It's all about mass processing. The food arrives in 10 minutes and is lukewarm. The waitress is nice and tries everything. However, the restaurant isn't highly recommended.

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews here. A Greek restaurant which appears to be run by Thai people is not a problem at first but: when I ordered water it wasn't filled from a bottle and the background remained as an aftertaste. When the food arrived I thought the turkey steak was swimming in some kind of orange sauce with a handful of fries on the side, which I'd rather not say anything more about. At €18.90 per plate the price is quite high but the quality is poor. Incidentally, no one knew what a catering receipt was 😵‍💫 I would not recommend this place, if you absolutely have to eat please go three shops further or find somewhere else. In summary, with two children and two adults it was a disappointment for us.

The food is very bad. Not fresh (99% sure it's frozen gyro). The salad was almost certainly already prepared in the kitchen, as it arrived at the table in just a minute. I didn't touch it. Not recommended...really, not at all!

The food was prepared incredibly quickly from the start, so it couldn't have been fresh, but only warmed up. This was confirmed by the fact that some of the food wasn't actually warm. The tables and chairs were sticky and not very appetizing. Service was okay but not particularly professional. I wouldn't recommend it. The food also had no flavor.

We tried the restaurant on our vacation because we really enjoy Greek food. Unfortunately, we didn't like it. The fries were too dry for us. The gyro and the Metaxa sauce were quite tough for our taste, and we were glad we were finished. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

We were looking for lunch and were drawn to the restaurant by the yellow lunch signs. We received a very friendly welcome on the terrace. €11.90 for lunch is great. The drinks and food arrived very quickly. There was a salad, a main course, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with fruit sauce for dessert. We were full and found the food very tasty. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. We would eat there again.

We were so impressed. The location was perfect. The service was first-class. Our special requests were taken care of, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were very satisfied and would love to come back!

We ate at Olympia on Wednesday. Everything was fantastic. The taste and price were excellent, and the sea view was especially great. We'll be back on our next vacation. :)

We vacation in Scharbeutz every year and discovered this restaurant three years ago. Instead of overpriced currywurst fries with, in my opinion, disgusting, sticky curry sauce on the promenade, this is a wonderful treat and even cheaper. A three-course menu (salad, main course, and dessert, which is a delicious ice cream with fruit sauce). You shouldn't expect a five-star restaurant. For €11.90, the lunch menu is absolutely fantastic. In recent years, the prices have neither increased nor declined in quality! Absolutely fantastic. The food is served quickly, sometimes too quickly. One day during our vacation, the main course arrived even though the salad wasn't empty. But no matter, the important thing is that everything else is perfect. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, clean restrooms, and the food tastes great! There have been times when a piece of cartilage or something was in the food, but then it was only an isolated incident. I'd be happy to go back.

The service and food are excellent. The meat is grilled juicy, the fries are as they should be, the rice is fluffy, and the sauces are well-seasoned. The mocha is good; the second ouzo was swapped for ice at the server's request. I'd go back anytime!

Yes, I highly recommend it; you can eat very well and inexpensively here. On our trips through Scharbeutz, we always include a stop here. The service is always very good and friendly. Best regards, E.M.

Very friendly staff. The food was unfortunately only average. The pepper sauce and tzatziki were not very tasty. The meat skewer and fries were okay.

A very nice, well-kept restaurant. Very friendly staff. Prices: Everything was completely acceptable. What probably irritated me and others a bit was that the entire staff was of Asian origin. But, as a Greek, I'm only judging the food. It tasted really good and was very close to Greek. The chef is really good and it was very tasty. Existis pola and kaila epitasiaa Olmipaa.

We ate here three times while on vacation. Fast, friendly service, delicious food, and affordable prices. Our dog was also warmly welcomed—what more could you ask for?

It's more like a canteen. The price is good, the food is okay, but for €11.90 you only get simple food. It has little to do with Greek. There's nothing authentic about it. It's more simple, quick, and cheap. Fast food in a restaurant; the owner is certainly not Greek.

The Olympia isn't run by Greeks. That's a bit surprising. The Asian staff tried to make themselves understood. The quality of the food is good, but nothing special. I had calamari with fries, which came with a small dollop of garlic mayonnaise. Upon request, I was given a small sachet of mayonnaise for the fries 🍟. The calamari were coated in a thick layer of breading, which greatly diminished their flavor. The appearance was appropriate. I have no incentive to eat here again. What a shame!

Not recommended...the portion was OK, but the rice lacked much seasoning...the fries were too soft and light...some of the gyros were still raw, and the meat skewers were overcooked and tasted of old meat...I don't want to jinx rotten meat, but it was tasty, and the quality is different. We pointed this out to the waitress, but as "consolation," they only gave us an ouzo...we'll never need that again...

We've rarely been served so quickly. Too quickly? On this particular day, the weather was nice and it was very busy. Respect for the service, which kept up! Unfortunately, the staff didn't seem stressed either. Understandable. It's nice to sit outside, and if it gets a bit chilly, there are heat lamps. Unfortunately, no blankets. The orders were at the table in 5 minutes. Incredibly fast. The meals were delicious. Unfortunately, my bifteki somehow had some gristle in it. You know that feeling when you suddenly bite into something hard. You get a shock and it hurts. Not good at all. Well, the price was reasonable. On such occasional sunny days, parking near the restaurant is very limited. Further away, there are huge parking lots.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food came quickly, but unfortunately it didn't taste particularly good. It lacked the seasoning you'd expect from a Greek restaurant.

Hello to all guests, we can't give a review of the food for others. We can only say that the food was absolutely fantastic for us. The portions are generous, and the lunch menu is excellent value for money. Loang and her team always treat guests with great friendliness and leave no wish unfulfilled if it can be fulfilled. Thank you for many years of friendship, even when you were still operating in Grömitz. No journey is too far for us to visit you at least once a year. More often, if we have the time. We received a warm welcome, but were unfortunately disappointed by the food. The pepperoni was very good, but it only came with a small slice of bread roll. With the rump steak, I specifically requested it medium. I sliced ​​the steak, and it was cooked through. The €26 is not worth it at all. The fries are just plain frozen fries. I wouldn't come here again!

The service is friendly. But unfortunately, that's not the only thing that matters. When I go out to eat, I pay for the food and for it to taste good. I can't really say that here. It wasn't even average. After ordering, the food came out like an assembly line. Our souvlaki was tough. The tzatziki didn't taste good and wasn't really Greek. Of course, tastes differ. The nightstand was in the shape of a scoop of ice cream, a nice touch, but tasteless. Once and never again.

We spontaneously went there for dinner today. The staff were so incredibly friendly and accommodating, so wonderful! We sat inside because of the heat, and we felt welcome. The food came quickly and was pretty good. Our son even got a lollipop as a farewell treat.

Unfortunately, we couldn't understand the positive reviews: Chicken soup – I had specifically asked in advance whether the soup was made from chicken or powder. Unfortunately, they served a salty, overcooked mush that was inedible. The Greek salad was also very strange, and the coffee was just bitter and not at all aromatic... When I politely commented, we were loudly yelled at for ordering too little and practically kicked out.

We went there for lunch with the 3-course menu – a delicious mixed salad, a mixed grill (gyro, steak, meat roll), and a scoop of ice cream. They also offer a sauce, which wasn't for me, though, as it was a sweet and sour Asian sauce. It was tasty. But I personally would have preferred a Metaxa, as it's also Greek. The staff in the restaurant were all friendly and attentive. You could tell from the bamboo furniture and walls, as well as the staff, that there used to be an Asian employee there. This was confirmed when I asked a curious question. I really enjoy Asian food, but I think this business model hasn't worked out so well, as it's not the case for many people. So the owners did everything right: instead of closing down, they decided to relaunch it with a new idea. :) Many people enjoy Greek food. And the lunch dishes for 11.90 sell well. We had nothing to complain about. It was delicious and we enjoyed it! We'd love to come back next time we're on vacation up there.

A simply furnished Greek restaurant. If you're looking for Greek food, this is the place for you.

No culinary highlight but for a holiday destination the price-performance ratio was right

Of course, I can recommend this restaurant. We've been going to Sierksdorf for nine years and eat there very often. The large terrace offers a beautiful view of the beach promenade. There's also plenty of seating in the restaurant. Don't be surprised... the staff aren't Greek, but... the food is truly amazing Greek. The staff is super (child-)friendly, very patient, and very accommodating. The price, too, is unbeatable for Scharbeutz. We had a few special requests (due to food intolerances), and they accommodated everything. THANK YOU HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The restaurant is well located, the service is friendly, and the food is rather average. We were served quickly, and the food came (too) quickly. We had just started our salad when the main courses arrived. At one point, we wanted to order more drinks. The waiters regularly visited the adjacent tables, but they sometimes lacked the necessary 360-degree visibility to attract our attention without shouting loudly throughout the restaurant.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a real Greek restaurant, as the name and menu might suggest. The food was lukewarm, poorly presented, and of poor quality.

We came here because of the relatively good overall rating. The service is very attentive and hospitable. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the food was more than disappointing. The appetizer (salad, grilled feta, and garlic bread) was really not good, and we're pretty sure it was all just convenience foods. It was also served on greasy plates, and even I can dress things up better at home. The main course was marginally better, but again, the taste was nothing special, and it was again seemingly convenience foods.

They even charge for that. I'm really crying over my 33 euros. The starter was grilled feta. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't real feta. It was something pressed with onions and tomatoes. Nothing seasoned or just plain. The main course was a pepper sauce with no pepper flavor or peppercorns. In short, it was not edible. The plates were greasy and kind of weird. The overall impression here is that you get something for nothing. I regret having eaten there, or even just tried it. I threw the whole money out the window with two people.

Very friendly service. The fries are sensational. The baked potatoes are good, but the salad is a little lacking. Crispy white bread from a duck bag... Coleslaw, olives, and pepperoni from a jar, definitely not fresh. Nevertheless, we were satisfied and full.

But what happens when your expectations aren't met? I recently visited this Greek restaurant, run by an Asian. I was curious and thought maybe he'd bring a breath of fresh air to traditional cuisine. Unfortunately, I quickly discovered that the opposite was true. The dishes were far removed from what I knew and loved from Greece. It was disappointing how much of the typical Greek food culture had been lost. The service was friendly, without a doubt. But in the end, for many of us, the food matters more than the smiles of the staff. When you're hungry, you don't just want to be full, you also want to have the right taste experience. This restaurant, however, failed to capture the Greek flair. The feeling of having landed in a tourist trap grew stronger and stronger. "Shoemaker, stick to your last" – this saying came to mind. Not everyone can master all cuisines equally well. For lovers of Greek cuisine, it's sometimes better to stick with the specialists who truly know how to prepare these exquisite dishes. In summary, I can say that I certainly won't be visiting this restaurant again. There are simply too many others who prepare Greek cuisine the way it should be!

Had dinner there about 30 minutes ago. The food was subpar. Except the fries, which were delicious. We had the village plate and gyros gratinated with cheese in Metaxa sauce. The latter didn't taste like anything, the sauce was very watery. Except for the fries, mine was just lukewarm. The taste is so-so. Conclusion: Simply not recommended.

I had gyros with Metaxa sauce and cheese gratinated. It was just water and fat mixed together, and it wasn't cheese either.. The meat was full of lumps, dry.. probably fresh from the frozen food store. The service was still nice, but I'm giving it the star because of the food... really disgusting, I have to say. But you can eat the fries there.

In “Olympia” the Olympic spirit is reinterpreted: instead of Greek gluttony, friendly Asian service and small portions await you here. The food itself? Rather neutral in taste. Anyone hoping for the rustic warmth of a Greek chef or a charmingly blustering waiter will be disappointed here - the Greek staff is completely missing. That's what polite Asian hospitality is for. And the portions? Olympic discipline “Minimalism”. Anyone who is still hungry after the main course gets the opportunity to study the dessert menu intensively for free - purely out of survival instinct. What is really impressive, however, is the price: we paid over €20 per person for this tasteless international understanding. Conclusion: If you want to feel like you have entered a Greek tavern in a very wide parallel world, you shouldn't miss the experience.
