I have newly discovered and am now happy to enjoy Indian food that differs from the others with fresh spices and vegetables.

Very nice little restaurant and very nice owner. Unfortunately the food isn't that good.

The 8th of us were here for a birthday. We all loved the ambience. The food was great, the service was very nice and there was even a cake at the end. We've never experienced this before. Only recommended! A really great shop!

Very tasty food and very nice service. Papadam with delicious sauces is always served in advance. The new hot sauce is particularly recommended. Unfortunately there are only limited seats, but we have always managed to get a seat. Card payment is also possible. If you can't manage the food, they'll gladly pack it up.

There were two of us who ate here and shared four starters and one main course. Everything was very tasty, very friendly service. We'd love to come back. Reservations recommended for larger groups.

The food was delicious, the man who worked there. He was super nice. He gave us several free things and when I always asked about something, he answered me directly.

Colorful without being flashy, friendly and open. A very friendly and attentive service and a meal that impressed us straight away. Spicy sauces, tender and juicy meat - everything works for us here.

Price performance top. Food super tasty. The boss is very friendly and attentive. He calmed my crying baby and carried him in his arms for 20 minutes so I could eat in peace. I'd love to come back.

Went there for the first time yesterday and was almost sad that we didn't go earlier. The shop is very lovingly and comfortably furnished. The food was very tasty and the portions were large enough to fill us up. The service was attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to our next visit there.

Unfortunately catastrophic. I had 2 hairs in my food and my fork wasn't clean, which is absolutely not possible. The restaurant is well located, but hygiene is more important to me and that's why I won't be coming back.

Authentic and tasty, friendly service. Indian pop plays all the time and there are colorful flashing light snakes everywhere. If you like it quiet and more dignified, you might want to take your food with you. If you don't mind, you'll have a delicious and, I think, quite authentic experience here. My lunch special with two dishes would have liked to have had more sauce and less rice, but the taste was really good. I'll go again when I get the chance.

The shop is very comfortably furnished and looks very inviting. The shop owner is soo friendly and really enjoys his job. He takes a lot of time, is polite and also responds to individual meal requests. I felt very welcome and can only recommend it to everyone. The food was also really tasty, there was something for everyone but especially for me as a vegan, there were a lot of options :)

I was in cologne on a trip with my Friends for a trip...the food served at Curry Street is very authentic Indian food you can get in cologne... really were happy with hospitality by Sukhwinder and I would really recommend any person who wants to try Indian food Love the ambience and the colours inside restaurant Khao Poyo Aish Karo is in sync with everything served here and the hospitalality served.

Very tasty and very friendly Price-performance: Top!

I was in the city for two days. It was one of the rare pkace open on the 1rst of May. I was surprises by the qualité. I must say that it's one of the very best chicken tikka massala I have ever eaten. Yet I've eaten it in many places around the world. And the waiter was friendly and smiling.

We went there for dinner today with 13 people. Small but cozy restaurant with a lot of kitschy decoration, but that's fine. The food was delicious and the service was also very friendly and attentive. The menu includes everything from meat to vegetarian and vegan. Gluten-free dishes are also available here Price/performance was great, you get full and the prices are more than good. I recommend this restaurant 100%. Since we were there as a large group at the end of a bachelorette party, we received a complete cake for free as a gift. Anyone looking for delicious, authentic Indian food wanted to stop here

Went there with a JGA, there was something for everyone and it was very tasty. There was then a “small” surprise from the house for the bride (a complete cake). Everything was great and the price-performance ratio was also right. I can only recommend

The food was very tasty. The rooms are OK, but not very comfortable. You actually don't want to stay there any longer than necessary. The constantly flashing lights are particularly annoying. Anyone who is prone to epilepsy could definitely be triggered by it.

I was eating there the day before yesterday with my family, we had ordered a platter (thalli) for 2 people and choley samosa as a starter, the samosa tasted very tasty, freshly prepared, crispy on the outside and soft on the outside, the sauces on the choley samosa were also delicious suitable for the dish and also in terms of taste. The thali was super tasty, you can choose your own dishes, we had biryani and vegetable sabji or you get salad, raita, rice and naan bread or you can choose your own chapati. In addition, the service is great, the boss comes to speak personally and asks if everything is OK, the boss even cooks personally. Overall, real Indian (Punjabi) taste, highly recommended. The ambience and decoration is great (very close to Punjabi culture) and the price is great and relatively cheaper than other restaurants.

Very nice staff, home-cooked food, we only ordered spicy and it could have been spicier. Would definitely go again. Some of the starters were good and some were too bland. All in all, a good restaurant experience.

We had a vegetarian meal here this evening. The black chickpea curry was very good! You can determine the level of spiciness yourself and the price/performance ratio is great.

We were looking forward to eating off the menu, but it was buffet style and there was no option to deviate from it. The selection wasn't particularly large, palak, dal, naan, biryani and another meat dish. Quality is okay, price is a bit too high. But then came the unpleasant surprise. We had not been informed that the assigned table was only available for a limited time. So after a short stay, we were sent back out the door with dessert still in our mouths. I know such adventures from India, but they don't fit into the local gastronomy. It's a shame, we would think twice about visiting again and would definitely ask in advance whether we would be thrown out again after 30 minutes.

Sehr leckeres Essen, Mega freundliches angenehmes Personal. Waren das erste mal hier essen, haben uns alles genau erklärt wie das Essen zubereitet wird, einfach super! Und zum Schluss gab es noch ein leckeres Dessert. Es wird alles 100% frisch zubereitet. Die Portionen sind super, Preis-Leistung super!

Expected a biriyani like that is shown in their insta page but the biriyani I ordered was a disaster. The lamm biryani was more like a lamm kichdi with the texture of rice being sticky with unwanted elements like carrot beans and peas been included in a lamm biryani.

Wir sind wegen der guten Google-Bewertung einfach mal hingefahren. Das Essen war wirklich richtig gut. Die Getränke ebenfalls. Sehr nett war auch die Bedienung und wir haben uns noch ein wenig mit dem Besitzer unterhalten. Ich kann das Restaurant definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Amazing services with authentic street food

Living abroad makes you homesick of authentic desi food, been to many desi resturants but this one is so far my favourite. Had breakfast today there and it tastes like home❤️ People there are so great and the food was exceptionally amazing.

We had a great experience at Currystreet, Bergisch Gladbach last weekend, we ordered chole bhature , mango lassi, masala chai and chicken pakore and guess what restaurant executives served us with complimentary gulab jamun and papadam with variety of chutneys, really loved the desi atmosphere and superb hospitality.

Für meinen Geschmack war das Essen nicht gut gewürzt, dennoch war es ok. Die Portionen sind eher klein. Die Bedienung liess auf sich warten, Beratung auch nicht ausreichend. Nette Atmosphäre im Lokal, Preis Leistung sehr gut, aber der Lassi unglaublich lecker, so dass ich gerne ein zweites Mal hin möchte.

Wir waren gestern Abend zum pakistanischen Buffet da und es war mega! Mein Mann ist Pakistaner und es hat ihm sehr geschmeckt. Das Essen war absolut authentisch und sehr gut zubereitet. Das Personal war super freundlich, jeder Gast wurde persönlich gegrüßt und mit Gästen die alleine kamen hat man sich auch gerne etwas länger unterhalten, sodass sich jeder sehr willkommen gefühlt hat. Das Lokal ist wunderschön bunt gestaltet, man fühlt sich wie in Punjab. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen und das nächste mal auch das Frühstücksbuffet probieren :-)!

Ein ganz tolles Restaurant in Bergisch Gladbach, großartig le authentische Atmosphäre und super freundlicher Service, tolle Menschen. Wir kamen am Buffet Tag super spät an und bekamen unser eigenes kleines Buffet aufgestellt. Verdient 6 Sterne wenn das möglich wäre.

Empfehlenswertes indisches Restaurant in Bergisch Gladbach. Auf Wunsch konnten zwischen dreierlei verschiedene Varianten an Schärfe bestellt werden. Alle Gerichte waren lecker zubereitet und der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
