Delicious sushi and very friendly owners of a late-night shop. I have my packages delivered there because the opening hours are more convenient for me. It's perfect to combine with an evening stroll. Assessing the ambiance of a late-night shop isn't so easy. The goods are neatly and clearly arranged, but the shop's concept isn't really designed for lingering.

Always happy to come back! Top-notch in every way. Large portions, good prices...friendly hosts.

Embargo in Esslingen offers a truly harmonious experience. The vaulted cellar is modern and atmospheric, and the lighting perfectly showcases the space. The service was friendly and attentive, everything ran smoothly, and the table was beautifully set. The menu is small, but creatively curated and varied. The combinations are surprising and demonstrate a clear concept. The price point is hard to beat. What arrives on the plates far exceeds expectations. Fantastic flavor combinations and a very high culinary standard at an excellent price. Highly recommended. Surprisingly good, high-quality, and absolutely convincing.

First time 1 sushi set+ clay pot dishes. One of the best veggie foods I ever eat! Warm, cozy ambient. Nice and quick service! Just perfect!

The food is delicious, no question! But unfortunately, the portion sizes are almost outrageous in relation to the price. A daily special for €13!! shouldn't just be three small potatoes and three small chicken wings with a flatbread that seems to make up 60-70% of the meal. The doner kebab is also the smallest in town. Really disappointing, and I'll probably avoid the place in the future, even though the owner is very nice. 😕

A slightly different Greek restaurant. Not your average fare. The "Greek Table" is particularly recommended. It's a selection of appetizers and main courses, and it's really excellent.

Very friendly and attentive service. Our meal was excellent. They offer a lunch menu, also on Saturdays, with great value for money: soup or salad, a vegetarian or meat dish as a main course, and a dessert. Prices are slightly higher, but justified by the quality and preparation. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the Schlaraffenland closed permanently in August, and another restaurant with new owners will soon be opening.
