Very good vegan dishes. Exceptionally friendly service. It was delicious!

The outside table was completely dirty when we arrived. When the waiter came, it hadn't been cleaned or tidied up. We had to clear away the previous diners' leftovers ourselves. The portions were small and tasted poor. We won't be coming back.

The service and drinks were good, but the food was not of good quality. It was very reminiscent of cafeteria food. The fried potatoes were unseasoned and swimming in grease, and the potato wedges were not fresh but frozen. A lot of money for bad food, unfortunately.

The cheese spaetzle in a mountain cheese wheel is a treat. The service was very pleasant. They managed to find a nice table for us despite being quite busy as a large group. And all at a fair price.

We stopped by for breakfast. The service was very friendly and attentive. The coffee was excellent. The food was delicious. We had to wait a tiny bit longer, but it was worth it. We'll look for another opportunity to eat here!

Very special, but also very entertaining

No recommendation, service = 0, waitresses were uninterested, after a long wait (three other tables occupied) one of the staff finally came, but they didn't ask if they wanted another drink or dessert. What a shame, the bread with the salad was bone dry! Disappointing!!

We ate at vivo, and it was really good. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is modern yet cozy. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back!

Food and prices were OK. The wait, even though the store was only half full, was far too long (1 hour).

We stumbled upon this place by chance and were immediately impressed by the beautiful, pleasant place and the restaurant. The decor—both inside and out—is very appealing. The waitress immediately noticed us, the food was excellent (cheese spaetzle), and the drink selection was truly fantastic. Furthermore, the lady who served us was very friendly and made us feel immediately at ease. We definitely recommend it wholeheartedly!

We had a great salad, one with smoked salmon and a baked potato, and one vegan. It tasted amazing, and the service was great. Thank you, it was a wonderful three hours.

The staff were very friendly and approachable, and they even memorized the entire order for three people. Everything was beautifully prepared and served promptly. A balanced and creative menu, something you won't find everywhere else.

Beautiful ambiance & extensive menu with many vegan options! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the dishes on the menu aren't labeled with allergens. This makes choosing very difficult for those with allergies, intolerances, and those with food intolerances. Unfortunately, the feeling of taking a risk remains. Otherwise, great.

Breakfast there has always been great, except for the eggs, which are way too hard and cooked so long that the yolk turns blue! We can't recommend dinner. Unfortunately, the waiting times are also very long.

In my personal opinion, a 70-minute wait for breakfast (reserved table, not a spontaneous visit) is a bit steep. Especially when the hot drinks are at the table 20 minutes beforehand and are already cold when breakfast is brought. To be honest, the scrambled eggs weren't really a highlight, very bland. Price performance (except scrambled eggs) relatively okay. You simply had the feeling that the team was trying hard, but due to the number of visitors they had too little capacity and couldn't keep up. Too bad :(

I celebrated my birthday at vivo with a few girls. You could reserve in advance on the website. You could express your wishes by email. A breakfast was prepared for the desired number of people. The staff was very attentive and friendly. There is a play area for children. Highly recommended.

The bowl was a cold pureed berry soup. Salmon bait was great. Waffle nothing special.

Great restaurant with a wide range of food and drinks. The ambiance is also great, a mix of shabby chic and modern. The waitresses are all extremely friendly and made us feel completely at home. We celebrated my grandma's birthday, and they even added a sparkler to her dessert and played music – really great. There's even a small play area for children. We'll definitely be back; it's worth a visit!

Nettes Lokal. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Freundliche Bedienung. Wir hatten zum Mittagessen je eine Bowl bestellt. Ich aß mal vegan aber nur weil Avocado dabei war. Mein Freund die Lachs Bowl. Was da kam hat mich negativ überrascht. In einer Bowl wir alles separat angerichtet und frisch geschnitten was bei dem Gericht aufgeführt wird. Was bei mir serviert wurde war ein Gerstenstampf mit all den kleingewürfelten Zutaten vermengt. Konnte auch nicht erkennen ob alles dabei war, was beschrieben wurde. Als Topping dann die Avocado. Bei meinem Freund kam ein Buchweizenstampf grünlich, da bei ihm auch Spinat dabei war. Topping war Räucher-Lachs. Wir haben uns nur angeschaut. Ich wusste wirklich nicht wie lange dieses Gemisch schon im Kühlschrank durchgezogen hatte. So was kann man nicht servieren. Zudem - Preis Leistung ein No Go !

A beautifully decorated restaurant with extremely attentive and friendly staff. The food is very deliciously presented, but unfortunately, the plates are usually hotter than the food served on them. Seasoning is a matter of taste; here, less is often more. A no-go for Swabians: dry, finely chopped parsley spread liberally on and throughout the entire portion of spaetzle. Portion sizes are more geared toward seniors or children, but the prices are reasonable. The coffee and cake are excellent, and the atmosphere is very cozy with plenty of seating and upholstered furniture. Overall, it's okay, but there's room for improvement, especially with the food; as a pure café, it's very good.

This was delicious. And the beer...well it is Germany after all... Schnitzel was fantastic and the servers all spoke at least a little English. Enough to make communications with a tourist like me very simple

We were here with an online reservation. Everything worked perfectly. My Maultaschen (ravioli) with potato salad and my companion's pasta were VERY DELICIOUS! Lovely ambiance and friendly staff! What more could you want? I'd go back anytime! I'm already looking forward to my next visit ☺️👍

As a long-time customer, I always enjoy using Vivo. The reason for this is the excellent service as well as the vegan variety and the good taste of the food. Unfortunately, I still have to give my rating negative because customers are ignored outside of normal service. Suggestions will not be considered or responded to. The concept of the restaurant is rigid and the management is apparently not interested in improvements or implementing customer requests. Openness to criticism is a very important quality, but unfortunately this is completely missing here (among management). It seems as if the management is so blinded by the interest in profit that the wishes of the customers are outshined. I hope that the ability to take criticism or ignore customer requests will change one day.

Just here for coffee and cake today. The cake was delicious. And the extra portion of cream was a hit. I never eat cream, but today I felt like it. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the prices here have risen considerably. What I find positive is that you finally have the option of using a digital menu in addition to the regular menu.

Wir waren zusammen mit Einheimischen dort, die das Restaurant wärmstens empfohlen haben - aber dieses Mal selbst enttäuscht waren. . Das Personal war unterbesetzt und kam kaum hinterher. Das Essen (der Cheeseburger) war so lala. Das Patty war trocken und zulange auf dem Grill. Beilagen Fehlanzeige, der Burger wirkte auf dem großen Teller verloren. Die Brokkolicremesuppe und Käsespätzle schmeckten der Gruppe.

I have made a reservation but still I have to wait 1.30 for the meal I ordered. The ravioli with pumpkins filling is really good. In this way, it's worth the long wait. Personal are very nice and I noticed that there are people that come here often. Although the was full the waitet took time to take to everyone.

The food selection is truly extensive. There's plenty of fresh produce, and there's always something different for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ate there for lunch and were surprised by the delicious food. The staff is very busy but remained friendly.

Top-notch service on December 25th, especially from the lovely lady with the bun, who took care of us and even helped us out in an emergency. We'd be happy to come back! :)

We are once again in the Wangener Vivo. A nice restaurant with no frills, but with lots of original sayings on the walls. As always, the food was delicious, good value for money, and the service was friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Long waiting times, food only lukewarm, was not satisfied at all. Kaiserschmarrn cold. Not worth going again.

Price/performance ok, large portions, other food can be taken away, cozy, innovative atmosphere. Gladly again.

There were seven people there on Saturday evening, the food was great, the menu offers a great selection for all tastes (Swabian/veggie/burger/fish), the service was really very nice, always attentive and the prices are moderate. The atmosphere is chic and cozy and despite the restaurant being full it wasn't too loud, we all felt very comfortable. A reservation is recommended, the Vivo is, rightly, well attended and fully booked. I give it five stars, I'd love to come back.

We were there for lunch 2 weeks ago and were quite satisfied with the price-performance ratio. The service was nice, courteous and quick. There was a small discrepancy with a salad and we were offered espresso as a small compensation. Nowadays, it is rarely if ever experienced if you have something to comment about the food. We really liked that. What's a bit of a shame is that we missed the typical southern German atmosphere here. We just moved here from northern Germany and every other restaurant in our old hometown now looks like this. Typical franchise gastronomy. Otherwise, I highly recommend it to enjoy an inexpensive lunch 😊

Wir können das Restaurant Vivo nicht weiterempfehlen. Wir haben zwei unterschiedliche Hauptspeisen gegessen. Die Bratkartoffeln gaben den Anschein als ob sie nur in Unmengen von Fett gewendet wurden, nicht gebraten. Das Gemüse hatte keinen Biss mehr. Der Fisch ebenfalls triefend vor Fett. Und das ganze hatte keine Spur von Geschmack und Würze

A week ago, three of us from Munich with wheelchair users were guests at the Vivo and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. No annoying background music and a pleasantly subdued conversation volume, even though the place was full. What we found to be outstanding was the friendly and absolutely competent service - a big thank you to Monika, who, with her very natural, unobtrusive approach, always had the individual needs of the numerous guests in mind. Unfortunately, the roulade we ordered was mediocre, with too much filling and not enough meat, which wasn't cooked tender enough; On the other hand, the onion roast with a large portion of spaetzle and - if desired - very fine grilled vegetables instead of salad was very good; A minus point here is the non-homemade fried onions and the hefty price of €30. Overall 4 out of 5 stars, thank you!

A great cafe/restaurant, really nice indoor and outdoor area, very nice waiters and they have the best drinking chocolates! I also think the play area for the children is great, which my son loves very much. Definitely highly recommended!

Update: after our last visit we were unfortunately very disappointed. We came here specifically because we previously appreciated the pleasant atmosphere, the good service and the selection of delicious vegan options. Last time we didn't get a good table even though we had reserved one. Please check the online tool, it didn't seem to be in the book - "Yes, sit somewhere free". All that remained was an uncleared table that was infested with wasps because it wasn't wiped down - we then had to do it ourselves. Food: absolute deterioration, we waited a long time for tough meat, bland sauces & salads and dead peppered falafel. Only paying was quick. It's a shame, it was a sobering birthday dinner.

Completely understaffed and empty promises regarding waiting times

We were there today and ordered 2 rhubarb cakes with meringue. We received a mixture of rhubarb and gooseberries, so a clear case of false declaration. We would never have ordered in this situation. For me it borders on customer fraud.

Nice restaurant, inexpensive with friendly service

We were at Vivo yesterday and had lunch there. The atmosphere is nice, cozy, seating inside and outside. Unfortunately we can't recommend the food or we were just unlucky. We had schnitzel with fried potatoes, sweet potato fries and baked goat cheese. The fried potatoes were tasteless, the sweet potato fries were so salty that you could even see the salt and the baked goat cheese was unfortunately breaded frozen food. The side salad mentioned in the menu consisted of 2 leaves of lettuce and a few grated carrots. We liked the play area for children, but you go to a local restaurant to have a nice meal. Therefore only 3 stars for the food. However, we would have given 4 stars for the ambience.

Everything sounds great on the menu, but unfortunately it doesn't taste good at all. The 'fried potatoes' were just warmed potato slices, nothing fried. The vegan schnitzel was good, but that's more due to Rügenwalder or something similar, unfortunately the bowl and the pasta didn't taste good either.

When we were looking for a place that also offered vegan food, we found it here. There is a nice selection and we chose the vegan pasta and the salad with falafel. Everything is very tasty and the portions fill you up well. The falaffels in particular were to die for. The service was very nice.

Very good food, friendly service

All three of them were full. 2 people had the athlete's breakfast, the child had the standard breakfast. Except for the sausage, everything was delicious. There were different types of sausage, none of them were convincing. Like from a discount store. In addition, it shouldn't be such fatty salami, it doesn't go well with sports. All too often, only a few people can do that, because drinks can easily reach 70 euros. We will definitely stop by again and try something else.

I had breakfast there with my mother yesterday. I had the Vivo Vegan. The food itself wasn't bad. The taste was okay. The selection of sweet spreads is good and the portions are large and absolutely sufficient. Green peppers were also included in the selection of vegetables. However, this is very unpopular. Instead, carrots or radishes might be more recommended. One of the waitresses was very restless and had difficulty communicating. If there was a problem, the manager came to our table and we were able to sort it out straight away. Location is very good. Overall, I am very impressed with Vivo and will come back.

A really great, delicious breakfast. We had the dairyman's breakfast for 14.90 euros. The portion is generous, the quality and freshness are excellent. Everything is beautifully presented and there are many types of cheese on the plate. You can optionally order extras. The same applies to the Old Town breakfast, which is also very, very tasty. It costs 17.40 and is very varied with cheese, sausage, jam and fruit. Salmon, egg or vegan breakfast are also available. There really is something for everyone. The coffee is excellent, the best I've had outside. The atmosphere is nice, everything is clean. You can have breakfast both inside and outside. The service is great. The reservation can be made easily online and you will receive confirmation very quickly. If you have allergies, etc., you can indicate this in the text field and attention will be paid to it. Of course, it can also be specified on site when ordering. We can only recommend it! We are there regularly.
