Great restaurant on Thorstrasse. High quality food Small card - but this is just right 👍🏻 We always like to come back. The roast beef with coriander as a starter is highly recommended and hard to beat at just under €10 per portion. The main course was “Chicken in Love” Great curry spiciness 🚀

If you want to experience a meal that interprets Chinese cuisine in a modern way, this is the right place for you. The rush hour dish was brilliant, a mix of Chinese cuisine with nuances of rosemary from Mediterranean cuisine. Simply brilliant. It won't be my last visit here.

The staff was amazingly friendly and very competent. He was alone with little help and rocked it. The food was really good as well. I can recommend the Toca Menu! Delicious!

A great place and delicious food, I liked wine and duck, and the rest of the dishes. Sweet, so -so, for an amateur, but once it’s interesting to try. Without alcohol for three, approximately 80-100 came out without wine. One glass of the best wine as it is written - 8-9 euros, I think. Overall everyone was great. I recommend! And the service is very pleasant.

I'm very sad that takeaways are now being sold in mega plastic packaging. Just bad. Delicious. We won't be ordering anything until the stupid plastic packaging is a thing of the past!

Fast and friendly service. Choice of food is okay. The food itself was good - nothing more, nothing less. The facility is very dark. Even though it looks modern, it is rather suboptimal because it is too dark. The prices are normal to slightly high. Overall a good restaurant.

Very good Chinese fusion cuisine with very friendly service in a cool location. Top price-performance ratio. Shouldn't be missed. If the somewhat uncomfortable stools are replaced with chairs, everything will be fine.

I was meeting up with old friends and this restaurant was recommended to me. The ambience is modern and is a matter of taste. The food, however, was not a matter of taste. It was praised by all five people sitting at the table and everyone left the restaurant happy and satisfied. This was also due to good and attentive service. The payment process where you see everything on one screen and can choose what you have eaten and then pay is also very commendable!

A wonderful experience! The service was so friendly and attentive, recommending things and explaining to us before each course what we were looking at and how best to eat it. Almost like being in a gourmet restaurant! The ambience is beautiful too!

You have to know: reservations are definitely recommended, because there are not many seats, the seating is very cramped - you have to be able to cope with that, and it is relatively dark (but with light fields on the tables). If you don't have any problems with that, it's a top address: food is always excellent at remarkably moderate prices; Service is always super friendly and competent.

It's been around for a long time, about 20 years, previously exceptional food and good portions, then continued good food and smaller and smaller portions, then smaller portions with food. It's a shame now it's a former scene shop with a lot of people who don't know Kietz.

Wir sind spontan im Restaurant vorbei. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Dunkel mit Marmortischen und Spotlights auf den Tischen. Das Essen war wirklich toll, der Service sehe freundlich und die Preise angemessen. Wenn wir wieder in Berlin sind, gehen wir bestimmt wieder hierhin!

The restaurant is situated at quit a busy street but that does not bother the experience at the terrace. A very relaxed ambience makes it more enjoyable. Special mention for the waiter who is very friendly, helpful and patient and served us excellently. The food was great, we would especially recommend the honey beef dish with sweet potato. We loved it so much that we came back the next day! Affordable prices, so definitely recommend!!!

Chinese cuisine meets modern needs. Every starter and main course is an adventure. It was really tasty, I can recommend it. Don't let the names put you off. Deep throught avocado was super tasty, gladly again!

The place looks cool and vibey, but the food is really mediocre - some dishes completely flavorless and some oversalted. Tastes nothing like Asian food really. The service was good, except the fact that they refuse to bring tap water, so you're forced to order €6 bottles.

Nice menu and service. The food didn't completely blow me away. As a starter there was salmon tartare. I really like beetroot, but found that the pickled beetroot didn't really go well with the somewhat bland tartare. This also appeared again later in two of the main courses, somehow not quite as appropriate. Unfortunately, the duck I had was just okay. Still, four well-intentioned stars.

I had the fried prawns with wasabi-mayo and wrapped in potato chips, and the salmon tartar. Nicely prepared and great flavor.

The food was Michelin star, absolutely gorgeous and tasty. And the host was so lovely abd welcoming. Will highly recommend 👌🏾

Food was excellent and very authentic Asian, with a small fusion twist. Ordered the scrabble patrick (highly recommended), zha jian mian (loved it), rush hour, and tofu mapo, all lovely. Good friendly service. Cozy ambiance, a tad dark but good for couples.

The service on site was very friendly and accommodating. But the food wasn't good, neither fresh, healthy nor tasty. The sauces don't seem to be homemade, the shrimp starter was loaded with some kind of syrup and the crackers were also awkward to eat. I didn't tolerate something in it well. I informed the restaurant via email, but there was no response. I only give the food one star because unfortunately I found it bad.

Great store, a safe bank for years!

Two stars because my two other friends, meat-eater, enjoyed the food. My brother and I are vegan and vegetarian and I have to say, especially for the starters, there‘s little options. HOWEVER, it does not state to be a vegan restaurant so that’s not really a thing I’m criticising, just to inform other vegans. The food though - the soup was way too intensive. I felt like I just ate a bottle of soy sauce with oil. And the vegan duck did taste horrible, very chemical. The rice was yum, some of the vegetables too, some where overcooked. The lemonade was suuuper yummy, very sweet (how I like it) might not be something for everyone. One of my friends who came with me told me the ice tea she drank there was LOVELY and not too sweet. I tried it and even though it was not very sweet, it was very delicious. The toilets are super cool, I have to say. Might be good to make people with epilepsy know, that it’s a very flashy place. I personally loved the style. The food was very underwhelming though, so only 2 stars.

Ambiente ist ganz nett, Bedienung ist freundlich aber essen ist echt nichts besonderes. Jeder mit ein wenig Leidenschaft zum kochen bekommt die Gerichte zuhause besser hin. Sehr Geschmacklos, jedes asiatische Restaurant um die Ecke , kann mit dem hier locker konkurrieren.

Buen ambiente y servicio. La comida es buena, las entradas las han achiquitado un poco pero no los culpo… la inflación. Siguen manejando casi los mismos precios. Lugar ideal para compartir con amigo o tener una cena con la pareja.

Wannabe Fine Dining für Show Offs. "Fake it till you make it" ist hier das Motto. Günstiges Vietnamesisches Essen. Unterdurchschnittlich in Qualität und Geschmack. Jeder "Asiate an der Ecke" bietet ein ähnliches Menü in besserer Qualität, zu gleichen Preisen. Zumindest wird man hier also nicht ausgeraubt. Das Fleisch ist sehr zäh, das Essen wenig bis gar nicht gewürzt und die Sauce viel zu dünn. Von Geschmack kann man hier nicht sprechen. Die Tische sind sehr klein und stehen eng zusammen. Es ist dementsprechend sehr laut und die wenigen Servicekräfte haben Schwierigkeiten den Überblick zu behalten. Dieses Restaurant will Personen gefallen, die nach außen hin so wirken wollen, als hätten sie etwas im Leben erreicht, ohne auch nur den Hauch einer Ahnung davon zu haben, was Fine Dining ist oder wie es schmeckt. Die einzige Toilette ist regelmäßig verstopft und Leute mit Klaustrophobie oder Epilepsie sollten diese lieber vollständig meiden. Ich kann es niemandem empfehlen, der wirklich lecker essen will. Blender, die schicke Fotos für Instagram brauchen, werden sich hier wohl fühlen.

It was difficult to decide what to eat because everything on the menu sounds amazing! I had the D.T. avocado 🥑 for start and the Szechuan chicken for main. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious, and the service was great 🙏 very attentive and sweet. Would recommend ✨

Duck appetizer was disappointing. Duck was too tough! fatty and chewy… Shrimp dish with sweet potato and rice was a bizarre combination. Two carbs on same plate? Lamb dish was superb, peanut chicken was okay, all dishes were too sweet for my taste. Great service, cool environment

Gibt's seit ewig und drei Tagen und das zurecht: Wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Ambiente drinnen hui, außen geht so: Was halt eine hässliche, viel befahrenen Straße so her gibt. (Dafür ist an Sommerabend angenehm luftig.)

The food was super delicious. The restaurant has a fancy toilet. The thing that I didn't like at all was the chairs they are not very comfortable.

Pretty small place and usually quite packed. Makes it then also rather crowded and you are sitting very close to other tables/customers. The food was well prepared and beautifully set but unfortunately the taste is missing the best edge. Unser Lieblingsrestaurant in Mitte! Im Toca werden wir immer von einem super freundlichen Team begrüßt. Innendrin ist es sehr stylisch, muckelig und geschäftig. Das Essen ist sehr authentisch, wir lieben die Vorspeisen und es ist jedes Mal perfekt zubereitet. Ein absoluter Tipp für jeden Fan der Fusion Küche in ungezwungenem Ambiente.

Muss man schon mögen, wenn der Nachbartisch bei Dir mitsitzt. Essen lecker. Toilette kann ich gar nicht in Worte fassen. Ist schon Dill wie man auf so kleinen Raum so eine Atmosphäre hinbekommt. Kann man mal machen ohne Enttäuscht zu sein, aber Stammlokal eher nicht.

Eins der besten Lokale die ich jemals besucht habe. Essen ist qualitativ sowie geschmacklich äußerst hochwertig und das zum kleinen Preis. Der Service super freundlich (aber nicht aufdringlich) und sehr aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist natürlich der Knaller. Ich war hier vor 7 Jahren das erste Mal und ich bin nach wie vor hellauf begeistert. Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Berlinbesuch auf jeden Fall wiee3r herkommen! So wie jedes Mal ;-)

The food was very delicious, drinks were also nice (vino as well, that doesn't happen too often). The place is nice but tiny so don't forget to reserve a table 😉

Das Restaurant ist wirklich klein und die Tische stehen sehr eng - dafür gibt es einen Stern Abzug. Auch die Hocker sind nicht sehr bequem und fallen leicht um. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen ist gut, die Karte kreativ und das Design in der Toilette wahrscheinlich das Highlight

Ein wirklich außergewöhnliches Restaurant mit superleckerem Essen

Coole Location mit ziemlich gutem Essen. Innen leider recht eng und unbequeme Hocker, aber Geschmack und Qualität der originellen Speisen machen das wieder wett. Keine Enttäuschung von den Vorspeisen bis zum Dessert, allerdings empfiehlt sich sich auch das "volle Programm", da die einzelnen Gänge recht klein sind. Die Weine "good", "better" und "best" werden vom Service erläutert. Mein weißer "best" war ein sehr ansprechender Riesling, wohingegen die weiße "better"-Cuvée nicht so toll war.

Ordered from this place twice, food was ok, but when I tried to do that again it seemed like the restaurant does not know how to deal with Wolt. They accepted scheduled order but when it was 30 minutes before delivery time just cancelled it. Horrible service.

Übersichtliche Speisekarte. Genau richtig und für jeden was dabei. Die WanTans haben mich allerdings nicht überzeugt. Netter Service und tolle Ambiente. Allerdings sehr klein und eng. In einer größeren Gruppe würde ich hier nicht hingehen.

Anlässlich meines Geburtstages war ich mit meinen Eltern im Toca Rouge, da ich auf einigen Portalen sehr gute Kritiken gelesen hatte (Kategorie Chinesische Küche) und die Preise wirklich moderat sind. Die Bedienung war überaus sympathisch, freundlich und aufmerksam, und das Essen ein echter Genuss! Selbst meinem Papa, der neuen Aromen und Speisen eher skeptisch gegenüber steht, hat es ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Das will etwas heißen ;) Als wir schon bezahlen wollten, wurde ich noch mit einem kleinen Geburtstagsgruß aus der Küche überrascht: himmlisch knusprige Bananen mit säuerlicher Creme auf Tarte. Äußerst lecker! Ich kann das Restaurant somit wärmstens empfehlen und komme bestimmt wieder :)

The food was fantastic, the place was cosy and with a great atmosphere. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive without it feeling forced. This is truly a gem worth visiting when in Berlin, and this is definitely not my last visit to Toca Rouge.
