Super delicious food, friendly service who even accommodated special requests. We'd love to come back!

We got three pizzas to take away, each for just under €17, and were quite disappointed, especially for the price. The pizzas were a type of pan pizza, quite greasy, with some of the crust and base burnt. The ingredients on the pizza were at least fresh and tasty, even if the mushrooms were also partially burnt. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place for pizza.

Not recommended, service is rude! Gave €40! Got €3 back! Even though it was €27! Pizza wasn't cooked through, olives were completely soggy, pepperoni stems were still on the pizza! Small pizza, a cup of coffee, and a small Coke for €27. Dear East/North, people like that ruin your beautiful beach life! I would have eaten at Gösch for value for money and gone home happy! On top of that, the outside area was empty, so... I'm so sick of this shit. Ugh!

We were unfortunately very disappointed with our visit. We've been eating at Salentino since the 90s. Just not in the last few years because we haven't been here. I think maybe the owner has changed!? But unfortunately, the food was terrible. The pizza was okay, but I think the dough was overcooked. Tortellini were okay, but they weren't fresh either. The steak was a complete disaster and simply impossible to eat. It's a shame, we always enjoyed it, but we'll probably go somewhere else in the future.

We visited this restaurant for the first time today. It wasn't busy, so our order was taken quickly. The pizza arrived very quickly, too. Unfortunately, it was burnt around the edges, and the mushrooms were also very dark. As soon as the first person finished their pizza, our plates were cleared away in a flash. We were truly speechless. In summary: We didn't feel comfortable there, and the pizza wasn't good either.

We were there with our two children and our dog. Our dog was allowed in. Our eldest (3) was hungry for spaghetti bolognese – of course, we granted her request. When we then ordered "only" two coffees (a cappuccino and a regular) and an apple spritzer, the staff immediately became rude and started ranting in Italian to our colleagues. The staff hurriedly ate their well-earned lunch in the customer service area. The coffee was good, the customer service was abysmal, and the food was okay. We won't be going back.

Absolute disaster! Stay away from Restaurant Salentino! The pizza is a disgrace – unloving, bland, and simply inedible. The service was abysmal, the waiter was completely weird and rude. You only pay for the view here; everything else is a complete rip-off. Completely overpriced for what you get. Save your time, money, and nerves – don't go there!

Unfortunately, the pizza didn't taste that good. The dough wasn't good, and the pizza was very dry. What a shame. Unfortunately, the card reader was also broken, and we had to withdraw money from the bank, which we weren't told about until we paid.

We had antipasti and bruschetta for starters, followed by pizza for the main course. Unfortunately, the food overall didn't impress us. The bread for the starter was very salty and tasted disappointing. The pizza was more like a frozen pizza. The dough was tasteless and poorly prepared. Additionally, it's not possible to pay with an EC card, which is rather inconvenient these days. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't a positive impression; we wouldn't return because the price-performance ratio isn't right.

The pizza was probably frozen. It was perfectly round, the dough wasn't cooked properly, and it was also very thick. It had absolutely no resemblance to a more delicious Italian pizza.

We can do that, with a clear conscience. And if you're lucky and serve Angelo, nothing can go wrong. Thanks again for a few wonderful hours in your restaurant...says our guests from Magdeburg, and the Aperol was amazing.

Absolute disappointment – ​​never again! There were three of us there (mom, dad, and our 6-year-old child) and we can only advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. My wife and I both had pizza – the taste was a disaster. The crust and toppings were reminiscent of a cheap frozen pizza. The "seasoning" on my salami pizza was nothing more than a few over-seasoned slices of salami, and my wife's also tasted like frozen food. For our daughter, we asked for a small handful of tortellini without anything – really just plain. They charged an incredible €11.90 for this! An absolute disgrace for a child's portion without sauce. The service was the icing on the cake: The waiter stood sick in the entrance area the whole time, constantly sniffing, coughing, and sneezing without ever washing his hands. This is not only unpleasant, but simply disgusting and hygienically irresponsible. Conclusion: We found the quality to be abysmally poor, the prices outrageous, and the service to be truly appalling. We'll definitely never return and strongly advise against eating here.

We spontaneously went to this Italian restaurant. It was too cold to eat outside, so we wanted a table inside. Unfortunately, we were seated at the table right by the entrance, where it was very drafty due to the door being constantly open. However, there were several other tables available. The guests at the other tables were all given bread with dipping oil beforehand, which we didn't get for some reason. Anyway, our orders were taken, and the food came very quickly. A waiter stood next to our table the whole time, watching the guests. As soon as a plate was empty, it was cleared away, regardless of whether anyone was still eating. Overall, we had the feeling that everything just had to be done quickly so the tables would be free again. On top of that, two of the waiters were constantly coughing, which has no place in service. The food was okay, but nothing special, but it was far from cozy. A real shame, especially because the location right on the promenade is really great.

I've never eaten such a bad pizza in my life; every pizza has the same suspiciously pre-made pizza shape. The pizza and the dough had absolutely nothing to do with an Italian pizza; very bad in my opinion. The pizza dough is brown on the bottom, as if it had been fried in a pan. By the way, my husband ordered pasta with Gorgonzola; there was no Gorgonzola flavor at all, it just tasted of cream and unseasoned, a real shame. The waiter, whom I asked about the pizza, replied snippily that it was the best pizza in Scharbeutz, to which all I could say was: I feel sorry for Scharbeutz.

The pizza, or rather the dough, is frozen. All of them are perfectly round, and you can definitely tell by the taste. The €22 for the gourmet pizza could have been saved. Waiters were constantly hovering around you, and the food was already being cleared away even though not everyone had finished eating. Definitely not recommended.

Kids' Margherita pizza with very little cheese. The dough and tomato sauce weren't tasty either. Spaghetti carbonara was okay. Pasta with salmon wasn't good either. Not much salmon and not much flavor. The salad was a disgrace. Only the thick pieces of iceberg lettuce were in it. The dressing had minimal vinegar/oil/balsamic vinegar. You should eat your own food and then reconsider whether you're going to serve it to customers. But at least the chef should taste it. There are spices to make the food more tasty. Expensive. Outdated ambiance. Unfriendly service. Tourist location, but we've been coming to Scharbeutz for 15 years, and this was the last time we'll be going to Salentino.

Very disappointed. Used to be very good, but on Saturday it was terrible. The gourmet pizza was a joke. A few chanterelle mushrooms were found under a mountain of arugula, and the pizza was very small. The pizza Marinia was topped with inferior ingredients, mostly cheap Arctic prawns and a few mussels. The taste was okay, but the value was poor.

I ordered medium rump steak. I asked how it should be cooked, but it came cooked and sliced. The rosemary potatoes weren't cooked through. We had a salad della casa and a Mediterranean-style fish soup. The salad cost over 17 euros and you would have expected it to cost just over 10 euros. The fish soup was characterized by very dry fish, which is amazing for such a soup, and stomach pain afterwards. The waiter tried hard and was there every two minutes to upsell. He wanted to give us the leftover fish several times even though we didn't give positive feedback about the dish. Overall expensive and mediocre quality (at least these dishes).

Looks 80s - when ordering there are 2 waiters because one barely understands German. Children get to eat separately & starter comes with the main course... while I'm eating the last piece of pizza my plate is pulled away while I'm eating! While the waiters are circling every 2 minutes... exhausting... one of them still raises his tongue... Despite all the mistakes, a tip is still expected instead of an accommodation... it's crazy how poorly everyone reflects on themselves... Today at the entrance, guests are sitting with their feet up on the chair opposite... so we're definitely eating here for the last time...

The kitchen is highly recommended. We wanted to get away from pizza and pasta, so instead we ordered fillet steak and pork fillet. That was a brilliant decision because both the meat and the preparation were top notch. A small downside, perhaps a few croquettes or potato gratin would have gone very well with the sauce, which was also perfect. Well, a matter of taste. The service was very attentive, perhaps a little too attentive for our liking, but never intrusive. All in all, if you're nearby and hungry, you can enjoy simple but also fine dining here.

We were only on the Baltic Sea for 2 days, one of which was unfortunately a Monday. Many restaurants were closed. This is how we came to Salentino. It is a small restaurant with simple furnishings, avoid toilets if possible. First there was cold, slightly too dark bread with a bowl of oil with herbs or something similar. We ordered the Margherita pizza three times, once with extra mushrooms on it, once with pineapple. The Margherita costs €9.90 Then I planned a surcharge of €2-3 for each of the two extra toppings. The pizza went like this. Unfortunately, the little bit of cheese wasn't enough to reach the edge, so the whole thing was a bit dry. Dessert was extremely expensive. But I still treated my daughters to it, it's vacation after all. The dessert came on huge plates, but unfortunately the chocolate soufflé was the size of a cookie, and the Creme Catalan was also rather puny. For €9.90 I had imagined something decent. When the older gentleman came to cash, we now had a Margherita for €9.90, a Hawaiian pizza for €14.90 and a Prociutto Funghi for €15.90 on the receipt. When asked, he said, they don't deduct anything. My daughter then said "so the extra charge for a few mushrooms is now €6??" He replied "That's right, this is Scharbeutz after all!" I paid for 3 Pizza Margherita (+ 2 toppings) 3 x Cola and paid 2 x dessert €71.20. The bill would have said 68.00 I would have been happy to add my 10% tip and be left with €75 went out there on the receipt. So I paid exactly €71.20 and left the restaurant dissatisfied. Sorry, but that's just a milkmaid's calculation, how stupid do you have to be to be a restaurateur..

It took less than 5 minutes for the food to be served. HELLO, 5 MINUTES FOR A PIZZA? I cut my pizza, put a piece in my mouth and just felt a completely tasteless rubber mass. There was no question of taste. Simply inedible! My wife felt the same way. I immediately complained to the staff and they took the food back, only to serve it to us again 5 minutes later, warmer, a little croissant or blacker, but no better. We ate some of it, but then we couldn't eat it anymore. We paid and left the restaurant. We also noticed how two other guests also complained. The restaurant wasn't worth one star. In our opinion it is simply not recommended.

The outrageous thing was that I could see from the waiter and the chef's faces that they knew it was burnt and gave me steak anyway, without a word, for the full price. Not acceptable for this price. There are better restaurants nearby that make more of an effort.

An Italian ristorante with delicious dishes. We mostly eat pasta and pizza, which are recommended without exception. Immediately after ordering, there is a greeting from the kitchen consisting of herbs marinated in olive oil. White bread is served with this. The perfect appetizer. The service staff is friendly and the preparation goes quickly.

In this restaurant, which is located almost on the beach, you can dine very well and have a very nice view of the Baltic Sea. The always friendly staff is very friendly and competent, which rounds off the stay perfectly. Simply great, fun and joy in life. Keep it up !
