We found out about this place through a coupon book and absolutely loved our visit. The service was excellent: warm, friendly and attentive. The food was served quickly, was incredibly tasty and the portions were the perfect size: not too big and not too small. The Black Lion was a particular highlight as it gave us the chance to try several African flavours at once, all of which were amazingly good. For us, this is the best Ethiopian restaurant we have ever been to. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it!

A superb location! Great food, fine wines, and well-crafted beers. The owner and her partner are friendly, dedicated, and knowledgeable. There aren't many good restaurants left in northwest Germany...thank goodness for this "little pub"...

The food was delicious, but the prices for fairly simple dishes are, in my opinion, far too high. €15 for gyros without any side dish, meaning €20 with fries (but no salad), and €16 for a fairly small portion of simple, albeit well-seasoned fasolaki, which consists mainly of beans, potatoes, and tomatoes. The wait was very long, but the courteous owner gave us a portion of tzatziki to keep us from starving!

Based on the excellent reviews, we booked a table. The restaurant (as the name suggests, a converted train station) is very stylishly decorated. It's a cross between a restaurant and a bar. The menu (a mix of many dishes from international cuisine) is similarly impressive, as if they wanted to please everyone. The drinks and food we ordered were brought to our table by a feignedly friendly waiter. The food tasted OK, but nothing that would justify a visit to the restaurant for the price.

Best pizza you can get in Greifswald. Always take the garlic sauce, it's amazing. A room indoors is a bit small, just 5-6 tables. But you can take your pizza with you and have a nice eat out in the historical harbour 3 mins away.

We eat here very regularly and have always been absolutely satisfied. The sushi was always fresh and the rice was perfectly prepared. Today, however, we were a bit surprised - unfortunately the rice was really bad this time.

Echt leckere und reichhaltige Sushis! Das Restaurant hat eine klare Linie in der Einrichtung und genauso ist auch das Essen. Wir konnten zu viert eine große Platte nicht mal ganz aufessen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We spent a long Whitsun weekend at the hotel and, at the end, we all agreed: everything is just right here! Upon entering the courtyard, you are greeted by the building's stunning style. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by extremely courteous staff and are allowed to sit down on a comfortable couch with an aperitif and a small snack to check in. No standing around at a reception desk, etc. What a wonderful arrival! During our 2.5-day stay, everything was absolutely perfect. Our room was bright, quiet, extremely tastefully decorated, absolutely clean, and simply beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable. A blown fuse was taken care of immediately, and we were compensated for the 10-minute power outage with a drink from the hotel bar. That was more than good service. As for breakfast, all you can say is: it's sensational! Rich, varied, and incredibly delicious. An absolute delight in a very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. I do have one small suggestion for improvement: the TV in our room didn't have an internet connection, so we couldn't watch any of the media library. But it didn't really bother us! We'll definitely be back!

We've been here several times and that won't change...simply perfect. The owners are very friendly and make my pizza exactly the way a pizza should be...crispy and really tasty. Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍

It is a very nice restaurant with an exotic atmosphere and the cuisine is very well organized, you don't have to wait any longer and also the service is very good, the staff is very friendly and friendly. I am very happy to be at this place.
