Recently, on a wonderful midday, I stopped at Butz zu Schürsdorf near Scharbeutz. As soon as I entered the rustic restaurant, I noticed the bustling, yet inviting atmosphere. The old staircase with its worn steps certainly told many a story about the many guests who have come and gone here. The service was quick and attentive - as soon as we were seated, the drinks were served and the food we ordered followed quickly. My guest chose the Tafelspitz, a generous portion with plenty of sauce. I chose the original Wiener Schnitzel, which was also well prepared. However, the fried potatoes could have been a little crispier, and the cucumber salad would have tasted even better with a little more acid and salt. Despite my high expectations, overall it was a solid and tasty meal. The food is plentiful, tasty and well prepared, and the service is friendly and attentive. You could only be a little bolder when it comes to seasoning - but that is of course a question of personal taste. Next time I visit I might give it a fifth star. Compared to equivalent German restaurants, there is still room for improvement. But this is meant in an absolutely benevolent and positive way, as all the invited guests really enjoyed it.

Had lunch here at Easter. Highly recommended. A little more expensive, but crispy duck with great sauces.

We tested it, met a lot of friendly people, and the food was also quite good, I had the schnitzel with paprika sauce, it was delicious, the schnitzel was very good, but I found the paprika sauce to be very spicy ketchup-like, and the consistency was also a bit different very viscous or very thick, a bit like paste. I think something could and should be improved here, but just my personal opinion. Overall we felt comfortable, the atmosphere is a bit rustic. I rate it overall with 3.5 stars and round up to 4 stars.

DANGER!!! Don't go here!!!!! Expired mayo frozen fries and that's just the beginning Currywurst is simply without curry there is ketchup underneath 1 drop. And three people behind the counter and no one worked for 30 minutes until the three dishes were ready. €30 for that

Netter und aufmerksamer Service incl. Chef. Die Speisen sind eher durchschnittlich. Kalbsleder war ok, aber die Rinderleber im Holsteiner Hof in Timmendorf ist definitiv besser. Bei der Fischvariation lässt man die Trüffelsauce oder Sahne besser auf dem Teller. Sie ist fad , geschmacklos und besteht vermutlich aus einer Mehlschwitze mit einem Spritzer Trüffelöl angereichert. Der Wein war gut gekühlt. Alles in allem schönes Ambiente und durchschnittliche Küche, was meinen subjektiven Geschmack betrifft.

This place doesn't do "vegetarian". We visited two-starred, maritime-focussed restaurants in France which were capable to adapt their menu, but DiVa won't do with such nonsense. Even with 6 months prior notice. Of course I understand that if you are not at all prepared for such extraordinary circumstances, it is better to cancel the booking than to make some half-hearted effort. But you know what, guys? It's the 21st century, so feel free to join us if you find the time.

Every time we are in Scharbeutz with our kids, we come to eat here. We were always served very kindly and attentively on every visit. The food tastes very good and we feel very comfortable. I can highly recommend the lasagna. We'll be back.

The food was super tasty and the portions were good. The man was super nice. We wanted to sit outside with the dogs rather than inside, so he turned on a heater especially for us. The shop is clean and women can also go to the toilet with a good feeling.

Sehr gutes Essen für wenig Geld. Die Portionen sind riesig und auch geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Schnitzel werden frisch geklopft und paniert nach der Bestellung (wo gibt's denn noch sowas 😍).
