We had reserved in advance and were looking forward to a lovely, cozy evening.
Unfortunately, we had to wait a really good 1.5-2 hours for our food and we almost died of thirst. If we hadn't been in such a good mood that day, we would have left the place before dinner without paying. The food was good and tasty but not exceptional either, just good bourgeois, everything else was not. The great thing, however, is that after paying we were praised by the friendly but overwhelmed service, as we were the only guests who didn't complain, although there were only 6 at most.
Conclusion:
According to other reviews, it doesn't seem to be an isolated incident.
Guests who come later eat sooner?! Drinks take too long, people don't even pay attention to you after you order food.
I definitely won't eat there again, the waiting time is a disgrace and not at all reasonable, even if fresh dishes are made.
In order to serve drinks or food or not to forget guests, I don't need specialist staff, I just need motivation and fun in their job, otherwise you're simply wrong. Maybe it's not the waiter's fault alone, but rather the wrong organization as a whole or the working atmosphere isn't right.
It's a shame because otherwise the house makes a good overall impression.
The boss doesn't accept any criticism.
Unfortunately you have to give 1 star but it wasn't deserved.
We wanted to eat there after swimming. Everything was empty and they couldn't offer us a table for 9 people, children apparently weren't welcome because the children should have stayed seated.
Unfriendly to that.
Apparently they don't want to make any money.
Very unfortunate
Unfortunately we cannot confirm the good reviews. It is often closed here, which is only visible on the homepage. It was generally open for the city festival. We had schnitzel with fried potatoes (€3 extra) and cheese spaetzle. Large plates with salad on them. Unfortunately fried potatoes without onions and without bacon, I expected more for the extra charge for the fries.
Simply put two slices of cheese on it, warm it in the microwave and sprinkle on a few store-bought fried onions.
There was only one type of beer, unlike on the menu, where several types were offered.
The inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated
On Easter Sunday we decided to go to the “Altes Fährhaus” restaurant - without a reservation we got a nice table for three people. The staff very polite, friendly and quick. The food was super tasty, lamb chop with few bones, grilled to perfection and side dishes were also really good. There was also a greeting from the kitchen, a tasty tomato soup. We also ordered tarte flambée, which could have been from Alsace, with a thin, crispy base and the topping left nothing to be desired. For dessert there was a latte macchiato cake to kneel in. All in all, a successful meal. Thanks to the team.
This sleeping accommodation is well and centrally located. BUT, I think, the last renovation was paid for with East German marks and apparently there was a big shortage of craftsmen in the plumbing sector at that time. The worst thing was the cigarette smoke, which spread from the party room on the ground floor throughout the house and into the room through the doors that were very difficult to close. Really a shame!
I went here for dinner with a few friends on the 3rd weekend of Advent.
I would have left here again, but my friends wanted to stay here...
Our Alster was missing the Sprite and only water came out because the syrup was empty, but we all got a new Alster.
My vegetarian burger was just lukewarm, but I didn't feel like saying anything anymore...
I found the employees to be very overwhelmed and stressed.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend the "Schweinske".
I had a soup, I was offered some bread with it, the roll on top was charged at €1.50, pretty outrageous. Such a roll costs 0.19 cents. I think the prices there are overpriced. It's a shame, I won't eat there again.
