Incredible brunch! The pink pancakes were delicious and beautiful. Also got the Turkish Eggs which were absolutely amazing, would recommend. The staff was really accommodating and sweet as well. 💜

Blumental was simply delicious! As soon as you walk in, you can tell the love and care goes into the cooking. The portions are generous and absolutely fair value for money—you really get a lot! I especially recommend the Hummus Sebich. Anyone who loves good, creative cuisine will be more than happy here. I'll definitely be back!

The location is super cool; despite its size, the acoustics are pleasant. The drinks and food selection is excellent; everyone will find something to their liking. The food is beautifully presented, but the portions are rather small. But the taste is top-notch!

Friendly service, open atmosphere. Only downside is the lack of ventilation, but you can personally address that by sitting nearer to the door.

One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. The food is always impeccable and delicious. The service is either excellent or a bit slow, depending on the staff. The only negative point: I'm not entirely clear about switching between self-service via the QR code at the table or ordering from the server, as well as switching between free seating and assigned seating. 🥲 Edit (05/30/25): Unfortunately, I have to correct my review. Until recently, everything was absolutely perfect. But now, several times, I've only had hard-boiled, cold eggs on my bread instead of soft-boiled eggs. That might happen once in a while, but regularly? The price for the Wax Benedict is therefore no longer justified. And the wait for the food has always been 45 minutes on my last visits. That's too long 😢

We went there on a Saturday morning with a group of six people and made a reservation in advance. The food and drink selection was good, and overall, we enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, nicely decorated, clean, with cool lighting, and a good crowd. The only negative thing we noticed was the wait time. We waited at least half an hour for our order to be taken. Drinks arrived relatively quickly, but the food took a while longer. This was probably due to the rush hour, but it could have been better. In total, we spent about two hours there, which fit our schedule.

Big generous area to study/work - weekdays only. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Once it’s used to be a great place with delicious beautiful dishes with an artistic touch and interesting tastes. I loved it and used to go at least once a week since its opening . Quality was very high. I guess now the chef is changed and we had a very disappointing lunch. Nothing to compare with the quality and esthetic of the past and the worst - we have issues with digesting this lunch as if we ate some cheap kebab for 5 eur and not paid 10 times more. This quality is definitely not worth the price, to my opinion.

The Matcha Raspberry was fruity and creamy and just the right amount of sweet, and the pistachio pancakes were fluffy and delicious. A real treat—I'll be back!

This has been one of my favorite spots for brunch, and I’ve recommended it to so many people over the years. One of the main reasons I liked coming here was because you could quietly use your laptop in the back area, which made it a great place to get a bit of work done while having a bite. But today was extremely disappointing. I came in about 1.5 hours before closing, and the place was completely empty. I politely asked if we could use our laptops in a quiet corner in the back—just like I’ve done many times before. The staff immediately said no, with no explanation whatsoever, and their tone was unnecessarily rude. It was baffling given how empty the place was and how far from closing time we still were. There was no sense of hospitality, flexibility, or even basic courtesy. I left feeling really let down. After all the times I’ve supported this place and recommended it to others, this kind of treatment makes me seriously reconsider ever coming back.

Omg, that was the best restaurant experience we've ever had! The waitress Laura was so great—you get a sense of humor and just feel at home. We even spoke briefly with the barista Eva at the end—her drinks are worth every visit. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want a run-of-the-mill experience 🤍 We'd be happy to go back!

Great coworking space in the heart of Berlin. Fast wifi, good coffee and table service. Basically everything you need for a full day of WFH focus. I love that they have a separate space for co-working so you are not bothered by the noise of others at any point of the day.

Really great brunch spot! The menu is super diverse and full of interesting options both for food and drinks. I especially loved that you can even choose the coffee beans for your brew, which is such a nice touch. They get their sourdough bread from Zeit für Brot and it’s absolutely delicious. We ordered the Topi de Padrón and Wax Benedict, and added an extra egg, bread, hummus, and BBQ mushrooms on the side. Everything was fresh and so flavorful! The place was quite busy (it was a Saturday), so service was slow…. It is on the pricier side, but the quality makes it worth it. Highly recommend for a colorful and tasty brunch experience.

We had a brunch reservation for a birthday here. We arrived on time, were seated and 15min later we were first told that food was going to take an hour and several ingredients (eggs, tofu etc. had run out because their delivery didn’t come that day) and the kitchen was totally backed up. A couple of minutes later they came back and said there was not going to be any food and if I wanted my flat white (which I had already ordered and paid for) in a to go cup. No proper apologies were issued. So sadly I cannot comment on the food and what I saw did look delicious. However, reflecting what other commentators have said on here, while not entirely their fault stuff like this seems to be a reoccurring thing and Blumenthal appears not to be a reliable place to reserve a table at if you have a special occasion to celebrate or depend on the meal actually taking place.

Sometimes appearances are deceiving. The Blumenthal in Berlin advertises a modern concept – ordering via QR code, stylish interior, hip vibe. What initially leaves a good impression unfortunately quickly turns out to be a complete failure. Despite the restaurant being only half full, we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks. My coffee arrived almost cold - lukewarm would have been flattering. The juices were acceptable, but that was the only bright spot in this sad breakfast. The highlight, however, was that our food order (four times with eggs) was placed directly with the drinks using the QR code. And then it was time to wait. An hour, then an hour and a half. When the food finally arrived, we were told there was no egg available - without any warning. Instead, tofu was slapped onto our plates without comment, as if it were an equivalent substitute. After an hour and a half of waiting, it was a real disgrace. Not to mention the service: the exaggeratedly hipster-like appearance does not conceal any organization, no customer orientation and no sense of hospitality. The fact that we weren't even informed before our breakfast was completely changed is an indictment. Conclusion: If you feel like cold coffee, endless waiting and outrageous service, this is the place for you. I can only strongly advise against everyone else. Blumenthal Berlin is the epitome of beautiful appearances - but the content is a disaster.
