Super friendly staff and the food was beyond delicious! Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant evening until it was time to pay. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, the ambiance was really clean and nice, just a place where you feel at home. Now for the food: We chose the chicken grill platter with coconut curry sauce and basmati rice. The portion was good and it looked very good too. It tasted very good, but what was not good was that there was simply too little sauce for the huge portion of rice, and what good is the best meat and a huge portion of rice if I can't eat it all? So I asked the waitress for more sauce, which she brought quickly and friendly. With this sauce, I was able to continue enjoying my very good meal. When it came to paying, what had been a very pleasant evening was ruined when I had to pay an additional €3.50 for the extra sauce. I find this outrageous, and the owner should consider whether this is acceptable. A dish on the menu should also come with a suitable sauce, so that the large portion of spaetzle or rice can be eaten comfortably without causing a gagging sensation. It's a real shame, because if the sauce I ordered separately had been included from the start, or had been free when I reordered, I would have actually given the meal 5 stars, but I can't. Oh yeah, I might have been able to accept €1 for this sauce, but even then, it should be included on the menu, or the server should have mentioned it. I would think about whether a satisfied customer isn't worth more than a small pot of sauce.

We had a delicious dinner at Weinstadl Rimmele. And they also had small portions. So I ordered a small schnitzel with salad and my husband a big one with bratkartoffelen. As dessert I had a tiramisu with an egg lickor and my husband icecream with whipped cream and warm raspberry sauce. It was really great.. nice people, good wine and a great atmosphere.

Maybe the kitchen was having a bad day. The potato salad was simply watery; I don't expect a Swabian potato salad to be just "wheels in liquid." The breaded schnitzel had a bit too much salt. It's a shame, I'm used to better things from there.

We were there in the afternoon as part of our bike tour. This time is mostly occupied by trainees. The service was accordingly slow, but still friendly. However, I think we'll try the restaurant during traditional dinner hours. The overall impression was very friendly.

We went to Weinstadl Rimmele for the first time on Friday with four people based on a recommendation. And we were absolutely thrilled. A very friendly lady reserved a very nice table for us outside. We were hesitant and thought about sitting inside as we weren't sure whether the weather would hold. She said that would be no problem at all and that if it rained we could go inside and the table was reserved for us inside too, which was fantastic. We were absolutely thrilled with the friendliness and the service, all the staff were super nice. Then our food came, wow. 👍very, very tasty, we'll be back and have recommended it to all our friends. We have been away from Europe for a year, came back to a road trip from Zürich to Baden-Württemberg on a rainy day in June 2025. Stopping into Rimmele for dinner was a great decision, we were in gastronomic heaven. Beautiful wein, wonderful, cozy dinner, stunning view of the countryside. So guat, so wunderbar. Danke shön!

Very friendly staff and delicious food. Good value for money

We went to Rimmele again after about 10 years on a Sunday evening (right around 5 p.m.). We hadn't been there in a while because we'd already decided it wasn't what it used to be. Unfortunately, nothing has changed for the better in those 10 years—quite the opposite. There were three of us, and after the waitress showed us our table (outside), two went to the restroom, and one stayed at the table. The waitress brought three menus and asked what we wanted to drink (even though there was only one person at the table). A little later (when there were three of us again), and our drinks were brought to us, another waitress positioned the tray awkwardly on the table, causing a wheat beer to spill. During the ordering process, we wanted to order the spinach dumplings, but unfortunately, they were already sold out (around 5:15 p.m. -> immediately after opening). Unfortunately, with another dish, it wasn't possible to change the side order because the restaurant was apparently full (it was at most 50% capacity -> doesn't match). The service definitely needs to improve. The food itself wasn't bad, but nothing special either. (Absolutely average.) The side salad gives the impression that it's already been pre-made. I think they're living off their good reputation from the past. No thanks, we won't be going here anymore.

Superb location, great view. The food was really good, beautifully presented, and delicious. The decor is beautiful. The prices were reasonable for the region. The staff was friendly, but didn't know their own menu, which is a shame. Conclusion: We would come back if we were in the area.

The Weinstadl Rimmele has a very special flair and also impresses with its brilliant view of the mountains. The food is very fine and tasty, the beer is nice and cold and the staff are friendly and attentive. What's great is that you can also reserve seats outside! Reservations by telephone are essential, as with all other restaurants. We are looking forward to being treated to culinary delights again soon and will be taking our friends with us since they don't know it yet.

The Allgäuer Filettöpfle with Kässpätzle is simply delicious. The fillet steak, prepared tender and juicy, is a real pleasure. The Kässpätzle are the perfect accompaniment to this dish. The salmon fillet from the grill was amazing 👍🏻 Gladly again 🤤

We stayed here with the motorhome for one night and had dinner in the evening. The starter platter was a dream and the main course was also excellent. But what was particularly impressive was the service. The employee who served us was simply great. But be sure to reserve. Is more than well attended.

Very, very delicious food. We had Swiss rösti and shrimp stew. Everything was freshly made. Everything was perfectly seasoned, the shrimp stew slightly spicy - also excellent. The service was super friendly and the view was fantastic. We'll be back on our next trip to the Allgäu. Be sure to reserve a table in advance on weekends.

Very very tasty food! Also the salad - very cool salad dressing! Nice and good selection. The antipasti starter platter was also good. But one would be even better. If only the service were just as good as the food. Unfortunately very unfriendly and moody. Really a shame. Sorry! But if you don't feel like meeting people, then you shouldn't. At times it was really unpleasant. You didn't feel welcome... And yes... the truth is not pretty. But you should be honest... But! Kudos to the nice, younger waiter who mostly brought drinks. He was really on the ball and very friendly! It works! 🤗

Service was very accommodating despite the bar being full, food was delicious. People even asked if the children would like to eat in advance. Always happy!

Nice location, friendly service. We had salads, a schnitzel with fries and the Swabian potty. The last one was delicious, plentiful and really recommended. The salad with salmon was poor. For the price you have a certain expectation... the salmon itself was tasty, the salad was little and very boring. Like the cheapest packaged salad at L*dl and co. Three dry pieces of bread stick included. There wasn't even a tomato to be found, apart from a few strips of carrot and the green salad on top. Too bad. You can't go wrong with schnitzel with fries, the schnitzel was really good. Not the fries. A few very crispy, a few normal... And half were half raw and definitely not in the deep fryer for long. Too bad. For almost €20 it's simply not satisfactory - even if you know that everything has become more expensive. The desserts, especially the Creme B. and the apple fritters, are very tasty, although not particularly cheap. But if it tastes good, I'm happy to spend a little more. The service was friendly, as was the entire service. The location is beautiful. And the parties we used to have there were great ;)

As good as the Hot Like Beats parties there are (high praise!), the food in the restaurant is just as bad. The portions and quality don't justify the price and we both had quite a stomach ache after two different salads. Too bad!

Das Ambiente und die Einrichtung sind einfach toll und gemütlich. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut. Auch das Personal ist mehr als freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allerdings hat jetzt z.B. der Zwiebelrostbraten innerhalb von 6 Monaten zweimal um je 5€ aufgeschlagen. Das sind fast 50 % Das hat mit Inflation oder Ähnlichem nichts mehr zu tun.

It's actually been a restaurant with a great ambience for years, with a great view in summer and a cozy room with a fireplace in winter. Unfortunately, the restaurant has fallen short in many respects. In the past all the waitresses were in dirndls, which made for a great picture, but today they are all dressed in black. Often fully booked and cannot be reached by phone to reserve seats. Unfortunately, the food doesn't always arrive at the table really hot. Today there was a wedding party, so all regular guests had to wait up to 45 minutes for food, over 10 minutes for drinks such as a simple cola in a bottle. There was a notice that it was full today and there would be long waiting times No reservation. Food: Steak was not English but medium to well done, if you asked, the cooking point of over 30 euros had to be adhered to. The steak and potatoes were lukewarm, the fried onions were to die for. Conclusion: still a good address, but the feeling of well-being and welcome has decreased and it is more and more about mass processing, even at the expense of quality. Very unfortunate.

Wir haben von 15:00 Uhr bis 16:30 Uhr versucht einen Tisch für zwei Personen zu reservieren. Durchgekommen sind wir mit dem Anruf nicht. Niemand hat abgenommen. Von 16:30 - 17:00 Uhr ist dann nur noch der Vodafone Anrufbeantworter ans Telefon gegangen. Als wir dann zur Gaststätte gefahren sind und um 17:45 Uhr angekommen sind haben wir von der Servicrkraft die Antwort bekommen, dass es zwar einen Platz geben würde aber die Küche keine Kapazitäten mehr hätte. Somit sind wir 50 Km umsonst gefahren. Dies wäre nicht passiert wenn man uns dies per Telefon gesagt hätte. Wir werden auf jede Fall diese Gaststätte nicht besuchen. Kundenorientiert ist diese Gaststätte absolut nicht.

We tried to reserve a table for two from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. We didn't get through with the call. Nobody picked up. From 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. only the Vodafone answering machine answered the phone. When we drove to the restaurant and arrived at 5:45 p.m., we got the answer from the server that there would be a place but the kitchen no longer had capacity. So we drove 50 km for free. This would not have happened if we had been told this over the phone. We will definitely not visit this restaurant. This restaurant is absolutely not customer oriented.

Standing in front of the door again and again because of “closed company”. This time there is a sign on the door saying “only those who have reserved” can come in. Rejected in an impossible (!) tone, even though the economy was almost empty, there was a company in the garden. They seem to be able to choose now. A notice of closed days via social media or website would be so easy. We used to enjoy visiting them, but now they're just narrow-minded and unsympathetic, sorry. We're not coming anymore.

The best steak I've ever had. Plus the delicious garlic pepper sauce and fries. This culinary delight is accompanied by a delicious Primitivo. The quality has been consistently at the highest level for over 17 years. Many star restaurants can still learn something here. The very friendly service and the very nice and pleasant atmosphere ensure an unforgettable experience again and again. When the weather is nice, the garden terrace with a view of the mountains is a great place. We are already looking forward to our next visit 😁

The Weinstadl Rimmele is located on a hill. You have a great view, especially from the outside tables...but also partly from the inside tables. The atmosphere is very appealing and harmonious. The service and food are great with a good price-performance ratio. We are now in our third year of vacation here almost every evening. A very personal relationship quickly develops. Keep it up!!! Very cozy atmosphere, rustic Allgäu furnishings. Have been to the Stadl many times, hence the many recommendations. We always enjoyed the food because it was individually flavored. Young and very attentive team. It's nice to sit anywhere, but the terrace is particularly great. A view of the Allgäu mountains and the Rhine Valley. See you next time

Nepotism at its best! Seats are reserved based on last name. And that in 2024! The food isn't particularly good quality either.

The ambience is great, the service is ok, but the food is terrible. Cheese spaetzle was extremely oversalted and the cheese was definitely missing... it's actually called cheese spaetzle on the menu and not salt spaetzle. Expensive prices that are not justified.

We were invited to a family party. Very great location, great buffet, great service. Everything is clean and pleasant. Great garden and definitely great for families with children. Unfortunately it was raining heavily here.

The Rimmele wine barn is located in a rustic old barn above a small hill. There were three of us eating and at first we were pleased with the moderate prices on the menu. We had a mixed salad, shrimps in garlic, a fillet pot, a Viennese style schnitzel, a grilled plate and apple fritters for dessert. The food was plentiful and really tasty! The service was quick but occasionally seemed a bit overwhelmed at short notice. Apparently there is a party here this weekend too... We'll definitely take a look at it soon!!!
