Ausgezeichnetes Restaurant, wir haben hervorragend gegessen! Der Besitzer, Rosario, ist ein sehr netter Kerl 😁 Es war ein Abend, an dem ich völlig vergessen habe, dass ich nicht in Italien bin. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen, wenn Sie Wert auf exzellentes Essen und einen wunderschönen Abend legen.

Eigentlich wollten wir bei unserem ungeplanten Maiausflug nur lecker was essen gehen. Daraus wurde ein Abend, der uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. ✅ Rosario ist ein charmanter Gastgeber, der gute Empfehlungen gibt und gleichzeitig fantastisch kocht. Wir haben die Bruschette genauso genossen wie die Tagliatelle al Ragu (je eine halbe Portion) oder die Involtini. Hier gibt es keine Fertigpasta! ✅ Er ist flexibel auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und hat, ohne dass wir lange warten mussten, Köstlichkeiten auf den Tisch gezaubert. ✅ Wir sind wirklich gut satt geworden und hatten ein Abendessen, das im besten Sinne preis-wert war. Last but not least: Die Stunden sind wie im Flug vergangen. Wir haben mit Rosario so viel gelacht wie schon lange nicht mehr. Das war wirklich persönlich, herzlich und gastfreundlich, wie man es sich in Deutschland häufiger wünschen würde. Ich habe meinen Geburtstag dort gefeiert und es war super. Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal freundlich und immer zur Stelle. Dadurch, dass ich dort gefeiert habe, wurde der Tag unvergesslich. Ich werde immer wieder, auch ohne das ich Geburtstag, dort essen gehen. Einfach Klasse!!😊

Mit meinem Kollegen, beide aus Ulm geschäftlich hier in der Region unterwegs und am Abend im Restaurant Don Rosario essen gewesen. Und ehrlich, man merkt sofort: Hier geht es nicht um Masse, sondern um Qualität und Haltung. Wir hatten einen richtig guten Austausch mit Rosario. Ein Mensch, der seinen Laden nicht nur führt, sondern lebt. Herzlich, aufmerksam, ohne aufgesetzt zu wirken. Zum Essen: Die Lasagne meines Kollegen – frisch, hausgemacht, sauber abgeschmeckt. Keine Kompromisse. Meine Pinza – ebenfalls frisch, hochwertig belegt, Teig auf den Punkt. Man schmeckt, dass hier nicht gespart wird. Das ist kein „0815-Italiener“. Das ist ehrliches Handwerk mit Anspruch. Fast so gut wie das Essen meiner Oma aus Griechenland. Nein! Kleiner Scherz: Wer gutes Essen schätzt und keinen billigen Standard will, ist hier richtig.

Bei Rosario ist es, als wenn man nach Hause kommt! Antipasti, Pasta und auch das Tiramisu war wieder einmal perfekt! Die Tische sind sehr liebevoll und stilvoll eingedeckt. Das Personal kann man einfach nur lieb haben! Sind alle sehr charmant, lieb und nett und sehr sehr aufmerksam. Also schaut es euch an! Verbringt dort eine schöne Zeit mit tollen Menschen und lasst euch und euren Gaumen verwöhnen Nach dieser vergangenen Rezension, die ja schon etwas her ist, hat sich nach wie vor nichts verändert!! Das Essen ist wie immer sensationell gut und wir als Familie sind froh, dass du mit deinem Team da bist! Wir sind eher zufällig nach dem Fußball hier gelandet – und was soll ich sagen: ein absoluter Glücksgriff! Für ein kleines Dorf wie Saerbeck ist dieses Restaurant wirklich ein Traum. Schon die Antipasti waren top: frisch, abwechslungsreich, liebevoll angerichtet und mit richtig gutem Geschmack – kein Standard, sondern wirklich mit Herz gemacht. Danach gab’s hausgemachte Nudeln, und die waren einfach klasse: perfekt gegart, mit einer Sauce, die man am liebsten bis zum letzten Tropfen mit Brot auftunken möchte. Man merkt, dass hier jemand mit Leidenschaft kocht und auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingeht. Alles ist frisch, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf den nächsten Besuch – diesmal mit mehreren Gängen und in Ruhe, denn mit Reservierung ist hier alles möglich. Ganz individuell, so wie man’s sich wünscht. Wir haben das Restaurant durch Zufall entdeckt und waren rundum zufrieden. Bereits bei der Vorspeise waren wir vollends überzeugt. Man schmeckt heraus, dass es selbstgemacht und mit Liebe zubereitet wurde. Der Service war super und die Empfehlungen haben nicht enttäuscht. Die selbstgemachten Nudeln waren unglaublich & auch die Schweinemedaillons haben überzeugt. Der Chef hat rundum gut beraten und ist uns entgegengekommen (Vorspeise 4 Bruschetta statt drei wie auf der Karte, damit wir perfekt teilen können). Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Five stars aren't enough. Period. Everything here is truly homemade: the bread, the pasta, the sauces—even the aperitif at the end. No industrial nonsense, no canned food, no excuses. Instead, craftsmanship, flavor, and passion in every bite. The dough? Matured overnight. The bread? So good you'd want to smuggle it home. The atmosphere? Relaxed, honest, almost like being with friends. And then that moment when you realize: This isn't a show—this is real cooking. We were invited and wanted to be polite—we left with a big grin, full stomachs, and the firm intention: We'll be back. If you haven't eaten here at least once, you're missing out. Went there today on a whim to eat. I'd never noticed the place before, unfortunately because the food is really awful. The portions aren't that big, but it still tastes fantastic and you fill yourself up. You can taste the craftsmanship and the good, first-class food. Unfortunately it took a little while, but that was probably because everything was freshly prepared and the chef was alone in the kitchen. I would come back anytime. Thanks again for the great food!

We had an excellent meal. The lasagna was outstanding, not overly European. The tiramisu is also highly recommended. The owner is authentic and friendly. Well worth it. We'd gladly go back.

We spontaneously decided to eat there and were given a very warm welcome. Rosario's menu recommendation was excellent; we've rarely eaten such deliciously prepared sea bream. We went to Don Rosario's for the first time last night. And what can I say? We are totally thrilled. On the recommendation of the boss, we chose the mussels in a spicy way. Sauce decided. Mussels of great quality, the tomato sauce is a poem. And the greeting from the kitchen was also very tasty. It was worth it. That's why I like to come here from Münster. I went there for the first time last night with a friend. I know of few restaurants with a boss and his staff who exude so much heart and passion. On the boss's recommendation, we were offered a main course off the menu. It tasted excellent and was prepared with a lot of dedication. Recommendations were also made for the starter and dessert, each with a nice and understandable explanation of how they were prepared. Here too one can only express positive praise. For me at the end of the year it was a real highlight again, a restaurant with a boss and his team who can only be praised for an excellent performance. If you're looking for something special, you've come to the right place.

Everything was great. The food is super delicious. The ambience is very nice and the owner is an innkeeper and chef with heart and soul. There is no pizza here, just authentic Italian cuisine at a high level.

Very clean and tidy, very attentive staff and the boss also lends a hand. The homemade Bolognese was super tasty and fresh. Prices (under €15 for each of the lasagna Bolognese and ribbon pasta with Bolognese) are reasonable. A large glass of apple spritzer even costs less than €3. You are greeted by the boss and have parking spaces in front of the house... This detour was definitely worth it for getting off the A1 from the traffic jam...

We stopped by quite late and hungry to enjoy some food after a long trip last week. We were received with a lot of hospitality, seated and asked what we wanted to drink. He was absolutely understanding and helpful with my allergies, and food arrived very quickly and hot. It was lovely and definitely home- and freshly made. He convinced us both to get desserts afterwards, tiramisu and panna cotta, which were also home made and amazing, definitely worth the try. There were indeed few other guests there, but the food and atmosphere was great, and the waiters would speak with you so we didn't mind. We will definitely visit again if we pass through Germany again.

I actually never wanted to leave a review on Google, but in this case I have to make a one-time exception because I was so impressed by the taste and personality of this restaurant visit. I would have loved to try everything on the menu and stayed a few more hours, but I'll have to postpone that until my next visits. For professional reasons I travel a lot in Germany, Switzerland and Italy and therefore eat out a lot in different restaurants and can say from a wealth of experience that I have never eaten as well as I did here in this restaurant in Saerbeck. I can only warmly recommend that everyone let Rosario cook for them at least once in their life.

Rundum Perfekt! Wir hatten einen wundervollen und entspannten Abend. Alle sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Gastfreundschaft hat uns überzeugt! Jedes Gericht hat geschmacklich absolut überzeugt. Die Portion war ordentlich, alle sind sehr satt geworden. Die Leidenschaft spiegelt sich in jedem Gericht wieder. Auf Don Rosarios Rat habe ich als Hauptgang die Trüffelravioli in Salbeibutter bestellt, die alles noch mal übertroffen haben. Das Tiramisu war der krönende Abschluss des ganzen, das alles sehr gut abrundete. Ich habe noch nie einen so lieben und herzlichen Gastronom kennengelernt. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Heute waren wir im Restaurant Don Rosario. Was soll man sagen voll und ganz ein perfekter Abend. Die Kritik die uns zuvor über verschiedenste Wege erreichten, haben sich komplett in Luft aufgelöst. Das Essen der Service und das Ambiente hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Für Frische und selbst hergestellte Lebensmittel wie die leckeren Nudeln, ohne TK Lebensmittel zu verwenden finde ich in der heutigen Zeit einfach besonders und muss erwähnt werden. Wir kommen wieder!
