Brother, best doner kebab in Zwickau. But also the most expensive. It's cheaper to drive into town and buy it somewhere else. The taste is top-notch, but that alone doesn't justify the price.
The location is beautiful and offers an exceptional view.
For an appetizer, we had "croquetas," which were a bit salty but edible. The pumpkin cream was good, but nothing special. The small schnitzel was served with special potatoes in a kind of brine—inedible. Furthermore, I've never seen a restaurant serve a dish with a sliced schnitzel like this before... and it was also very salty. The worst schnitzel I've ever eaten in my life!!! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the meal!
We set out with the intention of spending a pleasant afternoon at the Pur's daytime bar. Disappointment followed upon entering the hotel. Completely empty, overly bright lighting, and a questionably outdated ambiance. After perusing the confusing and rather exotic wine list, we ordered the Wagyu burger, water, and wine. The water glasses had an unpleasant dishwasher smell, and the staff were uncooperative. The wine was at a comfortable temperature and tasted very good, but the Wagyu burger was truly substandard. It was presented unappealingly, and the meat was barely recognizable as Wagyu due to the excessive heat.
Conclusion: Better alternatives are easy to find in the area!
A cozy little café with a really pleasant atmosphere and great music. The homemade cakes and tarts are fantastic – large slices and delicious, plus very good value for money. My cappuccino was also excellent. Overall, a very enjoyable visit, so a clear five stars!
The food was delicious; we followed the menu recommendation and were not disappointed. It was a bit of a shame that there are no vegetarian dishes on the regular menu (only upon request). I would also have appreciated non-alcoholic drinks (long drinks, etc.). While there is a non-alcoholic aperitif, it was far too sweet to accompany the meal.
But it's all a matter of request...
The service was very attentive.
The ambiance has the charm of yesteryear; it's not modern, but it was cozy.
On Boxing Day, we dined at this restaurant (with a prior reservation). I would describe the ambiance as rustic and traditional. The table was charmingly decorated, and we had plenty of space. Ordering drinks and food was straightforward, thanks to the friendly service. The wait was a bit long due to the restaurant being full, but we bridged the gap with drinks and interesting conversation. The portions were enormous, and it was quite a challenge to eat everything. The taste and freshness were excellent.
