Wir waren mit unserer kleinen Tochter hier und haben uns total wohlgefühlt. Man ist super auf kleine Kinder eingestellt und auch die Kinderpizza kam als Highlight in Form eines Hasen. Der Pizzateig war sehr lecker und schön knusprig dünn. Es hätte lediglich ein wenig mehr Tomatensoße auf den Pizzen sein können. Zum Nachtisch gab es Tiramisu und das können wir nur empfehlen. Super lecker!

Every time we are in Scharbeutz with our kids, we come to eat here. We were always served very kindly and attentively on every visit. The food tastes very good and we feel very comfortable. I can highly recommend the lasagna. We'll be back.

Da die Trattoria Martinello so viele positive Bewertungen hat, entschlossen wir uns es auch mal zu probieren und wurden leider enttäuscht. Die Pizza Parma schmeckte sehr neutral, kein Pfiff, selbst der Parmasan war geschmacksneutral und der Parmaschinken hatte einen sehr unangenehmen Schweinegeschmack. Kein Vergleich zu einem guten Parna oder San Daniele Schinken. Getränkpreise etwas überzogen für die Klasse dieses Restaurants. Schade der Teig der Pizza schön dünn, aber wenn der Rest nicht schmeckt, rettet es das Ergebnis auch nicht. Der Service war nett und freundlich aber auch das reicht für uns nicht, das wir die Trattoria wieder besuchen.

Die Küche ist offen einsehbar. Angelo macht dort seelenruhig und mit seiner Erfahrung mehrerer Jahrzehnte Pasta und Pizza wie in Süditalien. Ich fand es mega lecker, und die Preise sind fair. Die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber so ist das nun mal in bella Italia.👌

We were in Scharbeutz for three days at the end of October. On the first evening we wanted to go to Trattoria Martinello, on the other days other restaurants had already been reserved. In the end, however, we canceled the other reservations and stayed here all three days because it was so delicious, friendly and simply familiar. The food tasted great every time. The pasta dishes always had a lot of flavor, and the pizza was also very tasty. There was plenty of parmesan and, if desired, homemade oil for seasoning. The service was great and we were welcomed “like family” on the second day. The small restaurant is very cozy and we felt completely at home. We have been in Scharbeutz for many years and have tried many restaurants there. But now we have definitely changed our regular Italian restaurant.

We are always amazed by the food and the wines on offer. This is also the case at the turn of the year 2024/2025. Very tasty 5-course menu with appropriate time between courses. The service is always nice and friendly, the atmosphere is cozy. After eating and toasting, we sat and chatted together with friends and the Rosati couple. An all-round successful evening. We spent a great New Year's Eve at Trattoria Martinello. We were treated to a very, very tasty New Year's Eve menu. The atmosphere was very relaxed and with the lovely owner couple, we sat together very nicely after midnight and let the evening end. We have already made the next reservation for March. We can only recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful New Year.

Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und wie in Italien. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Die Bruschette und die Fischsuppe schmeckten vorzüglich. Die Pasta mit Trüffel und auch die Pizza waren richtig gut. Leider hatten wir keinen Platz mehr für einen Nachtisch. Ein Restaurant mit Charme. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Food very good. Tiramisu incredibly good. Rarely have we eaten such good food and we have eaten tiramisu many times. The service was noticeably attentive. We'll think about it when we're in the area again

Super delicious food and everything freshly made. Almost everything is 100% homemade: from schnapps to tiramisu. The waitress was also really nice and the chef popped in from the kitchen to ask how it tasted. Everything is really perfect here! In terms of ambience, 4/5 stars because of all the nearby tables, but that's somehow pleasant. All in One a highly recommended restaurant. Hope the store holds up! :)

“A culinary highlight – best pizza and more!” This pizzeria is an absolute insider tip! The pizza was excellent: crispy base, perfectly topped and incredibly tasty. I was also impressed by the Vitello Tonnato – tender veal, perfectly seasoned. To top it all off, there was a tiramisù that was simply heavenly: creamy, light and exactly how it should be. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere cozy and inviting. Here you can feel the passion for good food. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Very very good service and delicious food. A sweet little Italian restaurant with all sorts of Italian specialties, the Vitello Tonnato was particularly excellent. Wir waren gestern im Restaurant als Paar essen. Die Pizza mit Pfifferlingen und Speck war echt in Ordnung. Meine Frau hatte für 19,9 € Spaghetti mit frischen Trüffeln bestellt. Sie bekam ihren Teller mit einem Mü an aufgehobelten Trüffel, man konnte den Trüffel kaum feststellen; das war dann für 50 Cent Einsatz für die Spaghetti und 10 Cent für 0,1 Gramm Trüffel ein gutes Geschäft.... Der Rotwein ist halt typisch Italiener - Geschmack nach Grossflasche und geradeso irgendwie trinkbar.

We ordered pizza to pick up. Unfortunately the order was not as ordered. Three completely different pizzas, 2 of which were supposed to be the same according to the order. The quality of the pizza was okay, but the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right. For three pizzas (including a margarita and originally 2 pepperoni) 42€, that's quite a lot...

We definitely don't like pizza. Much too thin, hardly any coating on it. Got cold, completely hard on the edge. Inedible. Even almost 13€ for a Margherita is too much for the pizza. Never again Cash only, not friendly on the phone.

Wir kamen gegen 20 Uhr in Scharbeutz an und ich fragte bei Martilnello nach zwei Pizzen. Wurde auf 40 Minuten vertröstet, obwohl im Restaurant fast alle schon gegessen hatten. Um 21 Uhr waren die beiden Pizzen endlich fertig. Naja, die Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig. Zwei Pizzen für 28 €. Hier hat sich das warten nicht gelohnt. Preisleistung steht im keinen Verhältnis.

The pizza scampi dough was a bit too salty; Still very tasty - that's why only 4/5 stars. Service was a bit restructured, which I attribute to the heat (August 29th, 7:30 p.m. & 29⁰C) - but that shouldn't happen - otherwise very attentive. Ambience could have been a little more spacious. Otherwise well maintained. Indoor area could not be viewed as we sat outside.

Was there with my family, nice service, perfect pizza! Traditional Italian cuisine as you imagine it.

We wanted to order food for a family. However, there was an extremely rude person on the phone. At first she put me away for minutes and when I asked how long the meal would take she informed me that she was a waitress and not the cook. Since we have children and it was just before 7 p.m., we couldn't rely on the offer of a call as soon as the food was ready. We then left our money in another restaurant, where we were served politely and gratefully.

Highly recommended! A spontaneous visit with takeaway food. We ordered pasta and as soon as we entered the restaurant we noticed how cozy and friendly everything was. The service was very friendly. At home we discovered how good the food tasted. Next time we would like to come and eat directly on site and look forward to it!

Had a nice meal at this Italian restaurant. Slightly more expensive than what we are normally used to. But that was also the purpose of a town on the coast. But pizza and pasta tasted delicious. Friendly employees and the food was served quickly. Definitely worth recommending.

We came here spontaneously and got a table for two with enough space for the stroller in the cozy winter garden. The two waitresses were super nice, on the ball and helpful. The food was really good. The pizzas are nice and flat and taste great - the truffle pasta is great. We always like it when there is house wine. We'll be happy to come back on our next visit to Scharbeutz :)

We went to this trattoria for the first time because we wanted to eat original/authentic Italian food. Fantastic, large, fresh king prawns and spaghetti alio olio, calamari salad - all the finest. Here Chef Angelo only cooks with fresh products. Tiramisu delicious. Service/Marina Very attentive. If I lived in Scharbeutz, Martinello would be worth eating well here on a regular basis. Price/performance ratio is right. Thank you for a nice evening.

If you like pizza with an extra crust and few toppings, you've come to the right place! We first had to wait 20 minutes longer than we were promised. Maybe they counted the cheese in the meantime, which didn't end up on our pizza? When we finally got the pizzas and started eating, we realized the crust was so big we thought we had ordered bread. The coating was so sparse that you had to look for it with a magnifying glass. In any case, we didn't get enough of it. And then the cherry on top: The waitress probably thought she was the “PrankBros” and said it would be funny to tell us that cutlery for the pasta we ordered would cost an extra 5 euros. Haha very funny! Maybe they should work in the comedy industry, because as a waitress it was a real flop. Conclusion: If you're hungry and like to be made fun of, this is your place. For everyone else: Better go somewhere else!

The pizza was very sparingly topped and the taste didn't suit our taste. Price for the covering is excessive.

For me the world's best pizza ever. crispy thin base, fresh from the charcoal oven. very large and also properly topped. Very friendly staff, everything seemed very familiar. Inside is a cozy guest room, also beautifully decorated without being kitsch. If I could I would even give it 10 stars.

We had the pleasure of visiting Trattoria ~ Pizzeria Martinello recently and all we can say is that it was a fantastic experience. We ordered a Margherita pizza and lasagne, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! The pizza was baked to perfection with a crispy crust and fresh ingredients, while the lasagna was rich and flavorful, just as it should be. The service was exceptionally nice and friendly, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and it was clear that a lot of emphasis is placed on hospitality here. There were four of us there today. The best Italian I've been to in a long time. The carpaccio was amazing and the pizzas and pasta we ordered also left nothing to be desired. Super nice staff. We will definitely come back again while we are still here on vacation.

Small, nice pizzeria near the Baltic Sea. We were there with 6 people (4 adults and 2 children). We had reserved in advance. The service was very nice. There was a wait, but it was still bearable. The pizza was very tasty. For the children, the salami pizza was designed as a fish. Very attentive. Unfortunately you couldn't pay by card. Otherwise very nice there.

Absolute recommendation for brilliant food and a real restaurant feeling. By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. Super nice staff, orders are still written down by hand and the food takes a little longer to prepare, but it is super fresh and without any convenience. Inn as it once was and should still be. The waitress was super nice and accommodating. The carpaccio was good to eat and the two types of pizza that I tried were also extremely good. Super thin pizza base (~ 2mm), plenty of semola and a crust that shows that it came from a stone oven with a lot of heat. If I weren't a tourist but a local resident, I would have found a new local bar.

Really great quality. My son and I came here spontaneously. We were lucky that we got a table for two. I would never have expected it from the ambience, but the food was of very good quality and really authentic. Rarely eaten a Diavola where the salami was really spicy. Service was super friendly even though we were really stressed because it was Father's Day weekend and the weather was great.

We have been living in the Scharbeutz/Lübeck area for 5 years. Now we have finally found an Italian who still knows his craft. The best pizza up here in the north. Great dough, wonderful topping. The appetizer was also delicious. Vitello Tonnato with homemade sauce. And the dessert was really “home-made”. This is still cooking and not warmed up or simply put in the oven. This will be our regular place. Finally not a shikimi restaurant like so many on the coast. Worth every penny. Finally real food on the plate and no fillers, flavor enhancers and preservatives. Here the boss still cooks personally and with a lot of heart. Eat like in Italy with “original Italians” in the kitchen! A dream!

Seit 5 Jahren wohnen wir im Umkreis von Scharbeutz/Lübeck. Nun endlich haben wir einen Italiener gefunden, der noch sein Handwerk kennt. Die beste Pizza hier oben im Norden. Toller Teig wunderbarer Belag. Vorspeise war auch supi lecker. Vitello Tonnato mit hausgemachter Soße. Und der Nachtisch wirklich "home-made".Hier wird noch gekocht und nicht aufgewärmt oder einfach in den Ofen geschoben. Dies wird unser Stammlokal. Endlich mal kein Schikimilokal, wie so viele an der Küste. Jeden Cent wert. Endlich wahre Nahrungsmittel auf dem Teller und kein Füllmaterial, Geschmacksverstärker und Konservierungsmittel. Hier kocht der Chef noch persönlich und das mit ganz viel Herz.

We are the typical vacationers/walk-in customers. I spontaneously went to the restaurant to order 4 pizzas. However, orders are only accepted by telephone. Even though I was already in the restaurant. I find that ridiculous. I could have stood in the restaurant and spoken to the person on the phone and then I would have been served. Then we went to the restaurant across the street and everything worked fine there.

The restaurant was full, and the offer to call us when seats became available worked. Staff very friendly. The olives that were ordered in advance were forgotten. 3 cannelloni in a dish for adults, no children's menu, and we found that at a price of €15.50 not enough. You won't get tired of it. The pizza wasn't that great either, hardly any tomato sauce, so it was very dry. Curiously, the dough was still soggy in the middle. Overall edible but we've had better experiences.

We had a great meal here yesterday! When you enter the store, you don't initially expect what's behind it. Once you turn the corner into the dining room and you're sitting in the cozy little Italian restaurant next door. If you love good pizza with a thin base and crispy edges, this is the place for you. Also worth mentioning is the homemade tiramisu, simply delicious! Service is still alive here, the staff is super friendly and the chef comes personally and asks if it tastes good. We will be back!
