We look forward to every Friday evening that you are at Christiansen's, to the best burgers and the nicest employees, who also have something left over for our sprat (eaten Labrador) that had fallen down. Of course it often takes a long time, but the wait is worth it and I'd rather have well-prepared food than plain old mass-produced food! With the rush, the employees work hard but still remain relaxed. Please imitate working in wagons in the scorching heat first instead of complaining when the sarcasm comes through - we love your food and also your style - like that!
Unfortunately, after a change of operator, the overall quality suffered. The service staff made an overwhelmed and unfriendly impression. The pizza we ordered was hard and only moderately topped, and the drinks were expensive. The price/performance ratio is no longer right here.
We very much regret that the Margarethenhof is closing its doors at the end of the year. Here on Fehmarn it is one of the most creative cuisines served in a local atmosphere with a harmonious price-performance ratio. We wish Ms. and Mr. Dietrich all the best for your next project.
Highly recommended. However, you should make a reservation in advance. We weren't on Fehmarn during peak season; we had made a reservation, and the restaurant was busy with guests without reservations. The really friendly team went out of their way to offer us a table. However, the restaurant is quite small, with a limited number of tables, so I can imagine that you could have bad luck in peak season. The restaurant offers, among other things, all-you-can-eat duck. You definitely have to pre-order here. Of course, duck takes time. We did, however, have fish, as befits its status. Very tasty, good, large portions. All in all, there's nothing to complain about, and we'll be back on our next vacation. If there's one drawback, it's that there's no parking. You'll just have to look for somewhere else in the surrounding streets, which might not be so ideal if you have limited mobility.
A really great restaurant on the campsite.
We cycled there for lunch. The food is delicious, the prices are fair, and there's a large playground for the kids right next door.
