Simon knows how to cook. The dishes are outstanding. The menu features 18 delicious and delicate culinary masterpieces, plus even more surprises. Martin's superb selection of drinks and new creations complement the food perfectly. The service, the ambiance, and the location leave nothing to be desired. We always enjoy coming back and hope to return soon. Worth every penny of the €190 per person.
Recommended kebabs, etc.
But everyone should avoid the "Good To Go" bags. These bags are intended to sell food that's still edible but no longer intended for sale for 1/3 of the price before it ends up in the trash. Unfortunately, the corresponding value of the goods doesn't match the contents. So it's better to leave it alone before it causes even more resentment.
We set out with the intention of spending a pleasant afternoon at the Pur's daytime bar. Disappointment followed upon entering the hotel. Completely empty, overly bright lighting, and a questionably outdated ambiance. After perusing the confusing and rather exotic wine list, we ordered the Wagyu burger, water, and wine. The water glasses had an unpleasant dishwasher smell, and the staff were uncooperative. The wine was at a comfortable temperature and tasted very good, but the Wagyu burger was truly substandard. It was presented unappealingly, and the meat was barely recognizable as Wagyu due to the excessive heat.
Conclusion: Better alternatives are easy to find in the area!
I was here for the first time today and was absolutely thrilled. The ambiance is inviting and there's a pleasant atmosphere. The host is super warm and accommodating. The service is attentive, and you feel very welcome. The sushi was high-quality and lovingly prepared.
A great place
A pub with live music, occasional karaoke, home-cooked food, home-baked cakes, a quaint landlord with a great team, and well-chosen draft beer. Yes, it's a place you'll love to sit.
Small restaurant with a terrace in front. The interior is very comfortably furnished. The service was very good, attentive, and provided excellent explanations and tips about the dishes – perhaps because it wasn't quite as busy during the week.
First, we had a welcome from the kitchen: a vine leaf soup with a dollop of yogurt. A wonderful combination of sour and mild flavors.
The appetizers are divine and should definitely be tried. They're also great for sharing.
The main courses were also very tasty.
We were already full by then, but we couldn't resist the dessert that was highly recommended – a wise decision.
With appetizers, main courses, and desserts, as well as a few drinks, the Mahal isn't exactly a cheap treat, but it was worth every euro.
I won't be there for the last time. 😀
