Super reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstück! Sehr gerne wieder!

Die gesamte Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit im Service, das Ambiente, die Qualität und der Geschmack der Speisen verdienen erneut die höchste Bewertung.

Waren diesmal sehr zufrieden… Service, essen - bis auf dass Cordon Bleu war alles lecker.. Bei der Nachspeise- wir hatten Eis bestellt … die Kugeln waren schon fast geschmolzen….

Zu wenig Personal für zu viele Gäste. Mega lange Wartezeiten. Das Essen war teils lecker teils aber auch mäßig. Zum Beispiel war das Schnitzel vollzogen mit Fett.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Service den Abend über. Sehr schönes Ambiente und außergewöhnlich gutes Essen (mit gleichzeitig reichlichen Portionsgrößen). Wir kommen sicher gern wieder und können das BUTZ sehr weiterempfehlen

Eine besondere Location mit hochwertigen Speisen. Der Tafelspitz ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr schnelle Bedienung, obwohl das Restaurant ausgebucht war. Unser Ostersonntag war durch den Besuch im Butz etwas ganz Besonderes.

Es war der zweite Besuch und bestimmt nicht der letzte! Wie beim ersten Mal sehr empfehlenswert. Essen hervorragend der Service sehr nett und immer sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Das Restaurant war bei Außentemperaturen um 7 Grad nicht beheizt. Keine Lust zu den Preisen im kalten zu speisen. Nicht nochmal

Wie immer war das Frühstück sehr gut. Es ist alles frisch und sehr lecker. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Man kann soviel Kaffee und Saft trinken wie man möchte. Auch Kaffeespezialitäten sind dabei. Bei den meisten muss man die extra zahlen. Man sitzt gemütlich und bekommt eine Etagere; ist die leer kann man nachbestellen. Das Frühstück versteht sich als satt. Vielen Dank auch für den überaus netten Service.

Die Plätze am Tisch waren eingedeckt. Kaffee und Saft standen bereit. Abweichende Getränkewünsche wurden schnell erfüllt. Das superleckere Frühstück wurde auf der Etagere serviert. Nachbestellungen jederzeit möglich. Service super!!!

Es war- wie immer - sehr schön! Wir kommen bald wieder! Aufmerksamer Service, eine schöne Getränkekarte und wirklich gutes Essen! Es lohnt sich jedes Mal!

wie immet: hervorragend. Freundlicher Service, schönrs, urgemütliches Ambiente, und was uns immer wieder sehr positiv auffällt: wirksame Schalldämmung. Selbst bei vollbesetztem Restaurant ist eine pers. Unterhaltung möglich, eine Wohltat! Und die Küche? Zum „ Knutschen“… ich konnte meine Frau zum Hirschbraten überreden: sagenhaft saftig (!!!), zart, eine superbe Sosse, köstlich, Kartoffelstampf gemischt mit knackigen Kürbuswürfeln, lecker, der begleitende Salat liebevoll zusammengestellt, bunt… Schade, dass wir den „Butz“ mit seinem unverwechelbaren charme nicht unter den Arm klemmen und an den Niederrhein verlegen kann. Und wichtig: Reservieren nicht vergessen!!!

seit 3 Tagen und noch weitere 3 Tage bin ich im „Butz“: erstklassig, freundlich, hilfsbereit, grossartige Küche, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Das gilt übrigens auch für die gemütlichen Zimmer!

RESTAURANT REVIEW The food was excellent. As a non-vegetarian, I tried the vegetables with mashed potatoes out of curiosity and was truly impressed. The value for money is absolutely justified by local standards, and the wine prices, starting at €26 per bottle, are also absolutely acceptable. Our recommendation: the surprise dessert for €11 per person with a selection of five sweets from the menu. A big thank you to the very attentive and friendly service.

The food is absolutely fantastic!! We are returning for the 3rd time in 1 1/2 years and are so incredibly satisfied with both the food and the service. It is a gem that you should not miss. Close to the ferry is a clear advantage.

Das BUTZ ist eine echte Empfehlung! Das Essen war hervorragend, sehr lecker und sehr liebevoll serviert. Vorspeisen, Fisch, Fleisch und Dessert waren auf dem Punkt zubereitet. Das Rumpsteak zart, das Marktgemüse knackig frisch, die Bratkartoffeln außen kross, innen nicht zu weich. Der Pannfisch auf den Punkt gebraten, die Senfsoße intensiv schmeckig. Das Sorbet fruchtig schmelzend, liebevoll und kreativ angerichtet. Der Capuccino hervorragend. Die Weinkarte übersichtlich, passend. Der sympathische und zuvorkommende Service verdient eine besondere Auszeichnung. Das BUTZ kann sich glücklich schätzen so ein engagiertes und kompetentes Personal zu haben. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, das Mobilar im historischen Teil des Restaurants überwiegend sehr bequem, annehmlich und gemütlich. Weitere Räume sind modern gemütlich eingerichtet. Fazit: Wir haben außer Haus lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Wir kommen wieder, haben unser nächstes kulinarisches Highlight im BUTZ bereits gebucht

We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday at BUTZ with 16 people. The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly and attentive! A big thank you to the kitchen and service staff; everything went smoothly! We'd love to come back.

Eine tolle Location mit sehr nettem und zuvorkommendem Service und tollem Essen. Wir waren anlässlich des Geburtstages von meinem Mann dort und der Tisch war schön gedeckt und darauf stand eine handgeschriebene Geburtstagskarte. Das hat meinen Mann sehr gefreut. Wir werden in jedem Fall wieder hingehen.

Hier hat alles gepasst, das Essen und der Sevice waren sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

As a hiking group, we had a wonderful few days at the Hotel Butz! I've rarely experienced such a well-organized hotel with such extremely friendly, impeccable service! The rooms were top-notch, the half-board food is highly recommended, and we also loved the quiet location!

We spent a weekend there and can only recommend it. It may be located in a small village, but it has its charm. We had breakfast included, which offered a delicious selection of savory and sweet treats. Those who wanted could also have scrambled eggs. We can only recommend it. We received an extremely friendly welcome as cycling tourists. The hotel room was very good value for money. The dinner was absolutely delicious! A wonderfully quiet restaurant with a magical ambiance. A birthday party with 27 guests was a real treat, thanks to the excellent and impeccable service and the fantastic buffet. The children were also well catered for, so the celebration seemed endless.

Very delicious food. Different combinations, worth it! The gratinated goat cheese is recommended as a starter! Also the coconut and ginger soup. Good and friendly service! High prices, but worth it for the truly unique dishes!

Wunderbares Restaurant Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig mit tierwohlorientiertem Fleisch, vegetarischen und veganen Optionen und saisonalem Schwerpunkten (aktuell Pfifferlinge). Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die vielleicht einzige Schwachstelle: relativ hohe Getränkepreise. Aber insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant!

The Hotel Butz is a small, clean, and quiet hotel with attentive staff. The breakfast and dinner were very good. Since the hotel is not directly on the Baltic Sea beach, but a few kilometers away, this should be taken into account when planning your trip. Overall, however, it is absolutely recommended.

After successfully celebrating our wedding at the Butz in 2023 (superbly organized), we return here every year for a few days on our wedding anniversary. Wir waren zum Hochzeitstag abends im Butz im Ausssenbereich. Es war sehr schön und wir kommen wieder. Besonders gut war das Cordon Bleu - sehr gute Qualität. Also rundum zufrieden.

Unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. We were looking forward to our stay at the Hotel Butz, but were sadly disappointed. The room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned upon our arrival – there were noticeable deposits of dust, especially in the bedroom and on the bed. The floor was also covered in dust and hair, presumably from a dog's previous stay – which was particularly unpleasant with a small child. The room and the sofa smelled strongly of wet dog and seemed to have been designed as a place to sleep for our 2-year-old daughter – completely unsuitable and unhygienic. Although we had mentioned our daughter when booking, there was no bed prepared, nor was it clear how her sleeping arrangements were intended. For €10 per day, we ended up getting a crib with bedding – this additional effort and cost should have been communicated transparently in advance. The bathroom offered barely any storage space and no place to hang towels – very impractical for everyday use. The kitchenette was also poorly equipped, lacking, among other things, sufficient cutlery. Surprisingly and unpleasantly, there were still old food items in the kitchen cupboard – it seemed anything but well-maintained. The hotel's restaurant deserves special mention, however: It offers a very cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was appealing, fresh, and delicious, and the service in the restaurant was always friendly and attentive – we truly enjoyed it. Conclusion: While the service and breakfast were impressive, the condition and furnishings of the room did not meet our expectations – there is clearly room for improvement, particularly in terms of cleanliness and family-friendliness.

Wir hatten einen schönen Sitzplatz (Zweiertisch am Fenster). Da wir am späten Nachmittag reserviert hatten, war es nicht so voll. Wir hatten eine nette Bedienung. Da meine Frau Geburtstag hatte, gab es eine netten Glückwunschkarte der Belegschaft. Das Essen war hervorragend, Der Tafelspitz hat meine Frau begeistert und mein Wiener Schnitzel mit Pilzrahmsoße war auch sehr gut. Alles in allem, ein schönes Geburtstagsessen.

Im Restaurant herrscht eine sehr angenehme und ruhige Atmosphäre, die Mitarbeiter/innen sind ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen ist qualitativ hochwertig und sehr lecker, die Portionsgröße ist für normale Esser ausreichend.

We chose the hotel as it was a central base for our excursions, and it was a hotel apartment, so we were not dependent on breakfast times.

We were there two weeks ago with four people, pre-ordering. A tiered stand was placed on the table, with the note that it could be remade, but the staff was lacking, and they could have constantly reordered. We had to wait a long time for everything, and the tables inside are so small that there's no room for a second tiered stand. A tiered stand for four people, three scrambled eggs, one fried egg, and two pots of coffee comes to €92.50. What a rip-off, it's insane! So if you want to burn money... I can recommend everyone to have breakfast there with four people. Never, never again. But luckily, word has already spread!

Unfortunately, Google doesn't allow separate reviews of the restaurant and accommodation. We ate here and only used the outdoor area, which is located on a very quiet street across from a small fire pond. Everything is very quiet, quaint, and beautifully done. The service was attentive. The food was okay. Everything arrived promptly and correctly. The cod was slightly overcooked, which shouldn't happen with an expensive dish costing €28.90.

We had dinner here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The ambiance is wonderful, the food excellent, and the wine very pleasant.

Everything was top shelf here. The food was great and the staff was happy and smiling. The room was comfortable and functional. They have a bike cage so I knew my bike was safe. Great breakfast too. Headed for Lubeck, stay here.

Wir waren zu 6 Preisen da. Habe online reserviert. Hat alles super geklappt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Ambiente war sehr angenehm. Die Bedienung immer aufmerksam. Die extra Wünsche wurden alle gemacht . Eine schöne Dessertkarte, endlich mal etwas mehr Auswahl wie bei den anderen Restaurants. Etwas abseits gelegen , aber die Fahrt lohnt sich allemal . Insgesamt macht das Butz einen netten und gehobenen Eindruck, jedenfalls unterscheidet es sich wohltuend von den Fressmeilen der Ostseestrände. Die Speisekarte zeigt heimische Gerichte auf erhöhtem Niveau, sowohl qualitativ wie auch preislich. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Leider wurde nach der Bestellaufnahme mittels iPad die Order nicht übertragen. So kam es zu einer Wartezeit von einer guten Stunde. Der Umstand war dem Kellner sehr unangenehm und er entschuldigte sich. Zum Glück hatten wir einen sehr warmen und sonnigen Abend und saßen im Garten. Dort betäubten wir die Hungergefühle mit Aperol und Wein.

Im Butz fühlt man sich sehr willkommen. Der Tisch ist toll geschmückt und das Personal sehr herzlich, auch und vor allem mit Kleinkind. Das Essen ist fantastisch und kommt schnell und heiß. Auch der Gruß von der Küche ist immer wieder toll und zuvorkommend. Wir sind immer wieder gerne im Butz!
