The service is great. And the food was super delicious.

Nice restaurant, good food and after a few teething problems the service was also good. The fact that as a foreign guest you can't pay with a card dampened the mood. Since I only had Swiss francs in cash, I had to collect the euros from my guests in order to pay and then laboriously transfer them back afterwards. Unfortunately, I (we) will not be making a reservation here again. What a shame in 2024!!

We had dinner at Kouros today. Unfortunately, my gyro was burned very badly, so most of it couldn't be eaten. I told the waiter this, unfortunately there was no apology, only when he came out of the kitchen: That was the first section. Well, that's not my problem! I also had to pay the full bill. Our needs are met. There are other Greeks.

Always very happy! We came across the restaurant by chance on our vacation and ordered take away! The food was super delicious. The people on site when picking up were funny and in a good mood. So we decided to definitely eat there again. When we picked it up we were able to take a look around. The restaurant is beautifully located with a nice terrace and indoor area. So definitely worth recommending!!!

The food was generally good, but the service - absolute disaster! The long waiting times were understandable, the restaurant was quite full, but the service was still poor. In total we were served by 4 people who apparently didn't communicate with each other: some drinks we ordered were forgotten, we had to ask again; The side dishes in the main courses weren't the ones we ordered... And in the end a drink was included twice in the bill, even though we only ordered one (intentionally or not, I can't judge, but still a big negative point ). Conclusion: we won't go there anymore.

We came from HH specifically because we wanted to eat Greek in a nice location with water nearby. It wasn't really full, but we were served later than the guests who came after us. Then we had to wait forever for our drinks. Here, too, the drinks came later than for other guests who came after us. Then another long wait until we got the starter. We had to ask for salt and pepper, which should actually be available everywhere. Then suddenly everything came at once, even though we hadn't even finished the salad. The rice was too salty and the tzatziki gave me a stomach ache, which was actually just a blob. The food otherwise was standard. Too expensive for what you got. Another guest dropped his jacket on the floor and the waiters apparently didn't notice, even though the waitress almost stepped over it. Both waiters walked past the guest several times and ignored this. Service looks different. Once and never again . The lake is very beautiful.

Today we went to the restaurant with the whole family (12 adults and 4 children) for my father-in-law's birthday dinner. First of all, I have to say that the food there is delicious and everyone was happy with the portions and the price-performance ratio. That's why there are 4 stars for the food. When it comes to service, I have to say that it was unfortunately a complete disaster! The staff were friendly and we received a warm welcome, but then unfortunately it became very catastrophic. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our food after taking the order and then receiving it Unfortunately only half of us got their food and only when we were finished did the other half get their food, one of which was completely wrong (Service MA took the wrong number, probably the numbers were wrong) and so they went back to the kitchen. This food then came only after the rest was finished (we then let it go back). Since my son had to watch the whole time as everyone gradually finished their food and his didn't come, I gave him my food , because I was no longer hungry due to the whole situation. The bad thing was that all the other tables got their food in that time and we as a larger group couldn't eat together. The boss's justification was "Sorry, the service staff has The kitchen wasn't told that the tables belonged together."Hello!!! Someone took the reservation and sat us as a group at two tables. Unfortunately, the boss was very uncooperative and in the end everyone's meals were booked on the same table, which doesn't really justify the boss's statement. In no case did he accommodate us, there was no compensation, in the sense of "would you like something else to drink, it's on the house" or "can the children have another ice cream?" There was only a dry SORRY! The restaurant doesn't seem real to be dependent on guests, because at least we will probably have been there for the last time today. We left around 350 euros and everyone was just disappointed and annoyed by the situation. Not a nice birthday!!! It's really a shame that guests who often came to eat there were treated like that!!! I'm not someone who gets annoyed easily and I'll write a review straight away if I don't like something, but today the boss's behavior was really cheeky and inappropriate.

We stayed away from the beach because of the pretty good rating drove to the lake. However, it wasn't worth it Taste and quality was nothing special.

Very tasty food, the meat was grilled/fried just right, large portions. All 6 people in my group were very satisfied.

I pointed out to the staff that I couldn't eat a large portion for medical reasons and asked for a children's portion. The waitress said that it wasn't possible, she could only offer a senior plate. The portion was huge, the skewer consisted of 4 large pieces of meat. I only managed 1 piece. The staff was friendly but their wishes were not taken into account. I should complain to the boss. Unfortunately the owner is very INFLEXIBLE.

During our last visit to the restaurant, we noticed that the prices had risen on average and across the board by two, in some cases even a whopping three euros per dish and also at lunch!! The price-performance ratio is no longer right and we will no longer visit this restaurant. The taste of the food is quite good but we can no longer recommend it given these hefty prices.

Nice, clean and busy restaurant. Even though we didn't make a reservation, we still got one of two tables that were free. If it were warmer you could also sit outside. The food came quickly and was plentiful and really tasty. Salad, fries, bifteki and tzatziki were all very tasty. Service attentive and in a good mood.

Delicious food with fresh ingredients. But somehow I was missing something on my plate - it looked so desolate. I know the dishes with fries AND rice. The staff was friendly, the location was comfortable and the food came relatively quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. But when it comes to payment, the big surprise: NO credit cards are accepted, only the "almost extinct" checking/bank cards. From my point of view, this is absolutely outdated and a reason for me not to visit this restaurant anymore. I know differently that we were only offered an ouzo after payment - but that's the smallest problem.

We were there without a reservation. We got a nice place with a view of the lake. The service is quick, very friendly and professional. We had a platter for two people. A third of them would have been fed up. I haven't had such good Greek food in a long time. To round things off there was a beer from the region. Thank you for the lovely evening!

The food and service there are excellent. I always recommend a reservation, the restaurant is always busy. I love gyros and in my opinion they have the best gyros. This time I had the gyro salad, very tasty.

Food delicious, toilets clean... Broken soap dispenser in the women's toilet... The only thing that bothered us (group of 6 people) was the wait of almost 30 minutes for the bill (even after asking twice) and asking for ouzo only led to an ouzo. Best Greek in the Scharbeutz area. All the local Greeks on the promenade or second row can't keep up. It's worth the 6 minute drive to Pönitz a.S. to drive. Service super great. The ambience in the restaurant is okay and fantastic on the terrace with a view of the lake. Always worth a visit! Keep it up dear Kouros team 🤩

Arranged to meet a friend... it was my first time here... I've driven past several times, but never took the time to stop here and eat... I really missed something... beautiful view, when the weather is nice there is a large covered terrace... with a partial lake view of Lake Pönitz... Plenty of tables in the inn... some with a lake view... cozy restaurant, very nice and courteous hosts... I decided on a starter plate because I still can't eat some things well... plus a bottle of still water... the plate was really full, actually too much for me... but it tastes good in company even better... My acquaintances had also chosen something really hearty or just grilled pepper vegetables...since the manager or the chef...(I'd have to lie about that) It was my birthday 🎂, there was an ouzo before the meal, in the middle and at the end... I had to pass mine on... and many were surprised that I refused... but health comes first... It was a lovely evening and it certainly won't be the last time I dine here... From the bottom of my heart ❤️...gladly more than 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟...I'll be happy to come back...

The portions are very large and the meat quality is good. The premises have been renovated and the service was very friendly. The ambience and especially the language on the plates could be improved.

Very nice atmosphere, I discovered it from the lake while I was cycling. I had lunch. Tasty and plentiful, €17.20 for food and 1 cyclist, great view, friendly staff, clean toilets. What more could a guest want? Everything fine.

We finally made it to the Kouros restaurant in Pönitz. The lunch menu was great, both in terms of price and quantity. Nice and humorous service. Cheaper and better than the Greeks right on the coast in Scharbeutz, Haffkrug or Neustadt. Beautiful location on Lake Pönitz, with a terrace if the weather is right. We will eat and drink there more often in the future.

Food was ok, but nothing special in terms of taste. Service but very attentive! Unfortunately, the beautiful terrace outside was still set up, despite it being 19 degrees. But we're still keeping an eye on it😉

Ich war schon mehrfach mit meiner Familie vorort und es war jedes mal sehr lecker. Das Personal und die Ambiente ist sehr freundlich und gemütlich. Ich werde wieder kommen und kann das Restaurant nur Empfehlen.

Waren enttäuscht, da viele das Restaurant lobten. Aus diesem Grund wollten wir es ausprobieren. Das Gyros war verbrannt und zu trocken,als wäre es vom Vortag. Die Leber war okay und der Salat auch. Allgemein war das Essen nur lauwarm. Uns schockierte beim Bestellen, dass die Speisekarten lieblos "hingeworfen" wurde. Das Ambiente nicht sehr ansprechend und die Räumlichkeiten zu kalt. Wenn die Tür aufging zog es mächtig. Uns hat es nicht angesprochen.

Die gefüllten Weinblätter mit Reis sind der absolute Hammer. Toll gewürzt und super abgeschmeckt. Für meine Frau und mich der beste Grieche. Hinzu kommt der schöne Ausblick auf den großen See.

Ich habe im Dezember ein Essen nach der Trauerfeier meiner Mutter im Kouros gebucht. Vasilis hat ein tolles Buffet gemacht. Seine liebe Frau hat einen exzellenten Service gemacht. Das Essen war super lecker. Alle Gäste waren sehr zufrieden. Preis und Leistung sehr, sehr gut. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Tolles Ambiente, sauber und das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Bestellung wurde sehr schnell aufgenommen und das Essen kam sehr zügig. Es war sehr lecker und heiß. Portion völlig ausreichend, fast schon etwas zu viel. Aber preislich top 👍. Ich komme gerne mal wieder 🥰.

Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend bei Euch. Nach einer leckeren Vorspeisenplatte und Knoblauchbrot konnte auch die Hauptspeise mit Leber, Gyros, Hacksteak und und und überzeugen. Ich hatte das Gyros mit Pommes und Reis und kann mich nicht beschweren. Das Gyors super Gewürzt und die Pommes innen frisch und außen knusprig. Nur weiter zu emphelen.
