The food is average, the salad is served in a bowl that is way too small. €4.50 for the extra sauce is outrageous.

We had dinner at Schiere yesterday and were more than thrilled. The duck breast was excellently fried and a complete delight. What we particularly liked was the extremely friendly, family atmosphere. We felt “at home”. Also because of the delicious wine cocktails we won't be there for the last time. All around great service, great food and lots of warmth. Cheers to Elisa, the most wonderful waitress in the world!!!

The second evening of this weekend we wanted to enjoy local cuisine - and we were really spoiled here. We (2 adults and 1 dog) had reserved a table online, but arrived 30 minutes late as the table had been kept free - mega. The food: very tasty and good portions, at good prices. But the best thing was the boss and her staff - there are professionals at work here who know what guests value. And Frieda, our dog, was the secret star that evening. Thanks again. Visit on Monday, February 24, 2025 in the evening The restaurant, which is located in the hotel of the same name in Waldbronn, in the Reichenbach district, offers Baden home-style cooking, but you can also find upscale cuisine for special occasions on the menu. I wrote to the restaurant in advance and made a reservation, as the house recommended this in advance on the website and my table request was then confirmed. After entering the hotel, you will be guided by appropriate signs to the restaurant, which is separated by another door within the hotel. A member of staff greeted me in a friendly manner and showed me to my table - afterwards the tea light was lit and the card was handed to me. An order: > Zeuterner Mannaberg Müller Thurgau, 2023/24, sweet, tasty, Kraichgau, WG Wiesloch, 0.25l for €4.80 > Lamb's lettuce dressed with homemade vinaigrette, bacon and crackers for €8.50 > Beef boiled beef with horseradish sauce, herb potatoes, seasonal salads for €22.50 >> Info from the employee that there was a salad with my main course, whether this should be canceled because I ordered a lamb's lettuce as a starter and I stated that the side salad from the main course could still be served. Very good service and information for the guest! > Combination solution: 1 espresso and 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream for €4.50 > Strawberry-cherry liqueur with garden mint 2 cl for €4.00 Summary: I found the service provided by the staff to be very attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. The dishes, the lamb's lettuce served with warm bacon and a delicious vinaigrette, caught my attention, as did the main course, one of my favorite meals. I found it to be a good, average price-performance ratio, as you also get the corresponding performance in food and drink. The ambience is fine - you can tell that it is a hotel restaurant and that there are also many hotel guests who take advantage of what is on offer, which I was also able to notice during my visit. Access to the restaurant by car is currently somewhat restricted due to a construction site - alternatively, you can also travel by public transport and from Reichenbach S-Bahn line 11 > it is about a 5-7 minute walk, as is the bus line 155 stop at Monmouthplatz/Kurhaus. A little note for the operators: The website currently contains, among other things, the "Asparagus Card", which is not available locally in February - you should maintain your website accordingly. Finally, I would like to say that I was satisfied with the entire visit, with all the parts that I mentioned, and I would therefore recommend the Restaurant Krone, as you get to the main point >> “Eating and drinking” is very well looked after. Gladly again if the opportunity arises again.

In uriger, fast schon spartanischer Umgebung genießt man hier super leckeres Essen im badischen Stil. Bei sieben verschiedenen Bestellungen gab es nur strahlende und zufriedende Gesichter, was für die Qualität des Essens spricht.

I can definitely recommend it, but when it's really full it can get a bit loud.

Great little restaurant in Kayserstuhl, the dishes are very refined. They are worth the detour, I went there a week later with friends who really enjoyed it. Thank you for this good time.

We haven't had such great accommodation for a long time. Great service, great, very friendly staff. Beautiful tastefully decorated clean rooms. We had a very good breakfast and ate very well in the restaurant and, above all, the friendliness in all areas was impressive. Simply pure relaxation

I love this place, the food is sooo delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I eventually dined here three times on the same week! I was visiting Freiburg for work, and every time i came, I was absolutely delighted with the quality of food and a warm welcome. The restaurant is super cozy, not too loud even on Saturday night (even though it was completely full). My favorite were tapas 🥰 out of all restaurants I tried in Freiburg, this is my favorite by far and the next time I visit, it’ll be the first one I’ll come back to!Thank you so much!!!

Beautiful restaurant, attentive service and the food is so delicious that the eyes can eat it. There are 2 daily menus on Sunday or you can choose the food from the menu.

I've eaten at the Knusperhäuschen several times and have never been disappointed. Always good, hearty, delicious food and nice service. This time we had pork medallions and wild hare. Last time we had onion roast and roast duck. Finally there was a crème brulet.

Great experience in this Biergarten.
