We tested it, met a lot of friendly people, and the food was also quite good, I had the schnitzel with paprika sauce, it was delicious, the schnitzel was very good, but I found the paprika sauce to be very spicy ketchup-like, and the consistency was also a bit different very viscous or very thick, a bit like paste. I think something could and should be improved here, but just my personal opinion. Overall we felt comfortable, the atmosphere is a bit rustic. I rate it overall with 3.5 stars and round up to 4 stars.

Last Saturday we spontaneously went to eat at Herzberg's restaurant in Scharbeutz. At first we wanted a place in the "porch"; It was too warm for us under the heater, so we went in and were given a nice spot. The restaurant is lovingly decorated, not too overwhelming, and the tables are nicely set. After a while it got a bit chilly. - What was too warm “outside” was missing inside. - But we didn't freeze. We chose the porcini mushroom risotto with fried wild mushrooms and beef fillet strips as well as the braised venison rump with cranberry sauce, fried wild mushrooms and parsnip mashed potatoes. The drinks came quickly and were at the right temperature. But the food took a very good half hour to arrive. Food was constantly coming out of the kitchen; probably from the lunch menu he offered. Funny, the only thing missing from our table were the napkins. The service didn't notice this when the surrounding tables were changed, among other things, from paper to cloth napkins. - But upon request or request, we also received napkins with our meal. The food was great! Risotto and beef fillet - just as you would expect. Yummy. The venison rump is tender, well prepared, topped with the jus. - We would like to dine like this more often. The espresso after the meal was a treat and was nicely served on a heart-shaped board. And once again it came as it should: with a (sip) of water. - You rarely see that. All in all: A lovely, memorable visit that calls for a repeat visit. - That's not a threat. ;-) The avoidable little things in the service will certainly still be able to be eliminated...

We were in Scharbeutz for three days at the end of October. On the first evening we wanted to go to Trattoria Martinello, on the other days other restaurants had already been reserved. In the end, however, we canceled the other reservations and stayed here all three days because it was so delicious, friendly and simply familiar. The food tasted great every time. The pasta dishes always had a lot of flavor, and the pizza was also very tasty. There was plenty of parmesan and, if desired, homemade oil for seasoning. The service was great and we were welcomed “like family” on the second day. The small restaurant is very cozy and we felt completely at home. We have been in Scharbeutz for many years and have tried many restaurants there. But now we have definitely changed our regular Italian restaurant.

Taste A+, the best I've eaten in a long time, but prices are way too high

Sehr gutes Essen für wenig Geld. Die Portionen sind riesig und auch geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Schnitzel werden frisch geklopft und paniert nach der Bestellung (wo gibt's denn noch sowas 😍).
