We can't say anything about the food or the bowling alley. Unfortunately, the pool tables are very dirty, but you can't expect much for €1 per game. The service staff was very friendly.
A sad farewell
The Deutsche Hof was more than just a restaurant - it was a piece of home, a place full of memories for many of us. It's a real shame that this traditional restaurant has now closed its doors forever.
The Deutsche Hof has been an integral part of the Paunsdorfer community since I was a child. The atmosphere, the always friendly service and, above all, the home-style cooking have made the restaurant something special. I will really miss the pork knuckle and the hearty roasts with the unique sauce - dishes like this are rarely found in this quality.
Special thanks go to the chef, whose skills have made many of us happy over the years. I really hope that he will continue to use his talent in another restaurant or project and that he can inspire people there too.
The Deutsche Hof may be closed, but the memories and the taste remain - and with them a piece of its heritage in our hearts. Thank you for the wonderful moments and meals!
We found the food delicious. Above all, you can still get real schnitzels here. I had vegetarian food which was very tasty. Salad also fresh and tasty. We'll be back.
Probably the best place in the zoo to eat properly and rest.
Price wise completely okay; In contrast to €15 pizzas, €8-10 cold schnitzels, currywurst with fries or €6 cake slices, the prices here are really reasonable and cheaper than those mentioned above.
At the beginning of the holiday, in a great mood, extremely hungry, then the goulash cannon was served, and only the first name was unfriendly. asked about a little thing, got an explosive answer that suddenly put me in a bad mood.
Nothing has lost in the service of this person.
I hope the management recognizes these grievances.
One stall further, exactly the opposite.
You don't even know where to start. Unfortunately, we cannot report any positive experiences. Ambience catastrophic with plastic flowers and lots of cobwebs. Service in flip-flops, polite but unqualified. Unfortunately apple juice for the child is sold out. Alternatively, a children's cocktail made from water and elderberry syrup and an orange slice is offered for a whopping €5. Ordered 2x lasagna. The worst lasagna we have ever eaten. There are only 3 main courses anyway and they're so bad. Lasagnes were promptly returned because they were still frozen inside. Even the second time, one of the two was still cold. Hardly any minced meat, hardly any sauce but 3x too much pasta dough with cheese and tomato paste. Unfortunately disgusting. There is no cash register and no invoice - only cash payment. Greetings from the tax office. Not recommended.
Nice, rustic, old-style pub. Cards are still tapped there and there are two daily specials that are freshly prepared. Beer also delicious. All at affordable prices.
Unfortunately, things have gone downhill since Franzi left. The owner is unfriendly and slow - maybe the lady should look for another job, she's out of place in the catering industry - I'd rather go to Bornholms 1.
We ate noodles. These were good, the side dish of salt was optional. The staff friendly, not intrusive. Price slightly high but still within reason, the view of the Rhine is priceless. Quiet despite high frequency.
On Römerberg Square is Haus Wertheim, the only original house from the 1600s in the historic center. It's a three-story building, quite charming with its half-timbered facade. Currently, the ground floor houses a restaurant and is one of the must-see places in Frankfurt. We went there for a beer to appreciate the atmosphere inside. We really liked it.
The food tastes good, but the taste gave me the feeling of ready-made sauces.
Roulades were good, schnitzels and medallions were okay, grilled vegetables and potatoes were not very seasoned.
Service understaffed, but friendly.
I'll stop by again but then order from the menu.
The reason for my visit was probably unsuitable for the restaurant and therefore my rating is not entirely accurate.
A very nice, large restaurant with plenty of seating and an outdoor area. With a lovely view of the lake, a pleasant atmosphere. There's a wide selection of different dishes and drinks, fresh, hot, and prepared with care. The staff are friendly and very attentive. We had a lovely birthday celebration here. A lovely destination. We highly recommend it. Thank you for the lovely evening.
