Un grand merci pour ce chouette moment passé en famille, après une belle randonnée dans ces paysages merveilleux. Ne comprenant pas l’allemand, le propriétaire a gentiment fait la traduction. Tout le monde s’est régalé, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Following a walk around the Mummelsee in the Black Forest, we ate in this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the atmosphere and the authenticity of the dishes. We had a great time😋+++, we couldn't have found better. Plus the boss speaks French! We had wild garlic tart flambée, head cheese With potatoes, in salad, an appfel Trudel And vanilla ice cream, with local strawberries. A delight!

Tolles kleines uriges Restaurant mit freundlichem Wirt. Die Walliser Käseschnitte ist zu empfehlen und lecker, ebenso die Flammkuchen. Reservierung ist zu empfehlen, da es ein kleiner Gastraum ist. Es gibt zwar noch einen kleinen Außenbereich, aber dieser wird, bei gutem Wetter, auch schnell frequentiert.

Great little quaint restaurant with a friendly host. The Valais cheese slices are recommended and delicious, as are the tarte flambées. Reservation is recommended as it is a small guest room. There is still a small outdoor area, but it gets busy quickly when the weather is good.

Small and comfortably furnished restaurant with delicious food. We were really more than satisfied and would love to come back. The parking situation is not that easy, but there is a parking lot almost around the corner or you can park there on the streets. If possible, reservations should be made in advance.

Very nice restaurant. Outside and inside. Very good, freshly prepared food. The menu is small but the food is good. Good Waldhaus beer and of course good wines in this area. Fast, friendly service and a nice, friendly host. A well mixed, decent audience. You should definitely make a reservation here in good time. We will be back definitely.

We have been coming to Ald Saschwalle for several years. The food is always very good and very varied thanks to the additional menu. The ambience is really rustic for my taste, I really like it and the seating is very comfortable. The landlord and owner is super nice, he responds to all your wishes and always has a relaxed saying on his lips. We hope that this quaint restaurant will last for many years and that we will be able to spend many more pleasant hours at Patrick's. See you soon 🤗🍷😊

This was our fourth time eating here on our motorhome tour. It was excellent as always. The service was first class and the food was great. All at a reasonable price. We will be back.

Authentic Black Forest restaurant. We loved everything we ate, flammkuchen, roast beef, eggs... Unforgettable on our July 2023 vacation. Economical price. Normal service, taking into account that we do not know German. The beautiful town.

Wunderschönes Fachwerkhaus mit einer gemütlichen Gaststube. Sehr netter Wirt, der uns einen leckeren Käsekuchen brachte. Dazu gab es einen sehr feinen Cappuccino mit Kirscheierlikör.

This small friendly restaurant and bar run by Patrick and his wife , is a hub of information for the area (in English) and serves excellent light food and great beers, cash is required as no Wi-Fi . Brush up on your German when in sasbach and enjoy the fabulous area.

Posto carino il proprietario sorridente e disponibile. Menù solo in tedesco. Pietanze buone anche se piuttosto importanti da digerire, non tanto per il modo di cucinare ma perché rispecchiano, secondo me, la tradizione locale... Quindi spazhle con formaggio e pancetta cotti in forno, uova fritte e così via. Tutto buono cmq. Prezzi adeguati sulla via principale del paese. Consiglio di prenotare perché piccolino.

Cenato questa sera,domenica calma di gente. Avevo prenotato. Bel locale caldo, arredato in modo antico, personale gentile,cortese,ampio menù di piatti tipici, gli spazli gratinati,favolosi,insalata di wurstel ottima, mi attirava la aringa affumicata con cipolla e patate fritte,ma non riuscivo ,tanto ero sazio. Belli i dolci Prezzo molto buono. Da tornare. Non hanno pos. Solo contanti

Ein urig-gemütliches Restaurant welches definitiv einen Besuch wert ist. Kleine aber feine Speisekarte plus saisonalen Zusatzkarte mit teils kreativen Gerichten.Das Essen war schön angerichtet und sehr lecker. Der Service ist äußerst aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut angemessen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Essen aus frischen Zutaten in guter Qualität und sehr Lecker in übersichtlicher Auswahl, aber durch wechselnde Tagesempfehlungen immer wieder neue interessante Menuekombinationen möglich. Uriges Ambiente und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Auf Grund des eher geringen Platzangebotes empfehle ich dringend Plätze zu reservieren.

Vor 8 Wochen haben wir hier schon einmal sehr gut gegessen. Auf der Rückfahrt standen wir wieder auf dem Stellplatz und haben wieder hier gegessen. Es war wieder hervorragend. Der Wirt war wieder gut drauf und etliche Einwohner saßen an der Theke. Eine super Atmosphäre in dem kleinen gemütlichen Restaurant. Sehr gerne immer wieder.

Precioso restaurante. Nosotros solo nos tomamos un café pero el ambiente del local es típico alemán de la selva negra. Fuimos en diciendo y estaba ambientado ya de navidad. Vale la pena visitar el pueblo y tomate algo aquí o comer.

Wir waren gestern dort essen und es war richtig lecker .Ich hatte die Zwiebelsuppe und die käsespätzle und Ich kann beides nur empfehlen .Der Besitzer und die Kellnerin war sehr nett und aufmerksam .klare weiterempfehlung

Sehr gemütliches Lokal und netter Wirt. Wir waren zum Abendessen dort aber auch nur auf ein Bier oder Wein ist es sehr gemütlich. Die Karte ist gut bürgerlich. Da wir kein Fleisch essen wollten, hatten wir leider nicht allzu viel Auswahl. Deswegen haben wir uns nach einem Salat für einen vegetarischen Flammkuchen entschieden, wie bereits einige Male davor in anderen Lokalen, wo wir die Flammkuchen nicht gelungen fanden, meist wegen dem Teig. Hier war es aber ein echt toller Flammkuchenteig, knusperdünn und schön bestrichen, der beste, den wir in Sasbachwalden hatten. Einzig der Beilagensalat für mehr als 6 Euro hielt nicht das, was der Preis versprach. Alles in allem ist das Lokal aber eine Empfehlung wert.

Immer ein Besuch wert! Sehr freundlicher Wirt und gutes Essen von seiner Frau.

Immer wenn wir in Sasbachwalden sind ist ein oder mehrere Besuche in der Ald Saschwalle ein muss:) uriges Ambiente in der Gaststube mit einem gemütlichen kleinen Außenbereich. Die Gerichte auf der Sprisekarte sind durchweg super lecker und der Service ist freundlich, kompetent und gut. Der Wirt ist das Aushängeschild seiner kleinen Lokalität!! Immer wieder gerne:)
