Unassuming, but one of the best restaurants in Scharbeutz and the surrounding area (unless, of course, you think you're a Michelin star yourself). A cozy, homey atmosphere. Home-style food, and a super friendly and upbeat vibe. Simply fantastic, far from the usual hustle and bustle of the coast.

We had a wonderful time there. Absolutely delicious food and great rooms. We thank the super friendly team for the great service and would love to come back.

Highly recommended if you like duck! A table reservation is required, which worked out easily online. Updated: It's still highly recommended. The quality seems to be consistently good and will remain so.

All the dishes were of excellent quality, lovingly prepared, and the price/performance ratio was perfect! The service was impeccable. The rooms were beautifully decorated. Delicious cocktails. We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday at Schüttenhus. We had the barbecue buffet with delicious homemade salads, sauces, and dips, and of course, freshly grilled meat and sausage. The bar staff was the highlight of the evening. She knew what everyone was drinking throughout the evening and made sure the glasses never ran dry. Overall, a fantastic evening with a really friendly couple.
