Unfortunately we cannot confirm the good reviews. It is often closed here, which is only visible on the homepage. It was generally open for the city festival. We had schnitzel with fried potatoes (€3 extra) and cheese spaetzle. Large plates with salad on them. Unfortunately fried potatoes without onions and without bacon, I expected more for the extra charge for the fries. Simply put two slices of cheese on it, warm it in the microwave and sprinkle on a few store-bought fried onions. There was only one type of beer, unlike on the menu, where several types were offered. The inside of the restaurant is very nicely decorated

No, we cannot recommend this restaurant, at least not for eating there. We were there for lunch on March 22nd, 2025. The waitress or the boss had a very brisk tone. There were four of us and we all wanted to eat goulash. The waitress replied that we only wanted two more but in a tone that said it all. We then had two and asked if we could have dumplings with it. The answer was again in a brisk tone: no, we've run out of dumplings, never mind, anyway, we had the goulash. Two of them, one liver and one roast beef. Well, the goulash was very fatty, otherwise it was okay. The restaurant was empty, by the way, we were the only customers. My wife and I will not be going there again. With these prices, that was the last time and we can only hope that this changes, otherwise I don't see any hope for this German restaurant.

Ich hatte heute Gulasch mit hausgemachten Knödeln. Kurz gesagt es ging gar nicht! Das Fleisch war zäh und hart und dem Knödel ging es nicht anders! Als die Kellnerin fragte wie es geschmeckt hat, habe ich ihr die Mängel mitgeteilt. Ihre Reaktion war "OH". Wer also Lust hat auf zähen Gulasch mit Zwieback hier ist er richtig!

This sleeping accommodation is well and centrally located. BUT, I think, the last renovation was paid for with East German marks and apparently there was a big shortage of craftsmen in the plumbing sector at that time. The worst thing was the cigarette smoke, which spread from the party room on the ground floor throughout the house and into the room through the doors that were very difficult to close. Really a shame!

I went here for dinner with a few friends on the 3rd weekend of Advent. I would have left here again, but my friends wanted to stay here... Our Alster was missing the Sprite and only water came out because the syrup was empty, but we all got a new Alster. My vegetarian burger was just lukewarm, but I didn't feel like saying anything anymore... I found the employees to be very overwhelmed and stressed. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the "Schweinske".

According to the manager, and information relayed by the waiter, the rent is €50,000, which is why, when the weather is nice and warm, you have to eat in the garden. Two drinks, goulash soup and ice cream with warm raspberries, weren't enough according to the waiter. We had them anyway, but fearing the consequences from the manager. Thanks for the nice threats! Threats are certainly free, which is why we wouldn't spend another cent there. Never again!

Never again, and it doesn't get a single star from me, and I really wonder how this place can get such good reviews, a no go from the start. Unfriendly, not really edible food where the fried potatoes tasted like fried liver or rotten fat. The schnitzel was toe and no seasoning on it, the egg was also completely empty, ready-made coleslaw from Aldi and almost 18 euros for it 🤨 regardless of the fact that the conditions were overwhelmed and disorientated, no system could remember the things ordered by the guests, asked several times, all in one simply horrible but that wasn't enough, no matter who was in this restaurant, everyone was unfriendly and one of the staff was more than just very rude... extremely insulted. I was very rudely approached by another male when I went to the toilet... I can't run fast at the moment but I had to go to the toilet on the way there and the male condition met me with plates and I was walking relatively to the side. When he saw me he said to me in an unfriendly and really disgusting way that I should run faster if I could, I'll soon fall asleep while running 😡😡😡. To which I reacted very dissatisfiedly and when I came from the toilet, the female condition came and was suddenly able to act friendly. Then I got fed up and told her to leave me alone. I went to my companion and told him that I would leave the restaurant immediately so as not to burst because that could have ended very badly, and I didn't want to put my companion through that. I took my bag and waited outside... I've never experienced anything like that before.. And I can assess it quite well because I have experience in the catering industry and, thanks to my hobby, I have been and have been to many restaurants, cafés and pubs. But something like that hasn't happened to me in a very long time.. this entire store is an imposition and needs to be put under control... At the beginning I thought the lady was overwhelmed but unfortunately I was wrong.. both of these conditions were simply incapable of dealing with customers and working without a system, no planning, no coordination, unfriendly, and with overpriced prices for a meal that was terrible, I wonder how you can still rate this restaurant positively. Then I'd rather go to a kebab shop for a meal because at least I can see how they prepare the food and appreciate their customers. I mentioned at the beginning that I would be sitting in the seats around the corner, but after that I was still forgotten. Furthermore, it was really the driest or toughest schnitzel that I was supposed to eat, but complained about it because I almost choked on it. I received a discount, didn't stay any longer due to the eternal wait and was very disappointed. Because I remembered it differently from before.

You can also announce in a more friendly way that you are closed. I haven't been yelled at in a long time...
