The food was good, service attentive and the atmosphere warm.

The food was quite good, but not exactly good value for money. The waiter, Mr. Schuster, is grumpy and has no real interest in providing good service. Changing food orders is almost impossible, and then the wrong order arrived. However, Mr. Schuster, as an experienced waiter, knew better than the customer what was ordered. I'll save my money and not eat there again.

Extremely delicious and varied seasoned meats. A definite recommendation for fans. Our main courses included the Sauerbraten, the schnitzel, the smoked pork, and hake. All the dishes were delicious and more than plentiful. The Seeperle is a great day-trip destination on Lake Markkleeberg.

To cut a long story short, I don't recommend this restaurant because: no free parking, the taste isn't worth the price. Positive: Staff is friendly, asks regularly. The one star is for the service. We arrived with two cars due to the number of people (no free parking = €8 for 2 hours). The restroom is difficult for older people (steep stairs to the basement). Senior portions reduced from €21.XX to €20.XX :-D Mushrooms in the pasta dishes have ZERO flavor (frozen mushrooms) at over €21 for pasta with mushrooms. We paid €240 for 6 people, €40 per person (one drink each), but you get more of everything in Leipzig's city center for that. After more than a week, I've calmed down a bit and am back on my arse as I write this review. Never again to this restaurant :-(

We spent a wonderful time at the Seeperle restaurant on Saturday for our granddaughter Leni's first day of school. Kudos to the team.

Nice restaurant near Lake Markkleberg. I didn't like the dumplings (they had a strange aftertaste). The vegetables and salad, however, were very tasty. The ambiance was also very nice, and the service was good and friendly. I'd gladly go back.

Pott Kaffee Creme has an obscene price for the little bit of coffee. There was also coffee cream that had expired for a month. Expensive parking lot!

Schön gelegen, nette Bedienung. Völlig überteuert für mittelmäßige Qualität. Saftschorle 0,4 für über 6 Euro, Bier für 5,70 nicht kottekt auf 0,4 aufgefüllt. Schwedeneisbecher mit günstigen Zutaten 13,50😳. Macht keinen Spass, wir kommen nicht nochmal. Man hat zunehmend den Eindruck , alle wollen ein Geschäft machen und reizen es bis zum Anschlag aus.

We were here for lunch today on the 4th of Advent. The food was very tasty and also plentiful. The waiting time was very humane and the service was very friendly. We can only recommend it.

We were at the Seeperle Auenhain on November 22nd for the "Disco/Dance Evening" evening event and were once again very enthusiastic about the location, the excellent cuisine, the service and the DJ, who knew how to fill the dance floor with his selection of music. Simply a wonderful, indescribably beautiful evening. Special thanks go to the staff led by Mrs. Winter. Such competence and attention to the guest is second to none! Thanks to the entire team! Nicely located by the lake. Some of the food was subsequently heated in the microwave. Schnitzel a bit tough. Service very nice. Clean place. Price/performance maximum OK.

During our short hike around Lake Markleeberger, we spontaneously stopped at the Seeperle. We were seated after a short wait. The staff was always friendly to us. The guest room is functionally furnished, but there is enough space for neighbors and a beautiful view of the lake. After choosing the menu, it didn't take long before we could start eating. The portions were plentiful and we were satisfied. Unfortunately, not all of the food came across as homemade. So the prices are completely in line with the quality. The sauerbraten was a bit too dry. I would have liked a little less meat. But more side dishes. The toilets in the basement were also very clean and spacious.

Great restaurant with children, coloring sheets inside, there is a playground outside and the children's menu offers the option to add vegetables of your choice, a great idea. Food was good too. Parking is unfortunately subject to a charge (€4)

A lovely family afternoon in the Seeperle Auenhain. We celebrated grandma's birthday here. The nice thing: we were able to reserve the table for around 20 people at very short notice. The food tasted fantastic. Tip: the waffle with ice cream and fruit puree. Very delicious. The service was courteous and polite. Shortcoming: During the payment process, I found the communication to be a bit slow considering the sales we brought in. But because the latte macchiato was so close to perfect, it was okay. 😌

Three of us (including a 6-year-old child) had dinner today. Food was really very tasty. We had a starter salad, the fish, smoked pork and rice pudding. There is a playground in front of the door, which is not a given. The staff was also very friendly. Would come again to eat!

Snack bar in beautiful Gewandt! I get higher quality food in my cafeteria. For a lot of money you can get ready-made food from the deep fryer. You probably don't need chefs here. Addendum related to the restaurant's response to this post: Last week we were guests in a holiday apartment in the resort as a family of 25 to 55 year olds and had dinner there on the first evening and we are not students ;) we all have 20 euros and upwards alone spent on food. Drinks not yet included. The potato rösti and the schnitzel, as well as the side vegetables, all seem to be frozen goods. Pasta dishes lacked flavor and the sauces were also from a jar. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the food cannot make up for the beautiful view. The restaurant probably benefits from the location and the lack of competition in the area. One would hope that at least the prices would be adjusted to the quality, since purchasing probably doesn't have much budget available.

One weekend I had a nice birthday coffee time with a larger group. The preliminary discussion was very pleasant and I felt very well advised when it came to the choice of food and services. A gift table was even thought of. The service during the celebration was also great; despite the ongoing business, we never had to wait long for coffee, water or the various ice cream sundaes. The nice thing is that the children can run around in the adjacent playground without having to go outside. In the evening the three of us stayed for dinner and here too there were no unfulfilled wishes.

I had a bison goulash and my wife had fried minced steak Croatia. Very tasty but not cheap. Otherwise everything was very good. Nice and quick service. We sat in the shady outside area, very pleasant.

We had a family celebration in the "Seeperle" on June 1st, 2024, my parents' diamond wedding, and would like to thank you again for making this celebration a success thanks to the great preparation, organization and service, especially from Ms. Winter-Paulini and the friendly Team made it an unforgettable day. Price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. Ready-made coleslaw has no place in a bowl that is advertised as containing fresh salad. The noodles we had were far too soft and the consistency was probably from the day before. The vegetables that came with it were from a ready-made package of frozen food. That's not possible at all given the prices. Not recommendable!

Unfortunately very bad food. The menu sounds culinary and you imagine fresh grilled vegetables coming. We got frozen food with tomato mush...which was called Leipziger-Süden Allerlei. The bruschetta was just guacamole cream on bread... As long as we waited there, we would have expected something fresher and better. But unfortunately I was seriously disappointed. The service (a pretty, young and friendly lady) was very good and also very patient with all the people who complained.

Very nice atmosphere, very friendly service, but the kitchen could be improved: some cold dishes, dessert takes 30 minutes - at least there were 2 ouzo as compensation 😜

The Seeperle is a very nice restaurant. In the summer you have a beautiful view of the lake from the window seat. The service staff are very friendly and accommodating and have very good diction - you can tell that you are in a more upscale restaurant here. The food and selection of dishes is varied and very tasty. The menu is adapted to the season and there are events with various delicacies throughout the year. The interior has already been designed and, depending on the time of day, you can dine well and quietly here. I can only recommend Seeperle to anyone who likes to eat well and receive friendly service. The only drawback is the parking situation as there is only the large parking lot at Lake Markkleeberger and this costs fees and is very full in summer. As far as I know, you can only access the Seeperle grounds as a holiday guest. Maybe there is another option, but I'm not aware of it.

The restaurant “Sepperl’e” was discovered on the way through Unfortunately, we were more than disappointed that there was no hearty Bavarian food. We later realized that it wasn't the restaurant at all but our inability to read. Because the supposed “Sepperl’e” turned out to be a sea pearl. That's exactly what describes the restaurant very well. Beautifully located by the lake, you can stay here and get excellent service. Always my pleasure

We had taken a motorcycle tour to Seeperle and actually wanted to eat ice cream. We were more impressed with dinner. Prices were in good proportion to the quality of the dishes. It's not a snack bar but a restaurant. On the outdoor terrace you have a good view of the landscape. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful 👍 Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, large outdoor terrace. We were there for coffee. A little more expensive, OK, but very nice for a restaurant like this. My husband was happy - there is mustard on the menu 😀 So we definitely recommend it. (In the photo there is an explanation of the prices. How true, unfortunately. Good idea. We guests tend to forget that 😲)

You don't have to wait long at the entrance as the guest is brought to your seat. Service is there immediately to take orders. Perfect...

Het restaurant is gelegen naast een camping en outdoor gelegenheid. Op zich een mooie locatie waar veel toeristen komen. Je kan er zowel binnen als buiten zitten op een groot terras. Het eten is Duits, eenvoudig maar lekker. De bediening is ook vriendelijk. Wij hebben o.a. de bison gegeten wat een lekkere variatie was. Aan te raden om te bezoeken als je bv op de camping staat

The location at the quarry lake is unbeatable. A very nice view of the sunset from the restaurant was very pleasant. The menu makes a balanced impression. There is something for everyone. Drinks, starters, main courses and desserts promise a culinary experience. The portions are large enough and leave you feeling full at the end. However, there are some compromises to be made. The vegetables e.g. Wasn't well prepared, just frozen food tossed in the pan. The meat itself was also a bit bland in taste. I had a pork steak au four, which usually comes with Worcestershire sauce, but there was no trace of it. Then at the end the calculation wasn't correct either. I think these points should be addressed. We'll come back soon and see if anything has improved. It was nice that the parking fee was paid when you ate in the restaurant.

We had dinner at the Seeperle restaurant last night. The food was very good Tasty and the service was very attentive and friendly. We were very Pleasantly surprised because we were there earlier have already had other experiences. We can only recommend this restaurant and would love to go there again.

The interior appears old-fashioned and sober. Nevertheless, everything is very well maintained. The menu is clear and the selection is good. The service was 1a! and the view of the lake is great.

Had dinner there today. It's beautifully situated by the lake. You can do a lot of outdoor activities there. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent and very tasty. A reason to eat there again when we are in Leipzig again.

Fast and friendly service, portions sufficient and quite tasty,

Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Restaurant & Ferienresort. Der Empfang und Services war Klasse. Ein großes Auswahl an Gerichten. Geschmacklich war das Essen hervorragend . Die Umgebung ist sehr übersichtlich, Parkplätze genau vor der Tür, alles Rollstuhl gerecht und umzäunt im Garten befindet sich ein Spielplatz.

Sorry das die Bewertung so spät kommt. Wir waren Anfang Juli hier zum 65. Geburtstag der Schwimu eingeladen. Also ich darf für alle Beteiligten sprechen und muss sagen das Essen war, jeder hatte tatsächlich etwas anderes bestellt, absolut hervorragend! Der Freisitz ist total klasse! Was auch ein Kriterium für 5* ist, war der Service. Selten ist es geworden das man sieht wenn die Gäste Durst haben und keine leeren Gläser auf dem Tisch stehen! Sehr gut und vielen Dank an dieser Stelle für den echt lobenswerten Service! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Im Zuge eines Betriebsausfluges waren wir mit einer großen Gruppe von 55 Leuten zu Gast in der Seeperle. Die Organisation und Kommunikation vor dem Event duch die Dames des Hauses war sehr herzlich und gestaltete sich völlig unkompliziert. Der Menüvorschlag umfasste 6 unterschiedliche Hauptgerichte und wurde nach unseren individuellen Wünschen zusammengestellt. Vor Ort war die Bewirtung unserer großen Gruppe, neben dem normalen Tagesbetrieb, super organisiert. Wenngleich die Bewirtung einer so großen Gruppe immer eine Herausforderung für Küche und Service darstellt, bekamen alle Gäste zügig zu Essen und zu Trinken. Das Serviceteam agierte dabei immer freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und dabei völlig unaufgeregt.Das Essen entsprach sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch voll unseren Vorstellungen und war dabei auch preislich angemessen kalkuliert. Als kleine Überraschung enthielt die extra für unser Event entworfene Speisekarte sogar unser Fimenlogo. Für dieses schöne Erlebnis geht unser Dank an das gesamte Team der Seeperle, welches sowohl vor als auch während des Events stets einen professionellen Eindruck vermittelte. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant, insbesondere für Firmenevents, uneingeschränkt weiter und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten Bison Gulasch mit Semmelknödel und Bison Schmorbraten für 48€ gegessen und dazu ein alkoholfreies Hefe Weizen, ein kleines Radler und einen SARTI Lemon Spritz. Beim Schmorbraten war ein Stück wirklich ein Schmorbraten, die restlichen zwei Stück waren leider sehr zäh und meiner Meinung nach kein Schmorbraten. Der Bison Gulasch war okay. Leider kann man von der Terrasse aus nicht den Markkleeberger See sehen. Das ist allerdings im Prospekt so beschrieben. Der SARTI LEMON Spritz sollte mit Grapefruitscheiben sein, die waren leider aus. Anstelle haben wir zwei dünne Limetten Scheibchen bekommen. Für den Schmorbraten gab es dann einen Kaffee und einen Espresso gratis. Der Kellner ist trotzdem sehr freundlich gewesen und unser Hund hat auch ein Hundekeks bekommen.

Speisekarte sehr vielversprechend. Leider auf dem Teller und im Mund weniger ansprechend oder gar spektakulär. Eiskaffee war dafür sehr lecker.

Schöner Freisitz und freundliches Personal. Parkplatz gleich nebenan.

Im Rahmen einer Familienfeier konnten wir den super Service, dass tolle Essen und die gute Location in vollem Umfang genießen. Wir war sehr angetan von dem was geboten wurde und wie man sich als Gast wohlfühlen konnte. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und freuen uns schon. Weiter so 👌

An klassische Bruschetta gehört keine Zwiebel und an Pasta Napoli gehört kein Gouda, Bitte passen Sie Ihre "italienischen Gerichte an" ansonsten könnten Italiener wie ich sehr ungehalten sein.
