All in all, a fantastic experience! The Christmas decorations were really beautiful and the food was excellent. There were six of us, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The restaurant is also very child-friendly, with toys and a tree stand. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant is located in an old half-timbered house, with low ceilings and massive wooden beams – simply incredibly cozy! The food was simply delicious and more than sufficient. We started with cream of asparagus soup and Swiss cheese soup, both of which were really good! Afterward, we looked forward to goulash with spaetzle and roast beef with fried potatoes, and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. So if you ever find your way to Sasbachwalden, you should definitely eat here.

Always nice, one of the last smoking bars in the area, so only small snacks or food, just rustic and cozy 🥰 Plus fair prices ❗

The location is amazing, between the vineyards with stunning views. Friendly welcome at the hotel, we had a room with garden view, spacious and clean. The restaurant food and service was great, they also serve the locally made wines which were great!

Been there many times and always very satisfied... And yesterday the head of the kitchen dared to serve the (rather tough) venison goulash for 27.90 bagged spaetzle... Bottom drawer... unbelievable... right in the middle of the spaetzle paradise. Has he lost his professional honor?

We had the roasted duck Mediterranean style and the veal schnitzel. The duck was probably the best roasted duck we ever had. It had crispy skin and juicy meat served with an egg crepe that had mushrooms and vegetables. The duck was not greasy at all and the schnitzel was perfect. The schnitzel was savory and perfectly salted. The waiter was very polite and courteous, he also survived the Canadian winters lol
