Blumental in Berlin

Coffee was pretty good, same with the pancakes. The savory dishes from the breakfast menu were not a pleasure for tongue. The salt distribution on the Vienna toast was terrible, and the butter free of any taste. The eggs were also not salted. The turkish eggs were absolutely vile. Trying to mix so many too many flavors to achive and authentic taste and still missing it completely is insane. Dont reccomend getting them 10000%. Location is nice though with lot of daylight. Staff was ok.

We stepped into IKEA’s fever dream of childhood—primary colors in geometric rebellion, shapes arranged by someone who’d never met an actual child. The kind of space that screams “design concept” in a language only architecture students understand. I ordered an Aperol Sunset. Spritz’s more ambitious cousin, blushing with grapefruit and Aperol, promising golden hour in a glass. It never came. Forty-five minutes dissolved in this Scandinavian playpen while my throat became a desert. The self-serve water cooler stood empty—a monument to negligence. I approached the bar, parched and reasonable. He stood there, eyebrows notched like tallies of his own cleverness, and when I asked about my drink, about water, about the basic architecture of hospitality, he gifted me his favorite word: “Babes.” “No, babes. No, babes you haven’t. It hasn’t been 45 minutes, babes.” Each “babes” a small death. Condescension in diminutive form, weaponized sweetness from a man performing confidence he hadn’t earned. Time became his to narrate, my thirst his to dismiss. I found our waiter. Showed him the receipt—timestamped proof, paper evidence of wrongness. He disappeared into the geometric chaos. Eventually some woman materialized at our table with my sunset. No acknowledgment from the bar. Just Aperol and grapefruit, bitter in more ways than one. The food, when it finally arrived, was actually good. Which somehow made it worse. Competence in the kitchen, theater at the bar. One understood hospitality. The other understood only performance. Berlin has earned its reputation for service with an edge, but this wasn’t edge. This was just a man with notched eyebrows calling me “babes” while being provably, receipted-ly, absolutely wrong. This workspace-coffee place is big and has a great menu, I recommend it to go have some nice coffee and cake while working on your laptop with friends together !

Great for co-working, seeing a friend or have a sip of fancy cocktails. the interior is super cute and vibrant- always a great stay at Blumental! Plus the staff is very charming

Blumental is a really large breakfast/brunch place. Plenty of seats to socialize or work independently. I enjoyed their Amore Ajvar dish but their chai latte tasted too much like plain cow’s milk. I also didn’t enjoy their carrot cake but their apple walnut cake is really nice. The staff are super friendly and speak both English and German. Overall, a nice place you can grab a bite with friends.

Perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. Reservations are a must on weekends. Dog-friendly with super friendly service. Everything is vegan (but eggs are available as an option) and gluten-free options are also available :) You can get delicious sourdough dishes, pancakes, overnight oats, or shakshuka. Everything is very creative and tasty. We've been here countless times since it opened.

This place is wonderful with absolutely amazing service- attentive when necessary but no hovering or pressure. Place is quite big and airy but feels cozy once you’re sat down. Beautiful place and will return.

A fantastic breakfast and lunch café with an open kitchen and super friendly service. You're shown to your table. We've been here three times now, twice without a reservation and once with. Last time, they couldn't serve all the tables due to illness, and we had to leave. I would recommend making a reservation, which is super easy via their website. The ambiance with the couch and plants is great, and the menu is extensive and a bit unusual. I think it's fantastic. The menu varies slightly depending on the season. Great! The all-time favorite pistachio pancake was superb. Today I tried the Wax Benedict. Fantastic food! We'll definitely come back again and again, even though we live further away!

Very nice place, very nice and friendly service, lovely food, and extremely dog friendly! We went on a Sunday, the place was full although it’s pretty big. Thankfully we had booked a table. Although the place was full and service was extremely busy, they were all very sweet and did their best to support everyone. We visited with our dog who was allowed to sit on the sofa with us. & we really like the Mediterranean/middle eastern fusion flavours. Highly recommended !

Today we had hummus sabich – a delicious combination of hummus, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, olive oil, chickpea crunch, tahini, yogurt, a soft-boiled organic egg, and fresh flatbread. The combination of ingredients was simply brilliant. The hummus sabich, as well as the other dishes, tasted fantastic, and we highly recommend this restaurant.

I really like Blumental! It combines a normal coffee space with a coworking space, which works super well! I’ve been coming here a lot to do my admin work and have not been disappointed! Prices are very reasonable and the food & drinks are always very delicious! Defo recommend!

It’s a really great place — perfect both for working on your laptop and for a relaxed brunch. There’s a separate area for laptops, with a couple of spots set on a small raised platform where you can sit and work as if on a carpet — it creates a very cozy, laid-back vibe. The main area is full of greenery, with a bright, minimalist interior. The drinks are excellent — and not just the coffee. The dirty chai latte, for example, is one of the best I’ve had in Berlin: beautifully balanced in flavor. The same goes for the food I’ve tried here — every dish feels thoughtfully composed and full of nuance.

It gets incredibly crowded on weekends, but the food is always delicious and fresh. Reservations are recommended! Since the noise level is quite high, I wouldn't recommend coming in large groups. It's ideal for 2-3 people, though.

The atmosphere is always something special. I love the decor—it's colorful, bright, open, and green. It's often crowded and quite noisy on weekends, but the staff is always attentive and friendly. Whether it's the weekend or a weekday, the food and drinks have always been delicious. On weekdays, orders arrive incredibly fast; when it's busy, you might have to wait a bit, but it's within reason. Today, I had to place my order and pay using a QR code. Unfortunately, I encountered two problems. 1. You can only pay via Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Mastercard. 2. My order didn't register with the server even though the payment was processed. When I mentioned this to the staff, they responded immediately, apologized, and my order was delivered very quickly. It was a technical error, which can happen, and they handled it very well. I'll definitely be back!

Amazing place, happy to discover it, I now in my top of favorite coffees in the world ✨🌎 the food was amazing, we order hummus and the pistachio pancakes, we also loved the lavender tea and the pumpkins late. But the place is awesome!

I visited this place for a birthday brunch with friends, hoping to enjoy the atmosphere and food, but unfortunately, we left quite disappointed. The concept of ordering and paying directly via phone is innovative, but in practice, it didn’t work effectively. We placed our food orders within short intervals of 2–5 minutes, yet the dishes arrived more than 20 minutes apart. The time difference between the first and last dish served was around 45 minutes, which meant we couldn’t enjoy our meal together. By the time everyone’s food arrived, much of it was cold. The drinks were served quickly, but they, too, were cold and not very enjoyable. Given that this happened on a Tuesday not even during the usual busy weekend brunch hours it was especially disappointing. Another point worth mentioning is that the tip is paid upfront when ordering. Unfortunately, this meant we had already tipped before realizing that the service would be below expectations. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and despite the nice concept, the poor timing and coordination made it unenjoyable. Regrettably, I won’t be returning.

Best place weve been to in Berlin. Fantastic food and service

You could say I had a mixed feeling about visiting the restaurant. We stood in line for 25 minutes, only to be told when it was our turn that they were only accepting reservations that day (30% of the seats were empty). "We want to stay in the flow," was their phrasing. The people in front of us were at least fobbed off with a voucher, while we were rudely sent away without a voucher or anything similar. We were perplexed because the queue was piling up with unsuspecting people. They also didn't tip us off that there were still reservations available for lunch (we figured that out ourselves and came back two hours later). Overall, though, we perceived the service as unprofessional, lacking in foresight, and lacking in customer service.

Incredibly friendly and attentive staff and a truly comfortable atmosphere. The food was truly delicious and arrived quickly. We were very satisfied and will be back.

I actually spent about six hours here, from breakfast to lunch, and from there, working. There's a dedicated co-working space and good Wi-Fi. The food was fantastic (unusually) and served quickly. The atmosphere is really great! I'd describe it as a lively café in the front, and quiet in the back for working on your laptop. Take a look and leave the staff a smile 😉 PS: No cash, card only.

A really cute café! I came here to use the co-working space and can highly recommend it. It's pleasantly quiet, there are plenty of seats, power outlets, and great service. The cappuccino and lemonades taste fantastic, and oat milk is available at no extra charge. I'll definitely be back!! :)

A nice place with good food, but there's one thing that really annoys me. You order your food via a QR code and can then pay with Apple Pay. The app then suggests a 15% tip. Hello?! We don't live in the US, yes. And for good reason. By the time I pay, I haven't had a second of contact with the food or service staff. In fact, it's cheeky to ask for a 15% tip for a semi-self-service concept, where you'd think it would save money. The usual tip in Germany is 5-10%, not 10-15%. I'll give 10% if the service is good. Breakfast cost me on the rather high end, around €20 per person anyway... Inflation wasn't just in the restaurant industry.

They are selling ‘Turkish eggs’ and no idea how its supposed to be served. It needs to be poached eggs and not parboiled. When I complained they didnt even take me seriously or reduced the price.
