Nice little Greek restaurant on the Baltic Sea beach in Scharbeutz. Delicious food and friendly service. Prices are reasonable.

Nicely received by 3 Chinese people in the Greek restaurant 😂😂😂. But nice The gyro was dry and the fries were absolutely bad 🙅🏻‍♂️ plus the tzatziki was very bad, more like a herb quark But everyone's taste is different

Had dinner there about 30 minutes ago. The food was subpar. Except the fries, which were delicious. We had the village plate and gyros gratinated with cheese in Metaxa sauce. The latter didn't taste like anything, the sauce was very watery. Except for the fries, mine was just lukewarm. The taste is so-so. Conclusion: Simply not recommended.

I had gyros with Metaxa sauce and cheese gratinated. It was just water and fat mixed together, and it wasn't cheese either.. The meat was full of lumps, dry.. probably fresh from the frozen food store. The service was still nice, but I'm giving it the star because of the food... really disgusting, I have to say. But you can eat the fries there.

Had dinner there today after visiting the beach. Unfortunately, the food is heavily pre-prepared and contains many frozen products. It's not very lovingly prepared and the taste is rather mediocre. Had some of the food returned. No recommendation!

In “Olympia” the Olympic spirit is reinterpreted: instead of Greek gluttony, friendly Asian service and small portions await you here. The food itself? Rather neutral in taste. Anyone hoping for the rustic warmth of a Greek chef or a charmingly blustering waiter will be disappointed here - the Greek staff is completely missing. That's what polite Asian hospitality is for. And the portions? Olympic discipline “Minimalism”. Anyone who is still hungry after the main course gets the opportunity to study the dessert menu intensively for free - purely out of survival instinct. What is really impressive, however, is the price: we paid over €20 per person for this tasteless international understanding. Conclusion: If you want to feel like you have entered a Greek tavern in a very wide parallel world, you shouldn't miss the experience.

Today we were spontaneously hungry for a gyro plate and stopped at the Olympia. It's a Greek restaurant run by Asians... but so what? The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and attentive and we were completely satisfied. Thanks.

Unfortunately, we didn't like it at all, the gyro meat was so full of cartilage and fat that we couldn't eat it. Additionally, it was covered in 2 cm of fat, and the fries were wobbly and streaked with fat. For the price, something like that simply shouldn't be possible, almost 40 euros which we unfortunately had to throw away.

A small Bifteki was not possible because "Bifteki is already ready. Freshly made this morning!". So we ordered 2 x Bifteki in normal portion size. Both were so identical in size and so bad in terms of meat that they were definitely not homemade. The taste was fine, unfortunately there were no herbs or tomato pieces in it that would have made the whole thing a little juicier. The salad must have already been ready in the kitchen. This one came to the table so quickly.... The wine was ok. We won't be coming back.

Hmm, how should one fairly describe or rate this restaurant. The service is good, the staff is nice, friendly and helpful. The food, well that's where the dilemma begins. Well-intentioned, not well-done. We had gyros, souvlaki with fries and Viennese style schnitzel with fries. The side salad was standard, but perfectly fine and there's really nothing wrong with that. Some might expect something different, but it is solid. The fries were crispy and good, the salt content was at the top end of the scale for how much salt you should use. The gyros and the souvlaki tasted okay, but were too salty in combination with the fries. The schnitzel was frozen, so it was fried and it was okay. For dinner we had tzatziki, Metaxa sauce and an indefinable pepper paste. The tzatziki, well, a finished product and doesn't deserve the name. The Metaxa sauce, I have no idea what it was, but it wasn't Metaxa sauce. And the paste, I have no idea who came up with that. Well-intentioned is not well-done. It was and is a snapshot, but we won't eat here again.

Very nice restaurant. The ladies are very friendly and we were immediately told that we were welcome with a dog. We got a place by the window so that our dog could have a place near the heater as it was very cold outside. The food was good. Price performance is definitely great. We can recommend the Olympia Restaurant and would be happy to come back.

The food was totally over salted and on the table within 10 minutes. It definitely would have taken longer if it had been freshly prepared, but we would have been happy to accept it. We reported this when we paid and the reaction was totally unfriendly and unreasonable. We won't be going there again.

The most important thing in advance: the food tasted delicious. The warm pureed sheep's cheese was really great. The fries were crispy and the gyros were quite satisfying. The portion size was sufficient for us. The star deduction because of the not so cozy atmosphere. We would be happy to come back.

Asians run a Greek restaurant. It's their own fault that we went in. Service was very nice, you can't say anything about that... but the food has nothing to do with Greek cuisine🤷‍♂️ €11 for currywurst with fries on the promenade is 10 times better spent. Had dinner there again on October 24th. The fried 🐟fish was excellent. The 🍟 fries, the salad and the dessert 🍧 were delicious. You won't find a lunch like this for 11.90 euros anywhere else. I particularly liked the new operation. A real cutie ❤️ from Vietnam. After 6 months she still spoke little German but was super friendly and accommodating🌺🌼🌹.

We ate here with several adults and two children and found it good in terms of service, food, preparation time and price. The ambience could be improved for us, as it seemed quite cool, at least for the Greek conditions we are familiar with. In our opinion, it would also be desirable to install a changing facility in the toilet area, as you really have to improvise in this regard.

To be honest it's our own fault, what do you expect at that price. In fact, pretty much the worst Greek food we've ever had.

The food there is simply not recommended. Menu 1 gyro plate: The gyro was very dry, zazziki looked more like quark, the salad was very one-sided. Iceberg lettuce and a slice of cucumber. The only edible items were the fries. Menu 2 shrimp plate: My husband asked beforehand how many shrimp were on the plate. He said 8 pieces...he only got 6 pieces. And that for a price of almost 23 euros But unfortunately neither the rice nor the shrimp were edible. Menu 3 Wiener Schnitzel with fries: The meat was inedible, the breading of the schnitzel was very wobbly. Here too, the only thing you could eat were the fries. We paid immediately and weren't even asked whether it was tasty or why the plates were still so full. Well 61 euros for the bin 😞 Simply not recommended.

Wanted to eat at this restaurant this evening. Before we placed the food order, the salad arrived. We gave it back because the plates were so dirty, really disgusting. We canceled the food again and discovered that there was a fly in the beer and the cola glass was also dirty.

Lunch is so little, a small child won't be full. Thanks for the price, you feel a bit ripped off.

A Greek restaurant run by Asians, located directly on the beach promenade. We spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant when we took a trip to Scharbeutz. First of all, it smelled very good and typically Greek when we entered the restaurant. We received a friendly welcome, but were amazed that all the staff were of Asian origin. This is NOT racist, but simply unusual and has never happened to us anywhere. My wife and I both chose the grill plate, which we first had to ask to find out what components it consisted of. As a starter (first course) there was a very simple, but not bad salad plate, which only had the locality in common with a Greek salad without tomatoes, cheese, olives or peppers. The grill plate (2nd course) consisted of gyros (quite gristly for my wife, okay for me), a small meat roll, a small pork steak, French fries, tzatziki and a separate, cold sauce (similar to shish kebab). Overall it was okay, but not necessarily typically Greek in terms of taste. The dessert (3rd course) consisted of a scoop of vanilla ice cream with cold raspberry sauce, which was very tasty. Our little daughter (four and a half at the time of our visit) loves ice cream more than anything and had asked for an ice cream sundae instead of a warm meal. Unfortunately she didn't want to eat it, which really annoyed us. She is probably spoiled by our visits to the tastiest ice cream parlors, because the ice cream served here was clearly frozen Fürst Pückler ice cream, i.e. industrial ice cream from a package. There was no ouzo either at the beginning or at the end. And our daughter didn't get anything, even though there was a big stand of lollipops on the counter. When paying, there was annoyance with their strange handheld device that I had never seen before. Neither my ING debit card nor the brand new one from C24 Bank were accepted, not to mention payment by cell phone. So we had to use our cash unplanned, which was very annoying. We would definitely NOT choose this restaurant again.

You can't put it into words. The quality of the food was subpar. All the sauces tasted the same...Maggi Fix with a dash of sweet and sour. The service was very quick...a little too quick...within 16 minutes we had salads, starters and main courses on the table. We couldn't keep up with the food...we were far from having a pleasant evening. Since the place is run by Vietnamese...it would probably be more advantageous if they offered this there... The price wasn't the cheapest either...we've gotten much better quality in other restaurants for the same price this week...

The portion of fries for €5 could make you lose faith. Just the bottom of the plastic bowl was covered. The food was bland and expensive. This applies to meat, tzatziki and salad. The employee was very friendly despite communication problems.

Were there today to buy bubble tea. It wasn't good bubble tea. I said less sweet please. However, a lot of syrup was added and it was terribly sweet. My companion ran out of green tea when refilling it. Then the cup was simply filled with water. But you can't taste the missing tea anyway because it was so terribly sweet. 6.50 euros per tea. Way too expensive for the quality.

We were just there for dinner, it was... A TOTAL FAILURE. Had gyros with sheep's cheese, the sheep's cheese was poured over it as a sauce, inedible. The gyro also left a lot to be desired, it was limp and greasy. The rice was steeped in tomato soup and otherwise tasteless. What can I say, the fries were at least okay. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this location! DAMAGE TO MONEY

A Greek restaurant directly on the Strandallee in Scharbeutz towards the Baltic Sea. Lots of seating, even covered outside. Food was okay (I didn't find my meat very tasty). The lunch menu is definitely cheap, and there's even a scoop of ice cream after your meal. Unfortunately, there are none of the 12 dishes that are vegetarian. The staff was friendly and, above all, super fast. Reasonably priced. Visited as a couple on a Friday afternoon in mid-August.

Terrible! That's not Greek. These are a few Asian guys trying to run a Greek restaurant. The worst Greek farmer's salad of my life and expensive too. This has absolutely nothing to do with Greek food.

So this restaurant has nothing to do with Greek. The only thing that works well is the friendliness and the fries go quite well... but demands have to be written down very small here. It's a shame actually...

While passing by, I spotted the lunch menu for under €12 and ordered it. 3-course menu is a bit exaggerated and the portions were a bit too small (for me). But everything (salad, pork rolls with fries and ice cream with fruit sauce) tasted very good. And the staff was friendly and quick.

The lunch menu for 11.90 euros is an absolute recommendation. Starter, e.g. grill plate and a small ice cream for less than 12 euros. Cheapest offer in all of Scharbeutz. You shouldn't expect star cuisine but it is delicious and the staff is really friendly and personable. We'll be back.
