Wong Delicious Asia GmbH in Hamburg

A superb Chinese restaurant and an absolute must-have if you like Asian cuisine. The food is fresh and delicious, and the service is very friendly and attentive. The refreshing towels offered at the beginning alone are a 10/10. We'll definitely be back 🙂

After eating several times both in the restaurant and at home, we were looking forward to another great meal. Unfortunately, today was a disappointment: the delivery took 2.5 (!!!) hours instead of the promised 1 hour, the Szechuan beef dish had very little meat, and one soup came without any garnish. The other dishes were reasonably good, and really not as good as usual. Unfortunately, given the price, this is unacceptable. I would have been happy to be told to pick up my order myself instead of calling four times and being put off. We won't order delivery again, and we're not sure if the quality is any better in the restaurant.

There's nothing wrong with the food, but unfortunately, delivery and phone orders were given priority, which meant we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. They also brought us two Peking soups instead of the wang tan we ordered. When I told them what we had ordered, they brought us two wang tan soups instead of one. And when we came to the bill, they couldn't remember what we had.

We insulated a house next door and had lunch at the restaurant... super delicious and everything was great! ;-)

Very good Chinese Restaurant. Best Chinese food outside China. Use Mandarine menu, not the German one to experiance it.

The Chinese menu features many authentic Chinese dishes and it really tastes like China.

So good that I had to give it 5 stars right away when I ate the food... Definitely go here for dinner. Lovely Asian atmosphere and the food is simply delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We'll be happy to come back.

A real hit! My wife and I went to Wong Delicious for lunch today for the first time – and we were absolutely thrilled! You can truly feel the passion of the hosts in every detail. The homemade Yuzu Elder lemonade was a real highlight – with cucumber, orange, and a wonderfully fresh flavor, highly recommended! The main courses – tender beef in oyster sauce and chicken with dark sauce and mushrooms – were perfectly flavored. Even the small radish side dish was so sophisticated and delicious that it could easily pass as an appetizer. The service was very warm and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. And to finish off, a wonderful homemade Cococino – a real treat!

Auf Anfrage erhalten wir eine extra Speisekarte als Notebook mit authentischen chinesischen Gerichten. Damit tauchen wir ein in eine geschmacklich neue Welt. Authentische chinesische Gerichte der Extraklasse. Jetzt verstehen wir warum im Speisesaal so viele chinesische Gäste sind. Aus einem normalen Rindfleisch Szechuan mit Paprika und Bambussprossen wird durch eine raffiniert gewürzte Soße mit leichter Schärfe ein Geschmackserlebnis. Diese Speisekarte ist ein Geheimtipp! Unbedingt empfehlenswert und ausprobieren.

The food was delicious, there were also three children's dishes. The service was also very friendly. The prices were a bit more expensive than I'm used to, and the space was a bit small; perhaps it was almost impossible to get a seat during meal times. The portion sizes were generous, and we were full. Something new: there was no Asian music in the background, just good electronic music.

Too many waiters and family members milling around the small restaurant. Waiters of German and Asian descent. The owner's wife spoke too loudly. She was standing at the next table and telling regular customers there's another menu, and if you eat that, you won't want to eat anything else. We were sitting next to her as guests. The restaurant's decor is dated from the 80s. They're trying to be contemporary with tray ordering, etc. When the food arrives, all the waiters ask if everything is OK. It's not customer-friendly, which is annoying. They're trying, but there's a lot of potential for improvement. I didn't take a photo because there was nothing exciting to see. You can get the same food anywhere, but it didn't taste bad.

Really good tasting food at fair prices

We went there for dinner with a large group a few weeks ago. It was our first time there and we'll definitely be back again. The food was absolutely delicious.

The service was completely chaotic. Chinese guests were given extreme preference. Starters and main courses all arrived whenever someone had time for us. The bony duck was served with cold rice, and hot plates were considered "old school." However, they cost "new school" money!

Negative: We visited this restaurant during the week around 7:00 p.m. At that time, the restaurant wasn't particularly busy – most guests were already seated. Nevertheless, we had to wait over an hour and a half for the first dish. Even after that, the dishes didn't arrive at the same time or quickly, but only after the previous dish had been completely consumed. This made it difficult to eat together and led to long pauses. These waits unfortunately significantly detracted from the overall experience – even though the food was delicious and authentic. On a positive note, the owners were very friendly and apologized for the long wait with a small appetizer and dessert. Positive: The menu was bilingual (Chinese and German), which was very helpful. While the dishes on the two language versions of the menu weren't completely identical, the numerous pictures of the dishes made it easier to choose – especially for guests who weren't so familiar with Chinese cuisine. This helped with orientation and whetted the appetite to try more. Suggestions for improvement: The xiao long bao (filled dumplings with pork, No. 817) unfortunately had an unpleasant, slightly porky taste that detracted from the experience – an improvement in the quality of the meat or the preparation would be desirable. The dish 辣子鸡丁 (Chili Chicken), which the chef recommended to us, tasted good but was a bit too salty. Conclusion: Overall, we were reasonably satisfied with the food. Personally, I probably wouldn't pay the restaurant a second visit, especially because of the long wait. However, if you want to try authentic southern Chinese cuisine, you can get a first impression here.

First, they didn't want to deliver themselves, and then, fifteen minutes before pickup, the order was postponed indefinitely. It's better to order somewhere else, then you'll get what you need.

Tuvimos una estancia de noche en Marriott Courtyard y nos topamos con este restaurante que está a solo unos metros a pie. El propietario es una señora tan agradable y servicial que puede hablar cantonés, chino y alemán y tal vez incluso más idiomas. Pedimos dim sum y saben tan bien. Es muy agradable cenar en un restaurante chino no buffet. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

I am absolutely thrilled! After work I just wanted to grab something quick to eat and thought I'd try Wong's - and what can I say: simply delicious! In addition, the service is incredibly friendly - you rarely experience something like that. Really recommended all around.

After seeing Xiaohongshu and Google Review coming here, the famous pickled fish is indeed well-deserved. It is full of hot oil and has a fragrant aroma. The fish is super smooth and tender and melts in your mouth. The boss lady said that the fish is fresh from the sea every day, which is much fresher than the river fish used in China! I also ordered tofu mixed with green onions, and surprisingly it had crispy Shanghai greens, which was super refreshing! I also ordered dumplings, stuffed with cabbage and pork, and the dipping sauce prepared by the boss himself was very fragrant. The proprietress was super enthusiastic and kept coming to ask if there was any need. She also offered spring rolls and homemade caramel ice cream, which was absolutely amazing! So delicious! And the weather is very good today. It’s super interesting to sit outside and have airplanes flying over from time to time. It’s fun to take photos.

How do you recognize a very good foreign restaurant in Hamburg? Most guests have the same nationality as the host! That was the case on Saturday evening. I've known the restaurant for 20 years and often stopped by on the way home. As an ambassador for Lebensfreunde.de, I was able to introduce my friends to the original Chinese cuisine that I only encountered in Hamburg at the Dim Sum House on Kirchenallee / opposite the main train station. These do not correspond to the now most Germanized 10-minute brick kitchen. We were able to choose from the Chinese menu based on photos and received good advice from Mr. Wong. It was a new experience. All 8 participants were enthusiastic about visiting the restaurant.

Noch vor 21 Uhr schmiss die Dame des Hauses den Staubsauger an- Gastlichkeit geht anders. So kann natürlich auch unmissverständlich zum Gehen aufgefordert werden. Mein Tipp: gut essen kann man auch anderswo. Aber wer Mensa - Bewirtung mag ist hier wohl gut aufgehoben. Wichtig ist 🚨ja keine persönlichen Wünsche äußern. Das mag die Dame des Hauses überhaupt nicht. Wir haben 25 Minuten still gewartet, bis wir Essen bestellen konnten. Die Zurückhaltung hat aber auch nichts genutzt. Alles in allem : nur für Stammgäste fein. Fremde erscheinen unerwünscht und das m lässt man es sie spüren.

The restaurant was so cold because apparently the heating had broken down. The prices are awesome: a glass of Sprite 0.4 for €6.40. Sorry, that just doesn't fit. So we will also cross this restaurant off our list. It's a shame, because the food is actually good.

It wasn't my taste. I ordered without onions and I had a bunch of onions everywhere, leek onions, fried onions, white onions and red onions. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not for those who don't like onions.

Nope: I'm not going to write too much here - read what the 5 star reviews say, that's an understatement anyway... What a great place! MUST make a reservation, at least call ahead and ask, otherwise there could be a shortage of free space. For me as a country bittern it was a bit new to have to scan the card at the seat using the QR code. I later saw that the classic version is also available upon request - just ask! But I do have ONE downer: when I go out, the bottom step feels a bit high, which was a bit difficult for me as a cyborg (artificial knee). But that's whining at the highest level! We will ABSOLUTELY come here again! It's nice that you exist!❤

I ordered several times, the food was never really great, the beef was always tough but you could eat it and it tasted good. This time, however, you shot the bird. I want to try something different and pay 32 euros for a shrimp dish that is prepared like in the fast food restaurant with the M around the corner. The sweet and spicy garlic sauce was simply the sweet and sour sauce that every Asian restaurant has at the train station, no trace of garlic. The Peking soup ordered with it was completely inedible. An absolute disgrace, I will never order from this store again.

This is the first time I write a review in Chinese. I usually write it in German, but this time the Germans don’t have to look at it. They can’t even see the ridiculously expensive Chinese menu. You can’t see the Chinese menu unless you go online. However, many dishes require reservations. Why didn't you ask the boss when you were on the phone? He didn't speak Chinese well and we couldn't understand many of the words. Who would have thought that a piece of chicken could be sold for 45 euros per person? ! As shown in the picture, this dish is called Coconut Chicken on the xhs noodles bought at the store. It’s called Da Bian on the store’s Chinese “hidden menu” and it’s 45 euros per person! Just this little chicken! Later I asked the boss if this was enough for three people. The boss also said that these were a lot. Later I said that they were not the same as the ones on xhs. The boss added some more, but they were not worth the 135 euros! The three of us spent 60 euros per person and only had some chicken and a few pieces of pork! If you want to go, please avoid lightning. xhs is full of support. At this price, you can even go to a Michelin restaurant! Although I posted xhs, I’m afraid some people won’t see it, so I’ll leave a comment here to avoid lightning!

Ate at Wong Delicious Asia today, I had a meal here at the previous Seefood Chinese restaurant about 20-25 years ago. The restaurant is very spacious and you can also sit outside. The menu (digital) is quite extensive, there is also dim sum, or various specialties from Shanghai, Sichuan or Cantonese. First I had a wonton soup, a great tasting broth with 3 scampi, some vegetables and mushrooms. The wontons were filled with 🐷 very tasty! As the main course the 61, pork 🐖 fried twice with cabbage, bamboo, peppers and spring onions, in a garlic sauce that tasted incredibly good, a pleasure ♥! The service was very friendly and attentive! I probably have to go there often because there are so many beautiful dishes. An absolute recommendation to eat there!

The food is too expensive. The rice for the dish is charged extra, the children's menu is almost inedible, and some of the nuggets are burnt. My 6-year-old son is just full from the portion of the dish and I have to order extra rice for him, which costs 2.40, which is a disgrace. When we pay, the waiter doesn't give us an invoice; an invoice is only quickly created on the computer when we ask. super strange.

The boss was very kind. He gave me super delicious fried spring rolls and mung bean paste. The food was also very delicious. In the end, all the CDs were given. On the recommendation of a very good friend, we made our way to the “Wong Delicious” restaurant after a visit to Hamburg and were warmly welcomed. The ambience is just cozy, clean and with pop house music it's a really nice place. The service was truly excellent throughout the evening. And not to mention the food was excellent. I have never eaten such good Asian cuisine before. We become regulars.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to in the Hamburg/Norderstedt area in recent years.

I spontaneously had dinner here with my father. When I initially asked whether we could take our dog in, the manager of the house responded very positively and answered my question in the affirmative. The food was very, very tasty! We highly recommend H7 for chicken lovers. The service was excellent. Super friendly waiters and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Even our dog got a few treats. We are very excited about our experience at Wong. We will definitely come back and can fully recommend this restaurant!
