Great coffee, nice service. Price (unfortunately) usual on Kantstraße. However, charging 50 cents extra for milk alternatives in a store that specializes in healthy and plant-based food is cheeky. Why?

A very cute little café with a large selection and very friendly service. We were here for breakfast yesterday and today and can highly recommend the café. Everything is very tasty and individual requests are no problem

I had an appointment with a friend for breakfast here on Saturday at 10 a.m. We were there shortly after 10 a.m. and were initially the only guests. We placed our order at the counter and received the drinks and food relatively quickly. In addition to the vegan avocado bread, we ordered a vegan spelled waffle. Everything to share. The waffle was extremely hard and more like a cookie than a waffle. When we asked whether that had to be the case, a new waffle was immediately prepared for us. As we waited for the second waffle, one of the chefs brought us a second round of drinks to the table (the same ones we had previously ordered) and said that we would start over. We weren't expecting that at all and found it extremely sweet and thoughtful. The second waffle was also super tasty and we were extremely happy. We can only recommend the restaurant, especially because of the good service and hospitality. Thank you very much, we had a really great breakfast!

We ordered a veal schnitzel with fries which came out of the deep fryer and was tough and fatty. The fries were very light and over salted. After complaining, we were offered an espresso which we politely declined. Afterwards a piece of apple strudel with vanilla sauce which was not yet fully baked at the bottom. We don't want to talk about the outrageous prices there. A whopping €61 for 2 schnitzels and apple strudel. Every snack bar delivers better quality for half the price! The ambience has seen better days, as has the entire KaDeWe.

Excellent, authentic food, but at ridiculous prices. Quality has its price, a ceviche for just under 20 euros should have more than a few thinly sliced ​​pieces of fish. Between the two of you, you can spend 120 euros or more until you're full. It's not worth it, especially since the station hall atmosphere isn't exactly inviting.

We had to wait for 30 minutes until we received our food. Even though there were simple things to cook. Our coffee was cold when arrived. Staff seems friendly but seems like they are not very organized… To be honest is super overpriced. 12,50€ for an avocado toast that it wasn’t even that big, you can find better prices around the area.

Loved it here! The space is really big, and they even have a separate section for people with laptops. The prices are reasonable, and you can get unlimited free water, which is always a big plus for me. If it were closer to my house, I’d probably go all the time!

After a long time I wanted to have breakfast here again. I ordered Eggs Benedict. It came in a very manageable portion. Sauce cold. Egg cold. Everything cold. I told the waiter, who immediately brushed off the drama, but started a discussion with the kitchen. Then - surprisingly quickly, impossibly quickly - the replacement arrived. Sauce cold, egg cold, but the bacon was hot, but unfortunately black, totally burnt. The bacon is charged at €4. An absolute disgrace. You don't have to go there anymore.

The portion of gnocchi with calamari with saffron foam was plentiful and the plate was beautifully prepared. However, the beautiful appearance missed the taste. The gnocchi were on average too firm and lacked flavor. The bite of the calamari was too firm for me, and the taste of the saffron foam was rather reserved. There is clearly still room for improvement here! The dish costs €9.50 for guests, but the customer has to get more. The staff is very polite and committed, so 4 stars are completely fine. We haven't been here for at least 3 years. Before it was neater there (flower pots etc) and service staff took care of clearing and wiping the tables. Unfortunately not this time. In order to have some space, we put the used dishes together and, like on the other tables, they stayed there for over an hour. Even Ben Becker, who was sitting in the café/restaurant with service next door, had to wait 30 minutes until a service finally arrived! My 3 stars are actually too many, because the coffee for 3 EUR was far too expensive for the fact that you had to pick it up yourself.

I used to be a regular and am happy that the quality is still as perfect as it was back then. Super friendly staff, cozy typical Berlin atmosphere and the truffle scrambled eggs are to die for 🫠
