A market hall in the heart of Kreuzberg. You can find just about any kind of specialty and fine food there. A visit is definitely worth it. The relaxed atmosphere and diverse clientele practically invite you to visit.

We truly enjoyed this experience, variety of options from different countries. It was lovely.

Smaller than expected, but still quite pretty.

Cool place. Large selection of delicacies. Maybe the portions are too large to try several dishes. And there are plenty of food lovers. Very crowded.

Unfortunately, at 12 o'clock the market hall was not yet ready for use, and many stalls were still closed. What a pity.

If you have time, definitely visit this local market. It's a great way to spend some time.

Pure tourist rip-off. Not recommended. Has nothing to do with Kreuzberg. They're evicting poor people, homeless people, from the hall; I've seen it myself several times. The "Kiezbox," which was set up in the hall with subsidies and supposedly filled with food for the needy, makes no sense there because those who need it most don't have access to it. Shame on you!

Lots of hustle and bustle...lots of places to eat...unusual food...a bit dark and not enough seating...as a market hall should be...very good meat counter...street food on Thursdays...it's expensive but special...if you like to eat between the fruit and vegetables and the meat counter...you'll love it.

Came there on Thursday, as they’re supposed to have a variety of vendors, but it felt like half of them were closed. I tried the beef noodles from Chen’s Kitchen (I may be mistaken, but they were labeled as noodles) - they were very tasty, generously portioned and a fair price. Would eat them again!

This covered market, opened in 1891, spans several courtyards in Kreuzberg. It offers street food from all over the world. It's open until 10:00 PM on Thursday evenings. It's very characteristic and definitely worth a visit.

This is a great place to visit and get food or see what's on. The area feels a little unsafe, so I would not recommend walking here. Be aware that it can get very hot and busy inside, and seating is limited.

Die Markthalle Neun hat etwas Besonderes: Es handelt sich um eine überdachte Markthalle, die noch echtes Kiezleben widerspiegelt und gleichzeitig eine große Vielfalt an Möglichkeiten bereithält. Es gibt Essen für jeden Geschmack, eine entspannte Atmosphäre und interessante Stände – ohne dass es sich wie eine weitere Touristenattraktion anfühlt. Von hausgemachtem Brot, Spezialitäten verschiedener Nationen, Naturweinen, Süßes… ein Ort zum Stöbern, Probieren und Verweilen. Und mittendrin das Aupa Che gestoßen – ein Stand, der mich wirklich überrascht hat. Dort gibt es Empanadas, die mit viel Liebe und Details zubereitet werden. Der Teig ist hausgemacht und richtig lecker, die Füllungen sind geschmackvoll, und das Team ist herzlich und engagiert. Man spürt sofort, das Engagement und die Euphorie für ihr Produkt, welches mein kulinarisches Highlight war. Bei einem Marktbesuch also unbedingt probieren.

Markthalle Neun - worth a visit... and my insider tip: Aupa Che Markthalle Neun has something special: It's a covered market hall that still reflects authentic local life while offering a wide variety of options. There's food for every taste, a relaxed atmosphere, and interesting stalls – without feeling like just another tourist attraction. From homemade bread, specialties from different nations, natural wines, and sweets… a place to browse, sample, and linger. And right in the middle of it all, I stumbled upon Aupa Che – a stall that truly surprised me. They serve empanadas prepared with love and detail. The dough is homemade and truly delicious, the fillings are flavorful, and the team is warm and dedicated. You immediately feel the dedication and enthusiasm for their product, which was my culinary highlight. So, be sure to try it when you visit the market.

Especially for game night on the first Monday of the month! Social gathering without consumption!

Awesome place with super cool stalls and even cooler people. I especially liked the many seating options and little nooks where you can retreat and have some privacy. The restrooms were clean, and you could pay by card everywhere.

Food market with a wide range of international dishes, available for takeaway or dine-in. From momos, dahl, pizza, dumplings, börek, burgers, to baklava, cakes, and ice cream. Drinks are also available.

A wonderful, restored market hall. Seating is limited on Thursdays. It's okay for a stroll. Prices are quite inflated for small portions. We paid €9 for some rice with a really delicious (vegetable) sauce at the African restaurant. After three spoonfuls, the plate was empty. Summarizing: delicious, but pack plenty of cash.

A very nice market. It's small but has everything. The prices are very affordable and the atmosphere is pleasant. There are tables where you can sit and eat. The restrooms are also in good condition. I went on a weekday at noon, and it was crowded, but not overwhelming. I don't know what it's like on weekends. It's a nice walk, I recommend it. There are also several food places on the same block. It's in a typical Berlin neighborhood; it can also be a chance to get away from the tourist crowds and experience how the city's residents live.

Very touristy and relatively expensive. But there are delicious things to eat. Big Stuff Barbecue, for example, is highly recommended…

Go in, spend 12x more money than you've planned, because it's good! accept card and cash. Walk out happy with bags packed with high quality food. Or stay for hours with your friends in the Bars and Restaurants inside. Has something for everybody.

Wow, the oysters are really delicious. The dumplings are just okay, but the oysters and pasta are really delicious.

We were there for the first time. I'd heard there's a street food market every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. We had to try it. We browsed through various stalls; it was simply delicious, and there was such a wide selection. You can pay for everything with a card. I thought the prices were a bit high for the small portions, but I guess you have to expect that in this area. We'll definitely come back; we haven't tried everything yet.

A pretty local market with fresh food, flowers, bread, and sausages! I truly enjoyed my time looking around trying little bit of everything! Locals also came for lunch having wine, burgers, and other food. There is a little seating area by the bread store ◡̈

It has the feel of a street food court. There are many delicious stalls. The only drawback is that years ago, it seemed as if there were more stalls and therefore more variety.

I really like Markthalle 9. I've been coming here every now and then for years. There are all sorts of different types of food, especially on Thursdays during Street Food Day, which is a welcome change—especially on cold or wet days. Sironi is also great! :-) Delicious pizza and focaccia

It's a very nice place, with great food from various countries, all served in a finger/fast food style. Of course, it's a bit more expensive than a street food stand, but it's also delicious. Plenty of seating where you can enjoy a drink from the various wine stands or breweries. Great!

First place I tried after I landed, and it was a Thursday. So was a must. Glad I went, so much choice and I had the Garlic wantons , but the hit was T he kimchi chicken bao

Average, expensive food. A hall that has similar ones in almost every district of Budapest. What is worth mentioning is the many BIO foods. The area is trendy, although you cry when you see the many graffiti, even though it is the trademark of the area.

This was a big market. It looks like the one in SP. But it's smaller. It's worth visiting and eating something from the region.
