A week's vacation. I can only recommend it, everything you need is there, especially everything has been thought of to make it a great vacation.

No nigh lamp in the room, no wifi. Overall ok

We stayed at the hotel for the first time in March. The room was actually quite nice, but the view from the 4th floor directly onto the roof of the restaurant wasn't that great. There was hardly anything to be seen of the Baltic Sea. Day room had 2 beds, well you can push them together. Otherwise everything was so great that we booked again in September. I hope that we can now get a room on the other side and higher would be great. We're looking forward to it!! So see you soon...

This holiday apartment/hotel complex is one of the most poorly maintained we have seen in a long time. Just to go into the points: WiFi, rooms and reception: - After a five-hour journey, you encounter a seven-meter-long queue at reception, which only slowly clears after 30 minutes as everyone is checking in. - the holiday apartments (we had booked two of them on two different floors) were in an incredibly worn and unclean condition. There is no window in the bathroom and no functioning ventilation. - WiFi is available, but so bad that a provider shouldn't advertise it. (our opinion) and finally: Pictures say more than a thousand words.

Supper, everything is great. I spent my second vacation for the second time.

I took away a star from the room because the furniture is insultingly worn and the bathroom taps have black edges (limescale and age deposits). No blame to the room maintenance staff, but to the operating company. Otherwise I stick with my earlier statement: Location is great. Bathrooms and furnishings in the apartments are outdated and have not been renovated for a long time. Equipped with different kitchen "units" and cutlery. No dishwasher, old hobs (plates). Anyone who loves it will still come back again and again. Whoever doesn't, doesn't.

We've been to ifa fehmarn several times, but unfortunately it's getting worse and worse. I had already booked 5 apartments a year ago for this year in August. Everything was ok with the two in the marina. With the 3 apartments in the Fernblick houses, I would have expressly asked to live on the upper floors and the rooms should be next to each other. This would also be noted on the booking. Ultimately we were distributed to floors 7, 11 and 14. When we asked at reception, the only answer was that we were lucky to be in the same house. That's not nice as a family. There were no fly screens on the balcony or window so you had to sleep with the window and door closed otherwise there would be an invasion of flies in the room. The frames on the outside of the window and balcony door are extremely dirty and have not been cleaned despite two complaints at reception. The mattresses are way too soft. The priceless sea view is positive. We had dinner at the Windrose and everything was perfect. Food delicious, staff very friendly. We are really thinking about booking our favorite hotel here again, but this year we were really more disappointed than nice. We would have booked Soltysec

The view is simply unique. The rooms are old but clean. The staff is very friendly and tries to solve any problems. A huge minus point are the activity options in the hotel. 4 of 7 gaming tables are defective. There's always a lot going on in the evenings. Maybe you should set up one or two more table tennis tables or repair the existing ones.

Beautiful apartment on the 14th floor with a balcony and of course a view of the Baltic Sea❣️

Holiday apartment at the marina with a view of the marina. Very friendly welcome upon arrival and very good explanation of how to get to the apartment. Apartment is functionally furnished and was tidy and clean. Very nice view of the marina. Beach was about 100 meters behind the house. Parking space can be rented for 5 euros per night. Unfortunately, the parking lot numbers were a bit faded, so the initial orientation took a little longer - but it was right next to the front door.

How can you build such ugly concrete blocks into the landscape?

The second time I was here was for a week in Haus Vitamar (family holiday apartment) good for self-catering. Like last time, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we were unlucky that a host family smoked in the room before us, despite the absolute ban on smoking in all rooms. The staff immediately took care of this problem using special room spray. The location of the hotel is wonderful as we are right on the beach. 2 minutes walk from the hotel to the beach. The south beach is cleaned every morning with special vehicles. The beach is ideal, even for families with small children, as you can walk a long way in and still stand a long way. The promenade on the south beach invites you to take a walk, there are many restaurants, ice cream parlors and shops for your daily needs. The Vitamar house also has a swimming pool and a sauna. You can also use a gym. As far as the furnishings of the rooms are concerned, everything is there, per number of people. The facility is getting old and it would be desirable to bring it into line with today's times. Despite all this, it's still OK for a family holiday. We love Fehmarn and especially the south beach, we always come back!!! Thanks for everything 🫶

Yes, the hotel is getting old, that cannot be overlooked. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful holiday, 16 floors, you can't beat the view, the beach is simply wonderful. The room was great even if the paint was off here and there. The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower curtain, well, a plus was the mini kitchen, sink, refrigerator, ceramic hob, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, enough dishes, can opener, corkscrew, everything was there. Anyone who still complains has themselves to blame. Breakfast in the Wildrose, very cozy, but quite expensive at 17.90. Selection okay, scrambled eggs, muesli, bread rolls, yogurt, everything was there. Unfortunately the same thing every day. On request, omelette, fried egg, latte, etc. The staff deserves a super plus for this, very friendly and helpful. I rate the meal in the same way in the evening, buffet for two people €69. The food is good, but quite expensive. All in all, a successful holiday, we will definitely come back. …… once Fehmarn … always Fehmarn. Thank you very much

We only went to the beach bar and it was very nice and pleasant. You have to get your own drinks but that's OK

Never again!!! We had a 2 room apartment in the marina. The location was quite ok. All the equipment is old. The rooms were completely dirty. The bathroom was full of hair and dirt. The shower stall hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. The fridge was dirty. There are stains and dead mosquitoes and beetles everywhere on the walls. The curtains are stained. And it smells really bad when you enter the apartment. This has nothing to do with the fact that something was overlooked. They simply don't clean here! And the wifi doesn't work. The bed squeaks with every movement. Unfortunately I can't say anything positive about the accommodation.

Fantastic view of the Baltic Sea! The facility is a bit old. Renovations are probably planned. The room was still cozy with a bathtub and really comfortable mattresses. The internet is unfortunately very bad, but it is also a general problem on the island. The staff is very nice. There are some leisure activities, including indoor ones for rainy days. The beach is clean, you can get there in just a few minutes from your room.

It can be seen that the complex was built in the 1960s. Work was and is constantly being done to satisfy and adapt the facility to the current wishes of holidaymakers. But the expansion of the digital infrastructure, which has been much praised in Germany, does not seem to have yet been realized here. Wi-Fi with access to the Internet is still a matter of luck and, if at all possible, is only limited to randomly free hot spots. But all in all, the facility is well maintained and the employees are always ready to provide helpful support.

Yes, the hotel rooms could do with a little renovation, but the location and the view are simply amazing, I would definitely go there again. Buffet early and evening in the Windrose is simply great. The service is super friendly and accommodating. Everything is easily accessible and bicycles can be stored.

I enjoyed the times with the children, very nice vacation spot, there is a lot to see, clear but for me cold water in the lake, great climate, enough sights 👍

We spent 4 days on vacation in the hotel, it was just great and we would always come back. The breakfast is extensive and leaves nothing to be desired, the walk to the beach takes less than 5 minutes, the room was clean and tidy, the view from the room is fantastically beautiful (we were on the 4th floor). You can rent beach chairs, stand-up chairs and much more right on the beach, we can recommend it with a good heart. The staff was very friendly and attentive, big praise to everyone who works hard there every day 😊

The rooms are very large but simply furnished. Cleaning takes place daily.

I travel often and in my experience I have never seen such a poor quality hotel or holiday apartment. In my booking there is permanent internet, but there is no internet anywhere. Not only in our holiday apartment but also in the hotel. And there is no landline on our cell phone. I have 2 children (17, 11 years old) and for myself. Breakfast reserved which costs €63 just one day. And we only saw salami and old rolls and a few types of yogurt and got tasteless coffee. There is a bus from the town a bit to the city. But only once every hour. No concept, no organization. Big disappointment and not recommended.

All rooms have a balcony facing the lake. The beach is also right outside the door.

When you arrive at the reception you will be charged with tourist tax and money for parking in the hotel car park... 5 euros per day for parking is a disgrace! I'm already paying a lot of money for the room... and the Wi-Fi connection from the house sucks... It doesn't work at all. The vacuum cleaner in the room was so full and covered up that it couldn't vacuum anything... The 2 room room (2 children 2 adults) is smaller than the in-laws' one room room. No air conditioning... The sun burns into the room all day long, the curtain in front of the balcony door doesn't help... Almost 24 to 26 degrees in the room in the evening. I don't recommend it.

The location right on the water is good - the staff is very friendly. But even if the entire location is a listed building, the room is no longer up to date. Hotplates with single burner, indoor bathroom with poor ventilation. Carpet everywhere. A squeaky sofa bed. Minimal kitchen equipment. Chipped paint on the railing. Everything is a bit too much for a nice view to make it good. We left after one night and would not recommend the house. Addition after response from the provider: the fact that a renovation is pending confirms the condition described and should be communicated to the guests in advance!

We arrived late and we missed checking the price online! If we had done that, it would have cost about SEK 1300 instead of us having to pay SEK 2600, really bad with such a difference

this hotel is an absolute horror. We booked for 4 people, and the 4th bed linen and towels have to be rented for a fee. Everything in this room is dirty. Not at all like the photos. The wallpaper is peeling off on the walls and the floor on the balcony is peeling.

Well, you can tell that the facility is getting old. Location is great right on the beach but otherwise old.

The location is of course great. I rented a holiday apartment with my daughter in Haus Vitamar. 3 nights for €495 with tourist tax and parking space. For this price I expected a lot more and have already received it at other Baltic Sea locations. The holiday apartment was of an outdated standard. No dishwasher, a toaster that was pretty dirty, the dishes were stained, the shower was surrounded by a shower curtain so that the bathroom was flooded with water after the first shower. The bedding was stained and had some hair on it. In addition, the rooms were very noisy, making it difficult to relax in the evening. Since there were rubbers on the carpet in front of the next room every 4 days, the hallway doesn't seem to be cleaned every day either. I know it differently from other houses. But the bed itself was really good, I've also experienced worse.

Nice location but the room is really not that stylish. The huge winter garden that connects all 3 towers is cool

We went on holiday there for a week as a family of three (child 4 years old) and thought it was great. The view was great and the walk to the beach with soft and clean sand was super short. You have everything you need on site (shop, bakery, various restaurants, souvenir shops). By bike you could get to Burg within 10-15 minutes. And if you needed anything, the reception was quick and friendly to help. There are only two things to note: 1. The kitchen has all the basics you need, but is really only minimally equipped. My tip: bring a sharp knife and a multiple socket (there are very few sockets in the room). 2. There was very little information at check-in, you had to ask a lot about things during your stay (e.g. there are bicycle garages; checkout is at 10 a.m.). But basically a great hotel in a great location at a fair price.

Was here with the family and can say that you pay for the view and how close it is to the nice and long beach. If you have things planned outside the hotel walls, this can be a really good option as the small city center is close. The beach has several piers, if you swim out there are floating piers with slides, you can rent or get a beach chair through the hotel which is cozy. But wifi is not good in the room or at the reception. After all, it was built in 1973, so they probably haven't updated much since then. Positively -Nice view of the beach and thus close and good roller beach where the hotel is connected to the hotel. - 3 elevators to go up with so there is not much waiting time - There was a kettle, cutlery and plates, a fridge and a small freezer -Basic room Negativity -Lived on the 10th floor and the wifi was really unstable where I couldn't connect at all. - Had ordered for 4 people but only got duvets and pillows for 3, one bed had no sheets so we had to go and ask about it. -They do not offer shower gel or shampoo/conditioner -plastic cutlery mixed with proper cutlery

Great location. The hotel is getting old but simply practical and clean. Everything is close to each other, the restaurant, FehMare and especially the beach. Price performance is okay. Gladly again👍

We spent a long weekend there in the hotel. The room was simple but clean. The service was great. The staff was really nice. Breakfast buffet perfect. Child friendly. Perfect holiday even with children. The hotel is located directly by the sea. Beach bar right in front of the hotel, very nice. What more do you want. Any time.

IFA Fehmarn is unbeatable in terms of location, the view from the Fernblick houses cannot be beaten. We used to go there often and again today since we know that we can lock our bikes in garages 👍

We always enjoy staying here and will check in here again next year.

If you like it quiet, this is the right place for you. We have been coming here for more than 28 years. Personally, I also find the partly older furnishings very nice and childhood feelings quickly come back.

Architectural sin or cult object, we think the latter. Very warm welcome. Hotel in a prime location on the beach.

Very nice, large room with a sea view, nice staff and good breakfast buffet. Close to the beach, but unfortunately the three 15-story hotel buildings are real "concrete bunkers". No WiFi connection possible during our stay.

2 Next booked stayed 1 night. The buildings are getting old. The holiday apartment can only be reached via stairs and the hallways are very narrow and are not suitable for people with wheelchairs. There is clear water damage on the walls and door on the ground floor. There is an elevator where the doors close so that parents with children have to be careful. The elevator is also so narrow that wheelchairs cannot get in there. The apartment is very cluttered, small, narrow hallways. The kitchenette was dirty with black hair, the refrigerator and the ventilation grilles at the top of the refrigerator were full of old food and sticky. The bottom edge of the toilet seat had old urine stains. The worktop was dirty with old sticky dust. The extractor hood filters have not been changed for a long time. The mattresses are sagging and turning over in bed becomes an adventure as it creaks and squeaks everywhere. You can hear loud seagull noises coming from the ventilation. I found it pleasant, but it might bother some. The view was the best thing about the apartment. The staff were informed on the evening of arrival. They tried hard and offered basic cleaning the next day. Unfortunately, I discovered a few things afterwards that were unacceptable to me. The next morning I left and informed the employee. Unfortunately they didn't come to meet me, which is what I would have liked under the circumstances. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the holiday resort.

The location is really ideal, right on the beach. What more do you want.

We spent a long weekend in the holiday apartment with separate bedrooms on site. If you want, it can be used by up to 4 people. The sofa in the living area can be folded out and then has a mattress, see picture. The kitchen is simply equipped but sufficient. Unfortunately the ventilation in the bathroom doesn't work. It is getting old, but is still tastefully and appropriately furnished. The whole accommodation is very clean. The breakfast is in buffet form and rich, unfortunately it is not very vegan-friendly and you can tell that some of the quality has been saved.

Room was okay, slightly shabby and one or two things weren't cleaned very well. The service from reception and when booking by telephone was excellent.

The IFA Fehmarn is a holiday center in Burgtiefe on the southern beach of Fehmarn. The three high-rise buildings belonging to the complex can be seen from afar. These appear to have been built in the 1970s. All rooms have (possibly partial) sea views. There are no rooms facing the land side. The rooms are in good condition for their age and generally clean, although some signs of wear and tear can be seen. The complex has a kind of passage on the ground floor that connects the houses and contains restaurants, bars, snack bars and shops. There are also seats and an indoor playground with classic sand toys, but also pool tables and air hockey tables. The beach promenade runs directly in front of the houses, behind which is the beach. Next to the complex is the wave pool with a small square where you can find some stalls with souvenirs and food. The staff is nice and accommodating. There are enough toilets and they are clean. What's really bad is the WiFi: you either can't connect to it at all or if you do, it's very slow. If you haven't booked any meals with your accommodation, the prices in the restaurants in the complex are a little higher, as is typical for a hotel, but still good. An all-you-can-eat buffet costs EUR 30 and the breakfast buffet costs around EUR 18. The food is very tasty (Windrose Restaurant). Paid parking spaces are available. The complex is really nice for a few days of beach vacation. Especially when the weather cooperates. In just a few minutes you can reach Burg by car. Bicycle tours are also possible.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right by the sea. The view from the room is wonderful, seeing the sea in all its beauty. The beach is beautiful, the surrounding towns and restaurants offer everything you need for a great vacation. We found the room clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen equipped with everything we needed. During our stay we also had an illness, not very lucky... and the reception staff took care of it quickly... an emergency doctor was there quickly. Many thanks to everyone for their help. I highly recommend this beautiful place that we will definitely return to.

Right on the promenade, plenty of food, not far to the harbor - you can see the submarine It's just a shame that there was no safe in the room. You could rent one at reception (1€ per day), but you always had to ask someone to open the safe. That didn't detract from the friendliness of the reception staff. Furthermore, the staff in the dining room and everyone else you met were also extremely friendly.

Location of the hotel is top. You shouldn't be put off by the external appearance. Price/performance is okay here. We had a room on the top floor and the view was to die for. The furnishings of the rooms are certainly not up to date, but they are functional and clean. The mattresses in our room were really great, we rarely slept so well in a hotel bed. We'd love to come back.

We were in the IFA complex, more precisely in Haus Vitamar, for a little over a week. The location on the south beach is sensational, from the building directly onto the beach. This and the surrounding facilities (marina, promenade) are very well maintained and the public toilets are exemplary. Great beach chair rental company. Now to the less nice things: the entire IFA hotel complex is in urgent need of renovation. Everyone can judge the architecture of the towers for themselves, but I personally find it terrible. The furnishings are from the last century. Unfortunately, we didn't find our room clean and had to clean the most important parts ourselves. We had countless insects on the balcony (the view is of course sensational). Unfortunately, I can only give a poor assessment of the cleaning performance. All in all, we still had a nice week, but next time I would choose different accommodation.

Old hotel in the style of the late 70's with appropriate furniture and extremely simple, small bathrooms. Room was big enough, with a balcony and on the 14th floor a really great view of the sea and the marina (Haus Copenhagen). Cleanliness was ok, breakfast for 3 stars but not more. We found it extremely negative that the check-in time was 5 p.m. (it was only slightly earlier for us). All in all, the location of the hotel is great, the rest is 3 stars

We had an apartment there. The furnishings are already quite worn out and unfortunately it wasn't cleaned properly beforehand because there was still a lot of sand, especially on the sofa. What was unfortunately not visible in the pictures beforehand is the additional bed. There was a wall bed in the small hallway between the toilet and the living room...

It's just an old hotel but it's worth being there again and again!

For our anniversary I thought I'd book a room with a sea view! First of all, the sea view was the only thing that scored points! Our room was very, very old! The carpet was very dirty here and there! There was a thick layer of dust on the carpet in the corners. The kitchen was crumbling... Doors and drawers were not at the same height... The back wall of the wall cupboard was crumbling... Individual pieces were lying on plates, glasses and cups... The floor lamp didn't even work... .. A hanging lamp where the cable just hung down.... All in all, relatively cheeky for the price... It's more reminiscent of single apartments for failed existences than a nice stay in a hotel....After only 3 hours we met decided to start the journey home. As I've read here many times, changing rooms wouldn't have helped...The location is fantastic!!! Small restaurants nearby! We were at Surfing Am Meer over the swimming pool, very lovely staff and good food!

Absolutely outdated complex, everything that can crumble is crumbling here. Anyone who likes 70s/80s charm is in the right place here. The employees in the fish restaurant smoke in the restaurant while it is closed and you can smell it not only inside but also in the vivarium in front of it. The only good thing is the really nice location right on the beach. It's not the hotel's fault that it's paved with prohibition signs, but it's still not very pleasant.

It's getting old, but the breakfast is great and the location is just great.

We really like being in this hotel, but I would like to have a Bible in my room next time we come. Just as it has always been the custom in our Christian country.💜✝️

Already a bit old. But the location is sensational and the price is fair. Additional offers are worthwhile (“cuddly days” with coffee and waffles, cocktails and entry to the swimming paradise). Nice beach and good paths for walks. Self-catering with kitchen possible. Plenty of options for eating out on site. Very welcome again at any time.

The toilet only flushes if you pour in a jug of water. The elevator is broken and the sign has probably been hanging for ages. On the 13th floor we had the feeling that the building was swaying :).The room was nice and spacious with a good kitchenette. Good shopping opportunities nearby. Unfortunately my feeling says only 2 stars.

You can spend your vacation in the holiday complex. If not, the complex has its own bus stop and you can get everywhere quickly. Otherwise, excursion trips are also available directly.

Very nice hotel, clean and good view

A true treasure by the sea! Our stay at IFA was absolutely fantastic. Although the hotel has been around for a few years, it still offers the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. The breathtaking sea view from our room was simply priceless. It was a relief to wake up every morning to the soothing sound of the waves. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. They made our stay as pleasant as possible and helped us immediately with every concern. The cleanliness of the room and the entire facility was impeccable, which gave us an additional feeling of comfort and well-being. The location of the hotel is simply unbeatable. Located right by the sea, we were able to enjoy the sunset on our terrace every evening. The proximity to various sights and restaurants also rounded off our stay. All in all, we can recommend the IFA Hotel without reservation. For us it was the perfect place to get away from it all and experience the beauty of the coast. We will be back definitely!

Rooms are a bit old but everything you need is there

Stayed in a 2 room apartment (5th floor) in the Copenhagen house for 1 week. The apartment was clean and cozy. The view of the Baltic Sea from the balcony is fantastic. We had booked the breakfast buffet in the Windrose restaurant. It was very comfortable to sit there, the service was friendly and made a lot of effort to make all the guests happy. Well organized, filling and tasty. We will be back definitely.

Everything fine. The apartments in the high-rise building are small, functionally designed and the brilliant view from the not-so-small balcony often extends over the Baltic Sea as far as Mecklenburg! But I would like to mention the kitchenette with basic equipment, which convinced me. We too will probably become “repeat offenders” with you.

We stayed here for three days. We really enjoyed it. Great location and totally sufficient for the money. We had a one-room apartment, nothing was missing here. Kitchen well equipped. The beds are good, a sofa and sitting area.....great view. We'll definitely be back. Great.

Great, Management business idea

Wonderful vacation spent in the IFA Tower House Copenhagen on the 12th floor. A fantastic view of the Baltic Sea. The room was also great, but I found the mattress too soft. But still clearly deserves five stars.

The three stars for the rooms are justified and sufficient. The breakfast buffet is delicious, varied and plentiful. The bike garages are great and safe. We'd love to come back.

I've been there for the third time now. The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice and the views from the rooms were always of the sea. It wasn't the last time and I say thank you!!

Great location on the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn Three floods that are connected to each other. Pure vacation

The staff is sometimes very nice, sometimes they seem disinterested. The houses are quite old and absolutely not modern! Nevertheless, everything is intact, a lot of things are available in the small kitchen in the rooms and the view from the balcony is amazing! Ideally you are at least on floor 4! With that good luck over 10!

It was a lovely weekend, we can't complain, everything was great.

A very nice hotel right on the beach. Beautiful apartments, great and attentive service, and delicious, balanced cuisine with great service. Also recommended for families with children. I will book again

We go here several times a year...just switch off...take long walks on the beach with the kids...collect shells...

The view is simply fantastic, the rooms are ok, the 70s towers aren't nice, but the view is just great.

I have been coming to Fehmarn regularly for 20 years, many times as a guest at ifa. The hotel isn't an eye-catcher from the outside, but the staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the location is of course unbeatable. What I noticed this time was that the rooms could perhaps be renovated. The innerspring mattress let me feel every single spring and you look in vain for sockets on the bed or directly on the sofa to charge your cell phone. Unfortunately, the WiFi did not work during the entire stay.
