Schnitzel Culture was always very tasty and always tasted very good But unfortunately Schnitzel Culture will close on September 30th, 2024

It was always great, unfortunately it is now closing after 20 years :(

So today I was here for the last time with my work colleague and it was once again incredibly delicious 👍🏻😀 it's just a shame that it's closing. Loved being here

I cannot emphasize enough how disappointing my visit to Schnitzel Culture was. The food was simply tasteless - as if they had forgotten to use the spices. The schnitzels seemed to be made from anything but fresh ingredients; I wonder where these “foods” come from. You should really hire a real chef to prepare fresh and tasty dishes instead of just defrosting the food. The service also left a lot to be desired. It seemed like an eternity before we were even noticed. If I have to wait so long for my food, I at least expect something that tastes good - but that was a clear mistake here. The prices are simply outrageously high for the miserable quality. You definitely don't get what you should expect for your money here. And the ambience? Well, let's put it this way: there are better places to enjoy your food. It was anything but inviting and comfortable. In summary, I can only describe Schnitzel Culture as a huge disappointment. I certainly won't come back and can't recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately the oil in which the schnitzel was fried was a bit burnt. Unfortunately, the burnt taste was transferred to the schnitzel.

They probably had a bad night, I don't know. As soon as my food arrived, I could smell it and it wasn't a good one. Snitzel with not good quality meat (maybe even frozen but I don't know), very oily, the meat was just loosing the fried part, potatoes way undercooked, veggies and onions with a strange taste. I never leave food on the plate even when I don't like it, but in this case I couldn't finish it. Again, maybe they had a bad night.

Very tasty schnitzels in all possible variations made from pork, turkey or, for vegans, tofu and eggplant. If you can't find schnitzel here, you probably don't like it... 😉 The staff is friendly and the prices are really reasonable for downtown Leipzig. We like going here.

Very poor quality of food, poorly seasoned. If you answer honestly when asked if it tasted good, you will get a rude response. The bottom line is that the shop has nothing to do with German cuisine. Schnitzel was as pale as an Eskimo

Schnitzel as pancakes are offered in the Netherlands: all kinds of combinations based on schnitzel.

So I've never eaten as bad as today. Cauliflower schnitzel oversalted, potatoes and pommea almost raw, the hollondaise sauce was just the cauliflower water thickened with flour... Unfortunately it's no longer worth a visit. A year ago we had a very good meal there, I don't know what happened there. Please send the chef to training so that it becomes delicious again.

We are a bit disappointed for the money we could have expected more. We had the food delivered home, it was warm but the fried eggs were burnt, the croquettes weren't cooked through and it tasted a little burnt. The salad for both dishes was also not included. The waiting time and delivery was perfectly fine.

The food wasn't worth the price and the ambience wasn't particularly inviting. You also had to wait a long time for your order and the service was quite demotivated and unfriendly. I would definitely not recommend the restaurant.

While the locations on the market square and the side streets are sometimes very busy, there is still relative calm in the Schnitzel Culture compared to the former MfS administration. A quiet and shady spot in the outdoor area invites you to study the menu. The friendly service quickly serves a cool drink, also because the menu is extensive. The waiting time corresponds to expectations, because at least pan-fried dishes are served. In any case, Schnitzel Culture is a recommendation if you want something heartier. Schnitzel variations from different animals with a variety of side dishes.

Very tasty and friendly service, everything was great

The last time I was there was 14 years ago and wasn't disappointed today. The menu is hardly different, the restaurant is the same as it was back then (unfortunately it was hardly visited, but we were there late (2:30 p.m.), hence the subjective 3 stars). The waitress with a nice smile, the schnitzels were enjoyed by a very discerning audience. There's nothing more to say! I hope to experience the same thing in 14 years!

I can't confirm the negative reviews here, our meal at Schnitzel Culture was very good and the food came quickly. The menu is very extensive, so everyone can find something!

I really like being here because the schnitzels are very tasty, but I rarely go there 😅 often schnitzel isn't my thing either. It's very quiet there, I've never seen more than 8 visitors there, it's right in the city, if you look from Brühl towards the Prime market, take the street on the right and turn left before the first intersection, it has a patio, I would estimate that it is another 3-4m from the street, the street is very quiet, so you can actually have peace outside 😊 which is what I like best about the restaurant! Knocking on the schnitzel with a hammer 😂 that always tells me that the schnitzel is freshly made, you can taste it too, I usually eat one of the 300g schnitzel, my girlfriend can never actually make hers 😂 which is perfect for me because I... I also noticed that an employee was eating 🤣, because of course I suddenly had a different plate 🤣 I know that has nothing to do with it, but I do I think the Schnitzel Culture is better than the Schnizz towards Lindenau but we have been there several times. If you want to do something beforehand, indoor minigolf, the good thing about it is that it's less than 2 minutes away, it's 3D, not perfect but very fun and a group 😁👍 the indoor minigolf is called purple-light and of course I hope you have fun and bon appetit 😊

A very unfriendly service staff combined with pricing that was clearly too high, I left the restaurant again. The quality was significantly better, but the calculation is not correct at all. In any case, I don't expect instant sauces and frozen vegetables for dishes that cost €16 or more. Gastronomy also means friendliness. Please tell your service staff this or check whether the business is even for you.

Unfortunately the food was very greasy and everything tasted like deep fryer oil. Unfortunately, the raw vegetable side dish was also floating in oil and it wasn't the dressing 🫤

The schnitzel is in the foreground. You can choose between veal, pork, turkey, tofu, cauliflower and herder cheese schnitzel. And then of course a variety of side dishes. Always delicious!

Unfortunately, the service here has become very negative. We had reserved for 12 people. Our children were very frugal despite the long wait. Unfortunately the food tasted better... Once our food, some of which had been delivered incorrectly, had been eaten, we could hardly keep our children under control. The service staff didn't let this bother them and often ignored our request for the bill...

A great and wide selection of different schnitzel dishes, where it is difficult at first to decide on a specific schnitzel dish. In addition, for each dish you can choose whether you want to use pork, turkey, veal, Gouda or cauliflower as the schnitzel base. In other words, it is also suitable for vegetarians. Gluten-free schnitzel dishes are also offered here, which are suitable for certain groups of people. The schnitzels are freshly beaten and breaded, which you can also notice during your stay. In terms of service, we received friendly service.

Order was ignored with the comment that no delivery would be made at lunchtime. Google specifically states that a delivery service is offered from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. After 2 hours I called myself to find out. My number was stored, but there seems to be no initiative!

So the service is extremely unfriendly, sitting at the table chatting and preferring to eat instead of coming to the guest. The food is ok so far, but far from good. The schnitzel was completely mixed and tough. If you like unfriendly staff and a run-down atmosphere, this is the place for you. Never again for me!!!

It's super cozy, clean and tidy inside and out. The selection of schnitzels is very good and they taste great too. You pay €3.50 for a draft beer, which is perfectly fine in my opinion. The food came extremely quickly and upon request we were also brought various sauces for the fries. The staff was generally very, very good. Our waiter (the young man named Dennis who did his job damn well) came every now and then and asked if everything was ok and was therefore quick to follow up on everything. He was super friendly and sweetened our evening with your charming manner. Absolute recommendation for all schnitzel fans.

It wasn't my first time here and I was quite satisfied. On my last visit I was very disappointed with the food. Only the schnitzel was okay. The side dishes were so salty, almost inedible. Also, the consistency was similar to pudding. That had been very unsavory. Of course I didn't want to make any major complaints out of being rude. But the visit wasn't worth a big tip. Let's see if I can do this again.

Don't do that, we want to eat here at 7:15 PM. Ordered at 7:30 PM and didn't eat until 8:45 PM. Tent was almost empty. Order taken incorrectly. Takes a long time to get a drink. And even forgot one of someone.

We went here for dinner and were not disappointed. The friendly service was very prompt and we didn't wait long for our drinks or food. The menu is really big and deciding which schnitzel to take is very difficult :) The schnitzels taste delicious and the portion is quite large. Nobody will leave here hungry! The price-performance ratio is completely fine. We can easily recommend Schnitzel Culture!

The schnitzel dishes are large, absolutely filling and taste great. The price is more than fair. Unfortunately the waiting time was far too long, which was explained to us in the end and regretted... was an exception.

Good afternoon dear readers. After a recommendation, I went to Schnitzel Culture with my partner and we are disappointed. My normal (gluten-free) schnitzel was way too dry, tough and tasted bland. I was wondering if the schnitzel was seasoned at all. I also had a small portion of fries. These tasted good, however the portion size was woefully inadequate and left me hungry. This at a price of over €17, mind you. My partner ate the "tofu schnitzel." We were unironically served 2 breaded tofu blocks - hardly seasoned, very monotonous and dry. At least the sweet potato fries were tasty. The service was friendly and we were served quickly. However, guests who arrived after us were served earlier. I felt a bit left out. Conclusion: We won't come again and would rather prepare our schnitzels ourselves. It's actually a shame; I felt comfortable in the restaurant.

Were here for dinner. Friendly service, quick service and the food was tasty and the portion size was large enough. Reasonably priced and almost cheap compared to surrounding dining establishments. Everything seemed clean too. But the tables were incredibly sticky. That spoiled the overall picture for me.

Waiting time for the order on site was over 1 hour.

We were at Schnitzel Culture on May 20th and were not served by the service person with black hair and a pigtail for almost half an hour. After the chef had to get the waitress himself because she was smoking, we were finally served. The food was very good and we liked the atmosphere too. We would be happy to come back when the service staff slowly learns how to serve guests.

I was very happy to eat there because they serve gluten-free schnitzels, but I was extremely disappointed. Unfortunately the service was very unfriendly. The cordon bleu I ordered, which I ordered as turkey, was completely raw on one side, so it was not edible. The salad garnish was just sliced ​​cabbage with no dressing. And the edible part didn't taste like much either. The gluten-free breading was also very thin and not fried properly at all. All in all, unfortunately a big disappointment. Never again.

We had our 10-year-old "with our WGT friends - schnitzel eating - meeting" and for that I would especially like to thank the super friendly and lovely employees. Especially now with a small child, this super child-friendly and loving service is very noticeable. On behalf of our little daughter, a big thank you to the lovely waitress with the children's chocolate. The schnitzels are also really tasty and you can put together unusual combinations.

To be honest, it didn't convince me at all. I had a Schnitzel Förster with fried potatoes. The schnitzel was baked with a variety of mushrooms and cheese. There was also a little sauce underneath. The schnitzel was lightly seasoned. Salt and pepper were missing. The fried potatoes were totally over-seasoned with a fried potato spice. There was no taste left of the potatoes. In addition, some of the onions were pitch black. In terms of price performance, it's a very large portion. But not great in terms of taste. My wife had a Schnitzel Princess. Her fried potatoes had the same problem. But that's just a matter of taste.

Extremely delicious food, I've been here almost every week for 6 months because it's the best schnitzel in all of Leipzig! My favorite dish: “Leipziger Latsch” If you don't get enough of it, you need a stomach reduction! Incredibly delicious! And the staff is also very friendly!

I can't judge on site but the delivery wasn't good. I understand when you're stressed it can take longer...we ordered at 6 p.m. The food still wasn't there at 9 p.m. Shortly after 9 p.m. the doorbell finally rang. Unfortunately the food was completely cold. I'm sorry, but from such days it's better not to offer delivery at all, as this service was not recommended. Food itself was ok, as I said, just cold, which was less good for the taste, especially for the fries. Plus the very long delivery time...

I can't understand the bad reviews, I was very satisfied with the restaurant. Friendly staff, special requests were received, which fortunately were not charged for even though it says on the menu that you are entitled to do so. After a few years I gave the store a second chance after the first visit was more than disappointing, but the second attempt didn't have much positive to say either. The food is not very good considering how much the name and "image" promote the schnitzel. It seemed to me as if it was "freshly" prepared, but the products themselves weren't fresh at all. Wir haben heute seit langer Zeit mal wieder bei Schnitzelculture bestellt. Leider sind wir mehr als entäuscht. Als ich nach 70 Minuten telefonisch nachgefragt habe, wann das Essen denn kommt, wurde ich nicht gerade freundlich darauf hingewiesen, das man nur einen Fahrer habe. Nach 2 Stunden kam endlich das Essen. Geschmacklich grenzwertig und beim Schnitzel mit Spargel waren gerade mal 3 dünne Stangen Spargel dabei. über die Art der Verpackung möchte ich mich erst gar nicht auslassen. Es war leider das letzte mal das wir dort bestellt haben.

We've been coming here for years and have never had any complaints, but on our last visits there were always problems with the food. Unfortunately, we were there one time after a football game had taken place, so the store was packed. The service staff were extremely polite, but instead of turning away guests in advance with an understaffed team (there were only two service staff, one in the dining room, the other at the bar), more guests were accepted. We waited a full 1 1/2 hours (45 minutes just to order) until we had our food. Which wouldn't have been a problem if my food hadn't been so salty that it was simply impossible to eat. By the time the waitress came to our table again, the rest of our group had already finished eating. I consciously declined the offer to replace my food considering the previous waiting time. The next time I was served a baked potato that had already been warmed up so many times that it had a leathery, far-dry layer that was almost 1cm thick.

The Schnitzel Culture was recommended to us by a colleague and I can also say that I can only recommend it... what a great selection of food. Both the variations and the types of meat. There is also something on the menu for vegetarians/vegans and food intolerances.

We ate. Unfortunately my drink was a little late. The food was OK. There is a lot of choice of schnitzel. The Abiente is also beautifully located. You sit up or down. The service was OKAY too.
