Das Essen vor allen Dingen das Schnitzel ist echt schlecht gewesen. Positiv muss ich erwähnen dass dieses uns nicht in Rechnung gestellt worden ist

Absolut klasse Restaurant mit lecker Essen zu prima Preisen.

Schönes gemütliches Dorf Restaurant , Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten Verschiedene Schnitzel die sehr gut waren auch von der Menge mehr als ausreichend 👍 Kommen gerne wieder !

Eine tolle Gaststätte. Wir waren spontan als Familie dort. Der Wirt ist sehr freundlich. Er und auch die Mitarbeiter sind flott unterwegs aber auf eine unheimlich entspannte Art. Wir haben super lecker gegessen und kommen sich wieder!

Wir haben uns mehr vom Dorfkrug erhofft, da er letztes Jahr sehr gelobt wurde. Der Salat bestand aus Eisbergblättern und einem Ranken Tomate mit Fertigdressing. Mein Schnitzel hat vor Fett getrieft und die Jägersoße war ebenfalls ein Fertigprodukt, indem man noch die Klumpen vom Anrühren gesehen hat. Beim Fisch von meinem Mann sah es nicht besser aus. Qualitativ das beste waren wohl die Fischstäbchen und Pommes von unserem Kind. Schade für's Geld...

Ich bestelle immer das teuerste Fischgericht, wenn ich irgendwo zum ersten Mal bin. So auch hier. Das ist in der Gegend in der Regel eine gute Wahl und die Spitzengruppe geht dicht an dicht durchs Ziel. Leider ohne den Dorfkrug. Der lieblos hingerotzte Eisberg-Salat mit Fertigsoße erschreckte, aber der Fisch soll ja frisch vom Kutter kommen. Kam er auch. Der Koch allerdings wohl auch. Filetieren hat er bei Wish gelernt und den armen Fisch hat er zu lange in der Pfanne gelassen. Wahrscheinlich hat es überraschend etwas länger gedauert, die Bratkartoffeln so zu versalzen. „Keine Kartenzahlung“ war dann nur noch das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Immerhin war die Bedienung nett, deswegen ein zweiter Stern.

Super alles top freundlich immer wieder gern

Ein netter Inhaber mit viel Humor und sehr fleißigem Personal. Der Fisch war köstlich, und auch die Schnitzel sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und kommen gerne wieder.

Update 2026: Leider SEHR teuer geworden! Steht nicht mehr wirklich im Verhältnis... Wir waren die ganzen Jahre sehr gerne da - dieses Mal jetzt leider zum letzten Mal. Wir haben für 4 Personen einen Platz bekommen, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten. Die Bedienung wie auch der Chef selbst waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen kam zügig und war äusserst schmackhaft - vor allem der Fisch! Gut, vielleicht etwas lieblos angeordnet, aber das tut dem Geschmack ja keinen Abbruch. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswerter "Dorfkrug" mit gutbürgerlichen Küche und einem absolut fairen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

21.03.2026: Zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Lokal mit schöner Sommerterrasse. Freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen eher gut Bürgerlich und mit einer vernünftigen Portion.

Haben heute sehr gut gegessen, Rouladen und Scholle. Vorher gab es einen Salat es hat alles wunderbar geschmeckt und die Portionen waren sehr reichlich. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fallhierher zu kommen.

Wir waren zu dritt eingekehrt. Schneller und sehr freundlicher Service. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen ausreichend gross, um gut satt zu werden. Frischer Fisch und regionale Kartoffeln. Für uns steht fest, beim nächsten Urlaub werden wir wieder dort essen.

Wir waren eine Woche fast jeden Tag dort essen. Wer 5 Sterne Küche erwartet, ist dort verkehrt. Das Essen ist dem Preis entsprechend, hervorragend. Der Service ist sehr Aufmerksam und überaus freundlich. Wir haben uns dort Pudelwohl gefühlt. Auch unser Hund Toni, war dort herzlich willkommen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

A very nice, home-style restaurant. We've been coming to Fehmarn for many years, but this was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. The beef roulade is highly recommended.

We can only advise against it. We've never eaten such awful food for so much money. The fish fillet was extremely dry, rock-hard around the edges. The fried potatoes were swimming in fat, the white cabbage salad with ready-made sauce—it couldn't be worse. A glass of still water for €3.60 topped it all off. Once, never again.

The food was quick and delicious. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. Special requests were handled quickly and courteously. If it were possible, I would give them 10 stars.

Restaurant Dorfkrug – A Little Gem in the Countryside In the evening, shortly after sunset, we were looking for somewhere to have dinner. In a small town where you wouldn't really expect to find a restaurant, we discovered the Dorfkrug Restaurant. Several photos hung on the walls, apparently showing the owner fishing on a boat – an indication that the restaurant primarily serves fish specialties. While other German dishes are also on the menu, the focus is clearly on fresh fish. The restaurant is simple and unpretentious, but that's precisely what makes it so charming. We ordered grilled or fried fish with a glass of beer and enjoyed a thoroughly satisfying dinner. At the table, we had grilled pollock fillet, cod, and – as a small exception – a currywurst. The fish was fresh, juicy, and of excellent quality. It was particularly pleasant: it wasn't too salty, which was much appreciated. Those who preferred a stronger flavor could add a little salt. It was a down-to-earth, honest meal, accompanied by a beautiful evening atmosphere and sunset. A place we'd love to return to—and next time we'll definitely bring friends and family along.

The Dorfkrug is in a very quiet location, the food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive and child-friendly. One small drawback is that the drink prices are unfortunately not visible on the menu. If you can't find a parking space in front of the restaurant, there is a free public parking lot on the side street.

Highly recommended!! Good value for money. Very tasty. Cozy, with a view of the village pond. Large portions. Attentive service. Consistently good quality for years. Also suitable for families, as it's child-friendly. A sign on the street advertises children's menus.

Without a reservation, I still got a seat after a bit of a wait. Dogs are allowed. The food came very quickly. Everything was great. 👍

The Dorfkrug in Petersdorf on Fehmarn is truly first-class. We're regulars there, practically the entire Fehmarn R.B., and we've tried some really positive dishes so far—simply delicious. The entire staff is very, very attentive and always courteous and helpful. The dishes are inexpensive and very generously priced. They even offer a salad with your currywurst—delicious. The service staff was very friendly! The food and drinks arrived very quickly. The salad was dressed with a reddish dressing. Unfortunately, it had a very bland flavor. The Holstein schnitzel with fries was good, but at €19.90, it wasn't a bargain. I've never had a 0.5 liter beer for €6.10 anywhere else, except in Munich.

Ate there with four people on the last day of our vacation. Very friendly service. Food arrived very quickly. The schnitzel was okay, but the hunter's sauce was a culinary disaster. Very floury and, when it cooled, became like gelatin. The ambiance was beer garden-like. Folding chairs and washable plastic tablecloths on the tables. We were treated to an elderflower shot as a farewell drink.

Unfortunately, a young employee was talking to a colleague at the kitchen counter about guests, apparently gossiping and laughing. That was quite disturbing. The pizza was good, and the cellar was nice, too. But based on this experience, we probably won't go there again.

A bit antiquated, I'd say; the garnish was really old-school... I had the plaice with potatoes and herb sauce, which could have been more; I wasn't full after five small potatoes. There wasn't really any salt in it either, but my husband was even more salty with the lumberjack steak with herb butter and fries. The portion was generous, though. I wouldn't go back, to be honest...

We went there for dinner on our last day on Fehmarn because we were staying in Petersdorf and didn't want to drive away again. If only we had... My wife had the Jägerschnitzel and ate half of it only because she was really hungry. I tried it once, too. The sauce was absolutely disgusting, inedible, and definitely from a package. It wasn't the sauce typically offered with such a dish. It was a brown, dark-brown, thin, runny soup. Some of the mushrooms were badly burnt. The schnitzel itself was very thin and tasted bland. The fries were okay, though. The appetizer salad was an absolute disgrace. A few lettuce leaves carelessly thrown onto a plate with a strange pink pre-made sauce. The two-day-old packaged salad from Netto tastes better. There were also several hairs in the food. I had the fish fillet with fried potatoes. The fish itself was a bit dry, but the few potatoes were okay. Unfortunately, the female server was almost impossible to understand, so we could hardly complain about our order, as we were either deliberately being silly or genuinely not being understood. At the end, when the plates were being cleared, my wife explicitly stated that she didn't like the food, but this was ignored. We were there with our children and had to use the restroom several times. It was absolutely dirty and unhygienic. One look into the kitchen and we should have left the restaurant. We sat outside, and there was a green plastic sheet covering all the tables that always stuck to our skin, which was very unpleasant. Additionally, the owner often stood outside and chatted enthusiastically at us and then talked to an acquaintance right behind us, which we found very unpleasant. Our children were also chatted to every two minutes, so they couldn't eat in peace. The children were constantly asked if the food was tasty, but adults weren't asked. In short: I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. It's better to "cook" a packet of soup at home and eat it with dry bread; you'll get more out of it that way.

We were misled by the reviews. The service is very friendly, but the ambiance is very old-fashioned, the restrooms are dirty, and the food is okay—everything is very greasy and probably mostly convenience food. Some snack bars are better, so I wouldn't recommend it. Card payments aren't accepted either, for obvious reasons. 🙄

Don't expect too much. We were there for dinner in the evening, and most of the tables were already reserved. I ordered a gypsy schnitzel and my wife a buttered plaice. My wife was happy with the plaice. My schnitzel was obviously pre-cooked. The consistency of the meat suggests this, and where no sauce had been applied, it wasn't crispy, as you'd expect from a schnitzel. The speed with which the schnitzel arrived on the table in front of me also suggests this. The gypsy sauce would have also gone well with sweet and sour chicken, like you get at a Chinese restaurant, one of those typical sauces from a jar. The fries were cooked to perfection and crispy, but I tasted a slight fishy note. The squid rings listed on the menu might have ended up in the same fryer. What a shame!

Matjes with potatoes and salad, iceberg lettuce with, I'd say, a ready-made sauce, and mayonnaise sauce over the fish. The potatoes were the best. A wheat beer cost over €6! The waiter barely speaks German, making communication difficult. We won't have to go back.

We were very disappointed with our visit to the Dorfkrug! The schnitzel was small and the meat was by no means tender, the side salad was also significantly smaller than usual, only the fries were okay! The fried potatoes weren't crispy but were very greasy, there were only two small pieces of herring, and the salmon slices were more like from a discount store than a fishmonger! All in all, we paid €52 for two 0.5-liter beers, one schnitzel with a side dish, and a "fish platter"! That was anything but reasonable! When we were at the Dorfkrug four years ago, we had a good meal there, and the value for money was completely convincing! It's a shame that's no longer the case!

The furniture is dated, the service is friendly and quick. The menu matches the ambiance. Nice, but nothing special. The fries were very salty, and when we declined the ozono (a type of sushi) because some people don't consume alcohol, we were quickly offered a small ice cream. In summary, it's worth a visit; the value for money is good.

The Restaurant Dorfkrug is a small but fine restaurant in Petersdorf on Fehmarn. The outdoor terrace is comfortably laid out and offers a view of the village pond, which has a fenced-in children's playground. The owner can be found in service himself and is an extremely funny guy. The cuisine is home-style and offers schnitzel and fresh fish from the Burgstaaken fishing port. If you're expecting a meal with gold leaf and classical music, you've come to the wrong place. Here you'll find sensible food that tastes good, in portions that will fill you up. The beer served here comes from the Klüvers brewery in Neustadt in Holstein, so it is regional. The interior is rustic and chic. We came with four adults and two children. Putting tables together was no problem. The children were given high chairs and their drinks in advance. All in all a very nice visit. We'll come back when we get the chance.

We spent a week on Fehmarn on March 25. We ate there twice with friends and kids. Superb quality, whether fish or meat. Everything was fresh and tasty, including fresh salad. A fantastic chef and great service. Fair value for the quality. We'll be back in September. A great time, keep it up.

I like this restaurant very much and have known it since my early childhood. I'm glad that it still exists and I enjoy eating there with my grandpa!😁👍

Very dedicated staff. The restaurant is well attended and probably has many holidaymakers as regular guests. The dishes on offer didn't convince me. That's why I only give it three out of five stars. Well, it's very child and family friendly there. Parking spaces are nearby. It's better to reserve a table at peak times.
