We hadn't made a reservation. The tables are set up in a kind of conservatory and are close together. This means you inevitably hear every word from the next table, which detracts somewhat from the cozy atmosphere. The tables and chairs are reminiscent of patio furniture. It's a very small restaurant, and patio heaters provide warmth. The menu is very stylish, and there's also a menu featuring seasonal highlights. The wait times were reasonable. We had spaghetti with shrimp in tomato sauce. It was delicious. Parmesan cheese was served separately in a small dish. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, our appetizer was forgotten, which wasn't a huge deal, but still a shame. The homemade iced tea was very tasty. The price/performance ratio is okay. I appreciated that dessert was offered after the meal. The wine was delicious; all in all, it was a lovely evening.

The staff not only impressed with their competence, but they were also incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. It was actually very nice there. The atmosphere was really cozy and, above all, nice and warm in the cold season. Unfortunately, we waited a long time for our food. My pumpkin cream soup didn't taste like pumpkin, but the lasagna was very tasty. I also enjoyed the iced tea.

It was a wonderful evening in the winter garden. After we ordered, we were able to watch the team; everyone was exceptionally friendly to all the guests. You don't see that very often. Our food was served, and we were thrilled just by looking at it; it was lovingly prepared, everything perfect, and the taste was fantastic. After paying, we asked if there was a table available for the two of us the next day. Of course...where would you like to sit? Inside this time, I'd love to. It was very cozy, and the service was lovely again. We ordered other dishes and were just as impressed. When we got home, we immediately called to make a reservation for three evenings in October. The ambiance looked very appealing, so yesterday we were three guests. When ordering, I had a request: a change to a dish that wasn't on the menu. The waitress replied with a smile, "No problem, we'll probably manage that!" You rarely hear a sentence like that in a restaurant. The food was impeccable, the service attentive, yet not intrusive. Well, all I can say to the team is, "Keep it up, we'll always be happy to be a guest at il Mio 😉

We were at IL Mio today. Unfortunately, it wasn't great. We waited over an hour for food. 30 minutes for drinks. No indication that it might take longer or even an apology. No bread or anything similar to tide us over. Of the five people, the child's meal, pasta with tomato sauce, was the last to arrive. The pizza was okay and Italian, but it could definitely be better and crispier. All the tables looked grumpy because they had to wait so long. If it takes a long time, you can either reduce the number of tables or bridge the time with friendliness or alternatives. But it wasn't great. Conclusion: The food was okay, nothing special, the service was nothing. It was hard to find staff, but a 4.4 doesn't justify a rating in my opinion.

We are passionate about Scharbeutz vacations and visited this lovely restaurant twice in the last week. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and modern. The staff is super friendly, and the food is excellent. We're looking forward to our vacation next year and would definitely come back.

Dinner at il Mio was simply fantastic! The pasta with tender steak strips was a dream – the pasta was cooked to perfection, the meat was tender as butter and full of flavor. The appetizers were also a delight: fresh, lovingly presented, and prepared with great finesse. The drinks menu is excellently coordinated and rounds off the experience perfectly. Hello, my wife and I were at this restaurant today for her birthday. We arrived around 9:30 PM, although the restaurant actually closes at 10 PM, but we were politely invited in anyway. After a friendly greeting, it was immediately apparent that the waiter, Navid, takes his job seriously. We ordered lasagna, pasta aglio e oglio, but no problem, with prawns as an extra, and bruschetta. The food arrived within 10 minutes, the service was first-class, and we even got bread. Navid was really accommodating, as was the entire team. We would also like to thank you very much for the extra shot and are 1000% satisfied. Thank you for the unforgettable evening, thank you for the service, Navid, and I hope you get a raise soon, no matter how much you earn. Thank you also for baking extra bread for us.

We spontaneously stopped by this evening, having just arrived in Scharbeutz. Luckily, there was a free table in the cozy outdoor area/winter garden where we could sit for two (one with a wheelchair). The table was reserved for a later time, which was clearly communicated. That was perfectly fine for us. Service was very friendly and attentive. We heard two ladies at the next table raving about the delicious lasagna and a pasta dish. Motivated, we ordered truffle pasta with chicken pieces "il Mio" and penne with beef strips. See photos. We were absolutely thrilled with the delicious sauces and the excellent taste of the dishes. The portions were sufficiently large. You can, of course, now also pay by card. Please note that this authentic Italian family-run restaurant has only been open for about 2.5 months, so ignore previous negative comments. It's worth a try. We've decided to definitely go there again during our vacation.

We had reserved a table for two people for 6:00 p.m. the day before. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:00 p.m. After no one from the service team contacted us after 20 minutes so we could place our food order, I approached the service team myself as a guest to place our food order. After another 30 minutes without anything happening, we asked again when our food would be arriving. After another 10 minutes of waiting, our order finally arrived. In total, we had to wait an hour for our food. Our overall impression is that the staff and the kitchen were completely overwhelmed with the volume of guests. We cannot recommend the restaurant at all.

We ate at Il Mio in Scharbeutz twice within a week. Everything was absolutely fantastic on the first visit: The spaghetti carbonara was perfect – beautifully creamy, authentic, and typically Italian. The portion was just right, too. Making a reservation went smoothly, and we were even able to sit outside – very pleasant! Unfortunately, the second visit was a bit different: Although we had originally agreed to sit outside, we were denied this time – a shame. Furthermore, the carbonara portion was huge, and the egg was already quite hard, which could indicate a different chef. Nevertheless, the service was consistently friendly and accommodating, and all the staff are very welcoming. Overall, a nice place with potential – we'll definitely be back, but hope for more consistency in the cuisine and organization.

You could tell everything was fresh and prepared with love. We especially recommend the Tagliatelle al Salmone; I've never tasted anything as good as this! If you're ever in Scharbeutz, a visit to Il Mio is a must!

Trattoria Martinello became Restaurant il Mio in 2025. We visited there several times with our family during our vacation in May 2025 and can only say that both the food and the service were excellent. We will definitely be back! :-)

We had pizza here one evening with our 2-year-old son during our vacation. The food was truly amazing and delicious, and the service was exemplary. They regularly asked if everything was okay or if we had any requests, not intrusively, but in a friendly manner. We enjoyed it so much that we went back a second time during our short stay.

We ate there today and were blown away. I've never eaten such a delicious pizza. The waitress/waiter was super friendly, competent, and attentive. And very child-friendly.
