Sehr schnelle Lieferung und leckeres Essen ✨ das Butter Chicken und das Naan Brot ist sehr lecker. Zum Ambiente können wir nicht viel sagen da wir nicht vor Ort essen waren ☺️

Wir besuchten dieses wundervolle Restaurant an einem Montag und waren vom ersten Moment an von der wunderschönen, indisch inspirierten Einrichtung begeistert, insbesondere von der beeindruckenden Ganesha-Dekoration. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Als Vorspeise bestellten wir Papad, Manchurian und Butter Naan. Als Hauptgericht wählten wir Chicken Tikka Masala und Chicken Vindaloo, serviert mit Reis und Raita. Dazu genossen wir Mango Lassi, das hervorragend zu den scharfen und würzigen Gerichten passte. Ich habe den Besuch rundum sehr genossen. Die Bedienung war überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Meine Freundin und ich besuchten das Restaurant zum ersten Mal. Es ist erstmal verwirrend, dass an der Hauswand an der Eingangsseite groß "Fürstenhof" steht, was erstmal auf Gut Bürgerlich schließt. Nach Google Recherche ist einem dann bewusst, dass das eher unscheinbare "Guru" doch eher die Richtung angibt. Es handelt sich also um ein indisches Restaurant mit zusätzlich mediterranen Gerichten. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und die Bedienung sehr höfllich. Nach sehr leckeren Vorspeisen bekamen wir dann die Hauptspeise, welche im ersten Moment wie eine kleine Portion wirkte, aber wahrlich sehr sehr satt machte. Wir haben uns den Rest einpacken lassen. Sicher gibt es immer eine edlere Variante, aber in der Relation zum Preis, verdient das Restaurant definitiv fünf Sterne für tolles Ambiente, sehr netten Service und natürlich auch sehr leckerem Essen. Wir werden wieder hingehen. 💪🏻

Eines der besten Restaurants! Das Essen kommt der authentischen indischen Küche am nächsten, die ich außerhalb Indiens gefunden habe. • Essen & Service: Beides ist ausgezeichnet. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist das Tandoori-Hähnchen – unbedingt probieren! • Komfort: Es gibt einen eigenen Parkplatz, was den Besuch sehr einfach macht. • Atmosphäre: Das Restaurant ist sehr sauber und, was besonders toll ist, es ist tierfreundlich.

Von außen wirkt die Beschilderung des Restaurant und der Eindruck des kleinen Restaurant sehr unscheinbar. Doch am Parkplatz bereits konnten wir den Duft von leckeren Gewürzen verspüren. Die Inneneinrichtung ist einfach, aber stillvoll und gemütlich. Dazu leichte indische Musik im Hintergrund. Sobald wir die Vorspeisen probierten, verschiedene Naan Brote und indische Tapas, wussten wir, uns steht eine echte und leckere kulinarische Reise bevor. Die wohl schmeckenden Gerichte gingen nahtlos bei Hauptspeise und Nachtisch weiter. Alle Speisen waren exzellent zubereitet und man schmeckte die ideal dosierten Gewürze gut heraus. Es war ein Restaurantbesuch, bei dem man schon beim Rausgehen sich auf das nächste Mal freut. Es gibt sicherlich viele indische Restaurants, aber dieses sticht sehr positiv heraus.

Für Familienfeiern und Partys wähle ich immer das Guru Restaurant. Das Essen ist einfach köstlich und ich bin ein großer Fan. Zu meinen Lieblingsgerichten gehören Biryani, Mango Chicken und Chicken Kandhari. Mein absolutes Lieblingsgericht ist Mango Chicken – so saftig und lecker! Sie bieten auch einen Lieferservice an, und der ist wirklich gut.

Fantastisches Essen, tolles Ambiente und exzellenter Service! Bei jedem Besuch geht der Inhaber freundlicherweise auf unsere Geschmackswünsche ein, und das Essen schmeckt so authentisch wie in einem indischen Restaurant! Die Aromen und Gewürze werden ganz nach den Vorlieben der Gäste angepasst! Sehr empfehlenswert!

It was a bit cold in the shop. Unfortunately it didn't get much warmer with the guests and the food. You should heat it up a little there. The food was actually tasty, but too sweet. For me as a woman the portion was enough. As a man, you definitely won't get tired of it. The service wasn't very attentive and wasn't very talkative either. That's a shame. In general I would rather not go to this Indian place again.

We have ordered : Gobi pakora - good Chicken grill teller - excellent Tandoori Paneer - excellent Chicken pakora - good Mango lassi - okay, i personally did not like adding rose water into it, for me it spoiled the taste of mango Lassi süß - good Recommended for one time visit.

We won't be ordering there as often anymore because we also have to slow down. Now we ordered to pick up again. The menu is wrong! Why hasn't it been removed or updated after over a year?! The prices are wrong. If you pay locally it is always significantly more expensive! Due to circumstances, we were invited to dinner by friends. The three of us only got a small bowl of rice. Accordingly, each of us couldn't get enough of his little bowl of Indian dish. My chicken Gleiwch was completely burnt on one side. The quality and taste of the food is different every time and not in a positive way. The service couldn't speak any German and one person received the wrong food. Unfortunately, more and more things are going wrong here and the prices have already been increased again. We're slowly running out of food there. Very unfortunate.

Genuinely one of the best curries I’ve had in the ten years I’ve been in Germany. Wonderfully deep flavours with some subtle spicing and good sized portions. To top it off the staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.

It was a dream, two days later we still had a pleasant feeling from the fantastic food.

The food was outstandingly good. The waitress only spoke English, but if there were any difficulties in communication, a second waitress immediately came to help. There were four of us and we were all very satisfied.

A friend and I had lunch here. We ordered duck korma and lamb bhindi. A good combo, as it turned out. While the duck korma tasted extremely sweet, the lamb bhindi was more savory. Overall, the food was very tasty, but I deducted two stars for the cold, not preheated plates, as well as the food, which was kept warm using a tea light warmer at the table, but was served lukewarm at best. An absolute no-go for the high price. In total, we both paid a total of €50 with a large drink for around €5 each. The restaurant has the ambience of a normal pub. There is seating outside, but unfortunately on that day (it was sunny and around 18 degrees) you could only sit inside. The menu selection is quite large. However, there is obviously no main course for several people. Here we would have been happy with a mixed platter with a few starters to try. So you have to order something together yourself, which isn't exactly cheap. What I noticed afterwards was that when we ordered we weren't asked how spicy we wanted the food. It wasn't spicy at all. According to the menu you can choose between 3 different levels of spiciness: German, medium and Indian spiciness. Even though we were practically alone, the staff seemed polite but rather bored and unmotivated. The restaurant appears to be a family business. All in all I give it 3 stars. There is still clearly room for improvement here.

Ordered food to pick up via WhatsApp. As always, very tasty and quickly prepared. Something was forgotten to bring, we were called immediately and what was missing was brought out to us. Good portions always with delicious rice. We also ate in the restaurant, good service with nice conversations. There are sufficient and varied dishes to order for vegans.

Unfortunately, I was brought the wrong sauce, I told the waitress, she discussed it with me and still didn't offer me anything else even though I didn't like it, and then we got far too little rice for two people, so we wanted more No rice was brought to us, the things were simply put away while we waited for our rice. Das beste indische Essen was mir je serviert wurde. War auch oft in England indische essen habe aber nie diese Qualität bekommen. Frisch gekocht, handwerklich gut und die Abstimmung der Gewürze ist großartig. Immer gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant Guru ist ein grandioses indisches Restaurant, das eine breite Auswahl an traditionellen indischen Gerichten bietet. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und einladend, mit einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Das Essen im Guru ist wirklich köstlich. Die Speisen sind gut gewürzt und haben eine Vielfalt an Aromen, die die indische Küche so einzigartig machen.Die Portionen sind großzügig und sättigend. Der Service im Guru ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Personal ist stets bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Die Bedienung ist schnell und effizient, und es wird auf individuelle Wünsche und Vorlieben eingegangen.

Bestes indisches Restaurant, was ich in Deutschland kenne. Als lebenslanger GB-Tourist und Besucher vieler orientalischer Restaurants in England und Wales kann ich sagen, dass dieses Restaurant zu 99,9% an die Gerichte von da herankommt. Sowohl im Restaurant als auch beim Lieferservice ist der Service super! Bitte weiter so!

Ich habe das essen geliefert bekommen. Geschmacklich waren beide Gerichte (Palak Paneer und Bengan Paneer) mild und nicht sehr interessant. Nicht schlecht, aber für mich keine Wiederholung wert. Die vegetarischen Pakoras waren leider nicht sehr knusprig. Aber geschmacklich gut. Grundsätzlich war das Essen gut, aber für meinen Geschmack nicht interessant genug .

Bestes indisches Essen in Köln und Umgebung!

Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen!

Wir mussten nach der Bestellung mehr als eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten. Während dessen mussten wir mit ansehen wie neue Gäste nach uns rein kamen und ihr Essen deutlich vor uns bekommen haben. Die Bedienung war nur schwer zu greifen, denn anstatt zu arbeiten verbrachte sie die meiste Zeit an dem Tisch der restlichen Gäste und schwafelte mit denen. Als wir dann mal die Chance bekommen haben unser verspätetes Essen anzumerken wurden wir daraufhin von der Bedienung angepöbelt. Sie versuchte die Verspätung damit zu rechtfertigen, dass wir ja zuvor eine Vorspeise gehabt haben (die Teller der Vorspeise wurden nicht weggeräumt, sondern lagen noch vor uns auf dem Tisch) und sie hinten ja auch noch den Lieferdienst stemmen müssen. Nun, wenn einem das Á La Carte Geschäft und der Lieferdienst so überfordert dann sollte man sich lieber nur für Eines davon entscheiden und es nicht am Kunden auslassen! Nach unserer Anmerkung dauerte es nochmals 20 Minuten bis wir dann unser Essen endlich bekommen haben - wir wurden dort also komplett vergessen und übersehen. Das Essen dort war in Ordnung. Durchaus lecker, aber sicher nicht Wert um fast 1 1/2 Stunden darauf zu warten. Zumal wir für einen Tisch mit 6 Personen nur zwei Schälchen mit Reis bekommen haben.
