Grumpy Duck Foodtrucks in Fehmarn

The people at the truck are super friendly and everything looks spotless. I didn't like the burger (pulled duck) at all. The roll quickly became soggy from the very wet red cabbage salad and therefore had a scary color. The red cabbage also overpowered everything in terms of taste. There was a lot of torn duck on it, which I would have liked to have tasted more clearly. Too bad. Ambiance -- well, a supermarket parking lot. There were customers next door who had probably ordered several times before. They said everything is always ready on time. Maybe I just picked the wrong burger.

Footprint was highly recommended to us, so expectations were correspondingly high. The burgers weren't bad, but then again just good. When I look at some of the pictures here, I notice that there are probably very big differences in the preparation. We ordered a cheeseburger and a Mafioso and had to wait almost an hour for the burgers. The crew couldn't really keep up and you could feel and hear that: there were sometimes funny comments and taunts among each other. This has already been mentioned several times in the reviews...

We were at the Klaustorfer Strand campsite and the food truck was highly recommended to us. So we wanted to pre-order several burgers and pick them up later...unfortunately this wasn't possible, the staff wouldn't be able to do it logistically. Every pizzeria, kebab shop, etc. can do something like that, but not you. So we went back later and placed our order. At that time there was a little boy behind the counter who was allowed to work...he messed up the whole process enormously. Our burgers had been there for at least 10 minutes before they were handed to us. Of course they were cold. When we wanted to take some mayo with us, we were cheekily asked what we needed it for. We didn't order fries... WHAT DOES THAT CARE TO YOU??? If the prices for fries weren't so high, we would have taken some too. All in all, this food truck seems like a hobby of yours. This has nothing to do with professional work. It's a shame because the burgers actually tasted good. But the service is a complete disaster!!!

We got burgers today at the Belt campsite and have to say The Beast and Almdudler were more than perfect!! The burgers were prepared exactly as ordered, with a few changes Be back next Tuesday

Well dear Grumpy Duck team… what should I write about this??? Much promised, little delivered. 1x Grumpy Duck = woman says taste is the main thing. I didn't find it visually appealing 1x Waldschrat = Actionsburger, I wanted to check it out. Was disappointed. The absolute highlight was the pattie. Well fried, good taste. The rest?! Cloak of silence. Bun ZERO crunchy, kind of rubbery consistency. When prepared correctly, the one from the discount store tastes better. If truffle mayo hadn't been on the sign, I wouldn't have tasted it. Onions, lettuce (the little sad leaf) slapped together tastelessly, that's real Burger King level. Too bad! 1x freak fries = were okay, but chili mayo doesn't make fries any crispier. Maybe first fry the fries until crispy and then pour sauce over them. I'm a big fan of Sauce apair. Staff = apart from the young lady in the middle, the rest seemed completely overwhelmed, mind you, 10 receipts at the time... but everything was still processed calmly. Immediately after me there was a gap of 15 minutes. Waiting time = 15 minutes, just about reasonable for what was delivered. I think the mise en place is just not well planned. Overall rating = Unfortunately not again. For me it was the highest level of burger chains and far away from the promised services. Especially at almost €30!!! And 2.20 *MORE* for a veggie patty (6.90 for an extra one), I think that's a complete impudence. I guess that compares to a good beef pattie! And yes, I know, good staff is hard to find. I met a lot of satisfied customers at the truck, so you have to be honest

Food was very tasty but despite the gluten-free burger buns unfortunately !!NOT GLUTEN FREE!! The staff promised me a gluten-free burger and unfortunately my girlfriend still had an allergy attack. It's a shame, I hope you take the criticism seriously and that work is being done on it.

The burgers are all delicious and freshly prepared. Price-performance ratio is right. However, longer waiting times (sometimes 45 minutes or more) must be taken into account. The coordination of ordering and preparation sometimes seems chaotic. Personally, we thought it was a shame that it was only after ordering and waiting for quite some time (35 minutes) that we found out that certain products (in our case sweet potato fries) were not available or could no longer be prepared because the deep fryer was already out of operation and actually it was already closing time. It should be noted that we placed our order at 3 p.m. According to the homepage, the truck location was open until 4 p.m The politeness of the employee (towards colleagues but also customers) leaves a lot to be desired.

The burger was just ok and nothing special. We had a classic cheeseburger and the BBQ burger + fries. Fries were cold and not a highlight. It's a shame, I was hoping for more. Unfortunately, not all burgers are the same and tastes differ. For me only 2/5 stars.

"Yes, that's a delicious burger" 😃 ... by far the best burger we've eaten in a long time. Fresh preparation and everything handmade...you can taste it. The ingredients were all fresh, the meat was on point and of great quality. The various dips were also great. Even the ketchup didn't come out of the bottle. The price-performance ratio is 100% right. It was the first time and unfortunately on the last day. But hopefully and definitely again next year.

After waiting 40 minutes you are told that the card payment doesn't work. Given the prices quoted there, you can expect that the queue will be informed in some way that it doesn't work. My desire to place an order was put to an abrupt end with the words “We have stopped ordering.” When I asked when it would be possible to order again, the answer was: "I can't say." When I asked whether orders would still be accepted, the answer was "possibly." The whole thing was at 6:50 p.m. So as a customer I am sent away without knowing whether I will get anything to eat or not!! The entire team (three young men) seemed completely overwhelmed to me. I'm not used to that from Grumpy Duck!! It's a real shame as the whole family has been looking forward to it all week. In the future we will probably have to choose a different location for Saturdays. Really a shame. 😮‍💨

We went to the Miramar campsite today to try out the burgers. We arrived around 6 p.m. There were already a few people waiting in front of the truck with orders placed. Ok, it definitely won't take that long, so we ordered 3 burgers and 1 fries. There were 20 receipts in front of us. It slowly dawned on us that it would probably take a moment - in the end it was 1.5!!! Hours. The burgers were very tasty (the fries were of a rather lax standard), but despite all the understanding for freshness - if you do it professionally, the waiting time is simply too long. The ambience while eating with the sun slowly setting over the bridge was great...but unfortunately we won't be repeat customers.

Apparently the crew is overwhelmed by multiple orders at the same time, which leads to order stops and very long waiting times. We were honored with your presence today at the Klausdorf campsite. The prices seem high at first glance, but if you don't let them put you off, you can expect nothing less than incredibly delicious burgers 🍔 . Everything was fresh and deliciously prepared. However, we didn't know that the meat wasn't cooked through. It would be better to ask the customer again or write somewhere that it is medium. Therefore one point deducted. The staff was relaxed and the music was also fast and easy to sing along to

There should be three burgers plus fries each. The first time I tried to order I had to wait around 10 minutes. The card payment didn't work. I had previously called to see if I could pay by card, which was answered in the affirmative. So I had to get cash. When I returned, there were a few customers ahead of me in line. The second time I placed my order and paid with cash, I asked about the approximate wait time. The employee told me it would take about 20 minutes. While waiting, the employees exchanged a few dialogues with each other: "The problem is always the fries. It all takes too long." or "You have to stop taking orders now, after all, I can't do everything here." It ended up being more than 45 minutes. In total, I spent a little over an hour ordering until I received the food. Later, at the dinner table at home, we noticed that a portion of fries was missing. So I went to the food truck again and asked for the missing portion, which I then received. The food was very good and the burgers were really excellent. Overall, unfortunately, it's just average.

I ate my first Grumpy Duck burger on Fehmarn. I am very impressed with the quality of the burger. The meat was nice medium-rare, as it should be. If you want it to be well done, you have to say so explicitly. The photo is of the Mafioso burger with, among other things, mozzarella and balsamic mayonnaise. The fries were crispy and just right. The mayonnaise seemed to have some garlic in it, but maybe I was imagining that. Since it is a food truck, the atmosphere is of course rather rustic - an Edeka parking lot is bustling and busy. The service was very friendly, but you should plan on waiting a few minutes. That didn't bother me and the delicious food was worth the time. If I remember correctly, all burgers are also available in vegan versions, but if you value that, you should check again. Maybe I can make a second visit before I leave...

Great burgers. Very good quality. Anyone who appreciates good burgers is happy to drive half an hour to get there. Just look at the website and there is the weekly schedule. And it tasted really good and we didn't have to wait long. Come back a second time on our vacation.

Brilliant burger. Super tasty ingredients. Juicy and fresh. No matter whether it's a cheeseburger or a lamb borghini or Man's Health or just the cheeseburger. Without really knowing what we should eat, we discovered a Grumpy Duck food truck in front of our Klausdorfer Strand campsite... the first impression was good, the people in the truck were friendly…. We then had burgers and sweet potato fries and it was all very tasty…. The ingredients are all fresh and in a good combination in just the right amount on the burger... I have rarely eaten such a good burger... Very welcome again at any time…. And I also have to mention that on fb you can find tour plans with times and everything zip and zap…. Es gibt ja mittlerweile viele Foodtrucks oder Burger- Läden welche echt gut sind - aber das Team von Grumpy Duck legt die Messlatte nochmal ein ganzes Stückchen höher. Super leckeres Essen, frische Zutaten, leckere Saucen ... dazu ein stimmiges, durchdachtes Konzept und nettes Personal - und dank online verfügbarem Tourplan kann man gleich mal schauen, wann es das nächste mal passt. Tolle Qualität aller Zutaten! Mayo und Ketchup sind sogar „Homemade“! Preise absolut angemessen.

Wir sind extra zum Campingplatz „Klausdorfer-Strand“ gefahren um diesen regionalen Foodtruck zu probieren. Und es hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Die Burger sind wirklich klasse, weil alle Zutaten durch Qualität und Frische überzeugen. Besonderes Detail ist die selbstgemachte Mayo und Ketchup.

Heute das erste Mal die Burger 🍔 und Pommes probiert. Sehr lecker. Personal sehr freundlich und der Preis ist in Ordnung. Wenn man auf Fehmarn ist, dann sollte man einmal zu Grumpy Duck 🦆 essen gehen. Hier eine klare Empfehlung 👍🏻

Gestern haben wir uns das 1. Mal hier was geholt: einen BBQ Burger, einen Big Kahuna Burger und Süßkartoffelpommes. Was soll ich sagen, wo fange ich an? Kurz und knapp: gönnt Euch! Die Burger sind das Erlebnis und Geld wert. Außergewöhnliche Kreationen, die wirklich lecker sind! Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei!

Sehr aromatische Burger! Fleisch ist unglaublich saftig! Super Auswahl, auch für Vegetarier und sogar auf Wunsch glutenfrei! Die Süßkartoffelpommes sind richtig knusprig. Alles in einem, wirklich lohnenswert!

Die Preise scheinen auf dem ersten Blick hoch, sind sie aber nicht. Bei jeder Portion wird man dicke satt. Die Pommes- und Süßkartoffelpommes Portionen sind größer als erwartet. Die Burger sind 150g Paddys mit jeweiligen Beilagen, auch individuelle Wünsche sind erfüllbar. Gut gewürzt und nicht trocken werden die Paddys frisch gebraten. Die Brötchen sind sehr gut gelungen, fluffig und elastisch, ohne auseinanderzubrechen. Die Besatzung des Food Truck ist sehr freundlich und erfüllt alle Wünsche der Kunden. Auch bei großem Anlauf wird jede Bestellung frisch und schnell zubereitet. Die Burger oder Pommes werden in echten Papier ohne Plastikbeschichtung eingewickelt und verpackt. Auch Vegetarier werden satt, mit Erbsenpaddys. Der Ketchup ist ebenfalls Vegan. Zusätzlich gibt es verschiedene Getränke oder Soußen zum Kaufen. Das heutige Erlebnis zeigt, dass große Fast Food Ketten keine Chance auf der Insel haben.

Ich bin immer wieder bereit für gutes Essen auch mehr Geld zu zahlen. Aaaaaaaaber wir hatten hier 4 Burger (einen davon plane, der volle Preis wurde trotzdem berechnet) 4 Pommes und Cola und ich habe dafür 66,20 Euro gezahlt. Für ein Essen an der Bude?! Sorry, aber das ist echt übertrieben. Die Pommes waren mega versalzen und die Burger waren okay, nichts besonderes. Eher Standard. Kenne ich besser. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen gehen. Antwort auf Statement: Ich habe natürlich vorher geschaut, ob Ihre Preise zu meinem Geldbeutel passen, sonst hätte ich erst garnicht bestellt. Ich bin jedoch davon ausgegangen, das die höheren Preise mir auch eine hohe Qualität bieten und das ist einfach nicht geschehen. Das kann zum Teil Burger King besser und daher ist der Preis meiner Meinung nach viel zu hoch angesetzt!

Die Burger sind der Hammer. Noch nie solch gute Burger gegessen. Selbst die Kids waren begeistert. Gigantisch. Macht weiter so.

Wir sind in Urlaub auf Fehmarn in Klausdorf uns wurde der Foodtruck sehr empfohlen. Die Burger waren mega lecker macht weiter so . Und tolles Personal und freundlich .

Mein Mann und ich waren hier auf Fehmarn für 5 Tage in Urlaub und müssen sagen: Das war der allerbester Cheeseburger, den ich jemals gegessen habe! Daumen hoch . 5 Sterne sind noch zu wenig.

Toll! Wirklich leckere Burger. Jeder für sich ist ein Kunstwerk 😊 Außen knuspriges und innen saftiges Beef. Tolle, hausgemachte Saucen und Ad-Ons. Wir hatten den Big Khahuna und den Avocado Burger 🍔💪 Cool, dass es so was auf der Ferieninsel gibt.

Wie immer sehr lecker. Der GrumpyDuck ist einfach der beste Burger! Überhaupt schmeckt alles was ihr anbietet!

Heute um 19.45, nach 30min in der Warteschlange, kommt die Aussage: wir kommen nicht mehr ins System. Kann man heute nichts mehr ohne pc?? Oder lag es daran, das noch 10 Bons zu bearbeiten waren und noch ca 20 einen Burger haben wollten? Aber dann wäre der Feierabend um 20.00 nicht machbar. Egal, nur das der brutzrlmeister keine Eier hatte und das allen mitgeteilt hat. Da mussten Kunde nachfragen was das heißt: wir kommen nicht ins System. Ergo. Flexibel wie eine stahlstange.

Waren eine Woche auf Fehmarn und haben beim Campingplatz Miramar gebucht. Zum Glück waren die Leute an unserem letzten Abend mit ihrem Foodtruck dort. Ich hatte den "The Beast" und es war der beste Burger den ich je hatte 👌 Meine Frau hatte den "Mafioso" und war auch begeistert. Dafür mache ich nochmal ne Woche Urlaub auf Fehmarn 😄

Lecker! Endlich mal ein völlig anderer Burger! Der Grumpy Duck Burger mit Entenfleisch und Rotkohl ist der Hammer! Die Pommes waren auch super! Freundliches Personal mit Partystimmung :) gerne wieder!

Ich war heute bei Grumpy Duck in Klausdorf. Wir kennen den Foodtruck vom Parkplatz in Burg und vom Weihnachtsmarkt und waren begeistert. Heute gab es Cheeseburger und Pommes mit Bärlauchmayonaise. Leider waren die Veganer Burger Patties schon aus, die vegane Variante hätte ich gerne probiert. Aber auch die Fleischvariante war super lecker, frisch zubereitet und auch die Pommes waren sehr gut. Die Mayo war mal was Neues, mir hat es gefallen und ich werde auch im nächsten Urlaub bei Euch essen. Tolles Konzept, alles super, sehr kinderfreundlich.

Bester Burger auf Fehmarn und überhaupt überall. Mega lecker, sehr sympathische Mitarbeiter und extrem sauber. Schade das er nur auf Fehmarn ist. Könnt ruhig zum Niederrhein expandieren 😄

1 Stunde Wartezeit für einen Burger!! Das geht gar nicht....sind lecker, aber Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht.

Leider komplett rohe Burger vorgesetzt bekommen. Wer auf einem Familienhof verkauft, wo kleine Kinder mitessen, sollte zumindest fragen, wie das Fleisch gebraten werden soll. Oder als Standard medium anbieten. Unsere Burger waren alle komplett rare und für uns daher ungeniessbar. Ob die Probleme mit dem Gas schuld waren? Vielleicht hatten wie einfach nur Pech, aber nochmal würden wir hier als Familie nicht essen. Wir waren auch nicht die einzigen, denen es heute so ergangen ist. Schade ums teure Geld!

Der Betreiber ist nordisch herb. Dem einen gefällt. Dem anderen weniger. Das Essen ist gut aber nichts außergewöhnliches. Sorgt für ein wenig Abwechslung und sollte auch weiterhin dafür sorgen.

Gerade zwei der Burger gegessen und wir müssen sagen: besser geht es kaum. Sehr gut gemacht, durchdachte und sehr schmackhafte Kombinationen. Sehr sehr lecker. 😋

Der Foodtruck hat unseren Ferienhof besucht und uns ein leckeres Abendessen beschert. Wir hatten den Grumpy Duck Burger, den Barbecue Burger, einen California Burger (Wochen-Spezial) und einen Cheeseburger. Dazu Pommes und Süßkartoffel-Pommes. Es war alles absolut empfehlenswert und hat die etwas längere Wartezeit in der Schlange vor dem Truck wettgemacht.

Wir besuchten einen der Foodtrucks an einem Mittwochabend und es war bereits eine wahnsinnig lange Schlange, als wir ankamen. So mussten wir 30 Minuten warten, bevor wir überhaupt unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Dann mussten wir noch 1 Stunde warten, bis die Burger fertig waren. Aber es hat sich immerhin gelohnt, denn sie schmeckten sehr lecker! Vielleicht sollte man lieber den Lieferservice testen um die Wartezeit zu vermeiden.
