Ristorante/birreria spaziosa e ben tenuta con arredi tutto legno in elegante palazzo con affaccio sulla piazza del castello. L’accoglienza è buona. Il servizio lo sarà altrettanto. Ottima scelta sulle birre tra le quali preferiamo la weiss. Il menù è ben articolato e spazia dalle specialità del territorio, alla griglia, ai primi, alle insalate, ecc. ecc. Noi vorremmo iniziare con stinco di maiale al forno ma ci comunicano che è esaurito… ahi ahi ahi Allora dirottiamo sull’arrosto di maiale: non fenomenale, ma fa la sua parte. Come dessert, gelato alla vaniglia con panna montata e frutti di bosco caldi a parte: buono. A fine cena un fatto singolare: la cameriera ci presenta il conto totale senza lo scontrino col dettaglio di quanto abbiamo ordinato. Certamente paghiamo quanto richiesto, ma il dubbio che ci sia qualcosa di poco chiaro resta…. Prenotazione fortemente consigliata.

We didn't expect this: in the middle of Stuttgart in a prime location, a pub with an extensive but really cheap menu. Furthermore, a very nice service: Our visit was spontaneous, the house was full and we were still given a seat because we were asked if we would sit at a table with another couple. So my recommendation for visitors to Stuttgart!

The best brewery in Stuttgart has been unbeaten for years. Reliably good quality, very tasty food, always fresh and warm. Very tasty house lemonade and salads. Particularly noteworthy is the always extremely friendly and reliable service and the friendly treatment of the guests. The weekly menu always has great dishes on offer, and the seasonal dishes are also very good.

You can go here. The quality is fine; the portions are rather small. The atmosphere seems impersonal and there is a high level of noise from conversations. What's unpleasant is the toilet cash register and the fact that a reservation sign is placed in front of the bib - without asking how long you plan to stay and even though there are unoccupied tables.

I ordered a beef broth with Maultaschen. My expectations of the taste were met, but the broth and the Maultaschen shouldn't have been served lukewarm. Unfortunately the waiter was just annoyed and not attentive. A smile sometimes works wonders and increases the tip ;-)

I love Swabian cuisine and whenever we are in Stuttgart we go to Carl’s Brauhaus. It is always well attended. Very courteous and super nice service, nice cozy atmosphere, clear menu, but every menu comes in decent portions and tastes good too! Small requests for changes (e.g. different inserts) will be implemented without any hassle. Great value for money. The house beers are also very tasty! We'll definitely be back!

Very unpleasant service towards the end of the evening. The last round of cocktails was inedible, ingredients were definitely forgotten. Unfortunately it used to be much better.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend at all! There was a dead fly inside pulled pork burger. And it was really unpleasant experience for me. OK they tried to offer another dish but 'how hygienic are those dishes' is a question in my head. I would recommend to take simple dishes which you can see whats in it. 😕

I was very dissatisfied with the service and cuisine. After visiting the establishment for the third time, I still haven’t been able to try the pork knuckle. The rest of the dishes are just ladies' food I cannot recommend this establishment.

Wir waren zu zweit an einem schönen Abend dort, haben knapp 200€ liegen lassen (für ein Brauhaus & zu zweit schon recht viel), Vesperplatte mit 3 Brotscheiben Recht überschaubar, was uns jedoch überhaupt NICHT gefallen hat. Wir lassen zu 2. gut 200€ liegen und die Restaurantleitung hält es noch NICHT einmal für nötig einen positiven Kundenservice zu bieten und als „Nettigkeit“ einen Kurzen aufs Haus zu bringen (was jede geile Besenwirtschaft einfach so machen würde) vor allem wenn man die ganze Zeit harmonisch zueinander war. Stattdessen diskutiert sie noch weshalb sie das nicht machen & die Krönung „Wenn der Kellner das selbst zahlen will“ und wir hatten 15€ Trinkgeld noch gegeben. Leute euer fu**** ernst? Das nennt ihr Kundenfreundlichkeit? Wortlos

There were two of us there on a lovely evening, we left just under €200 (quite a lot for a brewery and two people), a snack platter with three slices of bread was quite manageable, but we did NOT like it at all. We left a good €200 for the two of us € and the restaurant management does NOT even consider it necessary to bring a short on the house (which any hot broom restaurant would do). Instead, she discusses why they don't do that. People tend to be serious? You call that customer friendliness?

Food was really good, service always in rush and not checking all of the guests at the table so have to call few times to order I.e. additional beer or desert. All in all worth going and eating.

You will be assigned a place immediately upon arrival. The service staff was simply great, very friendly and overall had a great charisma. The food was quick and tasted very tasty. My girlfriend had the Wiener Schnitzel, quite expensive, but the taste was simply great! I can only recommend it, make your own impression!

Enjoyed a great lunch of steak and pulled pork burger. Outside seating good for watching the world pass, large indoor seating area. Toilets are clean and well-kept. We were served by Dimitri and he was very friendly and efficient.

Large, lively brewery with a large selection of Swabian specialties, but also a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Unfortunately, the string sausages were nothing and the spaetzle was rather so-so. Unfortunately, compared to the meat burger, the vegan burger was half the size with only half as many fries, but was 2 euros more expensive. Overall, no harm in eating there, but still room for improvement.

Fine brewery, sensational roast pork with spaetzle! Clear recommendation!

We chose to eat inside, but there is a large outdoor seating area. Food was excellent and the server did a very good job. We would eat at this restaurant again if in Stuttgart. Restaurant is located in the older, historical part of the city. If you are staying in another part of the city it is an easy trip to the restaurant by Ubahn and then a very short walk.

Great restaurant, super perfect and extremely nice service, large selection of food and drinks, fair price-performance ratio. My tarte flambée wasn't a hit but the Brauhausschnitzel was good.

We have eaten Wiener Schnitzel and Swabian Turkey Ragout. Schnitzel could be better but Swabian salad that they served with was soo good. And a turkey could not be any better. Service was nice.

We were there today for a company outing. The service was very attentive and treated us with a wink. Drinks were all great and arrived at the table very quickly. The various meals were quickly at the table and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, the portions were quite small and almost everyone had to add more seasoning. Everything is pretty bland for home-style cooking... maybe for the tourists? The Viennese schnitzel wasn't really cooked and was more poorly cooked and the brewery fries would have needed a few more minutes in the deep fryer. For the price I would have expected a little more culinary art. Ambiance was okay. Somehow it made me feel like a real tourist in my own city for the first time. Also a new experience.

Rather than telling us that the kitchen was going to close, the waiter sat us down and told us that we had 3 minutes to order... one of the 4 dishes was almost cold when we told him they refused to reheat it because the kitchen is closed. He almost throws the dishes on the table, my friend wants to order 2 glasses of wine, he doesn't listen and only brings one back... in short, a place to avoid

Carls Brauhaus – A great experience with small discounts I recently visited Carls Brauhaus and overall had a very positive experience. The atmosphere is pleasant, typically brewery-like and inviting, ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or family. The staff were friendly and attentive, even if it seemed a bit hectic in places, but that's understandable given a full house. The food was tasty and well portioned. I was particularly impressed by the Swabian specialties such as Maultaschen and onion roast. The selection of beers is great - every beer lover will get their money's worth here! The only small criticism I would have is that the waiting times between courses were a bit long. However, that didn't detract much from the evening as the quality of the food was good. Overall, a great brewery with good food and a nice atmosphere. I'd love to come back!

Went in spontaneously yesterday without a reservation. The henchman made everything possible so that we got a place. Man of honor! Black beer and house soda from the top league. Tarte flambée was great and the rind on the knuckle cracked really well, a really juicy thing.

Without a reservation you have to be lucky during the day, even during the week. Food was brilliantly good, price performance definitely fits here. We were there with a group on Saturday and celebrated our birthday. It was very crowded that day. All the more commendable that everything went well for us. We really enjoyed our time and I found Dimi, our waiter, very personable and attentive. The volume was quite loud because there was a lot going on, but that didn't bother me at all. Gladly again.

The service was very bad yesterday. When I still couldn't order anything to eat after about 20 minutes and the waiter ignored me, I left again.

The friendliness at the bar leaves a lot to be desired... "Just a moment please" would have been enough. But “wait until the waitress comes” is not good.

For me it is incomprehensible why salads ordered with the main courses are not served directly and only after a complaint when the main course has already been eaten. One had the impression that either the kitchen or service was quite disorganized. One had the impression that the salads had just been sown. Likewise with several drinks that had to be complained about - one (apple spritzer) had to wait forever. Yes, they apologized, but it's nothing new that the restaurant is busy from 12 p.m. The food was okay, but the spaetzle was noticeably overcooked and soggy. Cappuccino was borderline bad. All in all: no recommendation.

Absolute recommendation! Always happy and satisfied! The team works quickly and is super nice. There is a small card for the children and something to keep them busy while they wait. It's a huge place, which is why it can sometimes take a while, but that's the case in every restaurant. All in all, we were never disappointed! Definitely coming back :)

Had the Swabian plate for 25 euros. Very disappointing. The Maultaschen didn't taste like anything, I have no idea how you can manage that. Schnitzel ok but also rather bland. The sauce was totally watery. Kässpätzle overcooked and mushy. Everything was still rather lukewarm.

This brewery is a large and spacious location. The card on offer is completely fine and, on average, is not too expensive. The location is also great for several people. Of course the food is not home-cooked but relies on convenience. This means it can be at the table quickly.

Every time I come back to stuttgart I end up here. Can say it’s fantastic but it’s centrally located and it’s decent Swabian food.

If you come across a hard-working staff member who is always on the move, taking orders and serving them quickly, you'll be in luck. The day will be pleasant. The famous pork shank, boiled and grilled, is a must-see. In one case, I was offered bread, but the garnishes made me feel full, so I recommend ordering more instead of ordering all at once. We also recommend seating on the terrace. There is an elegant view in front of the shop.

Very good pub in the center of Stuttgart I went to this pub for dinner with my girlfriend during a trip to Stuttgart. The restaurant is located on one side of Schlossplatz, a central area reachable by public transport thanks to the subway stop of the same name. Outside there is plenty of seating divided into two sections: drinks only and full meal. The interior is very large and in perfect German style. I had a Wiener schnitzel which I found very crunchy and delicious. I accompanied the dinner with a medium local beer. The service is quick and the prices are honest considering the centrality of the brewery.

Always get an invoice, we were cheated out of 1.20 euros.

Pizza I can't remember the name of Menu items such as schnitzel, Haksen, and ravioli are all delicious. Personally, I like things like schnitzel and potatoes served with Haksen. The store is spacious and nice. Non-alcoholic beer is also available, but I don't recommend it. Everything is good except It was nothing special. Thank you. A lot of people are forced to fight.

Terrible service, average food. Slow and cranky waiter, forgot about us and our order, didn’t even apologize.

It is a large place, but it is recommended to book a table, because it is very popular. And that's understandable. The food is good, their beer is really good both in selection and quality. We got a waiter who was funny and efficient at the same time. Both beer and food came quickly. And the price is definitely not a deterrent. Half a liter of Weiss beer and a large schnitzel cost DKK 180.
