We had a fantastic stay. The ladies at the reception deserve special mention. They were fantastic. The room was clean. Everything was great! The hotel is right on Marktplatz. June 14, 2025 5:00 PM

There was only one bath towel in our room, and the shower faucet was completely broken. It was almost impossible to adjust the water temperature, and we almost scalded ourselves right from the start. We couldn't report the problem because we arrived very late, the reception was unmanned, and when we checked out, there was no one there either, just a basket to drop off the key.

I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there. The room was noisy, a constant muffled noise all night long. Also, we couldn't get into the building where the room was at night. The key was broken. The bad thing is that we found out from the breakfast staff that the problem is known. A couple had to sleep outside once. If we had arrived 30 minutes later, the same would have happened to us. No emergency number in this case or anything else. Just sad and, in my opinion, deliberate if the problem is known. We were lucky that the restaurant was still open. Pillows are a waste, it's best to bring your own and there is no small fridge in the room. Luckily we were only staying one night. I just called again and asked. The employee didn't give a damn and cut us off. So just stay away from it.

Perfect location in the middle of a cozy neighborhood. Parking at the back is a plus.

An outrage with a good location I'm rarely speechless, but Hotel Wissers Burg on Fehmarn has achieved this. "Severely run-down and showing its age" is a polite way of describing this place. It's a ruin where you can spend a lot of money. Where do I begin? Numerous broken pieces of furniture, a completely limescale-covered and broken shower head that dribbles more than it showers, and a sofa bed in the four-bed room that's an outrage and borders on back pain. The breakfast is a hodgepodge of cheap junk – quality? None at all! The windows are ancient, riddled with holes, and with broken, broken mechanisms, guaranteeing drafts and noise. Doorknobs are broken, the springs torn off, so the bathroom door no longer closes properly – privacy? What's that? The view from the window? A dilapidated facade a meter away and a rotten canopy. Pure romance! One stool was so tattered that its interior was broken, making it a real hazard. The only bright spot is the actually good and central location. But that alone can't make up for the serious shortcomings. The service and reception were uncaring and disinterested – as a guest, you don't feel welcome here, but rather tolerated. I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances. It's an investment in frustration and disappointment. Save your money and find something better.

Nice old hotel, rooms are still in the “old” style but really super clean, including the bathroom. Breakfast is good. Price performance is also good.

6 days, 5 nights stay for a lot of money… Unfortunately we only got a minimum standard. Positive: + Breakfast: sufficient, but the same every day, no variation. + Location: right in the center of Burg Negative: - Room: horrible. Very old, wallpaper hanging down, bathroom old, furniture very old-fashioned, different mattress sizes (bed frame larger than mattress, one 80cm and one 90cm), broken toilet flushers, different shower temperatures (almost burnt) - even after complaining they just said "yes, it needs to be repaired. Problems are known." - Service: which one? Rooms are cleaned maximum once a week. Regular cleaning of the room can only be expected with appropriate advance notice, otherwise not. No change of towel, toilet paper or garbage bags. - no water, hygiene products for women, little toilet paper. - Reception is only occupied from time to time, otherwise the doors there are locked. - Path from the reception to the rooms (through a corridor) very dirty from the seagulls. - not enough parking spaces, when we asked we were given incorrect information. Conclusion: not recommended! It's better to spend €100-200 more and have a decent standard for it. No relaxation at all. If I could, I wouldn't give it a star.

First class service. Drinks served first class. However, management should clarify business matters with staff in other premises. Management could definitely be more customer-oriented. Otherwise a great restaurant and recommended.

Our room was clean and had everything we needed. However, it was also showing its age and needed some renovation and furnishing. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing more. The scrambled eggs, for example, were cold.

We stayed here as a family of three and paid about €124. Everything was fine. However, the beds were very narrow at 80 cm each. Nevertheless, everything else was fine.

I had to make a stopover including an overnight stay on a bike trip to Copenhagen and ended up in Wissers. The room (I think 268) was really unreasonable - even for less than 60 euros per night. The bathroom was not separated from the room, the mattress was unreasonable, the pillow wasn't worth the name. If the back pain is worse in the morning than in the evening, then the bed sucks - the same applies here. The television was about 17 inches and the same program was playing on all channels: snow in the fog. The room was very much like a single cell in a prison. Location, staff friendliness very good.

Generally fine, but the service and rooms were insufficient! Lots of mold in the bathroom and NO breakfast. Everywhere it was indicated that breakfast would be from 07:00, but only the cleaner was there and he told us that there was no staff🤯. Also, there is not much to say about staff, very short and also saying that breakfast is from 07:00 the next morning

The room is really good and nice, the breakfast is delicious and there is a nice bar where you can get something to drink and the service is really nice.

Strange room layout. Hard to find your room. Once in the room. No fridge. No kettle. Cold as a rock (despite the heating on the radiators) Hard beds. Thin flat pillows. No extra pillows. The trash can in the toilet was not emptied. So-so breakfast. Grumpy and boring breakfast staff.

Possibly acceptable for one day. The room was big. The bathroom was probably set up by a plumber who previously equipped a kindergarten, the toilet bowl was so low (child-friendly)🤔The breakfast buffet was simple, cheap baked rolls, sausage and cheese, simple canteen goods. If, like in our case, a bus group has cleared out the buffet beforehand, you have to make do with what's left, nothing was added. Will not recommend the hotel and will not book it again.

Unfortunately, the hotel has deteriorated significantly over the last year. Unfriendly reception at the reception and a mouse ran through the restaurant twice during dinner. The staff's reaction was "The door was open all day today"

Hotel Wissers in Burg in Germany has very different rooms, from small to large, some with a patio. Smaller TVs are available in the rooms. There is a restaurant at the hotel. The hotel is right in the center, so if you want to go out for a bit of shopping, there are good opportunities for that.

It's ok for one night. If you look over the bathroom door that doesn't close. Breakfast was ok, a bit of everything. The furniture is very old

The overall impression is great. Located in the city center, yet quiet and all 'normal' wishes are fully satisfied. I/we did not use the service 😀

We ate a Lovely dinner at the hotel the night we arrived, I recommend the rump steak. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was hard, which I like, but I didn’t like the pillows, to soft, Next time I will bring my own, but that’s the only thing I found bad. The breakfast was delicious and had it all! The scrambled eggs was really yummy! An extra plus for the gluten-free bread and nice coffee. The breakfast lady was kind and service minded.

Super hotel in the middle of the village

The number of stars indicates to what extent our expectations were met. Totally so. A spacious room, shower with full and warm water jet and high-quality mattresses. We stayed 1 night in transit, but due to the size of the rooms and the prime location in the pleasant center of Fehmarn, a longer stay would certainly be possible! We also received good service with a personal and clear explanation when it turned out that we would arrive late due to traffic jams. We entered with no difficulty and found our room.

The NP Hotel Wissers gave me a very pleasant stay. The rooms are modern and clean, the breakfast is delicious, although the selection could be a little larger. A more spacious, covered smoking area and elevators would have been useful to make it easier to get luggage to the rooms. A second room key would also have been helpful in order to be able to act more independently. Overall, however, a recommendable accommodation in a great location!

It was OK. Were only there one night on the way to Sweden.

After the takeover of the family-run company, there were severe losses in restaurant operations.

Everything is clean and tidy, but given the prices, the furniture needs to be improved and modernized. Likewise, the super small mini TV on the wall, which makes it difficult to see what's on from bed without glasses.

Okay hotel downtown, service a little bit slow but friendly.

Never again, the fish platter was a joke, we've had better ones, the fried potatoes were very fluff, we only got the salt shaker after asking twice, we ordered an espresso but never got it. I would have understood it if the young woman hadn't noticed, but she even asked if I had an espresso or two. We will never go there again, which is why we hardly gave any tips because we don't give anything for bad service.

The NP Hotel Wissers is a good hotel in itself. The room was nicely tidy and there was a TV and a safe. The staff at the reception was very nice and explained everything to us without asking too much. The location of the hotel is very good, as you can go straight to the in-house restaurant or the Edeka. Conclusion: Nice hotel with good facilities.

Since the handover, service has fallen sharply. I had my dish halfway through before I informed the waitress that I was missing a drink. She was busy with her cell phone. Food good, service bad!

The hotel is newly run and seems a bit unkempt. The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice. But the hotel is no longer run with love. The closet had no roof, the toilet flush was far too weak, and the shower had a very, very strong jet from a tiny shower head. The cheap, very thin toilet paper is also not nice and the breakfast room needs a thorough cleaning. The coffee pots weren't clean, some of the dishes were dirty, the curtains needed washing and the coffee wasn't that tasty. But the waitress was clearly trying to keep refills. Overall ok, but it could be better. The area below also needs a new coat of paint 😉

We spontaneously booked the hotel for one night. We received a very friendly welcome and found a very clean and functional room. The breakfast was also very good. All in all a nice short trip. I can highly recommend this hotel.

We always enjoyed eating with the Wisser family, but now that we've changed to new owners we should go to the Wisser's Restaurant again. We booked ourselves two days including breakfast over New Year's Eve. The location is perfect, after leaving the hotel you can go straight into the city center and on the last day you had the Christmas market right on your doorstep. The well-kept and clean rooms are not too modern but that doesn't bother you at all, on the contrary, it just suits the hotel. We ate in the hotel's restaurant one evening and the food and service were great! We found nothing to complain about. There are some free parking spaces in the hotel courtyard, but you have to drive around the back onto the parallel street to reach them. Breakfast is standard. There was nothing special but nothing that we personally missed either. What was positive was that it was very clean at breakfast and dinner. The employees were always polite and nice. We're coming back to the Fehmarn Marathon.

The hotel, like our room, is old-fashioned in the best sense of the word, making it secret and cozy. It has a long tradition and you can't live more centrally in the town. There are private parking spaces in the courtyard, everything the castle has to offer is within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but the hotel also has a cozy bar. Everything is very clean, bathrooms and modern. The breakfast buffet cost extra, but was varied and rich despite the low season and therefore quite a few guests. The staff is very friendly, we really enjoyed being there. Great value for money.

Moin, wir waren 5 Nächte im November im Hotel Wissers. Haben es sehr genossen. Zimmer sauber und gepflegt. Restaurant auch sehr ansprechend. Essen ob Frühstück oder Abendessen sehr lecker und ansprechend zubereitet. Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir waren mit allen Gerichten sehr zufrieden. Sehr gute Küche. ! Dieses tolle Hotel / Restaurant/ Bistro kann ich nur empfehlen. Preis Leistung ist auf jeden Fall gegeben.. Danke für den super Aufenthalt bei ihnen.

Svajigt Wi-Fi är underdrift, 150sek för frukost🙈baren hade inga vanliga drinkar, bara tyska specialiteter. Läget superbra mitt i byn och gratis parkering. Vi bodde i ett jätterum som var mycket varmt. Ingen kyl och tvn var inte vridbar.

Sehr schönes Hotel im Herzen von Burg.( Zentrum) Parkplätze vor und hinter dem Hotel. Hinter dem Hotel, für Gäste kostenlos. Vorne Kostenflichtig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, direkt links und rechts vom Hotel. Lebensmittel ( Edeka) ca. 50m entfernt. Für die Nacht Eulen, gibt es zwei nette Lokale direkt nebeneinander. Auch in unmittelbarer Nähe vom Hotel. Für Jung und Alt.

Sehr nettes Hotel, mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Sehr gut gelegen man ist direkt im Zentrum von Burg und kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Wir würden dort wieder übernachten. Haben auch ein sehr gutes Restaurant, schmeckt super .

Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die Parkplätze sind knapp, aber ich habe vom Chef selbst einen PP bekommen. Hervorheben möchte ich das top saubere Zimmer.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in Burg auf Fehmarn. Die Zimmer könnten gerne mal renoviert werden und hoteleigene Parkplätze sind fast zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit Mangelware. Das Frühstück ist für uns sehr lecker und sehr umfangreich.

Wir sind zwar erst ein paar Stunden hier,aber der Empfang war sehr freundlich,das Zimmer gross und sauber und die Lage,mitten in der Altstadt,dicht bei der Bushaltestelle,optimal. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier buchen,wenn wir nochmal nach Fehmarn kommen.

Kleines süßes Hotel im Herzen von Burg. Zimmer groß, ordentlich und sauber. Badezimmer tip top. Frühstück auch tip top. Was wir schön gefunden hätten wäre wenn die Sachen wie Joghurt, Marmeladen ausgeschrieben worden wären. Bzw welche Sorte man da vor sich hat. Ansonsten zu empfehlen.
