Great market hall with flair and very good food

Very iconic location. Great street food. (Every Thursday). Prices are reasonable. The food is exceptionally delicious.

A must visit of visiting Berlin! So many wonderful food options!

Atmosphere strange thanks to the caretaker

Beautiful market, very clean and well-kept. It has various and very strong food options. You must try the burgers from the K&K canteen.

A pretty local market with fresh food, flowers, bread, and sausages! I truly enjoyed my time looking around trying little bit of everything! Locals also came for lunch having wine, burgers, and other food. There is a little seating area by the bread store ◡̈

It has the feel of a street food court. There are many delicious stalls. The only drawback is that years ago, it seemed as if there were more stalls and therefore more variety.

I really like Markthalle 9. I've been coming here every now and then for years. There are all sorts of different types of food, especially on Thursdays during Street Food Day, which is a welcome change—especially on cold or wet days. Sironi is also great! :-) Delicious pizza and focaccia

Well.. you can find quite a lot there

It's a very nice place, with great food from various countries, all served in a finger/fast food style. Of course, it's a bit more expensive than a street food stand, but it's also delicious. Plenty of seating where you can enjoy a drink from the various wine stands or breweries. Great!

Top experience. We'll be back on our next visit to Berlin.

First place I tried after I landed, and it was a Thursday. So was a must. Glad I went, so much choice and I had the Garlic wantons , but the hit was T he kimchi chicken bao

Overpriced prices everywhere turiabzocke

Good place for a snack. Lots of nice stalls for shopping.

We were here on a Thursday around 6 p.m. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely come back and try more.

Super cool place to try food at the different stalls that change regularly

Average, expensive food. A hall that has similar ones in almost every district of Budapest. What is worth mentioning is the many BIO foods. The area is trendy, although you cry when you see the many graffiti, even though it is the trademark of the area.

Not a market hall as you're used to. It has little to do with a market hall.

This was a big market. It looks like the one in SP. But it's smaller. It's worth visiting and eating something from the region.

Nice place, a covered market where you can buy products, sit down for an aperitif, have a drink and eat from the street food stalls.

Hipster meeting place - with the world's best burger grill

We were there on a Thursday evening. I highly recommend it. The prices are reasonable. The portions are decent. It's a great place to try lots of new things.

I tried the pulled pork burger at Big Stuff smoked BBQ: the flavor was really well-balanced – juicy, flavorful, with a subtle sweetness from the apple. The homemade lemonade was also impressive: fresh, not too sweet, very pleasant.

It is very crowded, but the goods are unusual

Really recommendable to try something new, but it's not really a comfortable place to eat, as it's very busy

Never tired of visiting this place. A lot of wonderful varieties for all sorts of food and there's always something new you can try, alongside the regulars. Definitely worth a visit or ten!

The street food stall offered a good selection of food and drinks. It was quite crowded, but we quickly got our hands on everything. The photo booth takes great pictures for €4. Dogs aren't allowed here, which is understandable given the crowds.

I like Markthalle 9. It’s great for snacking and groceries. Some of the shops however are quite pricey. Others are ok. It get’s really busy on Thursday night when they have Streetfood Thursday. But it’s definitely a good night to come if you are not sure what you feel like eating.

Street food festival is super awesome!

You have to come here for lunch. An old, renovated building is immaculate, and the food is varied and high-quality. A wider variety of ethnic dishes.

A great market hall. Stalls with a good selection, some of which are really reasonable prices. The best part is the wide selection of international food. The Mexican tacos are especially recommended (only available on Thursdays).

As always, a great stay, plenty of good drinks and great food. Something for everyone.

If you’re in the area and looking for a great place to grab a snack or enjoy a relaxed lunch, there are some really nice options around. And whatever you do, make sure to stop by Rosa Canina — they serve what I honestly think is the best ice cream in Berlin. Their flavors are fresh, creative, and made with high-quality ingredients. It’s the perfect treat, whether you’re just taking a break or finishing off a meal. Highly recommend!

The many market stalls make it varied but also very crowded.

Awesome, "Mampfen im Mai" (Munch in May), a fantastic event. We were here for at least 2-3 hours. The hall and all the booths were packed, and there were more than enough people in front of the entrances. The hall itself was impressive, as were the many high-quality offerings.

I had the manti and some fresh juice, but there’s tons of options in here. If you’re visiting Berlin or just wanna have more than 1 different item to eat, this is the place to go. There were tacos, pasta, bao/dumplings, dessert, beer, wine and many more!

Lively, lots of hustle and bustle, but lots of good food, market stalls and initiatives

"Must-eat-in-May" was the theme for Ascension Day. But there was also beer and wine... delicious. Beautiful ambiance, international cuisine, and very friendly people, both in front of and behind the bar. Otherwise, people of all ages and nationalities were out and about together. Highly recommended 😃

I've had one of the best hot dogs here in a long time. I also love Sironi's breads, and I also love Kumpel and Keule. I find some things expensive, some even very expensive. But I haven't had any truly bad experiences.

A good activity for rainy days, especially the street food market on Thursdays. Prices are naturally a bit higher, though, and the venue was quite packed.

The market hall is highly recommended, there is everything you need here on a Saturday. Coffee, cakes, breads, fruit, vegetables, juices, wine, champagne, pasta, oysters, fish, meat, liver casseroles and and and👌👌👌😋😋😋😋

A real hidden gem in Berlin. If you want some food, a glass (or two!) of wine or a tasty beer then this is the place for you. The different restaurants cover everything from German food to Asian, French, Italian and Middle Eastern. There are several wine places that serve by the glass and also a small bar in the corner from a local brewery. There are tables to sit at, and even a play area for kids. A really nice vibe and much better than some of the more tourist heavy areas of Berlin.

Incredible food hall stuffed full of all cuisines on a Thursday Nighy Food Hall evening. There’s lots of Asian offerings, but also plenty of Italian, Moroccan and European. With tightly packed tables of diners, many spilling out on the street, the overall vibe and feel is lovely. We had some of the nicest food of our times in Berlin here and everything is incredibly fresh.

Absolutely brilliant place to get some good exotic food for a reasonable price!

Very small and unspectacular. I've seen nicer market halls, for example in Düsseldorf or Frankfurt/Main.

Whether you prefer traditional meat or vegetarian or vegan, there's something for everyone, whether it's food or drinks, main courses or dessert. There's even a DM store there. There are plenty of tables and seating. I would visit again.

As a Berliner, I wanted to see it. I don't think it's that great. Everything is extremely overpriced, and the taste isn't what I'd want to go back to.

Nice place with quite a warm atmosphere. You can find various options for food, drinks, and even dessert! 🍪 I liked it.

On a Saturday, it's far too crowded for relaxing or spontaneous shopping. It's been hyped up too much online. We also understand the protests of the residents; the street in front of the market hall is closed to accommodate even more stalls that are already far too close together, and most residents don't shop there anyway. In our view, the market hall concept is misguided.

Nice selection of food. We tried the Currant Strudel from one of the bakery stands and it was excellent.

I love Markthalle Neun, whether simply strolling through the aisles with their various stalls or treating myself to something from the diverse culinary offerings at lunchtime...everything's a bit more expensive than elsewhere, but you pay for the atmosphere. A visit is always worth it!

The xiao long bau stand is a must try. Quite higher price but tastes great.

We were there on Saturday and were thrilled 😃 great stalls with interesting food, flowers, plants, household goods and wines and delicious food!

Great for snacking, especially on rainy days and in groups, because there's sure to be something for everyone. However, you should be willing to try new things!

It was a nice food hall, but it was a bit overpriced and had a rather hipster feel. There's even a DM supermarket in the middle of the hall. Everything is clean and hygienic.

Nice market although quite small and very expensive.

It would be a bit monotonous if it wasn't a snack day, but it's enough for a meal if you stay there regularly on weekdays.

A market that is open every Thursday, with food options from all over the world! And some places sell drinks like a glass of wine, by the glass, which I found very interesting. The place gets very busy and the highlight is this traditional German dish, a pasta dish, Spätzle, with a sauce made from aged Emmenthal cheese from local producers, served with black pepper, chives and crisp onions. DIVINE, or as the chef himself said, the best I would ever taste.

The food and beer at Markthalle Neun were truly delicious! There's a great selection of different stalls with fresh and lovingly prepared dishes. It was quite crowded, but the lively atmosphere is simply part of the experience and didn't spoil the experience. I'd love to come back :)

The market hall offers many different national and international street food stalls that are sold at overpriced prices. Unfortunately, the food at the stalls was mostly a disappointment. These include in particular the Mexican taco stand (the meat was completely dry and the dough was very flimsy), the empanada stand (the empanada was too runny on the inside, the meat was not well fried) and the stand with the chili wontons (too oily and all you could taste was the flabby, soft dough). The following stalls are recommended: Tibetan dumpling stall (fried momos), the German baked pork stall and the natural wine stall. All in all, you should take a look at the market hall yourself on a Thursday afternoon.
