Very friendly staff.
We tried the entire menu during our vacation and would order every dish again. Kudos to the kitchen. The price/performance ratio is 100% right. Special requests are happily accommodated. When it comes to complaints, there's no argument; you just have to talk.
We enjoyed our stay, best regards.
We tried burgers and schnitzel. The food was perfectly fine and tasty. However, I found the price of over €15 for a single burger a bit steep. The service was friendly, and the food was tasty. But you can do that for one evening. A fried fish sandwich was available for €5.50. The price/performance ratio was perfectly acceptable.
The fried fish has nothing to do with fish! Thick breading and pressed leftovers! Everything ready-made except for the salad.
Prices are way too high for this quality... sorry I can't recommend it!
Last year, we ordered and picked up food there for the first time by phone. We ordered two pizzas and a portion of spaghetti carbonara.
Card payments weren't possible at that time either.
The pizzas were okay, the crust a bit bland, and the toppings a bit too few (pizza diavolo and ham). The flavor was therefore rather neutral, or more like the crust. The spaghetti was also okay, but the pasta could have been more al dente. The sauce, unfortunately, didn't taste like an original carbonara.
In May of this year, we ordered and picked up again. Unfortunately, it was worse this time than before. The pizzas (2 salami and 1 diavolo) were lukewarm, and also bland in flavor and sparsely topped. Since the pizzas seemed a bit "smaller" than advertised the first time, I measured them again. I know that sounds petty, but with an actual diameter of 25 cm, I can let it go.
The carbonara was overcooked, the sauce was thin and didn't taste good, unfortunately more like a ready-made sauce. The penne with meat sauce was also disappointing in terms of taste, as we were looking forward to a Bolognese, but that wasn't the case.
As was the case last year, only cash payments were accepted.
The takeaway menu also differs from the regular menu on Instagram, as it lists fewer dishes.
The wait times were perfectly acceptable in any case, no longer than 20-25 minutes.
The service was friendly, but seemed slightly overwhelmed. The ambiance in the restaurant is appealing, and the summer garden also looks beautiful.
This is an honest review from me, and we will give the pizza and pasta another try next time. Hopefully it tastes better, otherwise this will be our last visit.
Even if the price/performance ratio isn't quite right, as the quality of the food isn't fully reflected in the price, it's still worth considering as an alternative.
To be honest, we don't want to harm the nice staff and operators, but the food was average at best. The salad with tuna was almost an imposition. No dressing at all and basically just lettuce leaves with tuna... The lasagna didn't stand out much and the plaice was okay...
