Restaurant Corfu - In Haffkrug an der Seebrücke in Scharbeutz

The food was truly delicious, and the service staff was very friendly. The ambiance is very simple, but that doesn't bother us. The first two points are important to us, and they won us over. We'd love to come back next time we vacation in Haffkrug. 🌺

A busy restaurant with very tasty food. The grilled platter(s) offer a good selection and generous portions. The grilled eggplant, coleslaw, and gyro are all excellent! The prices are also reasonable for the area.

We came as tourists to the restaurant and first the ad outside is misleading since the price was completely different. Second, very bad service - took a long time to take our order through the place was mostly empty. They ignored us for most of the time and the food arrived after a long time soggy and flavour less. But.. expensive. We got out hungry and angry and I really recommend not to go there

Very friendly service, delicious food. There were three of us. We had one gyro, one lamb chop, and one bifteki. We were very satisfied. Only the rice was a bit watery. Prices were reasonable. Special shoutout to Roooooobert. 😀

Gyros was delicious, but I understand a side salad to be something other than a few chopped cucumbers and tomatoes without dressing

The coleslaw was completely bland (lacking acidity, salt, and pepper), the fries were unsalted, and the tzatziki was completely flavorless (no garlic, barely any salt or pepper). The gyro was quite well seasoned and cooked, but overall, it wasn't anything special.

A very pleasant Greek restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, even to children – truly child-friendly. The dishes were delicious and freshly prepared. The prices are typical for Greek cuisine and absolutely reasonable. All in all, a relaxing visit – perfect!

We ate here today at this small but lovely Greek restaurant, and we enjoyed it so far. The meat and rice could have used a bit more seasoning. However, you could add salt and pepper at the table, and everything was perfect 👌 and the price was perfectly reasonable. We'll be back.

The service was super friendly, and even though we didn't have a reservation for inside, we were offered a seat. Before the main course, we had a salad (which is very rare these days). For the main course, we had a suvaki plate and a grill plate. Both dishes were very tasty and the portions were generous. I do have a few criticisms: the salad and grill plate were a bit too oily for me. Sometimes less is more. But that's all a matter of taste. We definitely recommend it.

The friendliness left a lot to be desired. Additionally, the size and quality of the food are not recommended. We took the food to go and asked about the portion size before ordering. Unfortunately, the description indicated the size of the packaging, not the food itself. For example, there were 6 thin mini slices of baked eggplant dripping with fat. They came with 2 tablespoons of tzatziki and 1/2 slice of baguette. The Pom Gyro was a better size, but unfortunately, it didn't taste good. Unfortunately, we can't recommend it.

We visit Hafkrug almost every year, but ate here for the first time yesterday. The restaurant is decorated in a typical Greek style, and Greek music immerses you in a Greek dream. The service was very friendly! Gyros with fries and coleslaw. Very tasty! The meat was very juicy, and the fries weren't too dry. Truly delicious. We'll be regulars from now on.

The food was ready very quickly, but unfortunately the meat was completely tasteless and unseasoned, with lots of lumps of fat, and the rice was unrecognizable. The fries were okay, as was the tzatziki. It's a shame about the ingredients; we won't be back.

The food was very good (a Lindos platter) and plentiful. Reservations are recommended. The wait was about 40 minutes. But the restaurant was completely full. Afterward, of course, there's the usual ouzo.

The food was average, the service very unfriendly and not at all talkative. A regular meal was turned into a senior's plate for the same price as a regular meal. Children's cutlery was only available upon request, and then only a cake fork and spoon. Outdoor tables are disadvantageous for restaurants, as cutlery falls through the cracks. It's generally very hectic there at lunchtime, and the food is quite small for a lot of money.

A small Greek restaurant right in the center of Haffkrug by the sea. The food was good, the location was good, and the atmosphere was okay.

Phew, the wait was really long; it felt like an eternity before anyone even noticed us. The food was nothing special, a standard gyro I'd say. The beer was unfortunately much too warm, and the Coke was also at room temperature (a shame). I have to say, when we were there, it wasn't really that busy, and despite that, we had to wait forever!

Unfortunately, I can't give a review. We were there as a family of four at 1 p.m., and all the tables were free. When I asked if it was open, I was told it wouldn't open until 2 p.m. Too bad, we were looking forward to some delicious Greek food. I guess we'll have to go to Scharbeutz or Neustadt instead. They should revise the opening hours; everyone was disappointed.

Wir sind spontan hier eingekehrt und hätten uns später gewünscht, keinen Platz bekommen zu haben. Die Bedienung war nett, das Essen ist nicht zu empfehlen.Gyros war okay, Suzuki fast ungenießbar. Dazu gab es ganze 2 Teelöffel Zaziki, Pommes und ein Schälchen lieblosen Salat aus großen Tomaten- und Gurkenwürfeln und etwas Kraut. Beim Besuch der Toilette bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass es in der Küche nicht genauso dreckig ist.

I've never eaten such unbelievably bad pita. Anyone can make it at home! I'd be ashamed if this were my restaurant! It seemed to me as if every last bit of leftover food was simply slapped onto the plates!

We eat there every time we're in Haffkrug. Great service, very friendly, and always delicious.

We often visit Haffkrug, and we really enjoy going there. The owner (?) is ALWAYS there and ALWAYS friendly, making every effort to make room even in the smallest hut. The food is consistently good, and even the drinks were quickly brought in once because they were sold out, and I was able to get my desired drink 20 minutes later. We will continue to enjoy eating here :)

The food was OK. The service was friendly, but we waited a long time. The table was dirty, drinks were forgotten, and the salad was brought out later when we asked for it. We were asked to pay three times. They asked if we wanted an ouzo, which was nice, but they forgot. We then had to wait another 30 minutes after we got the bill. We then went inside to pay ourselves. We were there for over 2.5 hours in total, for two meals. My conclusion: not recommended.

It was definitely worth it 👍. The gyros were very well seasoned, crispy, and plentiful 😋. The salad and tzatziki were also great 👍.

Friendly service and delicious food.

We received a warm welcome. Although all the tables were reserved, the friendly waitress (the owner?) saved a table for us. The food was fantastic; they still cook with love. Given the business, he can be forgiven for briefly forgetting our second drinks. Every time he passed us, he gave us a smile, even though we could see how stressed he was. It's a small and cozy restaurant. It has some dated furnishings, but that's exactly what I'd expect from a Greek family restaurant. We'd love to come back.

Gyros with fries to go was very tasty and a good portion for €13.

Grottenschlecht !👎 Pommes aufgewärmt Salat von vorgestern Gyros war ungenießbar 😡! Lamkeule war auch gesmakslos in eine Tomatensoße mit weißen Bohnen gedrenkt 👎! Mussten zwar nach unsere Beschwerde nur noch die Getränke zahlen mochte aber hiermit potentielle Gästen von diesen laden fern halten 🤮

Unheimlich lange Wartezeit, die Getränke haben über eine halbe Stunde gedauert, die Vorspeise (Knoblauchbrot) dauerte eine Stunde, zur Hauptspeise dann nochmal eine halbe Stunde. Der Service war komplett überfordert, trotz der wenigen Tische. Das Besteck war leider auch schmutzig. Das Essen war mittelmäßig, Imbisqualität zum Restaurant Preis.

A really cozy, slightly rustic place. But in any case homely with appealing music. The gyro was tender, well seasoned and arrived after just over 10 minutes. The side rice with peppers was juicy and went well with it. I also have only good things to say about the small side salad with cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber and peppers. The waitress was extremely friendly and discreetly inquired whether everything was correct. Nice restaurant, gladly again. P.S. I was here out of season - so it was very quiet in Scharbeutz and the restaurant (one of two open) was not very busy.

The service was very friendly and we asked if we were satisfied. You can also no longer get the delicious ouzo on the house everywhere. We can recommend the restaurant.

We ate there twice during our 6 day vacation. It was delicious, tasty and fresh both days. The boss and the waitress were very friendly and accommodating. Great value for money! We'll come back when we're back in Haffkrug.

Gyros from the rotisserie!! This is advertised on the sign in front of the door and in the menu. All I can hear from the kitchen is the sound of frying from the pan... and really: I got fried gyros from the pan. And that's exactly how it tasted.... Inexplicably, the shop was full, so I didn't say anything in front of everyone. I can buy cheap gyros from the pan in any discount store and I don't have to spend 15 euros for that... very disappointing

Nice, quick service. It's been a long time since there was a Greek who ended up with an Uzo. Salad freshly made, fries and gyros delicious and a completely satisfying portion.

Unfortunately only a 3rd classic tie. The service is the only ray of sunshine here. Very nice and reliable. The food wasn't quite as good. Had bifteki and unfortunately it was shoe sole and dry. The fries weren't really done yet either. Even the tzatziki was terrible for Greece. The atmosphere is old-fashioned and simple. So for me 1st and last time.

2. Addendum Gyros is no longer recommended. Addendum: I now have a gyro plate. Super good gyros... haven't had them for a long time 👍 The fries are great too. They are a little wider, juicier, but still crisp on the outside. I only ate fries, but the service was very good. What I found best was that the boss doesn't throw you out at the end of the day and you can drink your beer or wine in comfort. According to the boss, no one will be sent out. Very likeable 👍

Had mixed starter and Apollo plate. Tztziki not very spicy, gyros good but unfortunately a bit cold, bifteki good, suflaki hard, dry and basically inedible. Liver too. Rice cool and rather bitter. Maybe it was because the restaurant was full, but that shouldn't be a reason. My first visit was also my last - unfortunately.

Unfortunately, poor, not really friendly service. When we asked for a large fries, we didn't just get normal ones. They could also have offered a double fries. The salad was warm rather than cold and very fatty. The gyros and bifteki were very dry and tasteless. When you order the mayo you get a tube from Lidl on your table. Price performance doesn't fit here. Fries / gyros / salad 16 euros.. to go For 13 euros definitely not worth the money

The food really tasted excellent and the service was also very polite. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. You can't complain, everything is as it should be. I can highly recommend the 15 on the menu. The drink selection is standard. The restaurant is clean, small, and it fits perfectly with the beach, not too fancy. Update: we've been here 3 times now, and each time it was delicious.

The food was so-so. The calamari was a tasteless frozen ready-made product. I can't confirm that the fries were homemade, as mentioned in a review here. The gyros were well seasoned and really tasty. My daughter's chicken nuggets were fried to death and far dry. Prices are reasonable. All in all disappointing.

Wanted to get takeaway food for the family today. No dishes to pick up today because there is too much to do. But it's outside. Should come back tomorrow. But I'm going back home tomorrow. So briefly about Rewe 🫤 I'll avoid the restaurant on my next vacation! The staff was also unfriendly.

Cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been transported to Greece. We had grilled pepperoni and garlic bread with tzaziki in advance (all very tasty, tzaziki a bit low). The coleslaw was very tasty, the rest of the salad was more standard. The grilled eggplant was very good, gyros was okay. The bifteki was delicious. We've had much better gyros in metaxa sauce. The overly thick layer of cheese ruined it a bit, and it was also very oily. The service was sometimes a bit grumpy. When clearing away the starter, for example, we wanted to keep the rest of the salad, but the plate was basically thrown back on the table... that didn't make us feel so comfortable...
