Wir kommen nicht wieder. Wir waren mit dem Essen gar nicht zufrieden. Der gebackene Fisch bestand aus sehr wenig Fisch, viel frittiertem Teig und noch mehr Öl. Die Süss-saure Soße dazu war mehr eine Konfitüre. Zuckersüß. Die erste Cola war warm und erst bei der zweiten wurde auf Bitten Eis hineingetan. Das Essen Nr. 55 bestand zu einem großen Teil aus hart gebackenen/gerösteten Peperonistücken. Darin das ebenfalls knusprig harte, zu stark gesalzenem Fleisch. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen.

Sehr gutes und schmackhaftes Essen. Auch von der Mittagstischkarte ist die Menge für uns immer absolut ausreichend.

Das Essen war insgesamt ok, wir sind bei asiatischen Gerichten, insbesondere bei Dumplings, sehr verwöhnt, sodass es uns geschmacklich nicht ganz überzeugen konnte. Hier gibt es andere Restaurants, die in diesem Bereich mehr bieten. Positiv hervorzuheben sind jedoch die freundliche Bedienung sowie die angenehme, einladende Atmosphäre.

Erstklassiges Ambiente und schmackhaftes Essen in ausreichenden Portionen sowie sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Ich kann Ming Dynastie Hamburg uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Authentische China-Restaurants gibt es leider nur wenige in Hamburg. Die meisten Restaurant bieten ja nur "deutsches Chinesisch" an, also viel Sauce, wenig Schärfe. Das ist hier zum Glück anders. Neben den vertrauten "deutschen chinesischen Gerichten" gibt es in der Karte auch die Spezialitäten. Und diese haben es teilweise geschmacklich in sich! Absolut empfehlenswert ist der Fisch nach Bauern Art mit extra viel Chili (Nr. 57). Das klingt erstmal nüchtern, aber es ist eine Geschmacksexplosion. Sehr scharf (muss man vertragen) aber auch sehr viel Aroma. Und es reicht wirklich für 2 Personen. Auch die Dim Sum sind sehr lecker. Die Ming Dynastie ist eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Sehr gutes authentisch Chinesisches Essen. Ihr müsst unbedingt Gerichte aus den Spezialitäten auswählen, ich kann sehr die Aubergine mit Hack im Tontopf und das Schweinefleisch nach Bauernart empfehlen (wer es schärfer mag). Die Ente MIT Knochen ist deutlich saftiger als bei anderen Chinesischen Restaurants. Es giebt aber auch die üblichen Bratnudeln und gepackenes Hühnchen, fals ihr die üblichen Speisen essen möchtet. Mein Tip: Lasst euch auf neue Gerichte aus den Spezialitäten ein. Die sind den Preis wert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Große Empfehlung meinerseits ^^

Fantastisches traditionelles chinesisches Essen! Ich habe in ganz Hamburg kein Restaurant gefunden, das so gut schmeckt oder dem Original aus China und Taiwan so nahe kommt. Es wird von einer chinesischen Familie geführt und bietet traditionelle Gerichte an, die man sonst nirgendwo findet. Etwas teurer, aber jeden Cent wert. Ich liebe dieses Restaurant! (Pluspunkt für die Parkplätze im Hinterhof)

Frisch zubereitete Speisen waren ein mega Geschmackserlebnis!!! Sehr freundliches Personal! Gern kommen wir wieder und lassen uns verwöhnen.

Wir waren lange Zeit gern hier zu Gast, werden nun aber fern bleiben, da uns der letzte Besuch extrem verärgert hat. Die Getränkepreise waren schon immer zu hoch aber jetzt sprengt es den Rahmen. Für 8,-€ bekomme ich nun nur noch die billigste Plörre Weissen Burgunder, der ungenießbar ist. Das 0,4l Bier wird nicht mal mehr bis zum Eichstrich gefüllt und kostet 6,50€. Ich esse dazu immer gern die Ente mit Knochen, wovon diesmal die Hälfte nur lauwarm war. Die Stammbedienung war so drauf, dass sie sich sogar beschwerte, als ich dann zuwenig Trinkgeld gegeben habe. Wenn wir uns dazu noch die kaputten und unbequemen Stühle anschauen, gibt's es für uns keinen Grund mehr, wiederzukommen. Einige Restaurants müssen sich wirklich nicht wundern, wenn die Gäste fern bleiben, was nichts damit zu tun hat, das ich kein Geld ausgeben will. Möchte aber auch ein Erlebnis und Genuss.

Super gutes Essen Wir waren mit 4 Leuten hier und haben alle unterschiedliche Gerichte gehabt. Ich war das erste mal in diesem Restaurant und sehr positiv überrascht. Es gibt hier die meist bekannten chinesischen Gerichte die man in Deutschland so kennt, aber auch ein paar authentische aus der chinesischen Region. Ich hatte zum Beispiel das gebratene Huhn nach chongpinger Art. Ok, ich muss zugeben, dass es nicht ganz meinen Geschmack getroffen hat, aber ich wurde vorher aufgeklärt und wollte es unbedingt mal probieren. Es war auch gut zubereitet. Vlt mir einfach zu unbekannt. Sonst hatten wir noch gebratenes Rindfleisch, ein weiteres Hähnchengericht und die geschmorte Auberginen. Die anderen Gerichte haben alle gut geschmeckt, aber die Aubergine war wirklich mega lecker. Die kann ich nur empfehlen. Unbedingt sogar. Der Service war gut und man hat uns alles erklärt und sich Zeit gelassen, was aber wohl damit zu tun hatte, das zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht viel los war. Trotzdem waren alle nett und freundlich. Das Ambiente ist so wie man es von den meisten chinesischen Restaurants kennt. Diese sind ja meist gleich eingerichtet, so empfand ich dieses auch. Es war aber alles sauber und es gibt auch einen Aussenbereich. Alles in allem hat uns allen dieser Besuch sehr gefallen. Die Menschen waren nett, es gab auch keine Probleme mit unserem Kinderwagen. Das Essen war gut und wir sind gut gesättigt nach Hause gefahren. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal wieder. kommen

Die Schweinsfüße waren nicht von Haaren befreit und strahlend weiß, ohne jegliche dunkelbraune Verfärbung. Das geschnittene Rindfleisch und die Kutteln in Chilisauce enthielten kein Chiliöl. Hoffentlich lag es nicht daran, dass der Koch im Urlaub war…

Wir hätten hier heute gerne zu Mittag gegessen. Da aber 2 Gäste mit kläffenden Hunden auch zu Gast waren sind wir nach der Bestellung sofort gegangen. Ich hatte um Ruhe gebeten, weil ich sinnloses Hundegebell gesundheitlich nicht toleriere, aber statt einer Entschuldigung der Hundesbesitzer wurde ich auch noch angepöbelt. Das Ambiente hat nur einen Stern, weil man wegen eines großen Mittelfußes unter dem Tisch nur 1 Bein darunter bekommt. Gerade und gesund sitzen schließt sich damit aus!

I had to wait a bit to order, even though it wasn't busy. People who came after me were served first. I was certainly not a regular, but the others probably were. The food was very tasty, though. The seats were a little worn. Still, it was a nice and clean restaurant.

The best Chinese restaurant I know! Authentic, friendly, delicious! Highly recommended: eggplant, duck on the bone, and dong po rou!

We were there with a larger group (adults and children). We didn't have a reservation, and the restaurant wasn't prepared for a large group. There were two children's menus, which unfortunately didn't offer much. The menu was extensive, but the selection was disappointing. I'm not a fan of sweet and sour dishes. There were no alternatives like peanut or coconut sauce. The food was cold when it arrived. The adults got their food earlier than the children. It took a long time to take our drink orders. However, the service was good. The restrooms were clean. A few high chairs for children were available. We cannot recommend the restaurant.

We had actually seen online on the website + Google ad that there was a buffet. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case in person; they only serve à la carte, but the Chinese food was excellent. The portions are great for the price. Particularly noteworthy was the Cantonese-style duck on the bone with a sweet and salty plum hoisin sauce. The duck was juicy, not overcooked, and a flavor explosion in the mouth. We also had a shrimp, squid, and vegetable dish with it, spice level 1, which was absolutely not spicy, even suitable for those sensitive to spices. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived very quickly. A little insider tip in Wandsbek.

The food was okay, but anyone expecting something special will be completely disappointed. Unfortunately, it's just run-of-the-mill fare with nothing special about it. The ambiance made you expect much more. The price is way too high for what you get.

My breath caught in my throat at the Ming Dynasty in Wandsbek. Decorated in a very Chinese style with super comfortable chairs and excellent green tea, Grandpa, the kids, and I had a lovely, cozy evening. Everything was solidly good and as expected. But don't trust the waiter or my dad; if they say it's not spicy 😂 Avoid the dishes with 🌶️🌶️🌶️ everything else is super delicious. Eggplant, for example. There's even parking for customers.

From the outside, the restaurant is reserved, you have to be careful that you don't accidentally end up in the much more conspicuous restaurant two doors away. In addition to all the hip Vietnamese shops, there are also the classic Chinese restaurants with their flair! This is one of them. You can also order authentic dishes. Otherwise, the menu is as familiar as it has been for decades, but varied and the levels of spiciness are adapted to the Northern European palate. The size of the dishes leaves nothing to be desired. The range of drinks is extensive. The staff is extremely polite. Expectations were fully met.

Traditional Chinese cuisine can be found on the menu in the “House Specialties” pages. The card is German + English. I asked the waitress for the chef's recommendation and specifically pointed out that I wanted an original Chinese meal. The waitress recommended the eggplant with minced meat (number 74 on the menu). It contains minced pork - really spicy. There was rice as a side dish. Clean place, friendly service. Strong recommendation!

This gets full marks. The food is incredibly delicious. It's always freshly prepared. It's brought to the table from a serving trolley. The waiter spoons some rice onto the plate and hands it to the guest. The prices are a bit on the high side, but the food is worth it. The service is very attentive and attentive to each guest. In addition to the classic Chinese dishes for non-Chinese people, there are a number of special traditional dishes that are very tasty and offer a very good change from the standard. The lady who served us was very funny and pleasantly surprised us with the food. The ambience, on the other hand, is disappointing, but that plays a minor role when it comes to the good dishes.

I ate "Chicken fried with chili "Chongqing style"/No. 59". We have been coming for decades and have always been very satisfied.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the receptionist at the nearby B+B Hotel. So we walked the 300 meters there and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The interior design had a typically Chinese touch, but wasn't overly kitschy. There are only plated meals, but there is a very large selection. We then decided on the Ming menu for 2 people. To make a long story short, it was plentiful and very tasty. And at a justifiable price. The service was very friendly and humorous, but never intrusive. We really loved the restaurant and would come back every time we were in the area again.

Excellent Chinese restaurant. The food is great and much more “authentic” than in the usual Chinese restaurants. That's why there are dishes that you can't find everywhere. The service is very nice and personable. Next to the Ming Dynasty in Berlin, one of my favorite restaurants in Germany to enjoy really good Chinese food.

I ordered tap water and was charged 1.50 euros per glass. I have never experienced anything like this in over five years in Germany. If there is a charge for this, I would have appreciated being informed of this in advance. The waitress seemed visibly dissatisfied when ordering the tap water, which spoiled my day a bit. But if you end up charging 3 euros for tap water, why do you make customers feel guilty about it? The food was also very salty, the rice was dry and not at all fresh. Finally, the waitress gave us a handwritten receipt, and as we left the restaurant we checked the menu board at the entrance again. We discovered that she had overcharged us 50 cents each for the beer - a total of 1 euro for two beers. Given the location and the facilities of the restaurant, we found the prices to be high anyway. These experiences in no way justify the price.

A wonderful meal with Peking duck in a beautiful atmosphere lies behind us. Everything was chicly presented, freshly prepared and extremely tasty. The service was very friendly and tried hard, every now and then there were waiting times that we would have liked to have been a little shorter. All in all we were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

We've been going there for 14 years now. We also took friends there who now eat there regularly. If we reserve a table by phone and say that we are family 1, they will immediately know that it is us. After all these years, due to the size of our family, we can no longer sit in our favorite spot in the corner by the window, but with the good food and service, that doesn't bother us. The sour spicy soup is heavenly just like the sweet and sour pork. You can actually enjoy every dish on the menu. I can recommend a visit to everyone!!!

The service staff was nice, although a bit overwhelmed. She initially brought the wrong drink and asked again about the order after she had already left. The food was so-so. The main courses were quite good, the dim sum unfortunately not so much. It was noticed that some of the dim sum were obviously not fresh but frozen. In my opinion, this in a restaurant and for a hefty price of around €7.50 for 4 pieces cannot be viewed positively. Unfortunately I wouldn't come back.

Nice atmosphere. The waitress, probably also the boss, was very nice. I had duck with 8 treasures. Personally, the duck wasn't crispy enough for me. The taste was ok. However, they didn't even ask if everything was okay. I know it differently in other restaurants. The duck cost 22.00 euros. The Alster 4 euros. Upon request, rice was served again without charge. Parking is possible behind the house. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Children are welcome. Personally, the guest room is too big for me. If all the tables are occupied, it will certainly be very loud. There are no room dividers.

We went shopping at the Vinh-Loi Asian market. Afterwards we got hungry. That was our bad luck because we ended up in the Ming Dynasty restaurant. It's unassuming from the outside, but the ambience inside the restaurant is tasteful and beautiful. However, the chairs are very squat and with these tables (table leg large and in the middle) it is a bit difficult to accommodate your feet. The staff is attentive and friendly. We had 2x lunch with Peking soup and 2 small cokes for an impressive €31.00. I think that's pretty expensive for a lunch menu. The Peking soup looked good, but unfortunately it was extremely salty. The Sichuan style beef was totally soggy and unappetizing. Unfortunately, that's what it tasted like. The duck with Chinese vegetables was also quite unappetizing. The duck meat was good though. The 2nd star is for the ambience. How the top ratings come about is a mystery to me. Conclusion: not recommended

Zwei Tage davor hatten wir uns für ein anderes Restaurant in der Nähe entschieden. Das war voll in der Ming Dynastie war fast alles frei. Das ist oft ein Zeichen was Besser ist. Doch zwei Tage danach sehen wir das anders. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich und mein Essen gut bis sehr gut. Auch meiner Frau hat bis auf die Soße geschmeckt. Fakt ich esse gern Ente und zwischen der Ente an den zwei Tagen davor und der Ente kross hier lagen Welten. Die Ente hier war zwar auch etwas zu lange im Ofen aber immer mocht zart! Dazu das Gemüse gut gegart, einfach sehr gut. Ich kann dieses Restaurant guten Gewissen empfehlen auch wenn es vielleicht nicht soo hipp ist, wie das Andere

Essen war lecker, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und hatte auch tatsächlich von einem Gericht abgeraten und stattdessen ein anderes empfohlen. Fand ich persönlich gut und ist mir so auch noch nirgends passiert...die Karte ist toll...wer dort nichts findet, dem kann auch nicht geholfen werden.

Positiv: Die Pekingsuppe war sehr fein, das Rindfleisch und die Soße waren auch sehr gut. Das Essen ist nicht zu künstlich gesüßt, die schwarze Soße ist nicht nur reine Sojasoße sonder auch leicht würzig. Es wurde auch gefragt ob scharf oder nicht, hab leicht scharf bestellt, die Suppe war perfekt das Rindfleich bestelle ich das nächstemal scharf.. Negativ: Auf den Stühlen sitz man komisch da das Polster stark federt. Fazit: Ist ein guter Chinese wo man bedenkenlos essen gehen kann, muss aber auch sagen das es nicht der beste ist wo ich jemals war, aber richtig gute China Restaurants sind aber auch sehr selten. Vielleicht sind die Traditionellen Maultschen hier der Geheimtipp, müssen sie selbst ausprobieren.

Das Essen ist klasse, die Vorsuppe top und die Bedienung ist einfach super nett. Also da gehe ich immer wieder gerne hin.

Ich komme dahin wegen authentischen chinesischen Essen in Hamburg wieder und wieder. Preis-Leistung Verhältnis ist gut und das Essen schmeckt super. Das Restaurant mit Außenplätzen kann man auch im Sommer gerne sitzen. Ich empfehle persönlich Kung Pao Chicken und gebraten Reis mit Eier und Gemüse

Taste is below average. Even the rice is poor quality. Quantity is less, service is bad, price his high, long waiting time. If you ask for a child seat-just go and get yourself, won’t expect them to bring for you. The eating bowl is ridiculously small. I am really wondering how the restaurant survived this long.
