Nice little pub, great service, good beer

We've been to Kai's Hardtwald Restaurant a few times now. Food very tasty, large selection. Great salad dressing and savory treats. Service always friendly. Wednesday is schnitzel day! Of course also great for watching football. The decor is rustic and cozy. Overall, highly recommended!

Gaststätte Sonne in Calw-Stammheim – the place where the smoke is thicker than the stories that are told here! 🍻 A real old school smoking bar where the air is as heavy as the beers. There's no food here, but who needs snacks when you're full with a cold beer and good company? A perfect place for anyone who appreciates the charm and smoke of a classic pub. Here you always meet a few characters and a few interesting stories - or invent some yourself after the third beer. Cheers!

Drinking beer and playing cards is something the boss forbids. It's a shame, we would have probably consumed more but that's just how we go.

We were thrilled with the menu. Whether traditional, vegetarian or vegan, everyone will find what they are looking for! The dishes are creative (e.g. kohlrabi avioli) and delicious, prepared with a lot of love! Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful beer garden for all seasons, cozy restaurant and very good selection of food. In summer we can highly recommend the Dinneten. The onion roast is also very worthwhile. Draft Augustinian beer! In winter you can eat fondue and raclette - also recommended! Changing daily lunch menu

Very old-fashioned furnishings, service is quick and shows relatively little interest in the guests. I'm used to German cuisine differently. Cream schnitzel with homemade spaetzle was bland and without taste, the meat was soft but almost raw. I had vegetable lasagna with tomato sauce, well... the lagsange only arrived lukewarm, probably only warmed up briefly in the microwave. It's a shame and not recommended. Toilets are far away and hard to find and are probably shared with another business.
