Customer service was great and the food was actually good

Food is really casual. The atmosphere seems a bit sterile but clean and fresh. Definitely worth recommending.

I'm a little surprised that there are so many positive reviews here. So surprising that I checked twice to see if it was the same restaurant. But still and so I can only write that our visit on Boxing Day was unfortunately a total failure. We had reserved and were then squeezed into a table with three other people that was actually intended for four people. I have nothing against other people, but I find it inappropriate to be so close. Others were allowed to sit in groups of three at a table of four. Apparently we weren't good enough. We had a round of drinks, a starter soup and three main courses. The latter arrived even though the starter soup had not yet been eaten. And no one strolled. The food was no better than from the canteen. Lots of finished products! I was looking forward to the tongue because it's not available everywhere anymore. I got 2 small slices smothered in ready-made sauce. But I paid €20 for that. We complained about all of this to the waiter, who clearly didn't feel like caring and kept babbling something about "unfortunately there's no other way." We will never eat there again and will tell our story to all our lovely people so no one falls for it. I don't understand why this place still exists. The operators and staff should be ashamed of this! Spoiled our Christmas dinner. We were horrified! Of course, it may be that completely different employees were working in the company and kitchen on this one day than usual. Then it only affects those from December 26th, 2023!

We went to the Deutsches Hof twice and it tasted great both times. The service was friendly. We feel comfortable in the ambience, cozy! We'll be back.

Delicious East German dishes like solyanka or steak au four. Service is also good, there was nothing to complain about. The atmosphere is a bit old school but I think it fits and you feel comfortable. The East German beer is also delicious. We had a lovely evening.

REFERS TO THE DELETED POSTING - WAS PROBABLY NOT WANTED? I thought about whether I should write something, but anyway - I've eaten better in some company canteens. The place was clean and not overcrowded, there were fresh flowers on the table, the coffee was ok - those were the plus points. But if I expect home-style cuisine according to reviews and then am disappointed and have to pay a good price for it - I'm annoyed. I don't know how some of the reviewers here prepare their mashed potatoes - I use potatoes and not an instant bag and a crispy fried plaice comes out of the frying pan and not the deep fryer with 1cm of very crispy breading edge and still frozen fish inside. No - when I freed the clod from the coating, it was just icy and watery. I couldn't finish the food and pushed the plate to the side. The menu was still calculated - no, if you want to eat well, you should look for another restaurant.

Das Essen hier war sehr lecker und die Zubereitung ging super schnell. Waren aber auch nur zu zweit da und eine andere Gruppe die schon gegessen hatte. Könnte also bei mehr Betrieb auch länger dauern. Kann ich nicht beurteilen. Aber wird waren zufrieden 😊

Wir haben super lecker gegessen, deutsche Hausmannskost. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und wir haben nicht lange auf das essen gewartet. Die Einrichtung ist etwas altbacken, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter und sollten wir wieder einmal in der Nähe sein, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Eine echte deutsche Gaststätte wie sie hierzulande leider sehr selten geworden ist. Leckere deutsche Gerichte zu günstigen Preisen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder her.👍😊

Rustikales Restaurant mit typischem DDR Flair und Essen! Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich!

Gut bürgerliche, deutsche Küche, absolut lecker und frisch zubereitet. Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Ober ist noch alte Schule (weißes Hemd und Weste) dabei sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und angenehm unaufdringlich. Wohlfühlfaktor und Geheimtipp, unser Favorit ist das Bauernfrühstück.

Schnitzel mit Pommes und Mischgemuese, dazu ein Schwarzbier, alles richtig lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, wir wurden gut bewirtet. Kommen wieder.

Kann die Bewertungen nicht verstehen, wir waren letze Woche dort. Keine Parkplätze vorhanden, mussten etwas weiter weg parken. Ausser uns nur noch 1Gast dort zum Abendessen. Einrichtung etwas altbacken, essen ganz okay, service auch. Aber nochmal hingehen, werden wir sicher nicht.

Ich komm aus Waldheim.Gehe gern mit meiner Freundin in Deutschen Hof Leipzig. Essen ist total lecker Bedienung sehr freundlich. Gastraum hell und gemütlich. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Sauerbraten mit Klöße. Wir kommen wieder.👍🙂

Deutsche frische Küche. Herzlicher Service. Es gibt eine Mittagskarte, Seniorengerichte und Wildgerichte zu fairen Preisen.

Würde ich auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen

Wenn man heruntergekommene DDR Einrichtung mag ist man hier richtig. Die Bedienung war freundlich aber etwas zu übereifrig mit dem abräumen. Wir fühlten uns unter Druck gesetzt wenn schon abgeräumt wird während andere am Tisch noch essen. Das essen war OK aber geschmacklich nichts besonderes. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die Seniorenportionen.

Nach vielen Jahren hier mal wieder eingekehrt. Begeistert von dem hellen, freundlichen Gastraum in den sächsischen Farben grün /weiß. Adrett, freundliche Atmosphäre, ehrliche deutsche Küche auch mit kleineren Portionen und dabei günstigen Preisen. Komme gern wieder.

Wir waren heute hier zu Mittag essen. Sauber und ordentlich der Gastraum, die Bedingungen sehr freundlich und immer erreichbar. Preis und Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Das Essen war gut bürgerliche Küche und hat uns gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Seniorenteller und Kinderteller sehr gute Alternative zu anderen Gaststätten wo es nur normale Portionen gibt.

Solide Gaststätte mit schmackhaftem und frisch zubereitetem Essen mit breiter Auswahl in einer sehr angenehmen Preisklasse, super Preis-Leistung 👍🏻 und auch ein sehr sehr netter Service, wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind, werden wir auch wieder hierher zum Essen gehen!

Der Gastraum ist sehr rustikal gehalten. Das Personal war freundlich, aber wirkte schnell gestresst. Preise dem Essen angemessen. Die Fleischgericht&Klöße&Kartoffeln waren gut. Das Gemüse war hauptsächlich TK-Gemüse. Wenn das nochmal geändert wird, wäre das ein großer Pluspunkt.
