Legendary place that gives you a mountain of food for an incredibly reasonable price (€4.50 for large serving of Nasi Goreng)

Small but nice shop. Very tasty dishes, prepared quickly and value for money is great. There is something for everyone in terms of spiciness. The bottom dish in the picture is the small portion of the noodles.

It was very tasty, the atmosphere is super nice. Unfortunately, we had to wait far too often for service even though it wasn't exactly full. Even after. Unfortunately, after asking several times, the service often passed us by and smiled. We'll definitely come back anyway...

The shop is rather small and inconspicuous, but very cozy. Almost always full of guests, you often have to wait a few minutes, but it's definitely worth it. A real pearl in Hamburg. Self-service, a large selection of vegetables and other delicacies, followed by a soup of your choice. Just really so delicious! Consistently good quality!

Great for the lunch break. The two ladies at the counter are sweet and extremely friendly, lunch costs less than 8 euros and despite the huge rush there is little waiting time.

Although I was always happy here, the Christmas menu was €39 per person. but very disappointing. Starter: With shrimps and Scallop filled dumplings on bean sprouts in light broth (OK, but not anymore), main course: spiced crispy duck with homemade plum sauce, spicy marinated cucumbers/spicy cabbage salad (duck was old and so very crispy that it partially crumbled, sauce was overly sweet, cabbage and cucumbers were more of a decoration), Dessert: Fruity Mango Sorbet (1 scoop from the Gastro Mega Spar canister). I expected more, the whole thing was very unloving. There were also various people who didn't wear a mask over their nose or didn't wear it at all! And it wasn't pointed out! Today, in October 2022, I thought I would go here again. There is a sign on the door telling you to disinfect your hands and wait until you are assigned a table. But hardly anyone sticks to it. After the Chinese meal, I told the waiter. But he doesn't care at all.

Ich bin in Eppendorf groß geworden (Sechziger), mein Schulweg führte mich täglich zweimal an dieser Straßenecke vorbei. Solange ich mich erinnern kann, war hier ein chinesisches Lokal. Ob das damals schon das sympathische ältere Paar war - nur in jung - keine Ahnung. Aber ich meine, es hat damals schon »Lotusblüte« geheißen. In den Siebzigern und Achtzigern habe ich dort ein paar mal gut gegessen. Daran erinnere ich mich deshalb noch so gut, weil ich meine geliebte Wan-Tan-Suppe als Hauptspeise bekam: eine ganzer Terrine, nicht nur ein kleines Suppenschüsselchen. Nun waren wir wieder hier, und ich bin rundum angetan. Ein angenehm möbliertes Restaurant. Man spürt die chinesischen Wurzeln hat aber auf alle China-Folklore verzichtet. Es gibt ein einfaches weißes Geschirr, auch hier ohne irgendwelche Drachen- oder andere angeblich chinatypischen Ornamente und durchgängig bis in die Salz und Pfefferstreuer. Alles sauber, das Sambal-Töpchen nicht verklebt, nichts angeschlagen. Und, man lese und staune, es gibt kein Aquarium. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich, wie in diesen Restaurants üblich. Man findet alle Gerichte, die für uns Europäer typisch chinesisch sind; und doch spürt man eigene Akzente. Wir hatten Vorspeisen, einen Zwischengang (Dimsum) und Hauptspeisen. Alles war sehr schmackhaft und sprichwörtlich einwandfrei.

Amazing food and services. Food came quite quick and it tasted amazing. We ordered Dimsum and Aubergine with pork belly and it just tasted perfect. Definitely will come back. One of the best Chinese food in Hamburg.

Gutes Essen mit einigen Besonderheiten wie Xiao Long Bao. Und eine gemütliche Einrichtung mit schöner Beleuchtung. Der Garten ist toll!
