We booked a table at Frizzantino at short notice after seeing the children's opera – it was our first visit. The team went above and beyond to make it happen.
I must give them a glowing review – the service, the quality of the food, and the atmosphere were all absolutely outstanding.
Always worth a visit, great value for money, you can really tell that the team here is passionate about the restaurant business.
We spontaneously decided to eat here today and were delighted: a very warm welcome, prompt service, a wide selection of Indian dishes – and, importantly for us, flexibility regarding spice levels. The food was excellent, and the live Christmas music encouraged us to stay a little longer. Definitely not our last visit :)
A reservation that had been in place for weeks was simply canceled without an apology. At least they could have said, "We're sorry!"
Apparently, EO doesn't need that.
Card payments were only accepted for amounts of €7.50 or more, even though I was able to pay €3 by card with another employee. This is simply outrageous, especially since the card payment terminal fees are only a few cents. This all happened on July 11, 2025, at approximately 11 PM or midnight; it was the graduation party for the Hölderlin Gymnasium.
We happened to be in the area and weren't familiar with the restaurant. The menus were delicious and very imaginative, and we liked the use of regional and seasonal produce. The price is absolutely reasonable for such high quality. Very friendly service. Highly recommended!
A lovely atmosphere and perfect, very friendly and attentive service.
We were there with a group and had a wonderful evening.
The food was delicious, and the extensive drinks menu had something for everyone. (The craft smoothies (18+) were amazing.)
If you want to eat İSKENDER döner, you have to eat it here in the shop. As a Turk and a lover of İSKENDER döner, I would recommend it to everyone; the meat isn't the run-of-the-mill meat you get at almost every corner/fast-food joint. It's almost like you would eat it in Turkey, so very close. Of course, you should generally get the veal version, not the turkey version, then it's perfect!
