Hello, hello...we spent 2 nights here and were also able to enjoy dinner and breakfast. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. The staff was totally friendly, attentive and accommodating. Room was bright, friendly and clean. The food was a dream and the breakfast was rich and very tasty. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. Ich mag die Einrichtung, alles ist stylish und trotzdem gemütlich. Die Bedienungen sind alle professionell und (trotzdem) supernett. Das Essen war wieder gewohnt auf hohem Niveau und hübsch serviert. Die Preise noch anständig. Das Butz ist unser Favorit in der Gemeinde Scharbeutz.

A really great restaurant with warm service and a great breakfast 💯 great location to invite family and friends for brunch. Everyone liked it very much. Especially the roast beef and the quality of the food was just great.

06/2024: Today we went to eat at Butz for the second time in 2 weeks because we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I can't rate the rooms because we didn't stay overnight. The small but fine restaurant with cozy furnishings and impeccable service in rural Schürsdorf impressed us throughout. The food is excellent and is more like upscale gastronomy. The prices are fair and the quality is right. The menu is small, but offers down-to-earth and seasonal dishes, such as boiled beef with horseradish sauce, that are second to none. Keep it up! We'll definitely be back. 😉 08/2024: Today we had breakfast at Butz and were completely thrilled. The extremely fine selection of cold cuts on the lovingly prepared cake stand leaves nothing to be desired. These are also peppered with fresh fruits and vegetables. There are also freshly made scrambled eggs with bacon, set or fried eggs and of course a wonderful selection of rolls. As well as coffee specialties of your choice and even a glass of Prosecco. If something runs out, it can be reordered. For 23€ per person more than fair. So full marks for breakfast too. 😉👍

Dining here again after a year, unfortunately very disappointed! Plaice fried to death, black on one side, unseasoned, fried potatoes soft (I can do much better), sober Vegetables, boring...cold, the second meal “cordon bleu” wasn't recognizable, unappetizing, so I just tried it. It was my birthday:-( left the restaurant, went to Hamburg and had a fantastic time at the Italian restaurant :-), was treated to an incredibly great dinner = Pei's performance there was absolutely perfect. The Butz parking lot is overcrowded. We cannot rate the hotel. The service was friendly but overwhelmed… a lot of unrest, waiting time, little attention… We won't be coming back.

The food is really delicious and in generous portions! 5 stars!! The location in the “second row” is nicely located. Unfortunately, relative pressure builds up in the evening as the end of the day approaches. I also felt like the time between courses was too short. Perhaps guests should not be accepted after 7pm if full hospitality cannot be guaranteed?

We can only rate the restaurant. The food was really good and tasted great. Unfortunately, the main courses were a bit small in our opinion. Min. You should always plan an appetizer if you are hungry. Additional slight deductions in the B grade: parking situation difficult, service (candle had to be lit yourself, no pepper/salt, etc.). But the food was very tasty, so I recommend it...

A consistently very worthwhile excursion destination, also for coastal visitors: In a beautiful brick, rural, village setting in the hinterland of Scharbeutz, in Schürsdorf, on an idyllic mill pond, good home-style and seasonal dishes are served here at Butz. The quality of the vegetables and meat is impeccable and the sauces are well seasoned. The sweet and sour, clear fish soup with plenty of ingredients is excellent. The impeccably crafted, delicious cordon bleu is also great. The veal liver with tarragon sauce and mashed potatoes is a delight. The ambience and service are very friendly, good all around and also convey an unaffected local color. The prices are reasonable, even cheap for the lunch menu. A country inn with a future.

Here I have to divide my review: 1. Dinner: The dinner was excellent, everything tasted very good and was of excellent quality. I would come back here at any time. 2. Breakfast: Unfortunately there are discounts on the price. The first point of criticism is the rolls. Given the price and the actual quality of the hotel, baked rolls are not possible at all! The second point of criticism is the cheese, which "tasted" like a cheap range of cold cuts from a well-known discount store - in other words, like nothing at all. The cold cuts and the selection of drinks, on the other hand, were very good. Overall, I have to say, I wouldn't want to have breakfast here again.

We had the full package: dinner, one night and breakfast - and it was a great time. First of all, the service is really outstanding. Staff is always attentive, welcoming and friendly. The restaurant offers a very good choice of seasonal, meat and fish dishes. Ingredients are very fresh and preparation is delicious. Our room had a modern design and felt pretty spacious. The surroundings are super quiet and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast is a choice of sausages, cheese, sweets and fruit as well as different rolls and some bread. I enjoyed it and the quality was much better than most buffets. Being not directly at the seaside makes it less touristy but very relaxing. I will come here again!

We only ate here, so that's all I can judge. It is a fine restaurant with high quality and a special atmosphere and hospitality. The food comes from regional traders and is prepared with care. It tasted very tasty. Eating here is something special, you should do it. The staff are very attentive and friendly. It is located just outside of Scharbeutz, so you need a car to get there. But the journey is very worth it.

We were there for dinner. Very nice and cozy restaurant in a quiet location. The selection and quality of the food is at a high level, including the children's plate! The prices are completely reasonable for the quality. We will be back and can highly recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at BUTZ and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent – ​​every dish was carefully prepared and tasted a highlight. We were only there for breakfast (8 people - 4 adults, 4 children aged 14). Good service, very nice team. Very good breakfast €25 per adult is a price that raises high expectations - but these were fully met. The rooms are very tasteful and very well maintained. Very nice.

We were there for birthday breakfast today. It was extremely rich, fresh and delicious... more was served at the table... there was always plenty of coffee... the conditions were super nice. We were even able to bring a dog. The toilets are also very small but clean...The small pond directly opposite is very idyllic... We will be back

We were only there for breakfast. There was an etagère with various types of cold cuts and cheese, meat, fruit, jam and Nutella. The preparation of the egg was freely selectable (fried eggs, scrambled eggs, etc.). Plus really delicious bread and rolls. Warm drinks (coffee, tea, cocoa) and orange juice. 1 glass of Prosecco per person. It was very tasty and the staff was very, very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

Were there for breakfast. You get a cake stand for three people. Only when we asked did we get the answer that we could reorder everything. It started like this: we got one jam for three people but didn't want to call the waitress straight away and so it continued in a tour. Everything we ordered was brought individually. That's a false economy and for €23 per person. The crowning glory was filter coffee, there wasn't even coffee in the machine!

We were there with 9 guests. On a Saturday evening. It would be quite crowded. The service greeted everyone warmly and courteously. The room we sat in was very, very chic, the tables had space for enough people. The food was very hot and good. What was a little less ideal, however, is that when the rooms are full, the volume is appropriate and the air is bad, despite the windows being open.

Since we were in the restaurant and didn't book a room, I unfortunately can't rate the accommodation, but the food was delicious, the service was extremely friendly and quick and the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately it's not exactly cheap, but I already knew that. The restaurant is located a little outside or in a district of Scharbeutz and not near the sea, but the small carp pond is very nice.

Nice little hotel in a quiet area. We felt very comfortable and could reach everything by car from there. A short run with a dog was also possible on site in a small park/forest area. I celebrated my 60th birthday at the Butz restaurant. Everything worked out for us from A to Z to our complete satisfaction. From the coordination, the great food, the service, everything was flawless. Even my guests who stayed there were completely satisfied with the rooms and the breakfast. We can warmly recommend the Butz restaurant.

We can highly recommend these dishes. Our favorites are the cod fillet in a crepe coat and veal Cordon Bleu. A big thank you to the head waiter and Urti, who are always friendly and served us perfectly. A highlight in summer is the covered outdoor terrace with comfortable furnishings. Please reserve in good time.

No matter whether it was family celebrations (large or small) that we celebrated there (there were a few), or simple breakfast or dinner visits, we always received great service and the kitchen is amazing! We could even give it more than 5 stars if it existed. With EASY even vegans and omnivores could raid the buffet without extra sausages. Mache ich jetzt drei Bewertungen, eine fürs gute Frühstück, eine fürs mega Abendessen und eine für das tolle Hotel? Es gibt ja zwei Einträge hier, eines für das Hotel und eines für das Restaurant. WIr waren diese Woche zwei Nächte hier. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits und nur 5 Minuten von Scharbeutz entfernt. Es ist ein altes Gebäude aber innen richtig schön eingerichtet. DIe Zimmer wurden renoviert und haben ein uriges Interior. Was mir besonders wichtig ist, ist die Sauberkeit. Es war sehr sauber. Sogar inklusive Hahn Wecker ;-). Es war vor allem auch ruhig, man konnte die Restaurantgäste nicht hören und sehr entspannen. WIr waren am ersten Abend im Butz essen. Neben Suppe gab es Spargel mit Pasta und Rumpsteak mit Senf-Zwiebel Kruste. Hat sehr gut geschmackt und war toll angerichtet. Toll waren auch die beiden Bedienungen am Montag. Das Frühstück war mit 14 Euros preislich angemessen, leckere Backwaren und viel Aufschnitt, Käse, Marmelade, Nutella. Ich persönlich finde ein Buffet schöner, da einiges liegengeblieben ist, was dann nachher weggeschmissen werden muss. Ingesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und können das Butz empfehlen.

GOOD MORNING! I really get around a lot and have already experienced one or two hotels with their advantages and disadvantages. Here at Butz I was not only warmly welcomed and treated that way until the end, no, everything is just right here. Ok, my mattress was perhaps a bit too soft for me, but that's a matter of taste and I still slept very well. If you can take the time and are willing to spend a little more on breakfast, you can expect an extensive, delicious individual breakfast prepared with love. There is no buffet here, it is prepared with love for each individual guest. I also decided on scrambled eggs with bacon, which was served really warmly and lovingly. I still had the choice of boiled egg or fried egg. Different coffee variations are also available and I can't say more because I was completely satisfied with everything. Room prices are absolutely affordable and I always enjoy coming back to the "BUTZ" :-)

Wir waren begeistert von der Qualität des Essens und der Freundlichkeit des Services. Da es Ostern war, waren viele Familien dort u d es war laut. Wir hätten uns hier eine klügere Zuteilung in einen Raum gewünscht, in dem nur kleinere Gruppen waren.

Wir hatten Roastbeef mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat sowie Kalbsleber mit Kartoffelstampf und Apfelmus. Sogar auf einen kleinen Sonderwunsch wurde sehr freundlich reagiert und geliefert. Die Qualität des Essens war hervorragend und die Chefin war wie immer äußerst zuvorkommend und charmant. Wir fühlten uns (wie schon häufig zuvor) sehr, sehr wohl. Vielen Dank!

Gehen immer gern dorthin. Das Kalbsschnitzel war 1a. Kinderschnitzel auch sehr gut. Das vegetarische Gericht war auch Klasse. Der verdoppelte Vorspeisen Salat zum Hauptspeisen Salat eher durchschnittlich. Nur Salat Blätter für 16 Euro. Bedienung auch eher durchschnittlich freundlich. Wir kommen aber wieder.

All the food was fantastically prepared, great quality, tasted great and was served almost at the same time. A great celebration. If I could I would give it 7 stars. In this great atmosphere again at any time.

We ended up here by happy coincidence. We were looking for a restaurant that didn't close at 2 p.m. The service was very nice and attentive. We ordered Panfish and Königsberger Klopse. It was served on warm plates. Unfortunately, this service is becoming increasingly rare. The dishes were delicious. We were able to mix our own cola wheat. Just the way we like it. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back.
