We went to Restaurant Nettis for dinner with two adults and two children; we had reserved a table in advance. The service was peculiar from the start and at times seemed rude. The menu is concise, but after our visit, we simply cannot understand the hype surrounding this restaurant. We found the ambiance rather outdated. The decor felt old-fashioned and quite cluttered, overall somewhat oppressive. There were also Christmas decorations. We wanted to order pork schnitzel. We were served one "Viennese style" schnitzel and one schnitzel with cheese on top, as per the menu, as well as two "Schnitzel Satt" (all-you-can-eat schnitzels). This was not what we had ordered, and no one explained what this meant. When we asked, our request was brushed aside, leaving us feeling disregarded. From that point on, no one came to our table again – neither to ask if we wanted more drinks, nor to check if everything was alright, nor to see if we wanted to order any more schnitzel. ... The portions were large, but the schnitzels were extremely thin, stretched out, and far too dry for our taste. I needed two sauces. There was no garnish on the plates whatsoever—no salad, no vegetables, no side salad. The fried potatoes were swimming in grease and soggy. The breaded schnitzel, as described on the menu, was okay in terms of taste, but we did have to add some extra seasoning, which is, of course, a matter of personal preference. Overall, it was just a simple schnitzel at what we considered an overpriced and nothing special. There was no friendliness or even a small gesture towards the children when we paid. The bill was quite something. It was the most expensive evening of our 10 days on the island, even though everyone only had one drink and one meal. Every schnitzel, regardless of the variety, cost €23.90, a 0.3l soft drink was €3.90, and a beer was a whopping €5.40. Unfortunately, I couldn't add a picture. ...] We don't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant and wouldn't eat there again. There are many really good restaurants on Fehmarn.

Probably the best food Fehmarn has to offer. The venison fillets, for example, were amazing. And the schnitzel was great too. We've been there several times, even in previous years. Everything is expensive these days, but here you really get what you pay for. And the staff are friendly, in true North German style. The only slight drawback is that the back rooms are rather chilly.

We got a table spontaneously for New Year's Eve. The atmosphere was cozy, with pleasant lighting. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Even though we ended up leaving our dog in the car, I highly commend the restaurant's dog-friendliness.

A 10-year loyalty to this restaurant came to an abrupt end on October 31, 2025! We had arrived at Netti's with 10 hungry and thirsty mouths after making a reservation. Looking forward to a cold beer and delicious schnitzel (as always after the Whisky & Rum Festival, where we were exhibitors), we were quickly disappointed, as neither the wheat beer nor the draft pilsner tasted good (according to six of us, it lacked carbonation)! After complaining to the friendly waitress, she suggested there might be something wrong with the tap system, as another guest had complained earlier. She tried to resolve the issue with the chef... he reacted audibly and loudly, berating his waitress. As a result, the poor woman was removed from our table by her server, and a young man, who after another complaint revealed himself to be a teetotaler, accused me of making false statements. I asked for a bottle of beer as a remedy, but he refused! We demanded to speak to the manager... He appeared after we had already finished our meal without having eaten... He stood before us in all his imposing presence and asked what our problem was?! We explained our situation, pointing out that a complaint had already been filed... The female waitress was yelled at and practically humiliated... One felt sorry for the poor woman... He refused to rectify the situation, insisting that everything was in order... We then gave up and left the restaurant after paying for all our beers in full, to avoid escalating the situation... After so many years, this was a bitter disappointment... It was anything but the "nice" restaurant the name of the establishment implies... This is not how paying customers should be treated! What a shame... We left sad and disappointed! In the future, we will go to a different restaurant!

The food has been excellent here for years, however, the service has deteriorated dramatically since our last visits! Pre-ordering all-you-can-eat duck doesn't allow for seconds – that's unacceptable! We had to wait 40 minutes for dessert and had to ask for the bill three times, taking 20 minutes in total.

Service was very good. Schnitzel was hard and dripping with grease, fried potatoes without seasoning, swimming in grease.

It was really great! And the waiter was simply top-notch! You can walk in and feel right at home... unfortunately, you don't find that very often anymore.

We spontaneously got a table today. We had one schnitzel and one cheese spaetzle. Both were delicious and, despite the restaurant being full, arrived at our table within 17 minutes. We were both thrilled and will definitely be back! The service was as fantastic as the food! There's nothing to complain about here! Please keep it up! A trip worth it for everyone on the island!

This is a restaurant where you'll want to go and stay for a while. We ordered the duck. It was really good and juicy, served with red cabbage and two dumplings. The waitresses are so friendly and never at a loss for a quick joke. We especially liked Julia. :-D You can also feel the great working atmosphere. People get along well behind the scenes, which isn't something you can take for granted these days, and you can feel that as a guest, too. We'll definitely be back on our next vacation.

We visited Netti's for the first time after booking last minute for two people. We had herring and surf n turf with fried potatoes. The food was absolutely excellent and very lovingly prepared. There's nothing negative to say. Great and attentive service. The only criticism is that the seating is a bit cramped. But we'd be happy to come back.

Based on the reviews, we reserved our tables for our stay on Fehmarn. Now it was Netti's turn. A lady led us to the room where our table was. We sat down and looked around. A family was already seated in the room with five tables. Another couple arrived after us and was seated next to us. They ordered after us and received their drinks and food before us... Just a side note. After we got our menus and ordered two glasses of dry red wine (Merlot), we opted for the French onion soup and the homemade spring rolls. After about five minutes, we were told the onion soup was sold out and asked if we wanted something else instead. I was happy, but I had no choice but to skip the appetizer. It felt like 30 minutes. You could hear the chef scolding his staff over and over again—embarrassing! It was truly embarrassing, especially when you're later given a super-friendly send-off. We got our main course. There was no sign of my wife's starter yet. We were getting hungry too, so we didn't say anything at first. We decided on "Fred's Burger," I had beef, my wife chicken. They weren't patties, but chunks of meat. An interesting combination, albeit with tough beef. It resembled a shoe sole. The wine was very drinkable, but it didn't distract from the next mishap. After we were finally allowed to pay, I first checked the bill—they wanted us to pay for spring rolls. This was the last straw for us! We didn't get an apology for that either. Just a bill without a starter. We paid and left the restaurant in a huff. If you read the reviews here and on other sites, stories like this aren't uncommon. Unfortunately, they don't learn from their mistakes. The main thing is that they yell at their staff. It certainly isn't their fault!

I was at Nettis in 2012 – 13 years ago now. Since then, I've been thinking about the Feuerfleisch every now and then. Not an over-the-top showpiece, but simply really good food that stays with you – and that's perhaps the greatest compliment. The meat was robustly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and the vegetables – also pan-fried – weren't just a side dish, but a real part of the whole: aromatic, slightly firm to the bite, with that typical pan-fried flavor you can't simply recreate. The atmosphere back then was also pleasantly relaxed. Friendly people, good food, no fuss – exactly what you want when you want a good meal in peace. The fact that I'm still thinking about it after all this time says it all. And it's all the more wonderful that Nettis is still there – and so is the Feuerfleisch.

The fried potatoes were burnt, as was one side of the schnitzel, but the other side was deathly pale. The schnitzel was so dry and wasn't even fried in clarified butter; it simply tasted of old fat, just like the smell in the restaurant. The mushroom sauce is truly a culinary insult to every palate; it's an indefinable mush with mushrooms, but you have to search for it. The baked schnitzel with "cooked ham" is just as much of a joke; you simply don't need to have it. So, in conclusion, if you've ever had decent food there, congratulations. But I really don't know where the good reviews come from. For me, it's clearly a waste of money, and I definitely won't go there again.

We ate at Netti's with our neighbors and children, and it was simply sublime... 5-star service! 5-star food! Very good, freshly caught fish. I've known Netti's for years and we've always been enthusiastic. Unfortunately, our beloved Pannfisch was a disappointment this year and we were disappointed for the first time. The dish was only slightly reminiscent of the dish from previous years. There were two pieces of fish (one pressed like fish fingers only bigger and one real fish), mustard sauce and fried potatoes with bacon, pickled gherkin and a lettuce leaf. The fish was very disappointing and the pan had always been lovingly decorated with cranberries and a bit more lettuce. The sauce used to seem fresh but last time it was just warmed up and had been on the plate for a while because it had already formed a skin. We usually go there two or three times on holiday. This time only once in three weeks.

Everything was cold, as was the pan. The sauce was ordered separately. It was also cold and tasted of nothing. My husband had a fish plate. The fried potatoes were served separately and at least they were hot. Three types of fish. One was the unidentifiable pan-fried fish in a roll, plaice, and the other piece, whatever it was, was dry. The sauce wasn't tasty either. My son had nuggets with fries. The fries looked and tasted like they'd been fried for the second time. Nuggets with a slimy layer between the meat and the breading. Everything was very greasy. None of us finished our meals. The waitress seemed very surprised when we told her how it tasted and also declined the "apology schnapps." She wasn't interested in the review. The manager was obviously not in the mood. The good reviews are probably all outdated. Truly not recommended!

What a shame! We've had some great meals at Netti's before, but this time it was really bad. The French onion soup was simply sour, the pan-fried fish was still raw inside, and the chicken was undercooked. It just wasn't worth the price.

I specifically reserved a table a week in advance and, since it was my husband's birthday, wanted a table to the right of the entrance by the window. This was confirmed to me over the phone, and I was delighted. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were once again crammed into a small corner, and my mood was already at rock bottom. If there had been four people sitting at the window seat later on, I would have understood, but there were only two people there. The waiter was very polite. It was quite crowded and loud. The duck was okay, but not a highlight. The red cabbage was great, though. The sauce wasn't good. The value for money was okay. Just under €70 for two people. I was simply disappointed from the start, and that's why it was the last time we went there.

This was our second time there. Overall, I have to say that you can get much better food elsewhere for not much more. The burger is topped with a piece of meat, either beef, pork, or chicken. My choice was beef. The piece was tough. The salad was probably toasted along with the flatbread and Gouda cheese, and accordingly "well done." The French fries were certainly hot at some point. Overall, disappointing. Sauerfleisch: very fatty, you just have to like it that way. The fried potatoes were okay, but nothing more. Plaice: okay, but no fish cutlery! Fried fish: you can't go wrong with that, any snack bar can do it. The French fries were just like the burger. Ambience: rustic, clean, perfectly fine! My chair squeaked, it happens sometimes. Service was good enough, but I can't fault the food. The restaurant is often fully booked, which is certainly due to the tourist crowd; once is not enough. And why was I there for the second time? Forgetfulness, I suspect.

Finally, it's great again. Awesome team with amazing service. The food is amazing. The spring rolls are amazing. The duck is superb. The liver is very good. The drinks are nice and cold. We'll definitely be back.

We weren't on Fehmarn during peak season; we had made a reservation, and the restaurant was busy with guests without reservations. The really friendly team went out of their way to offer us a table. However, the restaurant is quite small, with a limited number of tables, so I can imagine that you could have bad luck in peak season. The restaurant offers, among other things, all-you-can-eat duck. You definitely have to pre-order here. Of course, duck takes time. We did, however, have fish, as befits its status. Very tasty, good, large portions. All in all, there's nothing to complain about, and we'll be back on our next vacation. If there's one drawback, it's that there's no parking. You'll just have to look for somewhere else in the surrounding streets, which might not be so ideal if you have limited mobility.

I had a creamed mushroom schnitzel with fried potatoes – the sauce seemed like a convenience product, but it still tasted good. My wife had a baked schnitzel, which was also very tasty. The fried potatoes were unfortunately reheated, but otherwise tasted good. The schnitzels themselves were huge and filling. The clean restrooms, including a changing table, are worth mentioning – very family-friendly. Conclusion: Nettis serves excellent schnitzel. To eat: The schnitzels were juicy and well seasoned. Unfortunately all the sauces were a disappointment except the pepper sauce. Unfortunately, my favorite sauce, the mushroom frames, didn't taste like anything and it was runny like water. Maybe we were having a bad day, or our group was too large, or I chose the wrong dish? I ordered a rump steak with peppercorn sauce and fried potatoes. The first steak was so overcooked that I had to return it (the same thing happened at the next table...). Then, eventually, a replacement arrived; the others at the table were naturally full by then... The steak was better cooked, but tough and flavorless... The peppercorn sauce was missing, the beans were cold, etc. What a shame!

Unfortunately you can only give 5 stars. At the end of our short vacation we stopped here without having reserved beforehand and actually got a table. The atmosphere is homely. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the service was relaxed, attentive, omnipresent and not intrusive. The food was super tasty. The portions were very, very plentiful. Last but not least, we were impressed by the fee to be paid. Fantastic eating is really not a luxury here. We'll definitely be back!
