Haben etwas zum abholen bestellt und waren super zufrieden! Super freundliche Dame am Telefon und im Restaurant. Sehr schnell zum abholen fertig und wirklich lecker!

Ich bin zum dritten Mal hier, und wieder total begeistert. Ich hatte Chicken Tikka Masala, MangoLimonade und MangoLassi. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Lokal ist sehr sauber. Es könnte ein bisschen mehr 'Indien' in der Deko sein. Ich war wieder einmal hier und finde die Deko sehr gemütlich. Die Terrasse ist schön und auch bei Sonnenschein kann man dort gut sitzen. Ich hatte die Vorspeise mit Gemüse und Tandoori Fleisch und Tandoori Chicken dazu den tollen MangoLassi. Ich komme bestimmt wieder

Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und gut zubereitet, angerichtet und serviert. Wir bestellten Chicken Makhni, Biryani und Knoblauch-Naan. Chicken Makhni und Knoblauch-Naan waren zweifellos köstlich, im Biryani war zwar mehr Hühnchen als Reis, aber es schmeckte trotzdem gut. Das Papadam war gut. Die Bedienung war sehr gastfreundlich und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren schon öfter hier und sind jedes Mal sehr zufrieden nach Hause gegangen. Die Gerichte sind hervorragend abgestimmt und angenehm gewürzt – nicht so überwürzt, wie man es von manchen indischen Restaurants kennt. Service und Ambiente passen auch sehr gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Lange haben wir ein gutes Indisches Restaurant gesucht. Und... endlich haben wir es gefunden- In Schildgen liegt dieser Geheimtip! Das Essen, der Service und das Drumherum ist einfach Spitze. Wir sind sehr anspruchsvolle Senioren. Hier wird ohne Aufhebens unseren vielen Sonderwünschen freudig nachgekommen. Wir fühlen uns hier seit mehreren Besuchen immer noch sehr gut aufgehoben. Die schmackhafte indische Küche wird hier zelebriert. Super! Weiter so! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eigentlich ist das Restaurant vom Essen her super... ABER der Getränke-Service ist eine Katastrophe! Von der Bestellung bis zum Getränk vergehen oft 15 Minuten, teilweise sogar bis zu 30 Minuten!!! Das geht gar nicht!

Ein absolutes Muss, wenn Sie in Bergisch Gladbach oder Umgebung sind. Tipp: Probieren Sie zum Beispiel die Gemüsesamosa und das Mango-Lassi. Schöne Lage, fantastisches Essen, freundliches Personal. Balle Balle

Wer gerne indisches Essen und Ambiente mag ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Gerichte waren authentisch, köstlich und ganz frisch zubereitet. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam aber nie aufdringlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Man sollte allerdings vorher einen Tisch reservieren, es war recht voll (Samstag)

Lange haben wir nach einem Inder gesucht und haben nach dem heutigen Tag endlich einen gefunden. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und auch die Fragen bezüglich der Schärfe usw sind sehr aufmerksam. Sowohl die Getränke als auch die Vorspeisen und später die Hauptspeisen haben nicht lange auf sich warten lassen. Es war ein runder und sehr entspannter Ablauf. Der Geschmack war eine 10/10, selten so lecker gegessen. Auch das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt perfekt überein. Dafür dass das Restaurant von außen recht unscheinbar aussieht, macht es von innen echt etwas her. Zusammengefasst: eine 10/10. Sehr gerne kommen wir dort wieder hin und empfehlen es auch gerne weiter :) Nachtrag: Die Fotos stammen von unserem jetzigen Besuch. Auch dieses Mal war es sehr lecker und das Ambiente mit der Musik war einfach nur klasse. Die Bedienung war auch wieder sehr zuvorkommend und es hat einfach Spaß gemacht☺️

Sehr leckeres Essen, zuvorkommende Bedienung, selbst der Lachs ohne Fischgeschmack, also wirklich frisch. Reservierung meist sinnvoll und nötig, da sehr gut besucht.

POSTSCRIPT: Unfortunately, I have to complain that the service staff doesn't display the attentiveness required for a good restaurant. After the meal and one drink were served, there was no question of whether we wanted another. The friendliness also unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. It's not just the food that has to be good; service is also important!

I recently visited the Indian restaurant Ajit Palace in Bergisch Gladbach and ordered the butter chicken. Unfortunately, my experience this time was unsatisfactory. The dish was very salty, making it barely edible. It's a shame, because I had expected more, as the restaurant otherwise has a good reputation. I hope they can improve the quality and taste again next time. Nevertheless, I don't want to give the restaurant a completely negative review, as other dishes might be better.

The food was delicious. The staff wasn't particularly friendly; we had to find and fetch a high chair ourselves. A generous tip was accepted, but there was no friendly thank you or smile. The atmosphere was somewhat bland and dated.

The ambiance is really nice, and the service is okay, but that's it. I would rate the Indian food as average at best; there are dozens of better Indian restaurants in Cologne. The chicken was of poor quality, and the sauce was unimaginative. The only explanation I can think of for the good reviews is that there's almost nothing else in Schildgen...

Once again, we had delicious butter chicken prepared WITHOUT cream. The atmosphere on site isn't quite our cup of tea. But pickup works great.

The food was very tasty. The portions were good to plentiful. There are more types of flatbreads than many other restaurants. Any intolerances were addressed and the kitchen was reassured about what was made without the ingredient.

We spontaneously ordered food to take away 40 minutes before closing time, the employees were super friendly and very accommodating. The food was very tasty, fresh and can only be recommended. You can't complain about the prices at all. We will definitely come back.

Service is delightful and friendly. Ambience Indian but not overly touristy. The food is top class and the ice cream is to die for! You have to try this, the best I've ever eaten!

I can only agree with the previous reviews: how great for Schildgen that there is now such a really good Indian here! I would even say that it would now be worth driving out of Cologne to eat here instead of the other way around :) I thought it was nice that you automatically got a small starter and could choose the spiciness of the main courses. Even the mild version didn't taste boring but was still well seasoned, just not too spicy. I also found the paneer particularly tasty. Thank you dear Ajit Palace team, we will definitely come back :)

It's nice that I no longer have to drive to Cologne to have delicious Indian food :-) Nice service and the waiting time for the food was reasonable. Anything that comes to the table quickly makes me personally suspicious! Drinks were served quickly and new drinks were requested promptly without being intrusive. This won't be the last visit :-)

Es ist das beste Indisch in der Gegend. If the street to Voiswinkel hadn't been closed, I never would have found it. 2:30pm on a Sunday is a great time to visit, we found a parking spot out front (there are only a few spots). The service was attentive, but they forgot my husband's Coke. We ordered two appetizers - Pakoras and Spring Rolls. Both were excellent, it was really too much for 2 people. The Spring Rolls were FULL of chicken breast. I'd never had Spring Rolls like that, most are just cabbage and a tiny bit of meat. Both appetizers were sprinkled heavily with Fondor/MSG powder, which wasn't necessary. Also neither came with any dip of any kind, so we were using our Papadam dips. The first Papadam was free, which was nice, and came with 3 types of dip (not mentioned on the menu). Both appetizers came with little side salads that were great cuz I'm American and I love corn and onions on a salad. The white dressing was mild and could have used some seasoning/herbs. I ordered the Chicken Tikka medly (triangle?) and got a really good impression of their Tandoori oven flavor, the blackened bits were excellent. The three types of chicken came on a sizzling iron grill with a bed of grilled vegetables, everything was steaming hot the entire time. The chicken was perfectly done, for chicken breast impressive, not chalky at all, still tender. However after a while on that hot grill they were eventually overdone. My main complaint was that my meal was mild, and I ordered SEHR SCHARF. It was so mild my husband could eat it, which never happens at Indian/Thai restaurants. His Butter Chicken was actually spicier than my entree. So we shared. Eventually I was able to get a side of chilis in hot oil and it was VERY HOT, and I was warned. Then the fun began, I could flavor each bite as hot as I wished. They gave us a very large serving of rice, which is unusual. Flavorful, perfectly cooked. I have to include that the bathrooms were extravagant compared to most German restaurants. WARM WATER at the sink? What a luxury. Modern, clean, but strangely the doors were propped open....why? I can't wait to come back and try some of my favorite curries. I wish they offered chicken thigh meat as well - maybe they do, or maybe they cater to the older generation that prefers breast meat, which is always drier than thigh. Our bill came to 60Euros for two appetizers, two entrees, two glasses of wine and a Coke. Very reasonable cuz we brought half of it home for tomorrow! I'm so glad that street was closed and I found this place. Gut gemacht, weiter so: )

This restaurant is a little gem. It is hidden in a side street off Altenberg Domstrasse. You won't find schnitzel with fries here. Instead, there is exceptional food with fresh vegetables, meat and fish, perfectly put together, deliciously seasoned, a taste experience every time. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Decent selection of diverse dishes. The portions are large. Starters, main courses and desserts - reasonably priced. Unfortunately the service is very poor. After a listless greeting from the staff, we had to wait almost ten minutes for the menu cards - and another ten minutes to place our order. The food was served after almost 50 minutes of waiting - unfortunately it wasn't served together. There was no proactive request regarding drink refills. In addition, the dishes from the neighboring table were not cleared away - so a battlefield was left behind. To pay you had to proactively go to the bar - otherwise it would probably have taken another 15 minutes. Conclusion: Very good cuisine - lots of choice, large portions and simply delicious. But a good restaurant also depends on service. Unfortunately this does not exist. You don't really feel welcome. Too bad :-(.

We had a delicious meal and experienced very friendly and pleasant service. The food was delicious for all of us (there were 17 of us). Despite the large group, we didn't have to wait long for the food. The space on the small outdoor terrace was also very comfortable. We are very enthusiastic about the restaurant and would love to come back.

I've eaten there a few times or ordered food to be picked up. It's one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to so far. Every dish I have ordered so far has been delicious and the service is really nice and attentive.

The food was once again very tasty. When the conditions come to ordering or paying, the things are brought quickly and it's very funny. However, sometimes you have to wait a long time until someone comes to order. The food is always very tasty, warm and sufficient.
