It looks unusually little like China from the outside but the food is good and plentiful at the buffet 👍😎

5 1/2 of us were there for the family buffet with live cooking on a Sunday. My father made a reservation and the staff prepared a high chair, cake fork and teaspoon for my daughter (now 9 months old). I find it very thoughtful that even the little ones are being considered! The buffet ranges from sushi to duck, just about everything. For children who don't like Chinese cuisine (yet), there are fries and chicken nuggets. An employee at the buffet drapes the food there with each handle so that it always looks good. The food itself tastes wonderful and fresh, and of course you can prepare your own plate thanks to the buffet. The plates are available preheated or cold, as you wish. The live cooking was also very good, the ingredients for your own dish are also available, raw of course. Vegetables, fruit and dessert are also available. The dessert is more for the customers (food of the gods, small puffs). There are even many different types of ice cream there. We enjoyed everything. After every trip to the buffet you have to take a new plate, I think for hygiene reasons. Price-performance ratio is great. Changing table and high chairs available.

Food was warmed up from lunch. The waitress walks around with a face without a smile as if she wants to say "can't you eat somewhere else, I don't feel like it today". This was a rehearsal dinner for us, a shame, we ordered for 16 people.

To the reaction from owner v.05/24: Very unprofessional response to my review! 1. He doesn't even address why the regular buffet becomes more expensive WITHOUT COMMENT if you don't order a drink! This does not comply with the catering law!!! 2. On the one hand, he thinks he knows that we are regular customers and supposedly knows exactly where we were sitting, on the other hand, he complains that we don't openly announce our names! What now?? 3. What a lie he tells even with the water is unbelievable!! There We can only wish him a speedy recovery, he apparently loves to fantasize! 4. All the best, just ridiculous, unprofessional reaction to truths! Shame on you!!!!!! In advance: I had to change my rating several times so that it could be approved! Terrible experience.We felt it unbelievably terrible!!!!NOW again. 1. Lunch buffet should generally cost € 11.90 according to the telephone message + displays. 2. If you don't order a drink, you have to pay €12.90. But there is no information about this! 3. The infusion = just hot water, which the tea drinker had ordered for the leftover bag, was also charged separately! Impossible, as a surprise. Nowhere do you have to pay anything for the infusion! Already here and without any information about it 4. Those stale tubs with less than 2 servings are either dried out or cold. 5. The alleged tiramisu is inedible and dried out 6.Tip: wait until the end of the buffet: about 30 minutes before the end, sticky, unclean 10-20l buckets are brought to the buffet and poured from the tubs into the buckets, but not as organic waste, but for the evening buffet. Because when we were setting up we saw the buckets that were being poured out of often enough... Typing makes me sick again!!! We had never experienced it quite so blatantly. We have been observing the decline and increasing tastelessness of the dishes for about two years. 7. I don't even want to report on the waitresses who have no facial expressions or are disrespectful. I'll never take part in it again if I leave my money for such outrageous service. Every time we thought that maybe they were just having a bad day, but this is certainly the case all the time+unacceptable!!!!!!!!It's a shame for this country of smiles+for all the Asian countries! There can be no question of selection at the lunch buffet. Even the tempura dough around the pineapple was centimeters thick, solid + hard like rubber. Not even the fried noodles are edible, disgusting... I don't even want to say more!

I can recommend the Chalon restaurant. Very good service and delicious food. Everything is freshly prepared and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

All you can eat for €20. There's nothing you can say. Once you can serve the buffet, but then you can also put together your own food, fish, meat and vegetables. There are also desserts and ice cream.

We like to go to the Mongolian buffet. The selection is large. With sushi, salad bar, dessert and many types of ice cream. Good price-performance ratio.

Nicht zu empfehlen Gibt viel bessere

I was satisfied with the food on offer, there are improvements in the sushi. The service could be a little more attentive and the atmosphere a little warmer. But I would go there again because the price/performance ratio is right.

Food: We were there on a Saturday shortly after opening and all chose the buffet, so all the dishes were filled accordingly. The selection of warm dishes was quite limited, I know more about that. The food itself had a good taste, the noodles were a bit weak. Unfortunately, I had to explain my unusual problems afterwards: stomach cramps, nausea and persistent toilet-tie ritis. Otherwise I have no problems with Chinese/Mongolian food, so I have to put it down to the quality. A pity! Therefore only 3/5 stars. Service: The absolute highlight of the evening, in a negative sense, was the service staff. We were served with a very untypical indifference and lack of emotion, so that in the end we didn't even feel comfortable as guests anymore. The service was also very taciturn and nothing was explained to us about what would happen after we sat down. In the end we wanted to pay by card and were rudely asked what we had. I know this procedure when the bill is split, but not when it is paid in one sum. We were then quickly left with the EC receipt in front of me. We tipped the staff as we were leaving, and suddenly there was our restaurant bill on the tray. Empty plates and ordered drinks were quickly taken care of, which we noticed. Therefore unfortunately 2/5 stars can be improved. Ambiance: The restaurant was always clean and the furnishings were functional. Nothing breathtaking, but still fitting. 4/5 stars Conclusion: If you can do without the friendly appearance of the service staff and also deal with the underwhelming quality of the food, the visit can be well worth it. But for me only crispbread and water. Overall rating therefore 3/5 stars

Great food, great ambience, normal prices - only the staff takes a bit of getting used to

Very pleasant atmosphere, we felt very comfortable. The service was excellent, very attentive, dishes cleared, drinks reordered quickly and smoothly. The food absolutely suited our taste, pleasant flavors, salt used tastefully and not overdoing it. Rust aroma from vegetables and meat creates the taste. Absolutely delicious food. Fresh, low in fat, healthy. Skillfully prepared. So of course I would like to come back. The visual impression is very pleasant: elegance without exaggeration, meticulously clean, pleasant temperature, all tables were set, the quite large restaurant appears very homely and personal thanks to clever room dividers. But: I had the impression that I was the center of attention as a guest - and unfortunately that meant I was in the middle of the way for the staff... The service at Chalon is a complete disaster: no teaspoon with the tea (which was also served overflowing); served very awkwardly; Serving cutlery completely floats in the food; Staff extremely distant, talking quickly and using almost incomprehensible language; The main focus of the restaurant is obviously the buffet: a menu card was only brought in after a second request - but there were 6 of us (after my third suggestion there was one (!) more), an explicitly vegetarian tofu dish was served with beef, etc. Luckily, our guests showed a sense of humor. However, I don't feel welcome. It's a shame for Chalon, because the food there is really excellent!

Great service! After a warm welcome, we were asked on our second visit whether we wanted the same seats as last time. I find it impressive because the restaurant is very large and has a correspondingly large number of guests. The food, in our case from the menu, was freshly prepared and was very tasty 😋 We will definitely go there very often

Sehr lecker, sehr nett und freundlich

Leider ist die Bedienung fast schon unfreundlich zu nennen und das essen war am Anfang vom Buffet kalt sollte man im Griff haben

Sehr schönes asiatisches Restaurant mit ausgesprochen freundlicher Bedienung. Das Buffet ist reichhaltig und wird laufend aufgefüllt. Ich kann das Restaurant empfehlen.

Ein schönes chinesisches Restaurant mit reichhaltigem Buffet zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Ein bisschen versteckt findet man das Restaurant im Adlerhorst. Von innen ist es viel ansprechender, als es von außen erscheint. Am Buffet findet man die üblichen Klassiker der chinesischen Küche. Alles sehr schmackhaft und eine Empfehlung wert.

Bei Bedarf: Buffet. Zusammen stellen des eigenen Geschmacks. Es ist nicht sehr groß aufgebaut, aber für jeden etwas dabei. Lechere Garnelen, Fisch, Fleisch, Gemüse etc, kann man zum brutzeln geben, wenn man es mag. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Gerne wieder

Ein sehr gutes und durchaus empfehlenswertes China Restaurant. Vor allem das abendliche Buffet ist definitiv von Preis und Leistung her zu empfehlen. Es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl von allen in einem China-Restaurant üblichen Speisen. Abgerundet wird es durch eine große Sushi-Auawahl und einem großen Nachtisch-Buffet. Wer gut und kostengünstig speisen möchte (gerade Familien) kommt hier definitiv auf seine Kosten!

Super Restaurant tolles Buffet nicht zu viel aber genug...

Essen vom Buffet, riesige Auswahl, geschmacklich könnte es allerdings etwas mehr Abwechslung geben, aber alles lecker. Man kann so oft nachfassen, wie man will. (Besser als zu viel nehmen und dann was liegenlassen). Alles milde gewürzt, also auch für Kinder gut geeignet. Wer es schärfer mag, kann am Tisch mit Sambal Olek nachwürzen. Es gibt auch Nachtisch. Und: so guten Espresso gibt es sonst nur in Italien! Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches Personal. Großer Raum, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, bequeme Stühle, unaufdringliche Musik. Alles in allem sehr angenehm. Preislich mehr als angemessen. Parkplätze vor dem Restaurant. Man kann den Betreibern nur wünschen, dass sie mehr Gäste haben.

Zum Mittagessen ist die Auswahl eher spartanisch und es entstand der Eindruck, dass Speisen vom Vortag genutzt wurden. Das ist in keiner Form verwerflich noch widerspricht es den Grundsätzen der HACCP. Und es ist besser, als es zu entsorgen. Zu sagen, es schmeckt nicht, ist nicht fair. Update nach einiger Zeit: Samstagmittag. Einige Tische sind besetzt. Ca 30% der Schalen mit Speisen sind gefüllt und werden häufig aufgefüllt. Geschmacklich ist es OK, qualitativ ist es nicht so supi.

Das Buffet ist für den Preis unglaublich gut, die Ästhetik schön und das Essen sehr schmackhaft und sattmachend.

War vor kurzem das erste mal hier. War sehr positiv überrascht. Hat uns gefallen. Insb dass man sich auch am buffet frisches Fleisch und zutaten holen kann, die dann live gebraten werden, ist cool. Nur das Sushi war eher durchschnittlich. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Leider sehr leer gewesen. Scheinbar ist die Lage suboptimal. Auch uns war gar nicht bewusst das hier ein Restaurant ist. Werden in Zukunft öfter mal kommen.

Unser Stammlokal für die ganze Familie. Seit vielen Jahren nun gehen wir dort regelmäßig essen. Sie haben dort mit Abstand das beste Buffet was wir bisher gegessen haben. A la Cart ist jedoch auch sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist super groß dort und so schön eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Der Service ist auch sehr nett, höflich und sehr bemüht. Tolles Restaurant! Top!

Mein Lieblings Restaurant , die Teller verschwinden wie durch Zauberhand das bekomme ich manchmal noch nicht mal mit , das personal Sehr nett immer

Naja was soll ich dazu sagen? Nix los gewesen , dementsprechend war das Buffet. Nicht viel und das was da war, war nicht mehr frisch, sah auch nicht mehr soo einladend aus. Wir kommen nicht wieder, schade...

Die Speisen beim Buffet sind sehr lecker,nur leider lauwarm! Die Bedienung sehr schnell,aber es könnte etwas freundlicher rüber kommen!

Man konnte das Essen essen. Ich bin aber bessere Buffets gewohnt. Bedienung war flott aber ein Lächeln hätte ihr gut gestanden. Die Einrichtungen fanden ich persönlich nicht gemütlich eher kühl eingerichtet.

Falls die Damen beim nächsten mal freundliche Gesichter machen ,bekommt der Service einen Stern dazu.

Wir waren Ostermontag dort und hatten das Buffet. Es war wie immer eine tolle und vielfältige Auswahl. Das Essen ist konstant lecker.

Die unter anderem zartesteste noch saftige und trotzdem knusprige Ente vom Buffett eines China Restaurants ,die ich seit langer Zeit genossen habe.

Alles war frisch und ordentlich angerichtet. Ich würde sagen, es war ein typisches Buffet mit mongolischem Grill.
