You don't even know where to start. Unfortunately, we cannot report any positive experiences. Ambience catastrophic with plastic flowers and lots of cobwebs. Service in flip-flops, polite but unqualified. Unfortunately apple juice for the child is sold out. Alternatively, a children's cocktail made from water and elderberry syrup and an orange slice is offered for a whopping €5. Ordered 2x lasagna. The worst lasagna we have ever eaten. There are only 3 main courses anyway and they're so bad. Lasagnes were promptly returned because they were still frozen inside. Even the second time, one of the two was still cold. Hardly any minced meat, hardly any sauce but 3x too much pasta dough with cheese and tomato paste. Unfortunately disgusting. There is no cash register and no invoice - only cash payment. Greetings from the tax office. Not recommended.

This restaurant is cash only…and the owner acted like you are not allowed here if you don’t have cash on you. I mean I have 20 on me so I wanna see the menu to find out if it’s enough for a meal. He literally rolled his eyeballs and pointed the door like I’m forced to leave or sth. With his gesture and his attitude, I’m never entering this freaking restaurant again. The worst in Frankfurt!!!

Went back today after a walk around the Twistesee. Everything was great, the restaurant was very cozy, the food was delicious😄, I can recommend everything without reservation👍

Nicely located by the lake. Some of the food was subsequently heated in the microwave. Schnitzel a bit tough. Service very nice. Clean place. Price/performance maximum OK.

The good thing first: the atmosphere in this restaurant is very rustic. The service is ok so far. For my taste, the food was a disaster and not worth the money. A thin "spinach cream soup" that only tasted like asparagus, pork medallions that were twice dead in a thick, industrial-tasting roux and croquettes that don't deserve their name... everything was somehow unseasoned... but everyone experiences taste differently ...but from our point of view you can save yourself the restaurant

The landlord is extremely unfriendly and seems overwhelmed. We spontaneously wanted to eat there after arriving at the campsite. Almost everything was reserved, but not yet occupied with guests. I said that we just wanted to eat something and then leave straight away, meaning that I didn't plan on sitting for hours. We were then bluffed that they weren't a snack bar and that the kitchen was busy at the moment. That's fine if the restaurant is full, but you can also communicate something like that in a different tone. We definitely won't try to eat there again.
