Even if the service sometimes takes a little while, this is a great pub right on the Kudamm. We had the pork knuckle and couldn't complain. Some tourists also find their way here. We'd be happy to go back.

Really nice food! I had Wiener Schnitzel with french fries and mushroom sauce, and a couple of beers 🥰 The ambience in the restaurant is great, indicating that it is a quite old place with a lot of tradition. The waiters were really attentive and nice, but they could have cleaned the table a little bit better. All in all, a great experience. I'll gladly come back.

Spaten Münchner Helles was super nice

We sat outside on a late summer evening. The steak and baked potatoes, as well as the Wiener Schnitzel with fried potatoes and Leberkäse (liver sausage) were very tasty, but we returned the Kaiserschmarrn dessert because it wasn't really that good... all in all, a wonderful evening... we'd gladly return.

The Xantener Eck is my favorite restaurant in Berlin! The ribs, in particular, are simply unbeatable. Super tender, juicy, and the meat practically falls off the bone. It would be great if ribs were always on the menu.

At first glance, it looks like it might just be a hotel spot, but don’t let that fool you...Xantener Eck is an absolutely charming, traditional German restaurant and Bierhaus that feels authentic from the moment you step inside. I spotted this restaurant as I was walking by, and made it a point to return before the end of my trip. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that classic old-world style you want when dining in Berlin. The food is excellent—I’d especially recommend starting with one of the soups and then going for the sausage variety plate, which was absolutely amazing. Generous portions, great flavors! This place is a gem and you really can’t go wrong here. I loved it so much that I came back again on my next trip to Berlin. That should tell you everything!

A wonderful Berlin restaurant. Has been operating in this place for over 100 (!) years. Excellent menu of traditional German cuisine, special Berlin recipes + 12 types of beer! There is also fish, shrimp, salads, appetizers and something vegetarian. In general, for every taste. Large portions. Definitely recommend!

Recently visited Xantener Eck on a trip to Berlin, it was so good we ate here three days in a row. The food is absolutely delicious and the plates are huge - you absolutely won’t be disappointed here. My favourite was the Schnitzel with pepper sauce - served with chips and delicious green beans. Wonderfully decorated and impeccable service from all the staff - thank you

By far the best restaurant in Berlin. Excellent food and hospitable staff. The only place where you can eat a normal Wienerschnitzel, and where the food is adjusted to normal European standards, and not where you can only eat German cuisine which is very specific. The portions are normal size and a person can eat their fill, and the restaurant also has a nice terrace. If I'm in Berlin again, I will almost exclusively eat here. Highly recommended!

Lunch is sometimes great, sometimes a flop. The lunch menu is always posted late; sometimes the wrong menu is posted, like the asparagus menu instead of the chanterelle mushroom menu. Friendliness isn't a big deal here (even on the phone)! Customers seem to be just a nuisance!

Despite a wide selection of traditional cuisine, we were served quickly at Xantener Eck. We thoroughly enjoyed the Berlin pork knuckle and the Alsatian tarte flambée.

Attentive, friendly staff. Hot food served all day. I had pork knuckle with sauerkraut and potatoes. It was so much I had trouble finishing it. It's nice to find a restaurant that still serves traditional local dishes.

I definitely recommend this place, it is a very nice place

A really nice place to have a beer. The ambience is good and the interior decoration is wonderful. Unfortunately my goulash was so salty it was impossible to eat. When I told the waitress, she just shrugged and moved on. So, in short I would recommend it for a quick beer, but I would avoid the food.

My girlfriend and I, along with my parents, really enjoyed this restaurant. The food is tasty and the staff is great. Will definitely continue to come here going forward.

I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant. The value for money is 100% spot on, plus the friendly service and the food are delicious and plentiful. A large selection of beers and other drinks. I've been eating there regularly for the past 15 years.

Unfortunately, not anymore. The restaurant was good for decades. Apparently, there's a new owner or a new chef. Eight other regular customers I know share the same opinion. What a shame.

Hotelgast, polizeiliche Absperrung, Geldtransport-Überfall, Frust, kein funktionierender Nahverkehr und dann... ein toll funktionierendes Lokal. Klasse Bier und Riesenkohlroulade - Glück pur. Die Bedienung dazu äußerst freundlich. Mein AC/DC - Ausklang war gelungen.

Best veal liver I've ever eaten.

There was a problem with the food. That can happen from time to time, and at the time I didn't think it was a big deal, even if it wasn't pleasant. At first, they handled my complaint well and brought me a new meal instead. They should have just left it at that, because then I would have left the restaurant satisfied. But then they gave me a very questionable explanation, which I had to contradict because it couldn't be true. The waiter then became rude and suddenly indirectly suggested that I was the problem, since no other guest had complained. I had witnesses, and you could smell "the problem" right away. That's very unpleasant as a guest. But then, instead of apologizing, shifting the problem onto the guest is a disgrace. I've decided never to go here again. It's a shame, because the atmosphere was quite nice, and so was the waitress. I also assume this is an isolated incident and something accidentally slipped into the pan that didn't belong there. We were a very large group, and in the stress of the situation, things like this can happen. But when something like this happens, you should handle it differently. The lovely waitress deserves 5 stars, and the waiter, unfortunately, deserves zero. So, a total of only 2. The second meal, by the way, tasted good. Therefore, this is only the average rating.

A well thought out visit that met expectations in terms of food. The service and the atmosphere was also pleasant and uncomplicated. All in all, a good place to eat for lovers of good (German) food.

The potato soup for €7.50 was really not good and way overpriced. The vegetables were cooked until smooth with a hand blender. The cabbage roll was okay, but not particularly good, but better than the soup. The decor is nice, the atmosphere is very touristy, but that's normal given the location.

The outdoor seating was lively. One problem is that if you don’t like the smell of cigarettes, there is not a place to get away from them as both inside and outside smells. Maybe it’s because we came towards the end of the restaurant closing, (we had less choices as the kitchen was closing) but the food tasted a little stale. The sauces were very average as well. One thing I liked was that our waiter was nice and recommended me a beer that was sweet as I am not a huge beer drinker.

Friendly Berlin restaurant with a solid menu, very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere.

We called there spontaneously on Friday evening and were able to get in with six people within a few minutes. It was probably lucky, though, because the place was full, and we were delighted. The man who served us was very accommodating, friendly, and funny, but not too pushy. Simply fantastic service. Top-notch! The pub was exactly what I imagined it would be like in Berlin: quaint and typically Berlin. I liked it a lot. The music was good and the food delicious! We were very satisfied; I would come back anytime if we're ever in Berlin again 😁

We ate here before the Linkin Park concert. The place is fantastic, the staff is very friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. They also have a good beer selection. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely come back. There are still many interesting dishes on the menu.

We haven't had such good, affordable food in a long time. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, the service staff is fantastic, and the chef knows his craft. You'd have to come to Berlin to experience such a wonderful evening again. We'll definitely be back sometime! Keep it up!

I was born in Germany and lived there in my younger years, I missed it alot, especially the food. I went here for a meal and I was NOT disappointed, it tasted fantastic ! The waitress was also so nice. Perfect for us !

This is where Berliners and anyone who feels like a Berliner eats. The restaurant has a long family history. The ladies are the waiters are fast, attentive and friendly. Order a local beer and some of the local dishes like a schnitzel and you are a Berliner! The restaurant has a pleasant terrace.

Typical German Food, kind of designed for tourists. Food was good, and portions were large but not very flavorful.

This wonderful restaurant is tucked away near Adenauer Platz in Charlottenburg. Whether you simply want to enjoy one of the many draft beers or enjoy the classics of Berlin cuisine, you're in good hands here. The service is very friendly and fast. The prices for draft beer are pleasantly reasonable. The food was delicious, although for my taste, the asparagus could have been cooked a minute longer.

Traditional place, the restaurant was an old brewery. The dishes are typical. The pork knuckle is excellent. The place is a family succession that dates back to 1907. It is well worth a visit. To be on the safe side, book in advance.

A very cozy atmospheric place where you can eat and drink. We took a meat plate and their own beer - everything was very tasty. The staff was pleasant, the service was wonderful. The price tag is acceptable and it will definitely be cheaper than in the Turkish restaurant opposite :) (to be fair, the Turkish restaurant opposite is also very good)

Delicious real food! Stuff is sweet, warm and very helpful to tourists. Menu offerings with lower price on weekdays from 12:00 to 16:00, great way to try some dishes. Also the menu is offered in various languages if you dont speak German. Various beers with very normal to low prices for a restaurant. Excellent experience for traditional food in a traditional environment. Will visit again for sure!
