Food was very good. Everything fit. We were there with our dog.

All hell broke loose, so we sat in the middle of it

We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food only to be absolutely disappointed. The pizzas were undercooked and tasted warmed up and old. In addition, our drinks and food were literally “slammed” onto the table with the comment that we should sort things out ourselves. The relatively nice ambience was only due to the beach, as we sat in the middle of the sidewalk.

Very long waiting times. The drinks and appetizers were prepared quickly. Unfortunately, the main dishes (pizza, pasta dish) took over an hour to prepare and were then served to the table in annoyance by the waitress. When the order was taken, there was no mention of the longer waiting times, nor was there an apology for the long waiting time when being served. Dessert also took a long time to arrive. The pizza tasted good, the pasta dish was ok. Something also seemed to have gone wrong at the neighboring tables.

Hello, I have to say that my salami pizza was not ok, it wasn't cooked through and the salami didn't taste good either My companions had pizza salami pizza rustika and spaghetti bolognese and were also not satisfied! Waiting time was also not ok, we waited 1 hour 30! Conclusion: I would not visit again!

Top service. Attentive, quick, friendly. The prices are also more than reasonable and are a few euros below the average for Baltic Sea restaurants. Unfortunately the pasta was mediocre and rather bland. Therefore, we couldn't be enthusiastic about another visit.

Very good cuisine, very original Italian which is wonderful, the staff is great, has everything in view and is extremely polite. Pleasantly surprised even on the second visit. Is highly recommended.

Get a free table without a reservation, albeit on the sidewalk. The waiter immediately asks for the drinks (we didn't have a menu yet), specials and a lemonade. "We don't have lemonade!", brings a friend and two cards. Lemonade is called Sprite here! The waiter brings the Sprite, comes back two minutes later and wants to take the order with the words "Finally found something?" After about 10 minutes food was brought. The food was carelessly prepared, the schnitzel was perhaps 5mm thick including the breading but the taste was ok, the noodles were salty. Waiters, no matter who they are, no smile, unfriendly, don't know their own menu, you had the feeling you should eat quickly and make room for the next guest. Once and never again!

Good morning, a very good Italian restaurant. Despite the very high number of visitors, the employees are friendly and attentive. Reservation recommended in high season! The prices are fair and the dishes are very tasty. Through the glass facade you have a good view of the beach promenade.

Super friendly staff with delicious food right on the promenade. After we were first assigned a place in the aisle, we were even asked whether we would prefer to sit by the window - we wanted to, as the only thing that separates you from the beach is the street, which is not very busy in the evening. The food and appetizers were there in under 15 minutes and were very tasty.

Visited the restaurant for the first time on holiday yesterday, Friday. Very tasty dishes: Garlic bread, mushroom pan, salami pizza with extra ham and garlic and dessert/ice cream. The food was rather mediocre and took a long time to arrive. The service staff made you feel like you had to eat faster because other guests also needed a seat. Last but not least the ambience, very loud and very crowded.

We've eaten Italian food many times on vacation. But this restaurant really topped everything. The pizza was first class quality. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The price is also perfectly reasonable at €40 for two people with food and drinks.

Super lovely staff! Reservations are advisable as the restaurant is very busy. We had pizza and fries and really enjoyed it. We were all fed up. Happy to recommend. Regarding the parking options, we parked ourselves at Rewe and walked there.

The food is average at best. The pasta and pizza are tasteless; For our taste, snack quality. The bruschetta does not live up to expectations in any way.

Everything was very fast, very wild and somehow nothing personal. The food itself was perfectly fine, nothing to complain about. The ambience, the service and a bit of the family atmosphere are missing. That was different some time ago.

Wir wollten einen netten Abend verbringen. Ganz normal bestellt, Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Getränke. Die Getränke (Limonade) mussten wir leider reklamieren, da es wohl die Reste aus dem Zapfhahn waren und dadurch leider geschmacklos. Die Vorspeise kam und war auch wirklich lecker, machte Appetit auf die Hauptspeise. Sie ließ jedoch auf sich warten, 40 Minuten nach dem Abräumen der Vorspeise kam der Kellner und entschuldigte sich, das Essen würde gleich kommen. Gleich, das ist ein dehnbarer Begriff, es dauerte noch mal 20 Minuten. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber mehr auch nicht. Was aber wirklich störend war, war die Lautstärke, wir fühlten uns wie in einer Bahnhofshalle und nicht wie in einem Restaurant. Unterhalten war schwer, nur, wenn wir auch wirklich laut sprachen. Schade.

Absolutely nothing special in terms of atmosphere. Pretty crowded with tables and chairs. Service reasonably friendly and attentive. Pizza and bruschetta mediocre but edible. Salad with chicken breast strips (or was it turkey, I forgot): Price-performance ratio was absolutely not right, not much lettuce, pieces of iceberg lettuce that belong in the trash and pieces of meat fried as hard as a rock, hardly any dressing.

I have rarely eaten such good Italian food! The starters were fresh and tasty, the main courses simply delicious. We were particularly impressed by the wine selection. A perfect place for a romantic evening.

I was disappointed, this pizza is not comparable to Italian pizza. Very salty and heavy, despite different varieties they all tasted the same. Pesto too bland and stretched for my taste. Service was courteous when assigning tables, but cool afterwards. Ambience quite ok.

Absolut der Laden wenn man auf italo Food Lust hat .. Ich weiß nicht warum manche Leute so ein schwachsinn schreiben, das man unfreundlich oder arrogant empfangen wird !!! It was OK. The bruchetta was very good. However, we were very disappointed with the pizza. There was way too much cheese on it and it didn't taste good. The only thing that was really good about the pizza was the crust. Overall we are disappointed!

Good location and cheap. BUT the pizza is below average similar to a takeaway. The dough has no resting time and the products used are not necessarily of high quality. If you're looking for a good Neapolitan pizza, you've unfortunately come to the wrong place.

One of the best pizzas we have eaten. Crispy thin base lavishly topped. There were 6 on the large “Parma” pizza! Slices of Parma ham, generously sprinkled with Parmesan leaves and fresh rocket. All of this for a fair price. The service and the kitchen are well organized. Food and drinks came quickly. Unfortunately, the outdoor restaurant is located directly on the busy beach alley...but there's always something to complain about. Make sure to make a reservation in the high season!

I have to say a lot of praise today. From the first moment we were greeted in a friendly and traditional way. To whet our appetite, we were given freshly baked white bread with garlic oil. The dishes chosen, some from “The Chef Recommends,” were really tasty 🤤 A nice last evening on vacation. Gladly again and again.

We were there for the second time today and were as excited as the first time. We didn't have a reservation but we were lucky that there was still room. Even when it's very busy, the waiters rush over quickly and are very friendly. The children enjoy pizza and pasta. I am satisfied with the meat dishes. Everything is lovingly prepared and the portions are generous. The salads are fresh and crunchy, the dressing is very well seasoned. Restaurantleiter!?(kein Italiener glaube eher Türke) absolut arrogant und unfreundlich, denkt er sei der König von Scharbeutz... Kellner keiner mal gross gelächelt, wenn man mit denen spricht schauen die einen nicht mal an beim Sprechen, unglaublich sowas... Essen war ganz ok, Hauptgang Risotto mit Fisch sah allerdings aus wie hingespuckt, sry aber sah nicht appetitlich aus, war aber doch ganz lecker gewesen, aber das Auge isst ja bekanntlich mit. Im Grossen und Ganzen finde ich macht das Personal 50% eines Restaurantbesuches aus und das hat hier einfach leider versagt heute..ansonsten schön am Strand gelegen und Ambiente ganz schön.

Waiters don't even smile big, when you talk to them they don't even look at you when you speak, unbelievable stuff like that... The food was okay, the main course risotto with fish looked like it had been spit on, sorry but it didn't look appetizing, but it was quite tasty, but as we all know, the eye eats too. On the whole, I think the staff makes up 50% of a restaurant visit and unfortunately that just failed here today. Otherwise it's beautifully located on the beach and the ambience is quite nice.

The ambience with the outdoor seating area was very nice. Despite the fact that it was really busy, we didn't have to wait long for a table or for the food and drinks. We both decided on a pizza, Pizza Parma €14.90 and Pizza Hawaii €12.90 and two red wine per 0.25l in a glass €6.50 (total: €40.80). The pizza was good, unfortunately we didn't ask if we liked it. When our plates were cleared, there was a “did it taste good?” It starts with the little things, no salt and pepper and olive oil on the tables, there is a candle, but it is not lit. Really everything has nothing to do with an Italian restaurant Anyone who has already eaten in Italy will be disappointed here. Parking is free at Strandallee from 7 p.m.

I would say a "normal" Italian. You can't expect culinary highlights. The food was okay, but nothing more. What was positive was the very nice, courteous service (of course I can only comment on our table). Clean, tidy, toilets too. Prices moderate. If you're really hungry, I would recommend an appetizer.

A visit to the Sorrento restaurant is always a “must” on vacation. The service is great, the food always comes very quickly and is very tasty. And the ambience is great.

The motto of this restaurant is "a little piece of Italy". When we visited yesterday, this piece was very small. Unfortunately, the food served (spaghetti pesto, pizza Sorrento and tomato salad with sheep's cheese) had nothing to do with Italian cuisine. There were two important components missing throughout: taste and love. Love for the product, love for cooking, love for the guest. When choosing the basic products (pizza dough, pasta, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, basil) the price and not the taste was obviously decisive. We couldn't finish all of the dishes we ordered and left the restaurant after 45 minutes. It's a real shame because the service was extremely friendly. Our rating is therefore: Service 4, Food 0, Ambiance 2.

Pizza is still possible, but the fresh mixed salad with tuna and egg is not possible. No taste, everything just thrown together. Far too little salad dressing and watery. Simply tip the canned tuna into the bowl. Aroma, spices zero. It's a real shame, would be recommended to us.

My wife's pizza was good, but my fish plate wasn't that good for the price. There was supposed to be plaice on it, but there wasn't. The salmon was great. Cod with lots of bones. It shouldn't actually be as the waiter promised. The service was courteous and nice, but some knowledge of German was lacking.

For me the best pizza in the Bay of Lübeck. The food is served quickly and the staff is super friendly. The prices are great and you'll be full. We will be back definitely. Thanks to the entire team at Restaurant Sorrento.

The food is well prepared and tastes well balanced. We both had something with pasta, which was very tasty. But what is special is the service. Well organized, very friendly and extremely quick to operate, prepare and serve. The restaurant was full but everyone got a seat and everything was organized so that everyone was well served, rarely seen such service.

The food was great, the pizza tasted like a pizza should taste :-) Dough was great, toppings too. Just “too little” because an ingredient ordered was missing. As a precaution, the waiter was made aware of this when eating it and he also agrees that an ingredient was missing. When paying, I asked for the invoice several times - but the specific ingredient was still on the invoice. Coincidence? I pointed this out - the money was paid out in cash without any problems... Some people would suspect a "scam" - but don't want to assume anything... But I noticed it during the meal and had to ask several times for a detailed invoice... Pizza was still good. Will probably come back. But without a tip and a close look at the bill and the service ordered. Great view of the Baltic Sea rounds off the visit :-)

We had dinner there and were very satisfied. The food was delicious, the portions were large and the price was more than reasonable (actually too cheap). The service staff were quick and friendly. We would definitely recommend it, definitely make a reservation in advance!
