Seestern Kiosk in Scharbeutz

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday at Schüttenhus. We had the barbecue buffet with delicious homemade salads, sauces, and dips, and of course, freshly grilled meat and sausage. The bar staff was the highlight of the evening. She knew what everyone was drinking throughout the evening and made sure the glasses never ran dry. Overall, a fantastic evening with a really friendly couple.

While looking for a restaurant, we ended up at Diercksen, and we were not disappointed. My wife was absolutely delighted with her fish dish. I had a schnitzel with chanterelles. Very tasty, but the meat was a bit tough. My own fault, why I only eat schnitzel when I'm at the sea 🤔. In my defense, it was chanterelle season 😉. Next time, we'll have fish 🧐.

Highly recommended if you like duck! A table reservation is required, which worked out easily online. Updated: It's still highly recommended. The quality seems to be consistently good and will remain so.

We spent a weekend there and can only recommend it. It may be located in a small village, but it has its charm. We had breakfast included, which offered a delicious selection of savory and sweet treats. Those who wanted could also have scrambled eggs. We can only recommend it. Thank you to the entire team for the wonderful stay.

Unassuming, but one of the best restaurants in Scharbeutz and the surrounding area (unless, of course, you think you're a Michelin star yourself). A cozy, homey atmosphere. Home-style food, and a super friendly and upbeat vibe. Simply fantastic, far from the usual hustle and bustle of the coast.
