Very unfriendly and overpriced. What a shame!

We had the roasted duck Mediterranean style and the veal schnitzel. The duck was probably the best roasted duck we ever had. It had crispy skin and juicy meat served with an egg crepe that had mushrooms and vegetables. The duck was not greasy at all and the schnitzel was perfect. The schnitzel was savory and perfectly salted. The waiter was very polite and courteous, he also survived the Canadian winters lol

The patio is absolutely gorgeous. The food was excellent. The waiter recommended an excellent wine. One of my favorite places we stopped this whole trip

Yes! We ate tarte flambée. Were very good! There was also a glass of local wine. It was very tasty! We paid 45 euros for it (2 people).

Beautiful restaurant... inside and out

Wonderful atmosphere in a very beautiful area. It's worth stopping here and enjoying a relaxed meal on the terrace when the weather is nice or outside. Good to know: hot food throughout!

A man/woman has to go there, super cozy little house, with great teddy bear decorations and the staff and the food are fantastic! We'd love to come back!🥰🥰🥰

We've been here a few times. Ambience with local color. Nice place with good, hearty food and mostly friendly service. The various tarte flambées are highly recommended. The boss is unique 😆as the sign at the entrance testifies.

I've eaten at the Knusperhäuschen several times and have never been disappointed. Always good, hearty, delicious food and nice service. This time we had pork medallions and wild hare. Last time we had onion roast and roast duck. Finally there was a crème brulet.

Service, ambience and food were very good. We ate at the Knusperhäuschen twice during our stay in Sasbachwalden and were never disappointed. Price performance is also right. What more could you want?

Not pleasant service. In cold weather (-2°) the windows are wide open. The customer must do the accounts themselves to pay.

Never in my life, not even as a customer and much less as a waiter, when I was one, did it occur to me to tell some customers to get off the table and put the personal glasses of the 4 and 2 year old children they were bringing ON THE FLOOR. with him. Did 2 baby glasses undermine the aesthetics of the restaurant? And that they put them on the ground? Like dogs? The guy who served us had that fantastic idea. It became impossible for me to look at his face again; he still has a lot to learn about life and his profession. Total lack of consideration towards the children and their parents who did not skimp on ordering several rounds of drinks for the adults and the most elaborate dishes. The lady to whom I conveyed my complaint when I left didn't even know what to say but probably didn't care based on how she talked about the customers at other tables once they had already left the premises.

Had reservations for 9 people at 6:30 p.m. Then we called and said it was 7 p.m. Arrived and was expelled because we were allegedly too drunk. Of course we drank alcohol on the wine hike, but everyone was sane and independent. I and those taking part have never experienced anything like this. It's an absolute disgrace.

We went here for a coffee and ice cream, on their very nice terrace. The ice cream was great, the coffee not very memorable. A couple of things: apparently having only drinks is only accepted between certain hours (how were we supposed to know?) and you can only pay with card above €20 (how were we supposed to know?). The service was okay but we got some annoyed looks due to the above-mentioned reasons. Not entirely our fault in my opinion, those house rules were not listed outside nor in the menu.

Excellent! We were afraid because the restaurants in the area were closed or were very expensive. It was a success, the place is spectacular with how much they have decorated, we were on the terrace and with the shade they had it was very good despite the heat it was. The service was very good, they recommended some dishes to us since the menu was in German and we had a lot of ideas. We loved the food!! And the dessert, the black forest cake, its presentation was the usual but what difference did it make? Because it was awesome!! It is also highly recommended to visit its interior and go down to the bathroom to see how everything is taken care of in detail to introduce you to a story, as they have selected and Gretel that you will find them at your door! The price is expensive, but according to the prices there, it is not excessive either.

A really great house from the outside and the covered wine terrace is also very nice. Unfortunately, the side salad was a bit drowned in dressing, which was very tasty, but just too much. I had duck American, the duck was phenomenal, unfortunately BBQ sauce from the tube didn't go well with the food. Potatoes came carmelized and were plentiful. My husband had roast beef with red wine sauce. He says it was tasty but the price is not justified. Overall it was really tasty and the service staff were very attentive and friendly. Thanks

Food was average, normal beer garden level but nothing special. Unfortunately, in terms of price, you have to say that the whole thing really borders on a tourist rip-off. For 3 tarte flambées, 2 large salads and 5 drinks we spent 100 euros with 4 people. If you have to pay 8.50 for an iced coffee, the whole thing is really out of proportion. The ambience is worth highlighting, the service itself was friendly, just a little slow, which shouldn't be taken as a criticism, it was also busy.

We tried to have a drink at 7.30pm with the terrace half empty and they didn't want to serve us. We would only be there for 1/2 hour and we wouldn't have done much work, but you can see that it's one of those places where you either have dinner or they don't want you as customers.

Great restaurant with great duck and apple strudel!

We were there again today. Almost everything is the same. Nearly. Because today we met two nice young people as waitresses. So there are still offspring. The food (steak with mustard crust and Viennese schnitzel) was great as always. Gladly again.

Completely overpriced and carelessly prepared. Fried potatoes turned once in the pan. Plate for €28 should look different. Hammer for ice cubes (freezing tap water) €1.50 straight onto the bill. Outrageous…. The catering industry is currently making a lot of efforts when it comes to the price-performance ratio. We would have been better off picking up fresh meat from the butcher at the vending machine and preparing it ourselves in our campervan. You feel very ripped off at the moment

The beer garden is nice. The service was friendly but not personable. Our meal (pancakes with asparagus) was a complete rip-off for €32.50 per portion. This is out of proportion and there was also a lack of spice. I can't recommend it.

Go to the restaurant across the street, see the McDonald's, at least they will treat you with respect and you will have a good time, quite the opposite of this restaurant with disdainful staff and very little concern for our satisfaction. I think it's a nice restaurant with an outdoor area. Not cheesy, but of course it has to live up to its name. The Maultaschen with mushroom ragout were recommended and the vegetarian tarte flambée was also great.

I had a large caterpillar (2cm) in the porcini mushroom soup😫 When I showed this to the waitress, she came back after a few minutes and said that the cook had said that this can happen with mushrooms. I felt sick to my stomach the whole evening and won't eat anything there again 😩 We did get a schnapps from the waitress as an apology, but I find it very disgusting 🤢
