The Baltic Sea is synonymous with fish sandwiches. You can get the best on the coast here at Fischerman's. Super fresh in the "Muschelbrötchen" (mussel sandwich). Or, if you're really hungry, try the fish and chips with their amazing garlic sauce. The two owners are super nice and make a real effort to spoil their guests. We've become regulars and can highly recommend this little fish snack bar!

Super delicious fried fish, freshly prepared. Whether fried fish or fish and chips, both tasted delicious. The portions were generous. The patio in the backyard was also great for eating together.

The food was delicious, no question. However, there was a hefty price increase, and the fish and chips menu only included one fish instead of two. Price up, quantity down, and unfortunately, the recipe was wrong.

Absolute disappointment In September 2024, there were still two pieces of fish (fish and chips). I'm appalled that you only get one SMALL piece for €12.50. That wasn't enough for my 3-year-old daughter. Although we eat there every year, this was our last time. It's a real shame. Because otherwise, it was really good.

I've always been very skeptical about fish and chips, but you have to try this! Everything is homemade, including the coleslaw and fries. And you can taste it. The fish is juicy, the breading thin and crispy. The garlic sauce tastes of garlic. The fries are perfect! I highly recommend it!

We happened upon it by chance because we wanted something to eat before leaving. It's rather unassuming, but the signs are well-designed and simple... and they were by far the tastiest fish and chips and fish sandwiches I've ever eaten. Homemade tartar sauce, fresh onions, good coleslaw... generous portions. Even our two little ones, who only look at fish in the water or, at best, touch it in a stick shape, ate enthusiastically. A must-visit during a stay on Fehmarn. 👍🏼🤤

No sooner said than done: Stylish, simple stall and... Oh, I'm often a bit disappointed, but here you can see how much heart and soul goes into it. A nice chat while ordering. Fisherman's on Fehmarn is definitely always worth a visit. We've been there several times, and for us, it's the best fried fish sandwiches, herring, and especially fish and chips. Always super freshly prepared, the hosts are very friendly, simply fantastic. Last time, we also discovered the cute terrace at the back, where you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed and pleasant way. A dream...if you leave Fehmarn without visiting the island, you will miss the best fish rolls and fries. And then the warm hosts. Thank you, you just made us happy today. The beginning was bumpy. With great hunger we had to start looking for cash again. The EC device has not yet been delivered. After 10 minutes we were well stocked again and could take the order. The kids had the homemade fish cakes with tartar sauce. According to the children, these were the Burners. We adults decided on 2 x fried fish with garlic sauce. And what can I say: it was the best fried fish in years. And the garlic sauce was also an absolute hit. At first we wondered why the fried fish took so long. But it is freshly made and you can taste it straight away. The EC card problem was quickly forgotten. The delicious food and the mega friendliness of the owners are simply great.

For us, this is the best fish stall on the island: crispy, fresh rolls with plenty of toppings and friendly service. If you don't want to eat standing up, you can take a seat on the street and watch the hustle and bustle or sit comfortably in the back of the courtyard and sniff. The homemade fish cakes are particularly delicious. Absolute recommendation!
