30 years ago it was better than today

We went on Monday when 2/3 stalls were shut but can see that we missed out! We did have a delicious beer (best I had in Berlin) from the independent brewery in there tho! Wish we’d gone on another day!

A very international market offering a number of succulent culinary offerings. An ideal place for a quick lunch, and not too expensive! Italian, Turkish, French... yum!

I loved this place! You can find food for all tastes and all the market looks so cute. I tried the marzipan ice cream at Rosa Canina, they have nice flavors and you can choose from different sizes. I got the smallest cup. Also, went to Mani in Pasta to try their fresh pasta made by Italians with their amazing sauces! You will not regret eating here. All prices are pretty affordable and you can eat from different stalls.

I wouldn't waste my valuable time as a tourist in Berlin in this expensive place, which is nothing different from other places, crowded, and has few services. A hamburger with ham and cheese was €16.50, plus you had to buy a drink. Unless you want to buy certain gourmet foods, I wouldn't eat here. It's hard to find a place to sit down and eat.

Les Halles offers a wide selection of meals and drinks. The items I tried were of very good quality. Restrooms are also available on site.

Nice food vendors and wine. Good to have different choices and very relaxed atmosphere.

It's changed a lot compared to the past. Fewer shops, but better quality, but also higher prices. It seems a bit deserted during the day during the week. It's nice that there's a marble run for children.

The Saturday market is a dream in good weather. Day drinking, shopping, or just strolling. There's something for everyone. Dishes like the one in the photo are available at the street food market on Thursdays or Saturdays. Be sure to try it. It's worth it!

The price of food here is overpriced. This place is just for tourism.

We were there in the afternoon, and many of the stalls weren't open yet. The food was delicious but very expensive.

Loads of fun... went on the Thursday night as its full of street food vendors. Great choice of food and beer for sensible prices, although a little packed and very hot in there! (I mean, it was August, so I can't blame them for that)

Love this place! Always great food, amazing atmosphere, and lots of variety. Perfect spot to hang out, grab something tasty, and enjoy the vibe.

A market that's not that big, but it has good options. The problem is that on very hot days, it's like an oven inside since there's no ventilation.

The hall operators should really be punished. I feel sorry for the stallholders who have their business there. Are they selling anything? The whole atmosphere actually puts you off. Dirty, without charm, without innovation, without investment in maintenance and renovation, etc. We've been there and out again. Dear hall operators, go on a field trip and look at other market halls in other big cities. Then you can learn something.

We went on a Tuesday morning, great spread and selections of food. I loved my burger, aged beef. Yummy! Also tried the dumplings! And some curry wurst.

If you need a cover from rain, but to put something in your belly, with reasonable prices, and clean and not fishy smell, this is a great optiom

Great place, nice organized and always full. But only limited food, not soooo much as I tought and very crowded at sitting. Maybe is just organised poor, lot of food doesnt even exist there so need to eat elsewhere. But suit urself 😎

It's always a pleasure to be there. A top-notch selection of diverse dishes, some of which are truly delicious. You can also find more unusual dishes that you don't often find elsewhere.

What a experience! We ate a lot and we Tried everything! The market is clean and very well organized, the food is good as the service. The quality of food makes the diffrence. The area is very diverse. P.s. pay attention outside the nearest underground station! There's a lot of drug addicts they stop you to consume and sell.. One of our friends step into a syringe

Nice enclosed market with food from different countries. Try to avoid busy times because lines get long and seating is very limited.

Many shops are closed at 3, I went there on a Monday.

The food quality is very high, however, on the day we visited, which was a Monday, there were few options. The Italian pasta is very good, with generous portions and all the flavor of Italy. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth it. If you're just going for lunch, I'd recommend staying in more central areas.

For the few days or hours that someone has to explore the city, I think there are more and better places to go.

Wonderful find in the middle of houses, Great variety very friendly people and outstanding choice of cuisine.

A very extensive culinary offering – including many dishes from all corners of the world. Food prices are sometimes a bit more expensive than usual, but at least the quality is good. A negative aspect is the scattered and insufficient seating for eating. A central area with tables and chairs would have been nicer.

A good variety of street food, just a fifteen-minute walk from the East Side Gallery. Suitable for all tastes and budgets.

At Markthalle Neun, I enjoyed a very good cappuccino made with cow's milk at the Marktcafé. I particularly liked the fact that they ask you directly which milk you prefer. The Markthalle itself is a true street food hotspot in Berlin, where you can discover everything from international specialties to regional products. If you love meat, you should definitely try the burger from Kumpel & Keule – juicy, freshly prepared, and one of the best in the city. It's definitely worth a visit!

I don't understand the hype surrounding this market hall. It's completely overcrowded, with people literally piling up at the few seats. The food may be good and the selection plentiful, but some of the prices are quite steep (e.g., a small piece of bachlava for a whopping €2.50; burgers start at €12). As a Berliner, I won't be visiting this place again.

Nice for eating on the spot, but nothing special. It's fine for a quick stop if you're in the area, but it's not worth the drive across town. Not a good place for grocery shopping (too expensive).

Nice place to visit and have food and a beer or wine

It offers the opportunity to sample dishes from around the world and eat them at tables set up inside the market, thus providing the opportunity to eat a variety of foods within the same group. Prices are average. The vintage passport photo booth near the bathroom is very nice.

Definitely a must-do in Berlin! Different cultures, different impressions, and definitely great food. If you really want to try everything, you'll want to bring a bit more money. There are definitely no seats; while there are some inside, most people sit on the steps outside or on the street, which I find really unfortunate.

Overpriced and disgusting—typical berlin, the non-foodie place. There we had the worst fish&chips on earth and the most expensive, tiniest oysters.

It's a great place to try a variety of delicacies. It's just a shame there aren't many seats! Perhaps people aren't just there to eat, but because it's so cozy; there's no room for anything. It's worth a visit, but it's not exactly cheap!

An absolute must-see on any Berlin food tour! The selection of delicacies is huge – there's something for everyone here. The prices are fair, especially considering the large portions. This time we shared a truffle pasta for €12: the plate was more than full and a taste sensation. I come here almost every time I'm in Berlin – and I will continue to do so.

No comparison to the Stuttgart market hall...but we were late...you should be there early

The place is in a remote area, but it's very nice inside, with a wide variety of cuisines to try. It's a shame you can't bring your dog inside, and we had to take turns outside to get something to eat.

A huge food market, with a lot of food. Different cuisines and vendors. The vendors keep changing per day. We visited on a saturday, but was told the market is more lively on thursday. Must try is the ice cream and desserts.

No, we were last there about 6 years ago and were absolutely thrilled. Now we've been back and were completely disappointed. Completely exorbitant prices, limited selection, and you almost always have to speak English. It's become a pure tourist hotspot.

Everything a market hall needs, brilliant.

It's fun, and the food and drinks are great. It gets a bit hot in the summer, and some of the stalls are quite overpriced. Highlights: spaetzle, wine shop, and cannoli.

A marketplace in Berlin where you can find fresh, high-quality food and sample international cuisine in its small restaurants. It's become one of my favorite places in Berlin.

A really cool place where, in addition to seeing interesting products, you can sample cuisine from many regions. The weekend we were there, it was very busy, but that wasn't surprising. I recommend this place to all culinary enthusiasts. The prices are affordable, and the food is delicious 👍🇩🇪🍻🥂🍷
