Tolles Personal sehr freundlich , leckeres Essen da merkt man noch das alles frisch zubereitet wird . Die Schnitzel sind der Hammer sowas findet man so schnell nicht mehr . Preis Leistung ist sehr gut , Teller sehr groß also essen sehr viel . Kann ich nur empfehlen und der Biergarten ist genial .
Some time ago I reserved a table for 12 people to eat goose last night. So when we arrived yesterday everything was dark and the restaurant was closed 😲 When we called we were told that it was closed for renovations. It would probably have been a mistake to let me know. Hello????? That doesn't work at all. Luckily, the Simon winery next door still had space for us.

Man muss es leider so sagen, das Essen war unterirdisch. Wir haben noch nie so schlecht in einem Restaurant gegessen. Das Essen roch und schmeckte nach altem Fett. So etwas jemandem vorzusetzen ist eine Frechheit.
Motto: Whatever can still be found in the kitchen is served on the table.
Ordered three meals, changes to two of which had already been announced in advance, potato pancakes with "normal" bread instead of brown bread, lamb goulash with spaetzle instead of dumplings, so far so bad (in addition to a drink from the menu that was not available).
But the next surprises came when it was served, raspberry syrup was supposed to replace the applesauce with the potato pancakes, salad was supposed to replace the red cabbage from the goulash, which unfortunately turned out to be too much for more than one star.
Slight upgrade for the service because of the apologies and the free coffee at the end, but that didn't save the overall impression.
Oh yes, the menu on the homepage is of course outdated, the potato pancakes, for example, cost 4 euros more. So a very professional impression...
Otherwise the ambience was rather cool, what came to the table was acceptable average.
Unfortunately, I can only agree with the negative reviews.
If we had read these in advance, we would have saved ourselves trouble.
Price-performance is absolutely not suitable. Meat in the roulade was delicious, red cabbage tasted very good.
Ox cheeks tender and tasty.
Temperature and side dishes were a problem.
Drinks and dessert were nothing to complain about.
I don't want to repeat everything here either, because it's all already written.
I can only mention that we spoke to the waitress about these problems that same evening and also reported this to reception on the day of departure.
We can only say one thing here, if there is no change we will not visit this restaurant again.
Food is only edible if the super nice lady with the Franconian dialect is there. If the lady with the strange dog tattoo on her arm is there, the food is inedible.
