Unassuming from the outside, but after sitting for five minutes, you're immersed in a restaurant experience that makes you feel like you're on vacation in Italy. Service and ambiance play a huge role here. We had bruschetta as a starter, which was fantastic. The main course was a delicious pizza. 10/10 value for money - you'll definitely leave feeling full. What really makes a good restaurant: Clean and inviting restrooms :) All in all, a great restaurant experience and highly recommended - and on Fehmarn, too. Enjoy your meal.

A wonderful restaurant that leaves nothing to be desired. The food is simply perfect and so delicious. The service is so friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is cozy and quaint. Great emphasis is placed on quality here. The only regret is that we were only on vacation in Fehmarn and live over 600 km away. Perhaps our wish will come true and a branch will open in Cologne. We would be regulars in a heartbeat ♥️ Thank you for contributing to a perfect vacation ♥️

The restaurant offers a varied menu. The starters and main courses were very good and plentiful. The expectations based on previous reviews were fully met.

The pizzas were delicious, with fresh ingredients and no canned goods. Very friendly and attentive service. Great atmosphere. Reservations are recommended. We were there early in the evening and were really lucky to get a table for three people. Absolutely fair value for money. We'd love to come back on our next vacation!

Really absolutely great Italian

The three of us spontaneously got a spacious table on Saturday. The service was excellent, very friendly! And the ambiance, apart from the cameras throughout the restaurant, was pleasant. Regarding the food, I have to say that the pizza unfortunately had such an extremely thick crust and so flat a center that the base and topping couldn't quite connect... Unfortunately, we couldn't detect any crunch on this pizza either. I chose the homemade pasta, which was more like blackened udon noodles. Soft, thick noodles are unfortunately not at all enjoyable for the hefty price they charge here. What would Grandna say? The rack of lamb with herb and pistachio crust, on the other hand, was excellent and spot on! It's recommended to choose vegetables as a side dish. All the best to the team!

As guests on Fehmarn, we eat at this restaurant every year. The food is always plentiful and delicious. The service is very friendly and competent. For us, it's one of the *best restaurants* on the island.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The salad was good, but our main course, pasta with salmon sauce, was very creamy. There was hardly any seasoning and very little salmon. It sat heavily in our stomachs for a long time. We won't be going there again.

The service was super friendly, attentive, and quick, without being intrusive. You simply feel welcome here. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect; it's really fair for the high quality. Excuse my language! "Unfortunately awesome" Food Atmosphere Staff Service Everything is just right here! I started with one of the most delicious bruschettas I've ever eaten. The homemade black spaghetti, dyed with squid ink, was the best I've had outside of Italy. My wife's pizza was no less delicious. Service, speed, and precision are the recipe for success here. We were delighted; the wine and espressos at the end rounded off the lovely evening. Highly recommended if you make a reservation in advance. Grazie mille 👋🏻

A very authentic and excellent Italian restaurant!!!!

We wanted to pick up a delicious pizza with our two little ones on our last day and enjoy it. The staff and atmosphere were very friendly and pleasant. From that perspective, it was a great experience. Unfortunately, I have to say I found the pizzas very, let's say, "average." They were tasty, but they didn't blow me away. The dough was good, but I have to deduct one rating, because I've had much better pizzas at Italian restaurants. I was shocked, however, by the size of the pizza: the large ones (20 cm in diameter) were no problem. The kids' pizza (see PHOTO) unfortunately didn't quite fill the children (3 and 5 years old) (in comparison, the diameters are stated as 15 cm). I'm a bit disappointed overall. I can recommend it, but you shouldn't expect the best pizza ever. A good, solid pizza, but the kids' pizza was unfortunately extremely tiny for the price. The regular-sized pizzas were €1 more per slice than the online menu (because of the pizza box?). I noticed too late to ask.

The food was top-notch as always. Unfortunately, the service has declined significantly. Last year, someone from the service department regularly came to the table to ask if we needed more drinks or if everything was OK. This time, hardly any staff were seen. Please improve your customer service, especially outside.

As a vegan, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. While there are five vegan dishes to choose from, three of them are essentially all based on the same ingredient: antipasti. These include regular antipasti, bruschetta with antipasti, and a pizza – also with antipasti. Unfortunately, the dishes weren't particularly tasty, especially considering the rather high prices. The food was disappointing and didn't meet expectations at all. On the positive side, however, the service deserves special mention: The waiters were consistently friendly and attentive, and the dishes were served promptly. Vegans should either opt for a simple pizza without cheese – or, if in doubt, choose another restaurant.

I haven't found a better Italian restaurant in Germany. The staff, food, and atmosphere are exceptionally good.

Every year when we're on Fehmarn, we go to this restaurant. We were there again yesterday for my birthday, and it was fantastic again. The food is delicious, and the service is very attentive and friendly. They often ask if the food is tasty, if everything is OK, and if you'd like anything else. We really enjoy coming here.

Highly recommended! We spontaneously stopped by for lunch with our child, baby, and dog. We had two pasta dishes and a kids' pizza. Everything was soooo delicious! The staff was also extremely friendly and attentive. They warmed up the porridge we brought with us for our baby. When clearing our plates, they even asked if the bowl and baby spoon we brought with us needed to be washed. We would eat here again anytime.

Ciao bella, what a pizza! This is true craftsmanship, the dough is a symphony Beethoven couldn't have done better. A wafer-thin base with a delicious sauce, carefully selected ingredients, and a crispy, fluffy crust that's not dry at all. This is true love!

Easy online reservation, friendly welcome. They even accommodated our request for a corner seat for our dog, including a water bowl. Very attentive service. Several specially designated vegan dishes are on the menu. The vegan pizza, thankfully, was made without any cheese substitutes and was very creative and, above all, delicious. The vegetarian pizza was very disappointing. Contrary to the menu description, the vegetables weren't fresh. The side salad was absolutely tasteless. It consisted mainly of iceberg lettuce, a cocktail tomato, a slice of cucumber, and a long, thin slice of carrot.

Borgo Antico is an Italian restaurant 🇮🇹 that you can't miss if you're on Fehmarn Island 🇩🇪 The quality of their dishes 🍽️ and the attentive service of their staff 🧑‍🍳 will make for an excellent experience. I've tried a salmon 🐠 with a pistachio and sesame crust and an incredible aioli sauce ☺️ there. In addition to their pastas 🍝 and pizzas 🍕 with a great variety and a very complete 🍷and 🍺 menu! Above the restaurant they have a hotel, a boutique albergo from the late 1800s, in the heart of the historic center. If you come to the island 🏖️ I recommend it 💯

The open Montepulciano is OK. The homemade noodles are not that great. You have quite a lot of dough in your mouth. The sauce consisted mainly of mushrooms, with a few strips of meat sandwiched between them. I don't care that maybe it wasn't the promised 100 g of meat - you're also warned that the meat is braised. Ultimately nonsense. It's poorly roasted beef in a banal cream sauce with endless amounts of mushrooms.
